Xdinary Heroes's Discography

Hello Fishies!! Today is one of my favorite bands : Xdinary Hereos. I love their music so much, and with the music I normally listen to in Kpop, they are like a refreshing glass of lemonade.

Disclaimer!! This is purely my opinion. If you disagree, that's fin, but be respectful. We all have our own taste, and we cannot fault each other for that.

Now with that out of the way, let's go!

If I had to give their Korean title tracks a rank it would be :

1.Break The Brake 2.Little Things 3.Test Me 4.Freakin' Bad 5.Haircut 6.Happy Death Day

When the first second of Break The Brake came on, I knew it was my favorite title track. It's like perfect and I will never not think it's one of the best songs released in 2023. Y'all do not come for me. Happy Death Day had me in a chokehold when it first came out. But as time has passed and they released more music, it sadly became the last on the list. I will say however that HDD being last on the list just shows how flawless their titles are.

If I had to give their Korean albums an overall rank it would be :

Ever since it's release, Hello,Word! has ALWAYS been a favorite of me from the group and in general. I personally believe it was the best album of 2022. Every single song hits just as much as the first listen and every listen after that. I could go on forever about my love for this album. While I think every album is amazing, one had to be last, and that sadly was Overload. There's nothing wrong with this album, I love it so much, I just find myself going to it the least out of all their albums.

Hello, World! Strawberry Cake - It's just so perfect and one of my fav Bsides in general.

Overload Zzz.. - She's just so fun and unserious. I love it so much

Deadlock Good Enough - It hits me in the gut so fucking hard.

Livelock PLUTO - I felt like I was floating on another planet the first time I heard it.

Troubleshooting Money On My Mind - I don't see enough of y'all talking about her. She is it. One of their best songs.

My least favorite song is Ghost. I have nothing against her. If it's is my least favorite, again, that's saying how good of a discography they have to me.

A song I wish I could hear again for the time is KNOCK DOWN. Specifically Gunil's bride on to the end.

This is going to be sooooooooo difficult. I don’t even know what to do. I am going to include non bl as well since this is about getting to know me. Let’s start

1. Friends

This show will always be my favorite because of how funny it is. I know every episode by heart. If I hear it on the tv I can immediately tell you the plot of the episode and who is speaking. It’s scary how much I have watched it since it was on air. I just love it so much. If I am having the worst time I will think of this show and smile.

2. Sotus

How can I not include this show? It is literally the only reason I found the bl world. Thank you Netflix for recommending it so randomly because I found a whole new world lol Is it still my favorite? No, but it will always have a special place in my ♥️

3. 1000 Stars

The first show I watched live on YouTube each day it aired from start to finish. I loved Mix from day 1 and Khaotung was just a continuation from Tonhon Chonlatee lol. This show is my favorite and nothing has been able to top it. It makes me so happy and emotional. I love it so much. Earthmix 😍

4. Don’t Say No

This is not my favorite anymore at all. They ruined my couple and I feel like Mame has no plans for Just Say Yes anymore. If you can’t already tell by my url LeonPob were the first couple I became completely obsessed with. I don’t know what it was about them, but I was done. They even were the reason I attempted to write fanfiction. I have yet to finish 😬

5. Vice Versa

This show took me in a chokehold. I am so in love with PuenTaylay. I can’t even fathom JimmySea not being a thing. I got their plushies. I am still so upset we didn’t get a boxset, but let’s not open that can of worms. At least we are getting Our Sky 2 soon for all the fav couples. I need to rewatch this show again and really pay attention, but I loved it 😍 i

6. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

This show is what I have always watched when it was on tv. I think cop shows are so interesting. I love watching all the bad guys get put away. Olivia Benson is the best end of discussion.

7. Cherry Magic

This was my first Japanese show and I am so glad it was. AdachiKurosawa 🥺I love them. I loved this show. I watched it a lot. Of course it has to be mentioned. Very important to me. Proves I am not all about the NC stuff 🙃

8. Crash Landing On You

If you haven’t watched this show then what are you doing with your life?! This is by far the best show I have ever seen. It almost just ALMOST beat out 1000 Stars but Pha Pun Dao is too special to me 🥺 This show made me so emotional and took me on so many rides. I haven’t been able to rewatch it yet, but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants the best story. It’s just so well done. The leads are now married and have a baby so that’s the kind of chemistry you will be witnessing.

my general perception of them

Snake: OK so if you know me, you know what I'm going to say. This man HAS ME in his chokehold, okay? This man could throw me on the ground, stomp on me and I'd thank him. Somehow in such a short time he's become one of my favorite characters of all time. He's got the heart, the look and everything. I love the fact that he never stops trying. <3 Even though the world doesn't deserve this at all!!! I love him.

also I'm more of a moobs girl but i realized the importance of ass thanks to him. I also like thighs a lot so we will sexualize the old man.

