I am attempting to roast pumpkin seeds. But I don't think they were dry enough and so they are taking forever. Smells nice though. They are cinnamon sugar seeds. That we got from the pumpkins we carved today. 

It was a pretty good day. I had a better time sleeping last night. But getting up was still not fun. James came and tried to get me out of bed but I was just sort of miserable. But I knew we were goingto a farm and I was looking forward to that. But somehow I messed up the research and the place I had wanted to go wasn't open today and I just felt so stupid. 

I went and got a shower after a little bit of moping. 

James looked into it more and found a roadside place we could go to. I was hoping for more of a farm to walk around but this was good too. 

We took the long way. Enjoyed the beautiful day. And around noon we got there. Honestly it was small. And we didn't even spend that much time there. But I liked seeing all the pumpkins. They had some beautiful flowers too. I had brought hot apple cider with us and that was just a nice thing to have. But we found the perfect pumpkins pretty fast. And we got some gords and a chili pepper plant. 

After we checked out I asked a woman who worked there if she would take an instax photo for us but she said she isn't feel comfortable because of covid. And like that's chill. But she wouldn't stop saying it?? And it made me feel uncomfortable? So then I said well is it okay if we take a picture on their hay seat area. And she was like that's okay. So we took a selfie. Not exactly what I wanted but that is okay. I just want more pictures of me and James and we've been bad about that lately. 

James got oatmeal cream pies. And he loved it. But I just thought it was okay so I gave my other half to him. 

It was a nice drive home. We listened to a podcast. I enjoyed watching the trees. And soon enough we were home. 

When we got back James decided to go for a bike ride and I worked on finishing my animal cross on house. And we would carve out pumpkins when he got home. 

I set up a little clean space in the studio to carve the pumpkins. We had decided to do the little house idea I had seen the other day. James did the hard carving parts. I did the drawing. And I scooped up all the pumpkin guts and I separated the pulp from the seeds. Excellent fun and probably the neatest pumpkin carving experience I've ever had. 

Once we cleaned up James made a little display and it looks great. I cleaned the pumpkin seeds and laid them out to dry. 

It was later in the afternoon now. And I was tired. I went and watched videos for a while. Eventually we decided we would have pizza for dinner. But until then I would sleep. 

I woke up and the sun was down and that felt weird. But I could hear James in the other room getting the pizza from the delivery person. And I shook off my tiredness and went to find him. 

He had pizza for us and also a package! The package was the tote bags I ordered for me and Jess's store. They feel so well made. I am very pleased. 

We ate pizza and he got started on his game with his friends. I sat with him for a little. But then I got to work on pinning the tote bags. And then I got to work on the roasted pumpkin seeds. 

Which I just took out the oven and they are super candied but they are so good!! The ratio was a little off from the recipe. I did two cups of seeds. 3/4 cups of sugar. Cinnamon and salt. And then an egg white and vanilla. Had to bake it for almost a half hour but I am super happy with them. 

Now I am ready to go wash my face. I am hoping to have lots of energy tomorrow to work on things in the studio. So wish me luck. I hope you all have a great night. Sleep well my friends!

Chuck vs. The Tango Part 1

"Please... please don't shoot; don't shoot me. Just put the gun down. Gently."  Chuck said. "I can't shoot. That's the problem. The stupid thing is busted. " A kid said handing Chuck over the fake gun for a hunting game. It was just another day at the Buy More for Chuck. "Well, when it comes to Mr. Bartowski, my friend, busted is just a state of mind. Opening this puppy up. reconfigure that. And ta-da--locked and loaded. Try that. nice shot. See?" The kid started playing the game and it was working smoothly. Harry Tang, one of the most annoying employees at the store, all of a sudden appeared behind Chuck. "Chuck, big Mike wants to see you." "Not now, Harry. Can't you see? I'm with a customer? I apologize, sir. This is not normally how we do things at buy more." Then big Mike appeared behind him. "Now, Chuck!" " I was just on my way to see you-- that's crazy." Chuck said following him in to his office. Big Mike took a seat on his chair while Chuck just stood there. "Bartowski, what is it that you want out of life?" " You mean, existentially--like, fulfillment, inner peace, that kind of a thing? Or are we talking more practically, like, Lakers tickets, personal steam room..." "We're talking buy more. Career objectives. Where do you see yourself in five years, ten years?" "Honestly?" " Honestly." Chuck took a moment. " I have absolutely no idea. " "Well, then it's time you started to think about it. As you know, there's an assistant management position open. It's down to you and Harry Tang. Now, you want that job or not?" "I do, I do. Uh, I'm sorry, big mike. I absolutely want that job." " Well, then, Bartowski, it's your turn to show me something."

