Eating dinner with Sugilite includes:

🍇 Sugilite noticing you on one of parties for IPC higher ups. You came as Aventurine's plus one, being one of his very few true friends. Sugilite observed you quietly for the whole evening, enchanted by your looks and perfect manners. He didn't want to cause a scene by trying to get to know you better in front of your dance partner and his coworker, even if he figured out pretty quickly there was nothing romantic between you and Aventurine. After the party he still couldn't get you out of his head so he decided to make a move. He sent you a letter, asking you to join him for a feast.

🍇 Getting nervous while reading the invitation letter. It's almost impossible to get an audience from one of Ten Stonehearts, getting a chance to be with Sugilite one on one felt like a fever dream. At first you considered not coming, thinking it's just some misunderstanding, but possibility of offending such a powerful man by ghosting him was too risky. Equally excited and anxious you put on your best outfit and went to Sugilite's place.

🍇 Your jaw dropping at sight of his huge mansion, fully lightened up with candles and lanterns. Purple flowers adorned every corner of this place, filling the atmosphere with relaxing scent. Gentleman dressed in elegant suit informed you that Master Sugilite waits for you in dining room and guided you there.

Once old, wooden door opened you noticed Sugilite sitting at the longest table you have ever seen. Expensive furniture was almost breaking under the weight of countless delicious meals. You tried to not let this get to your head, maybe he used to eat like this everyday. It surely was not because of your presence here, was it?

🍇 Sugilite offering you seat right next to him when you try to sit down on opposite side of the long table. He was a gentleman, pulled the chair for you, passed you all the delicious treats you had trouble reaching for with your hands and poured sweet wine for you.

🍇 Slowly relaxing by his side, how could you not when he spoke to you in this calm voice and checked up on you all the time? Making sure your stomach is filled with the best food under the sun, offering you his jacket in case you're cold, even asking if decorations are to your taste.

🍇 Of course they were. Sugilite asked Topaz, the only friend you had in the Stonehearts besides Aventurine for your likes and dislikes. Food, decorations and wine were chosen especially for you. Even perfume you wore perfectly matched the scent of flowers in the air. Sugilite admired how beautiful you looked by his side, as if you were created to be a part of this scene. He wanted to keep you for longer.

🍇 Turned out you guys have a lot of common topics, from your shared love for food to poems and music you had surprisingly similar taste in. If you create any form of art Sugilite will swoon over it. Crochet, poetry or music, as long as it helps him understand you better - he will love it. Evening turned out to be a huge succes, but Sugilite had to drive you home with heavy heart at the end of it. He didn't want to give you the ick by asking you to stay the night so early.

🍇 Next week you received another letter from him, invitation to another IPC party for higher ups. You were happy your shared dinner wasn't a one time thing, but at the same time you were a bit stressed out by it. You see, Aventurine already asked you to go there with him...

Bras last longer when they're air-dried, yes, and they last even longer when they're hand-washed. Chuck 'em into a sink of warm water and detergent, swish them around a little, then leave them for a few hours; drain the sink, refill a little, and swish the bras--repeat this a few times until the water is clear, then hang them to dry

If you have a 'problem' with frizzy hair, you may actually have curly or wavy hair. The internet is full of advice for how to treat it (be aware of the "no chemicals!!!!!" approaches and their overzealous adherents)

White laundry stays whiter when you wash only whites in a load, even with cold water

You can kill a lot of the bacteria in a kitchen sponge with microwaving or a dishwasher cycle, but there aren't that many dangerous pathogens in there to begin with. If the idea of dirty sponges still icks you out, consider using knit or crocheted dishcloth scrubbies, which you can wash in the regular laundry after every use

All the top search results I looked at that talk about he benefits of airing out your home seem to be websites that are directly trying to sell you windows/screens or HVAC service, and they don't include sources, often repeat the false idea that houseplants filter air, and don't at all mention the idea that airing out your house will keep insects from coming in. (This isn't saying not to air out your space--my window is open right now--just that it may not have the miraculous benefits promised. Open your window if you want to, but not doing so won't lead to infestation and doom.)

Hair does not need to be "sleek and beautiful" (see the second point above)

Dryer sheets, and fabric softener in general, only give the sensation of soft clothes because they coat the fibers with a substance, which eventually forms a build-up that can't be easily removed (both on the clothes and in the machines, and, no, vinegar is not a good substitute.) I'm actually not clear on how the act of removing lint from the lint trap takes so long that you need a dryer sheet hack to make it go faster, which was the advice given in the post...unless lint from fabric softened laundry is...stickier?...than otherwise? I haven't used fabric softener for a very long time, so I genuinely don't know. I can quickly roll the lint off of our dryer lint trap screen with my fingers.

