↣NAME↢ Danielle "Dani" Carson ↣AGE↢ 18 ↣HEIGHT↢ 5"4 ↣IDENTITY↢ She/Her | Unknown ↣FACECLAIM/PHOTOS↢ Ash Costello ↣PERSONALITY↢ With an overall demented personality, Dani is not someone you want to let your guard down around. She is extremely loyal to Lord Dianite and does not hesitate to obey her god's will. She is not above trickery and deceit to achieve her goal, nor is she afraid to harm anybody that stands in her way. With a twisted sense of humor, she tends to find joy in others' pain and thrives on their fear. She often acts charming and charismatic, which she uses to manipulate others in her schemes of trickery. ↣BACKSTORY↢ As a child, Danielle led a rather simple life. Her life would change rather early though as when she was 10, she fell into a portal and wound up in the nether. It didn't take long for her to fall into the lava, and that's when Dianite saved her. Once pulled from the lava, her once black hair was half red, as it was permantly stained from the lava. Not to mention, the lava had somehow fused with her blood, which caused her skin to crack and show her now lava blood coursing through here. It was that moment that Danielle realized her calling. After returning him, she knew she would worship no other god.
Even as she grew up, that loyalty never wavered. Even after moving to Maplewood Valley a year ago, she refuses to stray from her devotion. Around a month ago, she landed a job at Hot Topic and has been biding her time, waiting for her beloved god to show.

no idea if octobernite is a thing this year but i decided to make a thing
Tumblr media
also, a bit of a theory:
what if mianite is a loop
spoilers but in the s-1 finale tom and jordan had to both forget everything (at least jordan for sure) cus of the spell to get them both out of the darkness temple
so what if the spell shot the two into the far future of s-1 which would line up to soonish before s1
what if in this time was when the og jerrys tree and the og minecraft project took place? i mean, we already know from the mamas boy animations that jordan came from jerrys tree, and we know that the s-1 world was actually toms minecraft project just redownloaded and made multiplayer (would that also mean the og minecraft project exists in mianite? in this theory, yeah)
so from a lore perspective, what if tom and jordan are cursed? cursed to be stuck in this infinite loop of fighting wot
and cursed to be stuck in a loop of forgetting their battles as to never truly win
and what if, when tom forgets, and dianite shows up to pick him as his champion (i mean, dianite wasn't a part of the amnesia spell, so he would definitely remember tom (who wouldn't?)), it triggers toms memories for only a moment, cus of him being mecha-dianite, but the spell makes him forget almost as soon as he remembers, never truly able to remember his wrongs in a way that he can be better, but simply, cursed to play into this time loop
and what if wot set up this time loop in the first place?
doesn't that seem like the kinda pettty thing wot would do for some sense of victory over the heros?
this would mean tom shooting dianite would be seen as more of a betrayal from dianite's pov, i mean, his old champion has returned and seemed to remember his enthusiasm for following dianite, so he'd have a possible argument to think that maybe tom being different (either cus of being a zombie or the mecha-dianite in him) allowed him to remember, which is why dianite is more harsh with tom in s1? only to be shot by his once cherished champion
as for jordan? the amnesia spell would've definitely worked, seeing as he was the one to cast it
which leads me to the whole thing of s1 ianite and spark, cus think about it, s1 ianite had gone through her prized champion leaving with amnesia, only to somehow come back and remember his unwavering loyalty. than have to leave all over again. and suddenly, this elderly man shows up, but in almost every way possible, he's like some off brand copy of a once great champion (not to talk shit about spark but he's old and probably not as quick with his reflexes as someone in their 20s-30s in combat)
so in a way, s1 ianite being saddened with the "you're not my sparklez" to spark line makes sense, she probably hoped that after the heros jumped through the void they'd reappear in the overworld, right? (HA NO, but that's for another theory)

hellooo! I’ve seen to be playing games lately where time looping is either a core aspect of the narrative and or the game mechanic, and now I’m just thinking about a capsize who keeps getting sent back to the beginning of her journey every time she dies. She just can’t seem to see her mission to it’s end and it just invigorates her to try again, try something else. She just can’t seem to get it right though.
A loop I think would be interesting is in one she manages to get the majority of her crew safely to the island. However, while she pursues a friendship with Tom, Jordan gets closer to the rest of her crew and actively bad mouths her mentioning that her closeness to Tom makes her a bad captain and unfit for the role (he makes it seem like they’re dating and she’s going to betray Ianite for Tom). This leads to Jordan accidentally leading a mutiny against her and those most loyal to her (Red & Rupert & Earl).
The loop almost directly after has her getting to the island early and ‘joining’ team dianite. The issue she finds herself here is that the heart of Ianite she wanted to steal back early has yet to appear in the nether, so she’s mostly bidding her time on the enemy team until then. She’d shown up at the same time as Sonja, so they have a slightly stronger connection towards each other cause of that. Especially because, technically from Sonja’s perspective, both of them don’t get paid much mind from their respective god. Sonja joins the shadows for real this time (they play a much more important role this loop than they do in any other). This is the foxsize loop, because them being ‘enemies’ even though they do not have it out for each other at all and them both pretending to be loyal to gods they aren’t loyal to is a funny dynamic. Unfortunately, the minute Capsize starts to help team Ianite is the minute she gets smited by Dianite, because pretending to have amnesia when you are the worlds shittiest lier is stupid actually. (He kept her on the team because she’s good at the whole chaos destruction violence thing, altho the needing to be hit first to hit back annoyed him to no end)
There’s like I think a bunch of loops until Capsize is hit with the realization that she’s probably never going to save Ianite, because to her she never got saved. There definitely could be a happy ending somewhere here, but eternally stuck looping such an interestingly awful fate that she did not deserve but got anyway.
Hi hi hi!
Oh my god, I love this idea so so so much!!!
Time loops are such a great concept for character journeys, especially because regardless of if it’s intentional or not they have an underlying feeling of horror.
Capsize being stuck in a time loop of being unable to save Ianite is just so good. Especially because I do think it would take a long long time for Capsize to get broken down enough to not try to save Ianite.
The mutiny idea is so good. I can fully see Jordan inciting one by complete accident with his attitude about Capsize and Tom’s friendship.
I see this as quite an early loop. Maybe one or two after the original (which I’m picturing as canon season one). Capsize believes that she’s genuinely figured something out, she’s got through the impossible ocean with the majority of her crew and feels this sense of relief that for once she doesn’t have the guilt of their deaths on her shoulders. And I imagine that relief almost makes it easier to fall into the familiar (to her) friendship with Tom, to ignore Jordan’s comments.
In my head, I think Ianite doesn’t physically show up in this version like she does in canon. She is still taking telepathically to Capsize, sometimes giving her messages to relay to the rest of her followers. This ends up making Jordan’s comments worse, as he’s confused as to why Ianite trusts her when she’s so close to Tom.
When Ianite does show it, it’s moments after it’s too late. The crew launch their ambush. Capsize watches as those most loyal to her are run through moments before a sword enters her own gut. She is barely clinging on as Ianite appears and uses every piece of strength she has to turn every mutinous soul to ash so only the champions and the dying Capsize are left in the room. Someone ends up holding her as she dies, but she’s too far gone to know who it is.
Capsize arriving early is the direct next loop. She wakes back home, back on Ianerea. Immediately she grabs her sword and all the potions she’s meant to save for something important. She heads to the tavern where she knows her crew drink and launches her own ambush.