Finn: FINN IS LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAV SW CHARACTERS and I just get SO MAD thinking how badly he was treated in the trilogy. I had such high hopes for him so it was so sad to watch it all fall apart. I still think if the EU ever starts to think about continuing on where TROS left, he still could be made into a Jedi knight. I WANT TO BELIEVE. (So far the only thing we have is the LEGO movies lmfao. Even they know that Finn should be training !!)

Anyway. I always thought that giving a redemption arc to a random stormtrooper was a great idea. Imagine if he became a full on Jedi ok not going back to that whole rant I absolutely love how big hearted he is and the way he got super courageous even in the first movie alone.

OKAY I CAN'T NOT SAY IT John Boyega is hot and I'm thankful for his hair transition in the later movies - especially in TROS he was HOT ASF.

an unpopular opinion or, failing that, a fun fact

Snake: If this was an unpopular opinion about MG in general HO BOY WOULD I HAVE A MILLION. IDK what can be said about Snake that would be unpopular. I can't think of a fun fact either. ;_; so I'll widen the question (like i want snake to widen the gap between my legs ok ill see myself out) and say that I don't like how Snake was sidelined after MGS3 was hyped so hard and he became like a secondary character the BB and this is my villain origin story,

Finn: ok again. I don't think I have anything that would be unpopular opinion about Finn since I think we majorly agree that Finn was handled very badly. But I guess I can say one thing - I don't find the way he wants to be with Rey certainly A BAD THING. She was literally the first person after Poe who believed in Finn, and him tricking her made him feel awful about it. She was one of the reasons why he had changed his ways and I love their relationship, platonic or romantic. They are the best <3

ohh so i began paying more attention to nct bc of taeyong’s rap part in limitless (like that weird gargling noise he makes is just ahhhhhrrrfbbf) but sicheng in touch made me an nctzen (HES SO CUTE I 💖CANFHFH) i started with 127 and got attached to dream and wayv along the way <33 but !! i’d say that my ult unit is nct dream ahahfdh wayv is like a super close second (the hoe anthems >>>) but i just vibe better (?!) with the dreamies’ music.

OH YANGYANG IS MY WAYV BIAS <33 AND HIS INTERACTIONS W RENJUN ESP ARE SO CUTEE I CAN'T nct china line superiority <33 i love his raps as such but nectar is a fave !! omg do you have a fave nct u lineup ?? i love the 90s love, ok! and from home lineup mayybbee the misfit lineup too

jkghdfg slowburns have so much scope and space for character development, thicker plot (*coughs* the drama) and multiple genres so since i love stuff like that i adore slowburns. but it's been so long since i read or kept tabs with nct's writeblr bc of school 🤧 so just saying was really refreshing to read (like yangyang + comedy + college au with sprinkles of angst and loads of fluff = user jaynaur bait)

and i've been listening to 5sos on an on and off basis ever since my friend introduced me to youngblood back in 2018 and OOF I LOVE THAT SONG TO DEATH THE WHOLE ALBUM INFACT so it's no surprise i'm obsessed with just saying rn omg i can literally picture scenes from the fic in my head as the song plays out what have you done to me 😭😭 (also i'm v slowly getting into waterparks thanks to this playlist so will they be the next thing i obsess over?? hmmm)

and i personally love listening to a fic's playlist while reading bc songs have their own stories to tell and they help me relate with the fic a little better dkfj idk they just seem to enhance the whole reading experience for me so i get your obsession <33

sicheng is so cute i totally get you being an nctzen because of him<3 i started with wayv, surprisingly. i dont think a lot of nctzens start with wayv AHAHA but my ult unit is definitely dream :)) im really emotionally attached to them LMAO even though i had a slight falling-out with kpop during exams and shit and my mental health, they are still very very close to my heart. then wayv is close second as well for me,, their sound >>> no skip discography for sure. and 127 as last, i dont think i ever really got into them if i must be honest. i love some of the tracks for sure, but they're not my go-to :)

I ADOOORE SLOWBURNS. i used to not be a fan of them bc i was always so impatient but recently, i love to both read and write them:) i wrote a 40k vernon from svt fic earlier this year on my other blog and bro that... that was a ride. the character development? the mood? the atmosphere?? it was also totally unplanned and only sparked as my love declaration to this man (he's my other ult bias lord help me.) but it's one of my most, if not my most loved fic of mine i've ever written.

i don't read much fics either bc i was busy with school as well, and as i already mentioned, i kind of fell out of kpop for a while, but it makes me happy to hear that you found my fic refreshing and liked it so much :)) my other yy fic is gonna be more angsty then comedy (also i have like 3 more parts to write so im gonna be done soon :p) so i hope i don't disappoint if you decide to read it! i also have another wip with yangyang in my drafts but its been so long since i thought of that idea and i still havent managed to create a whole plot around it, so idk if i'll ever manage to actually write it.