Washing your face every day may not be the best approach for everyone, as skin varies wildly among people, especially when aging is considered. (Removing make up is important, though)

(not a rebuttal to the post, but the above applies to hair, too. Washing every day may not be optimum for everyone.)

Take your laundry out of the dryer when it's still warm whenever possible to avoid wrinkles, yes, but don't fold it when it's still warm or the folds will be set in as they cool. I drape/stack the clothes on the dryer door as I take them out, then lay them on top of the basket until I put them away, folding then as needed.

Again: there are always multiple approaches to a lot of everyday activities, and none of them are going to work for everyone, not even the things I presented here. If you've never thought of something before, the first way it's presented to you isn't necessarily the best way.

Billie's new best fren!

Billie isn't fond of Hobie. Nope, the moment she saw him bite her big brother's neck that already gave her the ick. Even before, when she first met him, she didn't like how Miles gave attention and love to his boyfriend. Nope. Nope, she wants all the attention and love, and she's the only one that gives hugs to her big brother.

Now, Billie loves it when her parents aren't around and she's force to be babysat by her brother. Miles never complains about, he loves watching her. The only issues is when Spiderman is needed. Spiderman is a busy guy with huge responsibilities- and guess what! That's Billie's big brother! Yes, Billie's big brother, Miles is the cities' Spiderman! Ever since she can remember Miles had always taken her through the city and Spider Society fighting off bad guys or meeting up with other multiverse Spiderpeople.

Hey, she even have her own watch; it's a pink purple color with a flower spider design on it, and one of Miles' friend, Peter B. Parker gave her a cute pinkish purple Spiderwoman crochet mask. A gift from the lovely MJ, Peter's wife. Not to mention, she gets to play with the other kids Gerald, Jess' kid and Mayday, Peter's kid. They had to build a daycare if a mission is too sever for them to tag along.

Oh yes, that's one of her favorite days, going out to help Spiderman and seeing the universes. Now, her favorite part of the day going into Spider Society is meeting her best fren! Who is her best friend?

Well let's get into it!

Miles in his Spiderman suit had Billie in a baby carrier similar to Peter's but with a nice pouch to fit in baby wipes, an extra diaper and his phone. He jumps on one of the buildings seeing one of the anomaly's hiding in a warehouse. "Looks like we better call for back up, Boo-boo."

"Hehehe," Billie giggles as she had her web shooter toy, multiverse watch on and her mask being ready.

"Hey luv, fancy meeting you here." Hobie appears from behind to hug and kiss his boyfriend.

Billie gasps then scowls, "No!" She aim her web shooter at him almost threatening him. "No, Obie!"

"Billie, don't do that!" Miles' hand made her put her arm down. "He's just saying hello."

"NO!" She scowls.

Hobie took a step back, "Okay. Okay, easy Billie-willie. I'm not touching your brother." His hands up in defense, still having a cocky grin on his face.

Billie set her web shooter down, then looks at her brother, "No, Obie!"

"I know. I know. But he's here to help us fight. By the way, I need to make a call to Miguel." Miles added, using his watch to informed of the anomaly in his world.

Hobie casually rolled his eyes, "Sometimes I wonder if you like his more than me." Being the jealous type, he already didn't like Miguel. That man is too strict, too much of a pain in the ass for Hobie's liking.

"What? He's our boss or leader? He handle this stuff. Don't get upset, mi amor." Miles pouts as he sent out an emergency single. "Besides, you should be worrying about this one not liking you." He lift his chin to his sister's direction.

Billie still glaring at Hobie. "She will love me, after all I'm the love of your life." Hobie chuckles having to give a quick kiss on Miles' cheek.

Miles blushes, "Yet you pick on her."

"NO!" Billie shouted with her hands waving back and forth being mad Hobie got close to her brother.

"Hey guys! What's up!" Gwen and Pav appeared being one of the first ones. "Miguel sent us and Peter out. He's late."

"As always." Miles said holding Billie in his baby carrier.

"Awe, look at her cute mask and" Pav gasps out loud looking at her feet, "her wittle booties! I so want kids when I get married to my beloved Gaytari!" He fantasize being a father with cute kids, especially more when Miles introduce them to his little sister.