There are screams and panic and everyone thinks she’s gone mad or broken under the pressure or that she’s just possessed somehow. But every ounce of relief she had in the previous loop for saving them burned into betrayal and turned to rage as she feels a terrible pleasure as she gets vengeance for something that hasn’t happened yet.
When she’s done, those who were still loyal to her looking at her in horror (there’s still concern somehow, but mostly horror). She ignores their shouts and calls and begging to listen to them as walks blood covered to the docks and just starts swimming. It’s illogical, but she’s come back from the dead enough times that she doesn’t even worry about not making it to the island. She wakes up on the beach, being welcomed by Tom, who upon seeing the bloodstains on her clothes knows exactly whose team she’s got to join.
And I think Capsize does have fun in this loop, despite having to lie about not remembering Ianite (something she’d be bad at even without her goddess half screaming at her in her head making the task harder) and the burning feeling in her throat everytime she has to call Dianite her Lord. She can actually let go and just have fun with Tom. She’s never presented as another Ianitee so Jordan is a lot less weird towards her and she can take out her rage at him without anyone batting an eye or saying to give him a chance because she’s on Team Dianite, obviously she would kill him.
And yes so much to this being the Foxxsize loop, she gets to spend so much more time with Sonja. And yes they’re “enemies” but both can tell that neither is actually loyal to the god that they’re following. But Sonja is a genuinely comforting presence, especially when somehow the three loyal members of her crew still turn up (she doesn’t understand how. She was always given the directions and there shouldn’t be enough of a crew left to sail the ship, but turn it they did) and she’s now lying to her own brother’s face that she doesn’t have any idea who he or their goddess is. Sonja’s easy to talk to, and they get a lot closer during all of this.
I think at some point, Sonja does try to subtly persuade Capsize over to the Shadows since she can tell that she’s unhappy following Dianite. Capsize doesn’t go for it, which unfortunately makes Sonja’s reaction to her getting smited all the worse. Admittedly Capsize doesn’t see much of it, but the gathering of shadows around her as she declares war on all the gods doesn’t seem great.
It takes a few more loops for her to realise that she is not going to save Ianite. She’s been chasing a futile mission that was never hers. And this hits her so hard. She wonders if she’s being punished for something, an idea that just leaves her feeling even more broken.
In my head, her realisation happens. And then she attempts to just recreate the first loop. She thinks that maybe if she just dies the way she was meant to, this will all end. And she dies once again by Furia’s hand. And she wakes up again.
The next loop, she just doesn’t leave Ianerea. She gives up on trying to save Ianite and instead decides to die alongside her home and maybe help some of the others escape. But during the attack, something strange happens.
She’s held at sword point by Furia and the guardian teleports her to the champion’s realm. They kill her in front of the champions. It’s nonsensical. It should've made no difference where she died, so why take her to the champions' realm to die in front of four people who are strangers to her in this reality?
And suddenly she has something new to figure out. If she’s actually going to be stuck looping forever, she might as well try to figure out the rules. And she finds that two things always seem to hold true:
She can’t save Ianite and will die before she is saved
She will always die on the champions’ island, even if that makes no sense
No matter what she does, those facts hold true as if the loop is controlled by those two facts. And while those facts are harrowing to her, in a way she takes meaning in them. Because maybe if she can figure out the actual why behind all of this, she can finally rest.

Hi, so, I rewatched the scene where Furia kills Capsize for a reference I needed.
And like the fact that Tom alerted and warned Furia that Capsize was behind them into the temple just fully got me and threw me into a loop
Cause like everyone wise definitely could've done something, but maybe Capsize never would've been in danger at all if Tom had decided not to tell Furia she was there
And just Capsize and Tom's friendship thoughts (guilt and betrayals but inspiration to become a hero or something like that)
Hiiii!! Yes, 100% to all of that!
I think from an outside perspective, the story needed a permanent death to show that shit was getting serious and that they needed to revive Ianite, although the way it happened felt like the most boring way possible.
The story from the pirates onward should’ve heavily focused on Tom not Jordan. He wants everything all the time all at once. Tom wants to be able to stab his friends in the back and continue to be able to call them his friends! Wants to be the very best champion for Dianite, while also maintaining his friendship with Capsize, and these two wants come into direct conflict with each other. So, it’s not surprising to me that he calls her out to Furia.
The interesting thing here for me is to interpret it as a decision that Tom thinks he can amend later. Death isn’t final for him, so who cares if Capsize dies, he’ll make it up to her later. But she does die! And now he’s made a decision he can’t take back!
Everyone in that room could’ve done something to avoid her death, especially given the fact (if my memory is correct) that it was previously stated that Furia couldn’t die by mortal means or something, so they really shouldn’t have even been in the nether in the first place! They gained ZERO information about Ianite and in fact lost more than what they bargained for.
And that right there is what makes the sequence of events so boring to me. I think Capsize’s death could’ve served the story well if Tom played a much more active roll in it. It shouldn’t have been by Furia’s hands, it should’ve been by Tom’s (or Dianite’s). Tom’s relationship with both Dianite and Capsize is important, as is his lack of understanding in the finality of death.
I don’t know if it would inspire him to be a hero, but I think it would make him consider his future actions a little bit more than he would’ve before.

hello my sillies!! since there was a bit of interest in more ab the nonsense that is my take on godswap mianite AU i went and dug up some of the brainrot I wrote last year but never shared outside of a private discord server + new stuff that I've recently came up with :D Enjoy! ❤️
- Jordan was born to parents who are priests of Mianite and raised in the temple- and ultimately was meant to be Mia's champion, and was trained as such for the majority of his life. However, being around mianite for most of his life made him cynical of the god and his principles, and went he got older, he left to seek out the god's brother, pledging himself to Dianite and wanting to bring about chaos. Amused and flattered by the man's near blind loyalty, Dia makes Jordan his champion
- His primary weapon is a firework crossbow gifted to him by Dianite himself (has piercing 8, mending, quick charge and unbreaking V (and flame on it, for use with arrows)) Plays off the sparkly and the fact that this man is a goddamn amazing sharpshooter no matter what universe he's in
- Mianite instead finds his champion in Tom Syndicate, the formerly deceased son of lighthouse keepers in the realm- and is brought back to life by the god (Mia never explains why specifically Tom was chosen, is described to people as just a "godly omnipotence" kinda thing)
- Shortly after Jordan, Tom, and the priests (aka FyreUK, with Wag and Matt under Dia, K.Tom under Mia) arrive and start making a mess of the realm with their shenanigans, a pirate ship captained by a 4th priest named BruteAlmighty "Phil" and two people- a parrot shapeshifter by the name of Sonja OmgitsVoidparrot and Tucker Jeriicho (normal human... allegedly)
- Sonja and Tucker both grew up in Ianarea, and with Phil's arrival from the End, have been searching across the realm for their missing goddess, and their messages led them to the Spawn Island (which I wish was canonically named istg) where supposedly a ruins containing information is hiding (Jordan and Tom both claim they know where this is. they dont)
- When Sonja was younger she was named Ianite's champion at a ceremony in Ianarea and was gifted her shapeshifting abilities as a way to hide from forces of evil and get into places more secretly
- Idk how canonically Nadeshot/The Modesteps enter the realm in character but basically at some point a flying ship appears and from it drops Captain Engine Failure and Skipper Coppereyes, more Dianitees (probably there to mess with Jordan) because Dianite having the most members is hilarious to me
(I got an ask about EF so I'll elaborate on her dynamic with everyone in a separate post >:] But bottom line put two chaos makers and an explosives enthusiast (Copper) in the same room it never ends well xD)
- I'm still thinking on this but with FyreUK, their priestlyness was given to them as a group due to the presence of the shadows from the get-go. When the Darkness began encroaching, the gods all sought out their respective priests and gifted them with powers to protect their respective domains (Dianite took in two- one to look over his temple in the nether, one to keep in the overworld because. chaos agenda- that one's Wag) and guide their champions when they found them
- Wag takes Dec's place by this logic i guess, he lives by the nether portal and will be anyone's personal tour guide because he likes doin it. and yes he absolutely uses any excuse to mess with people to mess with people he can be a menace a lot if he wants to
- Also Dec is a Wizard, I haven't developed him yet (he also has no design dont worry about it) but yes. Mans took on Athar himself he's just built different
- Syndisparklez and Foxxsize agenda always love me a good enemies to friends to lovers kinda shit. most of it is Capsize/EF flirting horribly with Sonja (and her not sure how to reciprocate but wants to) and Tom and Jordan with their usual "i fucking hate you i wish you were dead (read: i want to kiss you so bad)"

jordan is to sonja as tom is to tucker, jordan and tom are to sonja and tucker
it's Odd to like. parse out my thinking on this bc you think everything has to b in threes but the moon and sun dichotomy kinda shifts it, same to the dark and light, and in some ways the "good" and "bad" (obviously we know that there's no real either/or with that but as it plays in mianite there is always very clearly a force for "good" and one for "bad")
everything is in even numbers. love wag but we are setting him aside bc despite him clearly being more or less adopted into tr he was never an Original Member and v much the outlying factor of the norm. there are Four champions, Four Heroes, four people who went to that island. and that is already a push against the norm bc Trinity Island makes it almost clear that like.... three.