After Chuck took a few co-workers to the back, explaining to them that they had to fix a whole lot of old computers in two days or else Harry Tang would get the job, Morgan appeared in the back to let him know that you and Sarah were in the store waiting for him. He always had to add too how hot Sarah looked. Yes Sarah was gorgeous but he only had eyes for you. Walking out he saw you two standing by the door, arms linked. "Hey girls!" "Hey!" you and Sarah said at the same time. "You two seem very...tight." "Well Chuck we are supposed to be long time best friends. Gotta sell it right?" Sarah said. "But we all know that Sarah really does want to be my bestie. She loves me." You said giving her a smirk which she couldn't help but smile back at you. Sarah didn't want to say it but it has been a long time since she had a real close girl friend and she was really actually starting to see you as one. "I'm feeling replaced here Y/NN." Chuck said pretending to be hurt. "Oh Chuck you know you can never be replaced." You said coming up to him and putting your arm around him. "So what's up?" Chuck said putting his arm around your shoulders. "We need to talk." Sarah said pointing to the home theatre room. "Oh! Okay." You all walked over and then Casey appeared shortly after. "Next time you need to talk to the subjects, I'd appreciate a heads up." "Relax. I wouldn't dream of starting without you, agent Casey." Sarah said a little sarcastically. "Mom, dad, can we get on with it? I have hard drives to fix." "And hot dogs to cook." Sarah then leaned down and placed four photos on the table. Chuck grabbed one of the photos as you both looked at it and sat down on the couch. "Why are these people sleeping?" Chuck asked. " They're not sleeping. " Casey said. "They were killed, guys, and we want to know why." Sarah said. "We have no idea." You said. "Well, look again." Casey said. " I would rather not. It's kind of creepy." Chuck said. "Yeah I don't like this!" you added. All of a sudden Jeff came walking in and you all stood there looking at him. Jeff was holding a paper and you and Chuck saw an article about an art auction. You both began to flash. La Ciudad was the main thing that stood out in the flash. "Sorry. I was going to take a nap. I'll come back in five. Kind of called dibs on the couch." Jeff said leaving "Chuck, Y/N, what did you see?" " Um, I don't... I'm not... I'm not totally sure. A water lily painting, weapons,..." Chuck Started. "An art auction tomorrow night. Does the name La Ciudad mean anything to you?" you asked. "Why?" Casey asked. "Because I think he's going to be at the art auction tomorrow night." You said. "Right then. I'm goingto go fix some hard drives. Good luck with the spy stuff. Excuse me. See you later Y/NN."

Later at night at Chuck's house, Ellie was busy cooking but got so excited when she heard about Chuck's possible new position as assistant manager. Morgan was chilling with them as usual. "I'm so proud of you! Morgan told me about the assistant management job!" Ellie cheered. "Team Bartowski moving up in the world, huh?" Morgan said. "Okay, first of all, it's not mine yet, and second of all, you can ease upon the enthusiasm. It's only a two dollar an hour raise at an electronics store, and it doesn't even give me my own parking space." All of a sudden the doorbell rang. Chuck went over to answer the door to find you standing there. "Y/N hey! What's up?" he said gladly inviting you in. "I was bored." you said with a smirk on your face. "Well I am very honored you came to see me then." You both began to laugh and he then lead you over to the kitchen area. "Hey Ellie! Morgan!" "Hey Y/N!" Ellie said giving you a big smile. "So what did I miss?" "Chuck is being offered a position as an assistant manager." Ellie said. You then turned to him. "What?! That's great Chuck! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" "I don't know. I'm not quite sure that I want it yet." "Well, does your lack of interest mean that you're actually considering leaving the Buy More for a real profession?" Ellie asked. "And no offence to you Y/N. I know you're only at your place to pay the bills. Nothing wrong with that." Ellie added. "Real profession? Sorry. I'm going to need clarification on that." Morgan said. " He went to Stanford, for God's sakes, Morgan." " Right, and was unceremoniously expelled sophomore year-- sorry to bring that up, champ-- but I think we need to be realistic about our goals here." "Morgan!" You said going over to him and slapping his arm. "Ow!" "His goals or your goals?" Ellie asked. " Great question, and I think we need to hammer out a plan for Chuck. Where do we see him in five years? Ten years?" " We?" you asked. " Fine. Then just you and I." Morgan said pointing between him and Ellie. Ellie just looked confused.