"Hehe!" Billie giggles.

Pav playfully do funny faces and tickle her cheek. Billie likes Pav. He doesn't hurt Miles, he's goofy.

Gwen giggles, "Hey, Billie. How's it going?"

"Bueno!" Billies smiles happily at Gwen, she likes Gwen. Gwen doesn't pick on Miles for fun!

Then the portal open having Peter B. Parker with Mayday following along side him wearing a cute Spidergirl outfit. "Okay, May. Remember to stay away from dangerous. Your first task is to climb away from danger and stay close to my sight."

"Okie Dookie, daddy!" Mayday giggles then gasps, "Billie!" She happily skips over to see her cute baby sister. "Hi, Miles." Mayday view Miles as her big brother too.

"May!" Billie giggles at her older sister.

Miles chuckles, "Hey, May. How are you doing?" He squat to her level that way she can hug Billie.

Mayday sniffs Billie, "Good and she smells so good. Baby smell!"

"All baby's smell like that." Peter chuckles, "So what's the plan?"

"I thought Miguel gave you the plan?" Gwen asked.

"Well, you're all adults. I thought you guys can make up one. Who needs that Grumps' plan?" Peter asked out loud.

"Miguel is gonna get mad if we don't follow his plan...." Pav hums, as he squat to play patty cake with Mayday while Billie cheers them on.

"I like that. Let's wing it, eh? Come on, luv. We can do it." Hobie said to his partner with his hand on his shoulder.

Miles rub his chin, "I dunno know..."

"Come on! We can do it!" Peter said out loud. "Besides this is level two anomaly. We just go in and out."

Gwen shrugs, "I guess, but if Miguel come at us. I'ma put the blame on you. Your the oldest!"

"I'm not that old." Peter pouts.

Mayday turns to her dad, "Daddy, you're old!"

Pav burst out laughing. "May, why your mean like your mom?" Peter pouts again.

"Anyway let do this!" Hobie said.

The spider heroes group up, then each one began using their webs to swing to the warehouse. Peter said, "Miles. Hobie, you took east. Gwen and Pav. West. I'll come from the top. Remember stay quiet and hidden."

"Got it!"

This is where it got fun. Miles and Hobie stuck together being on top of the stairs out of the warehouse. Hobie peaks to find the anomaly eating something, being all hunched over. Billie saw a blue butterfly coming out of the warehouse, it landed on her nose. "Ohhhh, linda!" her big round doe like eyes gleaming at how pretty it is.

"It's doing nothing? Is this a level 2?" Hobie whispers turning to his boyfriend.

Miles shrugs, "Miguel sent the scan. We should be careful since Lyla seems to give warning to not upset it."

Hobie rolled his eyes, "It's always Miguel said this and that, luv."

"Hobie, he sent it." Miles side eyes him then place his hands on his hips. "Esta loco?"

Hobie sighs, "Sorry, luv. How about a kiss? Come on, I need to know you love me." He pucker his lips waiting for his boyfriend to kiss him.

Miles blushes, "Hobie, we're on a mission."

Billie felt Hobie's body getting way too close for comfort and it made her more mad that the pretty blue butterfly flew away. "NO!" She shoot her web shooter at Hobie's face.

"Good job, Billie." Miles giggles.

"Hey lovebirds! We're about to move close." Peter call them through their earbuds. "Hobie go in. Pav is already setting up the trap. Gwen and Miles, distract the anomaly."

"What do I do?" Mayday asked as she stood on the roof with her dad being excited to help.

"You stay here and be safe, honey. That's a big job."

"Aweee, you never let me help." She pouts.

"I promise you will but you still need to practice on your web shooting, and powers." Peter kisses his daughter's cheek, "Stay safe, remember." Her dad went in one of the holes of the old warehouse.

Miles and Gwen went inside of the warehouse, they saw Peter on top. "Okay, now." He said through their earbuds.

Within a blink an eye, Billie was already seeing pretty blue blasts. Her big brother being extra carefully because of her. Gwen shouting to give warning. The anomaly is all glitching, with a pretty periwinkle blue and white glow. Billie's eyes noticed blue butterflies around the small anomaly. "Pretty!" She said. Why did the butterfly look so small, too?

"Hobie, now!" Peter uses his web shooters to block the entrance.

The anomaly growls and glitch out sounding so afraid like a frail small animal. Hobie appears using his guitar to wack it. The Gwen uses her web to surround it. The anomaly look so scared, confused that it made Billie upset.