three is the magic number of mianite. it is. three gods, three aspects, three elements, three "realms." but like.... four heroes. and it makes sense bc it Wasn't Always Three, but it WAS always going to be four heroes. if jordan had Not created ianite the chances of him being a dianitee wouldve been Pretty High. so, the score for champions becomes two and two- tucker and sonja to tom and jordan.
and each of them are Assigned an "Opposite" specifically. tucker and tom is really kind of obvious, the first two around, the Original champions of opposing gods, which makes them like. the Main Focus for Championships. tucker is Mianite's Champion, tom is Dianite's Champion. and the other thing about it is that they've both heralded the "bad" force of their respective seasons because of their championships. tom's loyalty to dianite in s1 was part of the main issue, he helped play the villain. tucker's loyalty to mianite in s2 was part of the main issue. he Helped play the Villain (even if he wasn't wholly aware of it)
sonja and jordan is a little harder to settle into but not by much. they're both basically outcasts of their own teams. this is running, of course, off the idea that jordan was Meant to be a dianitee- he fucking outcasted himself so hard he created his own party to play by. and sonja love her to death and pieces was so constantly forgotten by mianite that she might as well have been a wizard in season 2 (not to mention the fact that she worked with the shadows in season 1 lending to another point in the oppositions but we Will get there). they both also heralded (or helped to herald) the "good" force of both season- jordan because he has main character syndrome positive derogatory and sonja because she literally wants to HELP.
which makes it funny to me that tom and tucker lend themselves more to the idea of "light" champions and jordan and sonja lend themselves more to "dark." which is where, yknow. the shadows kind of come into play.
i'll be totally transparent about the fact that i have no idea why tom and tucker both feel "light" to me. they do, though. tom's is definitely his loyalty to dianite that kind of pushes it for me but also i think just the both of them being stubborn in the idea that they're not going to Change how they go about their championship. they're Very light, to me. very very light. idk. but as the Champions (capital because they are the first) they're like... Focused on more? in the literal light, the spotlight of it.
sonja and jordan are "dark" for kind of obvious reasons. jordan's mostly lends itself to isles and that whole bullfuckery with deals he may or may not have made, but also just the consistent talks botan had with him and just. bwuh. sonja's is very much bc of her actual deal with the shadows but i also the think the idea that it's because she is looked over so consistently is what makes her "dark" to me. jordan isn't looked over by anyone anymore, but he was before ianite was real, because he wasn't... clearly aligned with anybody. but sonja Was and was still kind of just Glided over. so, yknow. forgotten about in that darkness.
and it's why the Four works, because if we take away ianite, pretend that jordan's just another champion (little c for not the main one) of dianite- you've got one light and one dark on both teams, and in the end i think. very similar to how sonja betrayed mianite i think jordan would have ended up betraying dianite if the situation was similar in that regard. this was going to go even further into how tom and jordan are the ones that get chosen to continue on voidhopping and worldchanging because of their Affinities, and because they proved to be "more" than tucker and sonja in trinity island but i dont actually want to sit down and write more on that. so. you know.
anyways. i think i am. kind of batshit silly goofy for this but whatever

Pspspsp info dump 👀
Ok so in season 1 of Mianite there's this place called Ianarea which is basically a kingdom dedicated to the goddess Ianite. There's a part of the kingdom that's in the end and seems to be actually ruled by Ianite and then there's a small area in the overworld and the lore for all of it is really vague from what I remember so I decided to rework all of it. So in the AU there's still the part in the end ruled by ianite, but then there’s an overworld kingdom by the same name that is not ruled by Ianite but in dedication to her, so most of the people living there are followers of Ianite. She spends a lot of her time in the overworld in this kingdom.
Phil, Tubbo, Tommy, Wilbur, Techno, Niki, and Eret all live in this kingdom. Phil, Tubbo, Tommy, Wil, and Techno all live together, Phil being the head of the household having taken the other four under his care at varying ages.
Phil is an inventor who’s most well known for his invention of the elytra, makeshift wings that can be used by humans for limited flight. He owns a shop where he sells his inventions and he’s well regarded in the community as the type of person you can come to for help with any problem. When he’s not working in the shop he’s either hanging out at the library with Tubbo to do research for his new inventions or bailing Wilbur, Techno, and Tommy out of trouble.
Tubbo works as an archivist at the kingdom’s library. He works closely with Ianite and the royal family to record and preserve the history of the kingdom and of the gods, as well as to take care of the library and its other contents.
Techno is a young anarchist who used to travel the world by himself before being forcibly adopted as Wilbur’s friend when he was passing through Ianarea. He’s well known around the kingdom for his habit of sneaking both himself and occasionally Tommy and/or Wilbur into the kingdom’s political meetings to cause problems on purpose. He also has a tendency to screw around with the royal guard members who patrol the streets of the kingdom during the day, often distracting them by departing them about political philosophy while Wilbur and Tommy cause problems on purpose. After traveling for so long he’s gotten really good at fighting and teaches Tommy and occasionally Tubbo combat and self defense. When he’s not causing problems on purpose he’s usually helping Phil around the shop.
Wilbur has a similar rebellious streak to Techno, though he does it more for the aesthetic and fun of it than for any actual political philosophy. He has a habit of stealing things just to see what he can get away with and he’s become a fairly good pickpocket, though Phil’s been trying to get him to stop. He has a love for the ocean, having grown up in the area of the kingdom near the harbor, and had even wanted to be a pirate when he was younger, much to Phils chagrin, but he never learned to swim and so became put off by the idea. He instead works as a musician now, playing at local taverns and restaurants.