It's been quite some time now and you and Chuck were now just sitting on the couch, eating the cupcakes Ellie baked, while watching her and Morgan discuss Chuck's future. "Listen to me-- it is way too scary out there. Chuck can't leave the buy more. We're still finding ourselves." Morgan argued. "No offense, Morgan, but I think my brother has spent quite a few years finding himself, and he's definitely proven that his place in life is not at the Buy More." " You don't understand. He is a fragile little gelding. You know, still trying to find his legs. The real world will crush him." "Do you know what a gelding is?" "It's the... that weird creature from the dark crystal. Smells like gelding. That-that guy." Chuck turned his head to look at you. "Aren't you glad you came over now?" "Well I mean... it is kind of entertaining." You said with a grin. Chuck smiled and shook his head then you both looked back at the argument between Morgan and Ellie. All of a sudden, Devon appeared sitting on Chuck's other side. "You know what I'm thinking?" he asked "I have no idea what you're thinking." Ellie admitted. "As far as I'm concerned, dude, you're way off the reservation." Morgan added. "Class five white water rapids. Just the two of us this weekend. " he said looking at Chuck. "Near-death experience. Awesome!" Devon finished raising his hand for a high-five. "That sounds great, but my wet suit's at the dry cleaners." Chuck said getting up. You got up with him to help him with the dishes and you both headed to the kitchen. "That is a terrible idea." Ellie pointed out. "That's way too dangerous. I agree, and I am not comfortable with you guys spending that amount of time together." Morgan said. " Well, Chuck hasn't said a word. What do you want to do?" Ellie asked. You looked over at Chuck wondering what he was going to say. "I'm just going to hit the sack." he said looking over at the group. He then turned to you. "Do you mind coming up with me though? Just need to talk to you about something." "Sure!" Chuck then looked over at everyone else one last time. "Good night, team Bartowski. "

You followed Chuck upstairs to his room. Chuck was feeling nervous. He was going to try once again tonight to tell you how he feels. You have both come across to many near death experiences now and Chuck was scared he was never going to get to tell you so he thought better now than ever. As soon as you both entered his room though, Casey was standing outside, opening Chuck's blinders and staring at you both. "Ah!!" You screamed as Chuck jumped. "Oh good! You're both here. Even better. Congratulations you two, you both got your first mission tomorrow night. Hope you're ready for the real world huh?" Casey then just walked away as you and Chuck were both staring at each other both feeling a little terrified. Well...Looks like another lost opportunity for Chuck to tell you his feelings.

Summery: After a job gone wrong, Jeon Jungkook finds a target on his back, realising he has no idea who wants him dead, they bring in the help of an old friend who coincidentally is an assassin for higher.

You along with the rest of the group stood in the boss man's office, Jungkook and Yoongi sitting in the two seats, in front of the desk, while the rest of you stood around, waiting for Mr Jeon.

Taehyung and Jimin leaned against the wall next to the window, Namjoon and Jin stood near the desk tablets in hand, while you and Hoseok stood near the door, having a quiet conversation about motorbikes.

The door next to Hoseok opened revealing Mr Jeon, walking in and sitting at his desk, everyone straightened up, ready for the meeting.

"So, you didn't find the rest of the jewls?" He asked, you shock your head no, while the others looked down, Namjoon walked over to Mr Jeon, handing the tablet over to him.

"Yn sent the information about the necklace, The Swedish Family possessed the Russian pink-topaz demi parure.

The Pink topaz demi-parure (necklace with three pendants, a large corsage brooch and a smaller brooch), 1804. Taehyung piped up, "I found the necklace, it's going up on auction tomorrow, but still no sign of the rest of the jewls, there are six all together, we've got four, meaning there are still two missing." He explained. Showing the picture of the necklace.