When Miles got close enough to use his lightening on it, Billie started to huff and puff. Big tears forming from her eyes as she saw the tiny anomaly whimpering in fear and pain. "Nononononono!" Billie wiggles having to burst out crying out loud!

"Billie? Wha-what's wrong?" Miles looking concern. "Are you hurt?" He quickly took step back to check on his sister.

"Nonononononono. Malo! Malo her-man-no!" She cries out loud with her hands smacking her brother being upset.

"Qué?" Miles trying to calm her down.

Hobie saw the anomaly quickly uses its blue bean to aim at Miles and Billie. "Miles, look out." He quickly pushes them out of the way. The beam aims from bottom to the top. Hitting the roof!

Mayday shrieks seeing the beam coming through. "MAYDAY!" Peter shouted, seeing his daughter falling into the warehouse.

"I gotchu!" Pav swing by to rescue her, catching her in his arms.

Mayday hugs Pat's neck tightly still feeling her heart pounding. That was too close for comfort. She will listen to her dad next time.

Peter saw the warehouse crumbling, "It's falling! Everyone get out." He swing out with Pav and Mayday.

Gwen quickly got out of window. "MILES! HOBIE! OVER HERE!"

The small anomaly scattered away from an opening getting away. Billie saw this and was proud to save it. "Come on, luv. Let's go!" Hobie carries Miles bridal style having to book it.

The group got out safely. Peter sighing in relief having his baby gurl in his arms, "Oh thank god, you're okay May." He almost fainted with relief.

Gwen crosses her arms, "So? Mission fail?"

"Mission fail." They all agreed.

Miles look at Billie being chipper than before. "What happen with Billie?" Pav asked having his chin resting on Miles' shoulder.

"I dunno know. She was crying and I thought she hurt herself? Maybe- I need to go to med-bay. Maybe she sprain something?" He's voice filled with worried.

Hobie said, "I don't think she's hurt... I think she didn't like what we were doing to the anomaly."

"What?" Miles blink in surprised, then again his little sister is smart like Mayday. They are more aware of things than most kids.

Billie merely glance up at her big brother then giggle. Gwen said, "I mean, that's kinda good? She's aware of emotions, right?"

"And bad, because she can't be in missions like this." Peter added having to hold his daughter in his arms being over protective.

Then their watches beeping from Miguel. Lyla's voice rings their ears, "Miguel wants to see you all!"

"UGHH!" Everyone except Mayday and Billie groaned.

"Yay, uncle Mig!" Mayday giggles.

Billie cheers out loud, "Tio!"

"I thought she would hate Miguel?" Hobie asked.

"No, she actually loves him." Miles casually say. "They're best friends."

Hobie stop following him being surprised, "What?" Almost in shock.

Billie laughs out loud at his expression. "Yeah, her and Miguel are like this." Miles crossed his fingers, "Same way with Mayday and Gerald. Hobie, why you're so surprised? Miguel is great with kids."

"It's just..." Hobie pouts at Billie, "Alright, lil one. I'll be your best friend."

"No!" She pouts. "Tio!" She chanted.

Miles laughs, "Oh now, you want her to like you. Why? Because Miguel?" He always knew Hobie would be jealous some way some how.

They all went to spider headquarters to face their leader.

My cat is keeping me company while I'm crocheting from bed because my body is fighting off yet another ick, & the tree right before I put the angel on top. The kids decorated it all by themselves this time, the first year ever. Also, the first year they didn't put the topper on because both of them are too heavy to lift that high now even for thier Dad. To be honest, I don't think I have one. I really love color. I mean, I will admit that I'm not a fan of most greens unless it's really blueish or pastel. The darker/muddier it is the lesser I like it...olive green is probably my last choice of paint color. Yellowish/greenish browns maybe? Camel? Remember Pedro's crochet sweater top? That's probably a color I could say makes my face involuntarily frown. So maybe it's not always a color that puts me off, but an ill-fitting combo. Like camel and cherry red. 🤮

Depends on what you define as "real." Do you mean corporally walking around this Earth and can be shot and hung on a wall real? Because then the answer is none.

But there's a chance that reality is always being made and remade. Maybe it's parallel universes. Maybe it's the Big Bang over and over. Maybe we're all living in a computer simulation. Nothing is really real or permanent or proven. And yet, our brains can make the most wonderful things true. In that case, all.