Tommy picked up Techno and Wilbur’s want for rebellion, but Tubbo’s strong moral compass has also rubbed off on him over the years, so after learning how to steal stuff from Wilbur he became a bit of a robinhood type figure around the kingdom, stealing for the good of the people. Of course he does also tend to participate in Wilbur and Techno’s mischief just for the fun of it as well. He’s gotten into countless fights with business owners and the royal guard and more often than not ends up having to be bailed out by Techno and Wilbur. When he’s not causing problems on purpose he’s known to spend his time keeping Tubbo company at the library.
Niki is one of Wil's childhood friends. She owns a bakery and volunteers at the library alongside Tubbo in her free time. She’s honestly most of Wilbur’s impulse control besides Phil. The boys all spend a lot of time hanging out in her bakery, and more than a few times she’s had to hide them from the royal guard.
Eret is another one of Wil and Niki's childhood friends who grew up to join the royal guards. Wilbur and Tommy aren't exactly thrilled at this development and tend to avoid him after he joins. Techno still thinks he's chill though and always makes a point when he's messing with the guards to stop by and visit with Eret at his post. He sometimes gets posted at the library and so he and Tubbo chat pretty often and are on friendly terms. He and Niki are close so he visits her in the bakery fairly often, and he tends to go to Phil for advice when he needs it since he grew up around Phil being Wilbur's friend. Honestly him vouching for Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy is probably most of the reason the three of them have gotten away with as much as they have.
One of the big inciting incidents of Mianite s1 is that Ianite is captured by her brother Dianite. The actual timing of it all is really vague in the series itself but I generally assume that this took place before the beginning of the series. So. AU plot pre Mianite s1: Ianite invites Tubbo to travel with her to Mianite where she’s meant to meet with Mianite to discuss some things regarding recent events and changes they’re thinking of making to their realms and such so that Tubbo can record the events of the meeting to be filed in the library of Ianarea. They shouldn’t be gone for a month or two since Mianite isn’t too far away, so Phil allows Tubbo to go on the trip. He travels with Ianite to Mianite, meets Mianite, Declan and Champwan, and the Wizards, and records the events of the trip and of the two gods meeting, and it’s going great. Then the whole thing with Ianite being captured by Dianite happens and basically Tubbo ends up captured alongside her.
And so the plot of Mianite s1 starts. Everyone starts arriving in Mianite. Tom, Tucker, Sonja, Jordan, The Modesteps, Nadeshot, the gangs all here! And they start picking their sides as followers of Dianite or Mianite, and Jordan does his whole “haha i’m on my own team i’m team Ianite” without realizing Ianite is actually a real goddess, and the next morning he wakes up and there’s this fucking ghost in his house. Except it’s not actually a ghost, it’s Tubbo! Because they're still aware of what’s happening in Mianite while having been captured by Dianite, Ianite basically saw Jordan declare himself her champion and went, “well, okay, he’s our best bet here.” and used what powers she could still access to tether Tubbo’s soul to Jordan and sends him to go look after Jordan and do his best to keep him safe and kind of lead him in the right direction towards saving the two of them.
So Tubbo and Jordan are stuck together. Tubbo doesn’t really tell Jordan much at first, he does even give him his name, just kinda hangs out, gives him advice, leads him towards the right decisions and such. And it goes on like this for a while, because no one else can see Tubbo, except, it turns out, Mianite and Dianite. Mianite basically just doesn’t acknowledge it. But Dianite’s definitely a bit pissed off when he sees Tubbo with Jordan for the first time.
Eventually though, Techno, Wilbur, Phil, and Tommy show up on the shores of Mianite! They came all this way looking for Tubbo since he had never come back home like he was supposed to. They meet up with Jordan, Sonja, and Tucker, who are fairly weary of the travels considering the last unexpected visitors to arrive in Mianite unexpectedly had been the pirates. So the boys explain why they’re there, tell them about Tubbo, and Jordan hears these guy’s description of their friend, looks to Tubbo beside him, who had seemed uncomfortable since Phil, Tommy, Techno and Wil had arrived, and has this whole moment of just “oh shit” as he realizes the kid they're looking for is the specter that’s been following him around for months.
Tubbo all but demands that Jordan does not tell them about him. And this is the point in the story, when Jordan returns to his base after talking to SBI, the Tubbo and Jordan finally have a heart to heart and they actually start being productive.
This is most of what I have figured out for the AU, at this point, but I do have a few one-off ideas for later on in the story. At one point in Mianite Ianarea is destroyed by Dianite and the Mianite gang discovers this upon traveling there. At this point Eret and Niki will end up going back to Mianite with the Mianite gang + SBI. I know, at one point, that I want to have the wizards do something that makes it so that everyone can see Tubbo again, maybe for a limited period of time, maybe for the rest of the story, but yeah, sappy reunion time there. I’m thinking about maybe adding a few other people to the Ianarea gang, like Fundy, Quackity, maybe Scott, but we’ll have to see about that cause I won’t do that if I can’t do it in a way that works naturally for the AU.
What I do know for sure is that there will be a happy ending, Tubbo will be saved alongside Ianite and be reunited with his friends and no I will not tolerate any alternatives.
Anyways yeah this is literally three pages long. Anon you asked for an info dump and you got one :) I’d love to hear what y’all think or any ideas you might have since this au is definitely a big wip

Placing Mianite’s Gods on an Ideological Spectrum (but not taking it too seriously)
It sucks to be dead center on an an ideological spectrum. Opinions pull at you from both sides. Politically and religiously, I’m – well, I wouldn’t say I’m a fence sitter because that implies hesitation – but I’m grounded between camps. I’ve been Christian, I’ve been conservative, I’ve been liberal, and now I’m realizing that none of the labels fit me. But I know what does. I like being able to wrap my head around as many viewpoints as possible. I like bringing conflicting ideas together and helping people find common ground. Sure, I voted Democrat this election (and please tell me you did, too). No, I don’t believe in the Christian God. But if you’re a Trump supporter, we can have lunch. If you’re an old friend from church, I miss you and would like to catch up. It struck me today that I might be an Ianitee irl. This is all on a whim, of course. I’m not trying to “sort” myself into her “house” or assign anyone else a Mianite god, for that matter. My point is not to assign a label, but to explore an idea.