"The auctioneer is a friend of mine, Yoon Jihun, I could convince him to get us in. The place is in Gangnam, so you know it's goingto be expensive. " Taehyung said looking up for approval to call his friend.

Mr Jeon nodded, "I want you to do your best to get that damn necklace, whatever it takes." He said, you all left, while Taehyung pulled out his phone and called his friend.

"I don't really care about any of that stuff, cut to the chase, would ya." Yoongi said, a bored expression on his face.

"A man only interested in the climax. You must be a real hit with the ladies." You said smirking at him, "Never had any complaints." He told you, you just rolled your eyes.

"Yoongi, you go in the back way, act like a waiter, just in case things doesn't go our way." Namjoon said.

"And what exactly is our way?" You asked, "well, I think you four should act normal, bid at a few things, try and get the necklace, as Tae said someone else wants it, so if they end up getting it, I'll hack the main frame, turning off the lights, with the seconds there out, Yoongi, you'll steal the necklace." Namjoon told them the plan.

"Ok, but what if the people who also want the necklace, what if they already have the six gemstones we're missing?" You asked looking up at the others.

"That is actually a really good point, okay, we still do the plan, but Hoseok, you tale the people who want the necklace, follow them, then we can have a look around see what they got." Namjoon said.

"By we, you mean, us" Jimin said pointing at him, Taehyung, Jungkook and you. Namjoon smirked "Well I'm not going am I."

"We still have one problem, I have nothing to wear" you said looking between the boys, "Well, I guess we're going shopping then" Jungkook said smirking at you, "Oh goodie" you said with no enthusiasm.

_________________________________________You sat in the car, with Jungkook driving, the both of you going shopping for the auction tomorrow night, Jungkook insisted to go with you, and no one else, to say the boys had a laugh about that.

You both sat in silence, the radio playing lightly in the background, you gazed out the window watching the lively city go by as you got nearer to gangnam, Jungkook made it very clear that he knew the perfect place to get the perfect dress, though you weren't quite sure why he was doing this, but oh well.

The moment Jungkook parked the car he turned to you, "stay there" you looked at him about to question what he was doing, but he got out the car and ran to the other side, your side, opening the car door for you.

You raised an eyebrow at him as you got out, "Why-" before you could finish he interrupted you, "Just wanted to be a Gentleman" he told you, a cute bunny smile showing, you couldn't help but smile back at him.

Walking in to the store you looked around, the place was beautiful, but way to flashy for you. Looking up at Jungkook "Are you sure, this place is a bit to much for me" you told him, Jungkook just chuckled, "A beautiful lady needs a beautiful dress".

"Wow, going all out with the flirting today" you told him laughing, Jungkook roll his eyes at you, "Better me then Jimin" he whispered, you gave him a questionable look, he shock his head telling you to forget it, but the pink on his cheeks told you all you needed to know, a smirk showing on your face, your definitely going to have some fun.

_________________________________________After about an hour, really it took an hour for you to find a dress, no more like an hour for Jungkook to approve of a dress, you ended up getting a black, elegant sexy fitted gown, the front was plane while the back was exposed, a small chocker keeping up the dress, the skirt was a flowy skirt with two slits both sides of your legs, the perfect place to hide a weapon you thought.

The day was actually pretty fun, you didn't really expected the day with Jungkook to be entertaining, the two of you agreed to have dinner at one of the restaurants in the hotel.

And that's where you were now, sitting across Jungkook, while you both ate your food.

"So, I haven't met your mum yet" you said making small talk, Jungkook chuckled "Oh you never will, my mum left a little after she had me, ran off with her boy toy, so dad says. Haven't seen her in 21 years, in other words, I've never met her." He explained.

"Sorry, I didn't know" Jungkook brushed it off, "It's fine, my dad is pretty great, even if he is a mob boss. But anyway what about your parents, they must be so proud that their little girl kills for a living" he asked. You sighed leaning back in your chair.