What do I believe? I don't even know. I am a true agnostic in the purest sense. My spirituality is Shrodenger's Box shaped. Nothing is real. Everything is real. Possibilities are endless and I love them all.

You know, I have never done drugs and there's a THC gummy in my kitchen pantry that I've been saving for the right time. If this is me stone cold sober, I bet I'm hilarious when I'm high. And I bet acid would allow me to see through walls.

Whenever I go to the zoo, I will admit that I'm okay if I miss the aquarium because I'm not a water girl. But. Once I step inside, I'm like WELL OF COURSE I WANNA SEE ALL THESE WATER FRIENDS. My favorites there are the sea dragons. I could watch them all damn day.

Yes. I feel naked without earrings and rings. If it's not overkill, I'll also add a necklace, bracelets, and/or enamel pins. Sometimes I'll add them BECAUSE it's overkill.

I love jewelry, but I hate getting it as a gift because it's also the one thing I'm very very picky about. And I have certain metal allergies. So if someone buys me jewelry, there's a good chance they either bought me something I can't wear....or, if I can, then they spent too much money on me.

Fortunately, I really love beaded/stringed bracelets! (Best bet!)

do you love "The Simpsons"?

Love? No. Casually like? Sure. I've seen a handful and found them amusing. I liked it a lot when I was younger, but I kinda lost track at like season 7 or so. It boggles my mind when someone quotes an episode and is like, "do you remember that one?" And I'm like....whaaaaat. You know there's over 700 episodes, right? Mando is my favorite show and only has 24-ish episodes and I need to go rewatch that to remember everything. You expect me to remember "that one episode" of a show that's been running for a literal legal lifetime? And when I tell them I don't watch The Simpsons, they look at me in shock, like I don't drink water or breathe air.

If an episode is on in a waiting room, I will find that preferable to many other waiting room channels. I appreciate that the characters have remained recognizable for decades and you don't have to know all the episodes to enjoy the fact that Homer is going to reliably fuck up or that Marge is gonna mmmmmm at him or that Lisa is disappointed in the ignorance around her but still has lessons of her own to learn. Maggie's gonna suck on that pacifier forever (or until she grows up and becomes a raging punk, right?)

I like them. But there's too much of it for me to love. I have a Star War to obsess over....

I love a loud print, and I like this silhouette, but the print is only working for the pant. I even kinda like the ruffly lace trim in general, but it should have been a different color. Pick up the orange or the pink from the print. The blue contrast is just ick.

The top would be better in a cotton double gauze, with cotton crochet lace edging. Especially in the bodice between the panels.

The loud pink print would be really cute on an outfit like this instead.

Annoying habits of the Hooker Clan

Mae

Mae eats when she's bored. And she's frequently bored. There isn't much for them to do when they're just on he road getting from place to place so you can bet she's the first one out of the vehicle at the gas station, on the hunt for snacks. And she will hoard them under her seat. She's especially fond of those drumstick ice cream cones.

She does not share her snacks. Get your own.

She always has to have her hands busy too. I wouldn't necessarily call her fidgety but she likes to be doing something. Either playing with Caleb's hands or crafting something. I think she could for sure crochet. She gives me the vibe.

She also strikes me as a skin picker. Constantly pulling the skin off around her nails, it heals so fast though it's not noticeable unless someone catches her doing it. Caleb will catch her and stop her on occasion, more often than not though she'll just start picking at his skin too.

Mae tells stories that don't make any fucking sense. Like she skips around all over the place and sometimes she'll mention a person you don't even know like you know them which leads into a side tangent about them. It's really best to just go along for the ride and act like you understand.

Caleb

He chews and spits tobacco, and he's so fucking loud about it. Even worse is he leaves the gas station cups he spits into just laying around. A few have gotten knocked over in whatever vehicle they're in.

Caleb insists that he knows how to do things that he does not know how to do. He bragged up and down about what a good mechanic he was to everyone but the second one of their vehicles has a faulty starter and Jesse sent him under to bang on it.... Well it became clear that he exaggerated his abilities.

Caleb doesn't mean to be but he's just a tad bit too rough. He's still adjusting to his vampire strength and can get a bit carried away. Mae has scolded him more than a few times while they were play wrestling for actually managing to bruise her.

He gets the ick in the middle of feeding sometimes. Because of this he's almost accidentally turned a few people. He had to get into the habit of killing before feeding. I guess you could sa he's the vampire equivalent of a picky eater. He also wont feed on anyone who he thinks looks gross.