The goddess of balance walks a tightrope. She holds a scale. She is both light and dark in a photograph—and therefore, she can also be grey. She’s an impartial judge. Her job, although far grander in scope than mine, isn’t totally unlike what I do for my tiny group of friends on the internet. Her followers might be people who struggle to navigate the warring dualities of their worlds. This makes Prince Andor a bit of a chaotic Ianitee if you think about it. It comes naturally, of course. If the balance leans toward Mianite, then Dianite must bleed into Ianite for the brothers to equalize. The goddess of balance wields both order and chaos. If Mianite reigns, the neutral sister stands with Dianite in bringing chaotic revolution to the doorstep of tyrannical order. Likewise, if Dianite has plunged the world into darkness and fire, Ianite joins with Mianite in building armies and sanctuaries. “We are not pacifists, nor are we vindicators,” Andor said. “We are nature. We are whatever balance demands. We are void and we are hurricane. We are the healer. We are the warrior.” If Dianite had ravaged Ruxomar and Mianite had lay dormant for ten years, a blade in his chest, both Helgrind and Andor may have preached quite different yet still conflicting ideas. As a psychological note, an Ianitee will have a hard time if they’re conflict-avoidant, but they’ll go through Hell if they’re ill-tempered. The magic word is temperance. (See the Temperance arcana in Tarot.) I suppose I might as well go ahead and draw the comparison between an Ianitee and a centrist, a term which may hold some emotional charge for you if you follow politics. Put simply, a centrist holds moderate political views. I don’t identify as a centrist, but the term does describe me, and my refusal to accept the label might serve only to exacerbate the problems a centrist already has. My problem – which a certain type of Ianitee might share – is a lack of belonging. Few people consider you their ally because few have the time or interest to let you engage in the long, convoluted process of proving your character and earning their trust. On the surface you might seem – as I said before – like a fence sitter or even an enemy simply because you refuse to accept a proposed solution. Most people wish even their enemies some amount of good, but when it comes to choosing between friends and enemies, most will choose friends. You might not want to make that choice. You might want to save everyone. If you can’t, you won’t. Your stance may sound sensible once you’ve had time to parse it out, but it’s far smoother on paper than in practice, and it’s nigh impossible to preach “love thy enemy” to a wounded wolf. On the other hand, maybe you are a fence sitter. Maybe you genuinely don’t know right from wrong. Maybe you’re a bit of a nihilist. “Is all this conflict really worth it? Return it all to nothing. Void.” (In your local RP group, ever thought of playing an Ianitee who wants to “End It All?”) But hopefully, you’re more of an existentialist. You see meaning vested in people and their accomplishments. You want to help them find the best meaning for them and you don’t think they’ll do it by veering blindly toward every impulse. Extended streams of impulse gratification can lead to extreme ideological thinking, such as totalitarianism. You don’t want a world full of people who all think the same thing. Again, the magic word is temperance. There’s real importance in having two sides to a system. Take, for instance, the political structure of the United States. Democrats and republicans are ever at war, but what are they really doing under the surface? What are they intended to do? Well, that’s up for debate (some might say “kill each other”), but if we take a broad look at history, a pattern emerges. One party – the party of order, you could say – establishes hierarchy. It defines who is who and who gets what. It puts competent people in positions befitting them and treats the less competent with compassion. That’s if all goes well, but the party of order isn’t impervious to corruption. People who tout themselves as servants of God and the State turn out to be monsters who ravage the environment, the economy, the rule of law, and each other. That’s when – take this with a grain of salt – the party of chaos steps in. At first it calls for change. It articulates and expresses visions for a better order. It doesn’t seem so chaotic now, but as the corruption spreads, unhearing and unyielding, moderates and liberals become radicals. Calm discussions become battles for sweeping change. The rebels rage for equality and take it by massive persuasion or by force. They break up the calcified structure of the old order and drag it back down into the primal, bloody sea from which new order springs. (I’m dipping into Mesopotamian mythology here, and if you’re familiar with the Enuma Elish, you’ll know the significance of what I’m about to say.) Order will return, but it must be guided. Someone must ensure that the reborn world is more just and peaceful than the dead one. We need order within chaos—Yang within Yin—white dot within black swath.  I’ve just tried – and perhaps failed – to describe the eternal cycle of order and chaos in terms of real-world society. Now let me place it in a simplistic Mianite shell. Mianite builds hierarchy, Dianite tears it down, and Ianite stands in the middle, bearing two communicating vessels, ensuring that neither too much nor too little blood is spilled in the process of transformation from old to new.

a bit of dianitee jordan for the soul and for the nerf house and also for @syndcates
“captain,” dianite says out of nowhere. jordan doesn’t stutter in his stride, lets his blade swing once, twice, and then the mobs in front of him are dead and ash‒ he picks up the arrows, checking to make sure their flint tips are still sharp. skeletons are good about that, usually, but one could never be too sure. “i have something to ask you.”
“shoot,” he replies. he checks the sharpness of his blade in the meantime. he didn’t miss the malice in dianite’s voice, the sharpness in the cool tone‒ his god is unhappy with him, to say the least, and jordan believes he knows exactly why.
“where,” his god asks smoothly, “is the armor i gifted you?”
“currently?” he hums, and tucks his sword away. “on syndicate. he got a lucky hit off during the purge. tucked it away in his vault.”
“and you didn’t simply steal it back‒ i know you have ways of entering, and i know you were able to kill him. i didn’t make you my champion for no reason, captain. you’d better have a good explanation.”
jordan takes a swig of a speed potion and lets it sit at the back of his throat for a moment, biding his time and smiling when dianite’s anger starts to rise. a little bit of anger goes a long way, doesn’t it, when the two of them are connected‒ jordan can get a lot of energy out of this one, if he plays it right, so he thinks he’ll bide his time until‒
there it is, he thinks to himself when the ground starts to shake. there’s a fissure near his feet, suddenly, and he can see the rising lava, so he takes too steps back and sighs.
“quite honestly, my lord, i wanted to see what you’d do to make him give it back.”
dianite pauses in his anger and it still simmers, but not as threatening anymore.
“after all,” jordan continues, well aware of his own smirk, “i have my own set, and we both know your sister won’t give him much. it’s a little bit of pity on his part, but i know you want to see how well he can fight. to see if he stands a chance in saving her at all.”
there’s a sharp twist in his gut when he says that, and he frowns, because usually that means dianite’s guilty, which, why should he be, but it fades quickly enough that jordan chalks it up to some sort of doubt.
“very clever, captain,” his god says, and he keens at the praise. “very clever indeed. i’ll have to think on what to do with the little nuisance‒ if he does well enough,” dianite muses, “i may just have to steal him for myself.”
jordan snorts aloud, but doesn’t say anything. he knows trying to get tom on their side is a futile effort‒ the man’s dead set on saving the lost goddess, and dianite, praise him to bits, is trying to fucking kill her. but jordan’s not going to say that. he’s tempted fate enough as it is.
“in the meantime,” dianite tells him. “i have something i’d like you to do.”
“of course, my lord,” jordan replies, and sets out towards the cave’s entrance with a growing grin. “what chaos can i bring today?”

It wasn’t often that Tom felt like warnings of any sort were worth heeding. People often overreacted. ‘Don’t touch that’  ‘Don’t climb that high’ ‘Don’t challenge him to a fight’ ‘Don’t taste that weird green goo’,  blah blah blah, always so boring. No one was willing to have any fun. But the warnings he did at least give a bit of consideration to were the ones from his God. Dianite may not really care about Tom but as long as Tom was useful, Dianite had to have some sort of interest in his continued survival. So when the book was left for him saying that Ianite may not be all that she appeared, Tom actually took it into consideration.
But really? Ianite? Jordan’s dodgy eyed, bubbly Goddess? Evil? Sure the Ianite of Ruxomar had caused the taint and destroyed the entire city of Dagrun with it  and all that but she’d been chill whenever Tom had spoken with her. He didn’t admittedly have much experience with the Ianite they’d saved in their first lives either, really just causing a bit of mischief whenever she showed her face. Though there was that one time she took the sword Dianite had given him and killed him with it.
Eh, he’d go with Dianite for now. No harm in pretending to join her side and just using it as an excuse to spend more time with Jordan.