"Honestly, I don't know, they died when I was young" you told him, he looked at you "How did, How did they pass, if you don't mind me asking"

"Well, my father was a lawyer, best in the business, won every case, until he picked the wrong one, he was forced to take this one case, a man was accused for hundreds of murders, my father was told that he had to get the man off as innocent, so he did, won the trial, man got off scott free, but a few weeks later that same man, he tracked down my father, broke in to our home killed my father point blank, I remember my mother running after me to get out of the house but he shot her too, right in front of me.

After that the police officer who found me, he ended up adopting me, paid for leassons to help defend myself, he was a dirty cop, so when I was sixteen he was arrested, but 'somehow' didn't make it, said they had to use brutal force, killed him because he wouldn't back down, heh what a load of bullshit that was, I ended up being put in to an orphanage, kept running away, by my fifth attempt, they gave up let me go off on my own, trained a lot harder after that, pushed myself to be the best, and I did."

You looked up at jungkook, while he looked shocked "Wow, that's ruf, how did you cope" He asked, you laughed.

"Yeah well, it was difficult at first being so young but I got tougher as the years moved on, became easy after I was sixteen, went in to hidding took the name shadow." I told him, after saying that recognition showed in his eyes "Oh, I get it" He mumbles.

"Well, this was a lovely chat, but I think it time for me to go to bed" you told him, Jungkook looked upset, "Are you sre I can't convince you to stay, even a little while?" He pouted.

You smiled at him, "As much as I would love staying here, but we both have a busy day tomorrow, Don't you think?" You asked, Jungkook nodded, "Yeah, your right, I'll walk you to your door then" he said getting up and walking with you to the elevator. _________________________________________

You were in the car with Jungkook, the both of you dressed to the nines for the auction, Taehyung and Jimin were a few cars behind, while Yoongi was already at the building. Your about fifteen minutes away.

"Hey Yoongi, what do you see?" Namjoon asked, from the headset, you listened in waiting for his reply. "Just a bunch of high class, lowlife criminals, all cleaned up for prom." He sighed.

"Hey!, are you calling us lowlifes?" Jimin asked offended at that, Yoongi huffed, "Then I would be calling myself one, wouldn't I. Idiot"

"Who you calling idiot? Idiot" Jimin insulted, the two started bickering, "Not the time Children." You called at them, getting them to be quiet.

"Bike racks after school." Jimin muttered, Taehyung giggles at his response, you could just sense everyone rolling their eyes at Jimin being childish. "Guys, focus, Jungkook and I are here" you told them.

As Jungkook stopped the car he walked over to your side buttoning his jacket as the valet opened the door for you, stepping out yourself, Jungkook put his arm out for you to take, both now walking inside.

The room was grand, almost like a ballroom, the place was pretty crowded, and you noticed all eyes were on you and Jungkook, "Should of warned us that there was so many people who know my father, Yoongi? Why didn't you say anything?" Jungkook asked, looking around, irritated by all the familiar faces.

"Sorry I didn't recognize anyone" he told him, Jungkook huffed, looking down at you, "I think it's best to start this with a drink. Don't you?" He asked, you nodded, as one of the waiters walked past, you grabbed two glasses of champagne.

"You read my mind" you said, smirking up at Jungkook, handing him the other glass, "Aw, How sweet, Jimin can you get me a glass?" Taehyung asked through the headset, hearing Jimin scoff.

"Well Jimin you two are on a date, remember?" You told him, Jungkook sniggered at your comment. "Fine, Here you are darling" Jimin's voice was sickly sweet, you all cringed.

Just then a man came walking up to Taehyung and Jimin, "Hey you guys got company" Yoongi called before you could, Watching the interaction ahead.

"Taehyung!, I'm so happy you made it." The man said giving him a hug, Taehyung smile was big as he returned the hug, "Jihun! I'm glad you had the room to fit me in." He replied.

"Nonsense, though I did come to warn you, there is a couple here who want the necklace as well, they seem desperate, even asked if I could sell it to them privately," Jihun told Taehyung.

"Well, The people here didn't get rich by playing fair" Taehyung replied, the two laughed, Jihun patted Taehyung on the shoulder as he walked away.

"Great, we've got competition" Yoongi signed, "Just focus, okay, it will be fine" Namjoon said, trying to ease him.

"Uh Oh, Um Jungkook, a bit of a heads up, I just spotted Sujin, She hasn't seen you, yet, but she's walking in your direction" Jimin's voice held panic, you looked up for an explanation only to see Jungkook panic as well.