He's convinced he's a real smooth talker who can get himself out of any situation. He's really not though. The others do not let him talk to cops when they get stopped.

Jesse

He's always cracking his joints and it's like conceringly loud. On more than a few occasions Diamondback was convinced he'd broken a finger or two, only for him to flex them and assure her they were in working order.

Jesse blows his nose into his hand. It's super gross, everyone hates it, he doesn't care. It kinda goes back to before he was turned he never saw the point in handkerchiefs and tissues weren't really a thing. He just doesn't think much of it.

He's got a bad temper. Usually he keeps it pretty contained but certain things still just make him snap. Mostly when he feels like his leadership isn't being respected or he feels like his control over a situation is slipping. Since Jesse was turned he felt like some of his autonomy had been stripped away so any situation where he loses control is triggering for him.

He falls asleep watching TV but if anyone tries to switch the channel he immediately wakes up and goes, "Put it back, I was watching that."

He picks favorites and everyone knows it. More often than not he lets Severen and Diamondback get away with shit the others wouldn't dare to try. It can cause a bit of tension. Thankfully it tends to just kind of blow over though.

Diamondback

She takes hour long showers, like the kind that use up all the hot water. She actually hates being grimey but it just kinda comes with their lifestyle so she takes full advantage when they stop. Because if this habit the others have learned to get in there before she can.

She makes little sound effects with everything she does. Jesse finds it really cute but the others get annoyed after a while.

She starts arguments just for fun. She craves stimulating conversations and outlets for her aggression and it's a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone. She rarely takes these arguments seriously, though she is in it to win, but they can really get some of the others fired up. She thinks it's funny if someone gets mad at her for articulating her point better.

Speaking of outlets for aggression she stabs holes in everything with that damn knife. And if she isn't stabbing holes she's target practicing, even if the vehicle is moving. She's hit Severen a few times "by accident".

She moms everyone. There's no getting around it. At best it's sweet and makes everyone feel secure buuuuut sometimes. Man she can really just be up your ass and overbearing. I feel like it's a little bit of overcompensation because she can never really have her own child.

Homer

He throws tantrums, bad ones. Totally throwing himself on the ground screaming kicking tantrums. Thankfully they're far and few between but they do happen. He just has a really hard time regulating his emotions. He still has the brain of a child but he's coping with a lot of adult issues so he melts down.

Picked up Jesse's bad habit of blowing his nose into his hand. Probably the only one other than Jess who doesn't find it absolutely gross because he also still picks his nose. Like openly picks his nose. He doesn't care. He wipes his boogers on other people. Mostly Caleb.

Will whine and yell about how stupid he thinks a show or movie is and how he doesn't want to watch it but you still catch him side eyeing the screen during all the important parts. Of you call him out he insults you as a distraction.

He's really moody. Could be having a great time one moment and the next he's moping or pissed off. Its mostly because he's actually in his head a lot and reads into things too much, putting himself in a mood.

He lies for no reason at all other than he thinks it's fun. He sort of adapted this habit from Diamondback's play arguing. It's the same concept for both of them. It's just stimulating.

Severen

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he fucking stares dude. And he does it shamelessly. If you catch him he's not looking away he's going to keep staring. It makes people super fucking uncomfortable. But honestly it's usually a sign that he likes you. He's trying to observe you. That or you're about to be dinner.

He's also very touchy, constantly has his hands on other people. Sometimes its to assert dominance but once again its also just something he does when he likes you. He's just plain not good at boundaries or social norms.

Everything Severen does is loud. Feeding, talking, fucking, walking. He even talks and snores in his sleep. If you're sensitive to noise he's a fucking nightmare.

Sev thinks he's the funniest person unalive, truly his own biggest fan. He laughs obnoxiously at all his own jokes. Sometimes he laughs so hard he can't even get the joke out. And if you don't think he's funny or laugh with him he gets super sore about it. (Same tbh)

He has kind of a fragile ego. If you insult him or hurt his feelings you're gonna be on his shit list for a hot minute. He holds onto a grudge the longest out of anyone in the clan. He hold grudges against people who died in 1935.

1. Is there any scene from any piece you’ve written that actually scared you? If so, describe the scene.

Scared, not so much. I was disgusted with the scene I did for Xavier and his necromancy, because he’s just not good. At all. Like, he kills a girl to summon a dead warrior for his army, and his biggest concern afterwards is that his robe is ruined. Like... dude. That’s your priority? Ick.