It was when Mianite warned them, all of them, of some sort of evil shadowy force that could be in any one of them that Tom gave Dianite’s worries a second thought. Maybe this was what he’d been thinking of? Maybe this evil had gotten it’s grip into Ianite? Should he say something to Jordan?
“Karl?”
“Yeah?”
“Did Mianite, say anything else to you about this evil thing that he didn’t tell us?”
They were sailing together back to their islands after the Mianite Games. Sparklez had flown ahead already, he stashed his elytra in that stupid ender chest and brought it along instead of leaving it behind like they’d been told.
Karl took a moment to reply, a moment too long for his words to be anything but suspicious. “No. Just what he told all of us.”
“Nothing about, Ianite or anything?”
“What do you mean? Why would he talk to me in secret about Jordan’s God?”
Tom frowned, turning back towards the front of the boat. “Nevermind, forget I said anything.”
His suspicions don’t fade, but he hid them well enough, he’d always been a pretty good liar when it actually mattered. Dianite had said nothing to him since before the Trial. He’d said he needed time to figure out what was happening and while Tom did feel a bit abandoned, he didn’t fault the God. He knew his own sister better than Tom did, he would know if she was acting off. So he played his part, gave Ianite the pearls she wanted, knelt before her and pretended to swear his loyalty despite Jordan frowning down at him from her side. For the foreseeable future he wouldn’t destroy anything or kill anyone or cause unnecessary chaos. There were greater things at work that he didn’t know about. Dianite would come back when it was time.
~
“Jordan, you trust me don’t you?” Ianite asked him out of the blue one day. She was sitting on the stairs in his tower, watching as he rummaged and crafted. Hunter, the stray cat that Ianite had adopted (despite it living in Jordan’s home), sat in her lap purring as she stroked it.
“Of course.” Jordan said without looking up from what he was working on.
“I think my brothers are plotting against me.” He paused, pulling back the ingredients he’d been about to mix at his brewing stand.
He turned around to look at her and asked “What do you mean?” confused by why she would say such a thing.
“They’ve stopped speaking to me. But I see them speaking to each other.” Jordan felt a twinge of pity for her, he knew what it felt like to be left out of conversations. Tom and Karl did it often enough, swapping secrets and inside jokes.
“I’m sure it’s nothing milady. They’re your little brothers, little brothers do things like that sometimes. Or so I’ve been told.”
“I’m scared of what they may be planning.” At her admittance, the pity he felt doubled. He set aside the potion and moved to sit on the stairs next to her. “I’m scared of what is to come if they come into their powers.”
He’d told her of the theory he and Tom shared. That they’d come backwards in time to a point where the Gods they would know as powerful had not yet grown into their abilities. She’d asked him endless questions about that life and he’d told her, once she’d shared that she knew some of it already. The Ianite of Ruxomar had told him what would happen when she scattered her quintessence, that she would become one with all her lives across all dimensions and realities. It made sense that this version of her might have glimpses of those other lives. She knew that for Dianite to be defeated in the far-flung future, his evil ended once and for all, she would have to rot in a crystal prison cell for millenia unknown. He would steal her heart and hide it away, leaving her weak and broken, a shell of a Goddess and of herself. It was no wonder that she was worried.
In all likelihood Dianite had already gotten a similar story from Tom about the future where they’d come from and knowing Tom, it did not paint Ianite or Mianite in a very kind way.
“It’ll be alright. The fact that I’m here is proof that it will be. I saved you then and I will do it again. Over and over as many times as I must, in this dimension and all others. You have my word. I swear it to you as your Champion.” He was not often one for physical contact, but hazarded a chance to take one of her hands in his, giving what he hoped was a comforting squeeze.
She smiled and squeezed it back.  “I know you will. You always have. I see the other mortals and I wonder how I got so lucky to have a Champion as loyal as you. I’ve seen into those other worlds, in my dreams. I’ve seen the world where she loved you, where I loved you, well not you but another you.” “Spark. He was called Spark.” he chuckled, explaining to save her the confusion.
“But in that world I saw what became of her after he was gone. The destruction she caused without him by her side. But then she met you, this you. You did so much for her, for us. The others were so cruel to you but you only did what you felt was best and best for her.” He looked away from her then, but did not let go of her hand. He was ashamed of some of the choices he’d made in the name of balance. Cruel, foolish, selfish choices justified by claiming they were for the greater good. “And I was wrong. She-” He swallowed, closing his eyes “-she died. Because I couldn’t help her. Because I wasn’t strong enough.”
“Jordan.” She sighed, looking to him with empathy in her eyes. “It’s not your fault. Such things are bigger than any one man. You did everything you could to help her and keep her safe and happy until it was her time and still even after. But there was nothing more you could have done. It is the nature of fate. We all have our destinies to face. Be they discorporating or spending a thousand years in chains. There is nothing we can do to change them.”
He knew she was right, that they had to simply accept what was to come. He and Tom had discussed it soon after coming to the understanding that they were in the past. They could not tamper too much. Who knew what might happen if they accidentally changed the timeline? But now Jordan was realizing something.
When he arrived on that Island of ‘Mianite’ where Tom and Tucker had decided to create their land, Mianite and Dianite both had been alive and well. Ianite had been the one languishing in a prison at Dianite’s hand, her heart stolen and hidden away. Ianite’s followers had been the ones to die under Furia’s attacks. Ianite’s temple and holy city had been what had burned. Ianite was the one who’d been neglected and forgotten by the brother that was supposed to be the ‘Good Guy’. How in any way was it considered balanced for the Goddess of Balance to undergo such trauma while her brothers went about their lives with leisure? And even in Ruxomar, it had been Ianite who’d sacrificed herself to return the balance to the realm after Mianite and Dianite had sent it into flux. Why was she the one who must always suffer?
“But what if,” Jordan said slowly, the words already tasting treasonous on his tongue, “we changed yours?”
~
When she was a young girl, Ianite had a dream of a crystal castle in the sky. She dreamed of the castle often, of its beautiful impenetrable walls and decoratively barred windows. To a girl it seemed enormous, an endless maze of hallways and corridors. But try as she might, she could never find the door.  As she got older the castle in her dreams grew smaller and smaller until it began to feel not like a palace, but a prison. Burning shackles began appearing on her wrists each night, searing and branding scars upon her skin as she struggled to escape. What had once been a dream became a recurring nightmare.
Mother, despite having never heard Ianite’s dreams, told her bedtime stories of a woman who was locked away in a crystal tower, awaiting rescue from a hero. He would come and it was with only his help that she would come into her own and reach her truest potential. It didn’t take long for Ianite to put the pieces together. This was not a fairy tale, but one of Mother’s visions. It would be her fate to see that dungeon and it was only by surviving that she would grow to become the Goddess she was destined to be.
From that moment on Ianite vowed that she would subvert her fate. She would never lay eyes on that place, not if she had anything to say about it. She may not have access to the fullest extent of her powers but she was still a fledgling Goddess. She would fight tooth and nail to reach the potential that was promised to her, with or without the hero.
Her own visions began after Mother was gone. They were not prophetic, not like Mother’s had been. It took Ianite some time to realize that she was seeing glimpses into other realities. She was always herself, that much she knew, but in every reality things changed. In some she was a Goddess, in others a human, in yet others still she was neither. One of these visions was different from all the others, so much so she was not sure it was the same thing at all.