"Hey, what's wrong?" You asked, putting your hand that wasn't holding your drink on to his chest, Jungkook eyes met yours, calming him down, he breathed slowly, then you noticed a spark in his eyes, going to question him again, but he beat you to it.

"You trust me right?" He asked, a brow raised, but the slow confident nod gave him the courage to lean in and place his lips on yours.

To say you were shocked was an understatement, but you closed your eyes kissing him back, Jungkook free hand slid around your waist pulling you closer, while your free hand tangled in his hair.

His lips were surprisingly soft, body warm against you, as he deepened the kiss, his tongue ran over your bottom lip asking for him to enter, you happily obliged opening your mouth, both of you fighting for dominance, but at the end Jungkook just ended up bitting your lip, telling you to give up.

You both heard a cough on your right, breaking away from each other, and looking over at the person who rudely interrupted you.

Standing in front of you was a young woman you would say your age, maybe younger? The woman was very noticeably fake tanned and not in the good way, her bleached blonde hair was tide up in a mess bun, her black roots showing, her dress was plan red, the front of the dress showing way to much of her breasts, like she wanted the attention, good or bad, she was shorter then you, but still tried to intimidate you by having her arms crossed, and glearing at you.

Your raised your brow, not at all intimidated by her one bit, though nothing really bothered you after your shitface of a life.

"Wow Jungkookie, already replacing me with a cheap whore?" She asked eyeing you, you brushed off that comment, hearing the gasps of the boys on your headset.

"Replacing you?, No you see this is my girlfriend yn, and as far as I remember, we never dated." He told her, the girl Sujin, looked even more angry, if that was even possible, you found great joy watching this girls expressions.

"Yn? What kind of name is that?" She scoffed, you rolled your eyes at that "Honey, If that's your best strategy, name calling, and insulting me, you've got to up your game, it's not high school anymore, now if you have nothing better to do then waste our time, I suggest you leave" you told her.

Jungkook eyes brightened at that, impressed by your comeback, the women more like girl huffed again, "What gives you the right to send me away?" She asked, getting in to your face, you just laughed.

"If you don't want champagne all over you, then I really suggest moving, and letting me and MY boyfriend have fun on our date night, got that sweety" you told her, intending the hell out of her, as she stepped back.

"What if I just throw the drink at you?" She asked, a smirk appeared on your face "throwing drinks on a black dress? Honey your a lot more stupid then you look, why don't you got find the kiddy section, where you belong, I'm sure your mommy and daddy are very worried" you told her faking baby talking to her.

The girl just stormed off, you looked back at Jungkook to see him smiling the biggest smile you have ever seen on him, while looking at you in amazement.

"Not only was that awesome, but fucking sexy" he told you as you shrugged at him, sipping some champagne "God, she Was a bitch."

"Right?" He agreed, shaking his head at what just happened "So who was she anyway?" You asked, now hearings the rest of the guys laughing their asses off at the conversation.

"Tan Sujin, Her father owns a army for hire, mercenaries basically, went to school with her, she is a little obsessed with me. Not to mention that her dad ended up killing a lot of my dads guys, stayed well away after that" Jungkook explained, you nodded.

"She needs to Stop acting like a Third world thug, she can't do shit, but acts like she can" Jimin's voice piped up, "Oh? A little tension I see" you said eyeing Jimin across the room.

"Yeah, Jimin slept with that crazy bitch, found out she did that to get closer to Jungkook" Taehyung told you, nodding in understanding.

Y/N wakes up with Chris' arm draped over her waist. She pokes his side as well as well as his cheek, and he doesn’t budge. She smiles and carefully moves her boyfriend's arm and she tip toes into the kitchen of their shared apartment. Y/N starts making Chris' birthday breakfast, pancakes, when she feels a pair of arms wrap around her waist, and a head resting on her shoulder. "What are you doing babe,"Chris asks. "I'm trying to surprise you with pancakes for your birthday," she says flipping a pancake. "You don't have to do that." "I know, but I want to, because I'm a great girlfriend." "That you are,"he says kissing her cheek. "Do you want some coffee? I could get it-" "I think I can manage Y/N." She turns back to the stove and the pancakes. "What do you have planned for today?"