2. What genre do you feel most awkward writing?

Ooh... I’m not good at sci-fi. Or mystery really. And despite the fact that I seem to stick at least one romantic pair into my works, I’m not exactly... great at it. At least past hugs and innocent little kisses. I can do those. Anything more than that is just awkward.

3. How many different types of writing do you write? Types of writing include novels, short stories, poetry, song lyrics, etc.

Um... I did some short stories for class, and I’m attempting novels. I’m not great at poetry, unless you’re counting like... haikus (and even then...). So I guess two?

4. How old were you when you first started writing?

Ooh... I was in fourth grade when I really started, so I must have been like... nine? I wrote this horrible story about a girl and her dog for another classmate, whose reading level was far below “typical” levels, and gosh, I was so proud of it when I wrote it, but man, do I want to forget it now. I seriously hope my classmate took it home with her at the end of the year, and that my teacher doesn’t remember it. Unlikely, as she remembers me reading under the desk during class, but I still have hope that she forgot that part of the year.

5. How confident are you in your writing?

I’m... not. I mean, academic writing, like research papers and what not, I’m pretty confident in, but my fiction? Uh, yeah, I’m not so sure about that. I mean, I can’t get the images in my head down on the paper right and it’s just... ugh, I’m not good enough for it. But I’m practicing, and with practice I should improve!

6. Have you ever written and posted anything that was very personal to you?

Not really. I put some stuff in fanfiction that was more personal, but nothing very major. I’ve considered it, but when I’ve talked about those things offline, I got brushed off and some people told me it was no big deal and to get over it, so I just... avoid it now. Honestly, if I ever post something that came out of a personal place, I’ll probably write it as a fiction and never tell anyone.

7. What inspired you to start writing?

I was a huge reader growing up; my Nana always told us if we wanted to watch something based off a book, we had to read the book first, so that was a thing. And then I just wanted to write.

But as much as I say I try to forget that fourth grade “book” I did, that classmate was actually a huge part of it. Like, there was nothing that she could read/understand/test on in our class library. Keep in mind, she was at like... a kindergarten/1st grade reading level in fourth grade. And I wanted her to have something to read... which is how Suzy and her dog Bozo became a thing. Not sure if Suzy was actually the girl’s name, but it sounds write for 4th grade me.

8. Which of your OCs do you relate to the most?

Out of all of them? Probably Violet. I’ll be honest and admit that a lot of her traits are also mine. She’s not quite me; she’s a lot more assertive for one, and she’s not exactly one to back down from what’s right (in her eyes), but some of her backstory came from my life. (I’ll leave it to y’all to guess which parts as I post more about her)

If not Violet, then it’s probably Tobias. I completely relate to hiding the bad things behind a smile, so that’s a thing.

9. Have you ever written self-insert fanfiction?

I have, and nope, no one will ever know which one ever. Middle/High school was a bad time for me and fanfiction ideas, let’s just leave it at that.

10. What is your favorite piece you’ve ever written about?

Ooh, that’s a good one. I don’t actually know. I’m pretty fond of the ones I’m working on now, but... I tried writing out a script in high school (it’s gone, don’t ask) based off the Japanese Internment during WW2. It’s a really important thing for me to have tried, and I intend to go back to it one day, but that’s got to be my favorite because of how personal that time period is.

11. How frequently do you actually sit down and write?

I’ve been really good about sitting down and working on my stuff, whether it’s brainstorming, worldbuilding, or writing little bits every day! It’s my resolution for the year, and I’ve pretty much stuck to it!

12. How many hours at a time do you do research on your writing?

It depends on the thing I’m writing. Like... the Japanese Internment takes far less time to research because gee, I’ve got tons of sources already at home, and I’ve already done a bunch. But the less I know, the longer it takes. And because I don’t trust the internet sometimes, I double-check everything I find on it, so it takes a little longer.

13. Do you like to branch out in your writing or do you tend to stick to what you know?

I... tend to stick to what I know. Maybe one day I’ll branch out, but for now, I’ll stick to what I’m comfortable with. I have a hard enough time with that, you know?

14. What would your antagonist of your current WIP say to you if they saw you in person?

Huh. Frog Prince’s major antagonists are themselves, so they’d probably yell at me. Xavier from Death’s Eyes would tell me to make myself useful (in some way) or he’d just kill me. And since the antagonist in Villain’s Intern is technically a hero, he’d probably give me some inspirational speech or something.