She was in a cavern lit only by scant torchlight. Before her was a hooded figure, sat at a writing desk. She heard the scratching of a quill on parchment then the tap of the quill being set aside. “I wondered when I might see you.” A man’s voice greeted. He stood and stepped away from the desk, turning to face her. His face was shrouded in darkness in the depth of the hood but still she felt as though she could not break his gaze. “I’m so pleased that you have begun to come into your powers, my daughter.”
“Father?” She’d never known her father. Mother had never spoken of him aside from passing references twisted within her prophecies. She did know enough to know he was powerful, far stronger than she or her brothers. Mother had claimed it was their destiny to defeat him and rid his darkness from the world but only after they reached their fullest potential and strength. A task which could not be accomplished without the help of a mortal hero. Something Ianite was trying to avoid, seeing as it required her to be imprisoned for Gods knew how long.
“You are unhappy with your destiny.” He stated. She said nothing, frightened into silence. She could feel the sheer force of power that radiated from him, dark and roiling like a deep turbulent sea. “No need to speak my child. I know what you seek. It’s why you have come to me. You, a daughter of creation, are scared of a lifetime of suffering and pain. Scared of relying upon another to free you from what would otherwise be an eternal prison.” he turned away, back towards the desk. She saw now that upon it lay a book bound in crimson leather, the ink within still shiny and fresh. “I’m not surprised by your fear, young one. Your Mother, while she possessed a great many qualities, tact was never one of them. But it is no matter. I am able to offer you what you wish. In fact, you could not have arrived at a more opportune time. I have just finished crafting the only spell you will require.”
Wariness filled Ianite, she’d paid attention well in her lessons despite working against her future. She knew that no magic, particularly magic this strong came without a price. If her feelings were correct, this price would be a costly one. But if this were to be her only option, what choice did she have?  She watched as he closed the book then turned it so the spine rested upon the desk. He lifted a candle the color of the deep black void from its holder, tipping it so that wax dripped upon the fore edge and both covers, sealing it shut. He pressed a seal into the cooling wax then laid it back on the desk.
“But, I fear, you are not yet ready for it. A pity, truly.”
“I’m ready.” She’d found her voice but the words did not hold the conviction she had hoped, coming out wavering with nerves.
He didn’t even entertain the thought, scoffing in disappointment. “You are weak. You and your brothers both. I could kill you with a thought. But I will refrain, simply out of interest to see if one day you might be strong enough to tame my magic.” He turned back to her and raised a hand. “We will meet again one day my daughter, and perhaps then you shall impress me.” He flicked a finger and then she was waking up back in her bed.
She had a path now. A goal to strive towards. She would find that book and learn the spell. She would not allow her destiny to come to pass. No matter what it cost.
When the mortals arrived many many years later Ianite was just as surprised as her brothers. Her visions in the days leading up to their arrival had been filled with images of a man who changed little from reality to reality. In one he was her husband, in another her caretaker, her knight, her son, her servant, her confidant, many things but always close and always trusted beyond measure.  When she opened her eyes in that temple, he was before her and suddenly she understood what the visions had been trying to show her. He was the hero from Mother’s prophecies. He was the one who was destined to save her from that crystal prison. He was not just her hero in that time but in all times, he was her Champion. Her one true follower.
She got to know him over the next weeks. He was clever, shy, funny, strong, quiet, patient, driven, level headed. She enjoyed simply speaking with him of everything and nothing. It was during one of their conversations that she learned of the life he’d lived before this one, of the world of far advanced magic and technology. It fascinated her to hear the details from a world she’d only seen glimpses of, but this led him to admit that that world had not been the first. That was when the theory he and the Zombie shared came to light. She understood then, he came from the future Mother had prophesied. A future where Ianite had been unable to accomplish her goals. They’d not yet figured out why they’d come back in time but it was then that Ianite’s plan became clear.
It was with his help that she would finally accomplish what she’d worked for almost her entire life. She’d felt her strength growing with each day she spent with him, with him at her side she would return to her Father’s temple and find the spell that would free her from her destiny once and for all.
She got her first peek of what potential her Champion had when the Zombie renounced Dianite. Jordan didn’t entertain even a scrap of belief that it was the truth, his cleverness turning calculating in a single moment. She felt his anger when she gave Syndicate a chance, saw the building fury in his eyes when she insinuated her faith may be placed in the newcomer. Yes, her Captain, while clearly a kind and good man at heart, had the potential to be the knight and warrior she needed him to be.
Her reassurances that his loyalty to her was not misplaced and that he would always be her favored champion were enough to calm his frustration with her but did nothing to temper his suspicions towards Syndicate. He stood at her side with his sword drawn as she formally accepted Dianite’s Fallen Champion, ice in his eyes. He was not happy about this, not at all. For what it was worth, she wasn’t either. It had been far too abrupt a shift to be anything but on purpose. Dianite had something in the works.
She’d heard nothing from either brother for weeks, since before the mortals had arrived. She was under no impression that they did not both have plans of their own. She doubted they had the conviction she did however. They had very little to avoid in their futures, perhaps Dianite may fear giving into his chaotic nature but Mianite had nothing to be concerned about. She was the only one of the three with such high stakes. Which was why she was the one who must be the strongest. If either of them were able to over power her they would put a stop to her plans. If she changed the future for herself it would most certainly change it for them as well. She had to contain and surpass them before they could do the same to her. She did not think they knew exactly what her goal was, did not know of the existence of Father’s spell, but she had no way to know for sure. It was the reason she’d accepted Syndicate’s fealty. Let Dianite think he had her fooled, a man who thought his actions were going to plan was a man who let his guard down.
She did learn another important lesson about her hero during this endeavor.  Even in his anger, he remained far too good a man to willingly go against his friends or the other Gods. She had his loyalty but how far would that last if she asked him to take up arms against the others? No, if everything she’d heard of his past dealings with the other versions of herself was true, asking him outright to do anything of that nature would go against his sensibilities. She had to approach this a different way. Slowly, patiently, carefully she would get him more used to who she was in this time. She was not the scorned woman she was destined to become, nor was she the desperate pivot of balance in a world crumbling to ruin. She, this younger version of herself aiming to change the future, was the Goddess of all facets of Balance. She was a Goddess of Justice and of Vengeance. Justice for herself and the suffering she was fated to endure. Vengeance against the brother who would lock her in that cage and the brother who would do nothing while she faced millenia of torment. For in her Captain’s timeline, such a thing had already occurred. That was reason enough to get her revenge.
His loyalty to her would be the factor that led to her triumph. The lives he’d lived prior to this would be all she needed to convince him to see her side. Surely a loyal man such as him would not want to see her suffer. Surely he would not want to send her to that fate when he knew even more of what had happened than she herself currently did. The guilt he felt for ‘failing’ the last Ianite he had served would only aid her now. A man presented with a chance for penance would almost always seize it. She just had to get him to agree.
~
“But what if,” Jordan said slowly, tentatively, well aware that what he was saying was not what he should be suggesting , “we changed yours?”
“Jordan, what are you saying?” Ianite asked, pouring sweet and sickly innocence onto her voice. “We can’t change the future. It’s not right.”
“Neither was Dianite locking you in that prison for who even knows how long.” His voice was gaining certainty as he looked up from his hands and to her. “We have a chance to keep you from living through that. What if that was why I was sent back to this time? To prevent that from ever happening?”
