So what if Stede and Ed are having a little disagreement of sorts, with Stede being particularly snippy, and Ed interjects with kisses?

Stede is attempting to argue his point, only for Ed to slowly walk towards him. Stede stubbornly straightens and continues to try and speak his mind, even when Ed looms closer and closer…

…Only to get a sentence sliced in half by an unexpected peck.

Stede sort of blinks at him with surprise, sputters a bit, but continues trying to talk. Like, “T-that’s all good and well, Ed, but—“

But he’s cut off by another peck. Ed is smiling. Stede scoffs and tries to stick to his principals, even as his composure begins to sway. “Edward, you cannot expect to just—“

Oh, but he does, interrupting with another peck. Ed is grinning, especially when Stede finally gives an incredulous huff, something that almost sounds like a laugh.

“I’m trying to make an actual point here—“

Yet the same thing repeats. But when they both pull back, when Ed begins to laugh, Stede cannot help but join him.

“Oh, come on—“

More pecks. More laughter. More love.

And whatever argument was on the table utterly melts away, what with the two falling into fits of giggles and kisses.