15. Do you consider yourself your OCs’ god or just kind of a guiding hand (or other? If other, please list)?

Hahahahahahahaha, other. I’m the poor historian desperately trying to figure out what happened so I can make a reasonably accurate retelling of the events, I have no hand in any of this, help me

16. What do you think you’d be doing with your time if you’d never gotten into writing?

More video games. Probably more reading. Maybe more crocheting and sewing, because I’d have more time to do those!

17. Have you ever written a smut piece?

....Yes. I don’t remember if I ever posted it, it was awkward and horrible to write, I’m still not comfortable with it. I can read smut without much issues, but writing? That’s something I’m not quite sure practice will help with. ^^’

18. What was the first thing you ever wrote about?

Not counting school work? Suzy and Bozo. A girl and her dog. Silly adventures a 4th grader could think of.

19. What is the most creative creature you’ve ever created for world-building?

Uh.............. most of mine come from other things, but I suppose Matelus has these fire rock things that I haven’t talked about much. They’re rocks mostly, but they’ve got lava as the equivalent of blood, and can breathe fire, and they’re actually pretty passive. Some of them have gems that would be like... hair, but not all of them. They don’t attack people, except in defense (because people try to steal the gem hair) and they mostly just... make things. They’re more the smith part of Matelus than anything else, and I want to hug them. Except they’re rocky and hard and kind of spiky, so probably not a great idea.

20. Tell me one random fact about your WIP that you have yet to tell your followers.

Uh... I... don’t know. What’s not a spoiler? Um... so, relation-wise in the Frog Prince world, the major conflicts link back to the same family. Like, Gwen and Rhia are sisters. Scarlet has to face her curse because she’s trying to find Gwen. Rhia becomes Alba (Snow White’s) stepmother, and Gwen and Rhia’s grandmother is the one who curses Aoife (Sleeping Beauty). Like, they’re all connected and I feel like it might get too convoluted and messy, so it might change, but as things stand, that’s the way it is.

What shall we do today? I think it might be too exciting for some. I am off schedule this week because of a late afternoon CT Scan yesterday. It really takes all day because I can’t eat beforehand (it helps with the sickness afterwards - trial and error, believe me it is much better) and then you drink the barium and the ick starts and lasts for 17 hours. So today is Treadmill, stretches, food. Shower. Food. Laundry. Food. Crochet. Food. I mailed five packages last week and FOUR of them were listed as running late. Now three of them are listed as “delivery date unknown” all three were going to people in my city. My favorite is the one shown here. This will only amuse you if you know our local cities. This one was being delivered six miles from the post office I dropped it at. Nothing exciting. This is something I would rather keep private.

what are you talented at?

I don’t have any stand out talents. I was pretty decent at crocheting a few years ago, but I am horribly out of practice. I need to get back into that one day. There are also 2 or 3 specific dishes I can cook semi-well, but probably only I enjoy them. That is all I can think of at the moment… and even those are flimsy answers at best, haha.

what is a big goal you are working toward (or have already achieved)?

what’s your aesthetic?

I don’t have one specific aesthetic, but I do tend to be drawn to darker colors. I wear predominantly black, but not 100% exclusively. I adore books, so in terms of home decorating, I love a house with bookshelves and lots of books. Books, to me, are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

do you collect anything?

BOOKS! (big surprise, haha) Also: tarot & oracle decks, crystals, stationary (journals and pens specifically), as many different types and flavors of tea as possible…. uhhh, I think that is mainly it.

what’s a topic you always talk about?

Mostly I try to ask and talk about what is going on in other people’s lives. One topic that seems to come up a lot is other people’s pets. I wish I did not have allergies so I could have cats of my own, but I have to love and appreciate other people’s kitties instead. Another frequently brought up topic is the whole “what is wrong with people/the world these days”. I have been trying to have a more positive outlook, but this gets brought up a lot by other people too.

what’s a pet peeve of yours?

Rudeness! People who do not wash their hands. People (especially kids) who feel the need to touch every single thing in a store. This especially applies to grocery stores. Unless you plan to buy some apples, do not touch them all and do not let your kids touch them all. It just icks me out!

good advice to give?

Anger hurts the person who is angry much more than it hurts the person who the anger is directed at.

99% of the time, it is not worth getting worked up over something. Just let it go and move on with your day.

what are three songs you’d recommend?

OoOo tough! I have been listening to a lot of instrumental music from movie soundtracks lately, so this makes it a bit harder to give recommendations.