“None of the others will allow it. My brothers want that future. They want a future where they are strong.” “But why do you have to suffer so they have the chance?” There is was, the spark of anger in his eyes when faced with injustice. She’d seen it for more mild matters before but it was exactly what she’d hoped to bring forth. Weeks of subtle manipulation and reinforcing her own views of balance were coming to fruition. “Who decided that you were the one who had to lose so that they could win?”
“It’s no one’s choice. It simply is. My Mother’s prophecy saw what must happen. The three of you heroes are to lead us to our fates and our truest strength, for my brothers it occurs now, for me it is once you return my heart to me.”
His eyes narrowed in determination and he squeezed her hand again, getting to his feet.
“Good thing I’ve never put much stake in prophecies.”

I’m Sorry, My Dears (Part 4/?)
When they had stepped through the portal, they noticed something...off about the prison.
Where it had once been a red and gold hallway with dim lighting and puzzles to find the new exit, they instead landed in a grand hall with arches ceilings made of obsidian and the walls lined with impossibly dark blocks. It was lit with deep purple torches that made their shadows stretch and contort into inhuman shapes. The hall was deathly silent with only the sounds of their breathing, shuffling, and footfalls to fill the silence.
Karl, ever the optimistic one, broke the silence. “Well, this is lovely, isn’t it?”
He spoke at a normal volume but his voice echoed all throughout the hall. Tom and Karl seemed to have the same idea and spun around to face each other with huge grins on their faces. The gods knew where this was going but were too slow to stop the inevitable. The hall was filled with ‘REEEEeeeEeeEeE’ as the two champions screamed at the top of their lungs to hear the echoes bounce off the walls and ceiling.
Dec, understanding the importance of being quiet, was frantically trying to tell them to “be quiet guys please you are going to get us killed!” and other things along those lines. He was, of course, ignored.
Mianite put his face in his hands and heaved a deep sigh. Why was he hopeful that they could take this seriously? Really, he should’ve known. He pulled his hands away from his face and watched as Karl laughed at Tom, who was trying not to pass out from screaming. He did love his champions laugh and while he enjoyed seeing him having fun, Ianite and Dianite would rip his head off if he encouraged them. He rarely chatted with the Captain, but he knew from what his Champion has described that he is deeply humble and kind, but is also dangerous and ruthless with his enemies. If they manage to get him back, he would like to get to know the Captain better.
Ianite has never been more disappointed in her life. Well, there were some other things, but this had to be up there on the list. She watched as Tom lunged at Karl for laughing at him, but Karl dodged and ran away while yelling “it isss what it isss” and the two dissolve into laughter. She was grateful for the Priest trying to force them to cooperate....even if just for a little bit because now he is also chuckling, but she expected more from them considering they know that their friend may be in serious danger. She felt frustration bubble in her chest. What did the Captain ever do to deserve this fate? Guilt played at her mind—she had to calm down before she incinerated one of them, then the Captain would never forgive her. She couldn’t live with that on her conscience.
Dianite was torn between reveling in the chaos unfolding around him and forcing the champions to be quiet on concentrate on their mission. While he hadn’t seen Tom this carefree and happy in a while—it made him happy to see him enjoying himself—now was really not the time for fooling around. In the past, he loved watching the three of them squabble, laugh, and confuse their enemies with their carefree nature, but that was with Jordan. Jordan, who could help them fight better as a team. Jordan, who had their backs. Jordan, who helped them out of sticky situations. Who would help them now? He’s barely holding himself together with Jordan’s disappearance (he misses him so much); he couldn’t handle having his champion ripped away from him as well. And he knew for a fact that Mianite couldn’t either. And Ianite? She would be beside herself with guilt if all things went to shit. And so, he pushed down his chaotic nature to address the champions and bring—he shivered and nearly gagged—order to their actions.
Dianite turned towards the zombie, who was happily chatting with Dec and Karl trying to formulate a plan, when he abruptly stopped talking and doubled over. Lava began dripping from his mouth as his god punished him for being reckless in an urgent situation. His friends, while startled at first, recovered and tried to soothe him and tell him it would be ok, but what came from Tom were choked noises and gasping breaths.
Dianite turned towards Mianite as his eyes glowed red. “Will you not punish him, brother? He is also making a mockery of the situation. We don’t have time for this. His voice deepened and warped like the nether portal itself. Though he spoke calmly, his rage cut through the other five beings.
“No, brother.” Mianite responded. “I won’t punish him. He’s done nothing to warrant my wrath. While they haven’t taken the situation seriously, I don’t see why you couldn’t have just told the zombie to stop fooling around. No need for,” he gestured wildly towards Tom with his hand, “this.”
Mianite looked back at Karl who was trying to keep a nearly unconscious Tom speaking. The caveman was telling jokes and wild stories with a strained smile but was close to tears as the stress of watching a friend lose a battle got to him. Karl sensed his god looking at him and looked up. He glanced at Mianite with a desperate expression—a plea to help—and turned to Dianite.
The caveman’s face contorted in anger and he was about to yell something in the defense of his friend, when he was silenced as well. He may have not been a follower of Dianite, but he was a mortal and the Chaos god didn’t want to hear him yelling any more than he already has.
Mianite whipped his head around back towards him. “How dare you do that to MY Champion?!” He yelled and allowed Karl to speak again.
“Karl, please try to keep the zombie conscious,” is all he said. The caveman nodded and rubbed his throat. He decided he hated that sensation of whatever Dianite did to his voice. Karl knew that they shouldn’t have yelled and fooled around but it’s how they cope with tough situations to make it more enjoyable and cut the tension. Did they really think he and Tom were wasting time? Well....they were but dammit these missions can’t all just be doom and gloom. Tom had been down for days now and wanted to cheer him up. Hell, Karl himself hadn’t felt right in a while and just wanted this mission to be as it normally was with laughing and screaming and fooling around. He knew Jordan was tough and a few minutes of fooling around wouldn’t hurt him....right?
Dianite didn’t cease his punishment but a grin snuck onto his face. “What, you wouldn’t punish your Champion when he’s done wrong? How cowardly. You like him or something?” He teased. While his tone was light his words promised hurt.
Mianite turned red and poked Dianite in the chest. “Don’t you even think about-“
“Boys!” Ianite scolded. They looked towards her, the older sister, like the younger brothers they were and they are in trouble. However, this time, she looked pissed instead of disappointed.
“Dianite, quite punishing the zombie boy, he hasn’t done anything else wrong than the caveman.” She ordered.
“But—“ Dianite began.
“Do not argue with me right now Dianite or I swear to mom you will regret it.” She angrily stated.
“And Mianite will you stop provoking them into these foolish acts? I saw you smiling; we are in a dire situation here and you all are acting like petulant children? Can we all focus here please?” She ranted. Ianite inhaled and exhaled slowly.
Tom was slowly regaining strength as his punishment stopped and her brothers settled into a strained peace. The three mortals turned towards her. Karl dipped his head and thanked her while apologizing for causing a scene. Ianite nodded down at him.
“You are lucky they didn’t send guards of any sort down here to see what all the noise was.” She said like a mother to a child. Karl nodded guiltily but there was a thoughtful look on his face. It was kind of suspicious there were no guards coming down here wasn’t it? It doesn’t matter now, they had to move forward if they wanted to find Jordan.
“As for you, my dear zombie,” she placed her hand on his shoulder and gave him renewed strength for the journey, “ I don’t believe you deserved that punishment, but we cannot fool around any longer. Understood? Your friend’s life is on the line.” Ianite said firmly.
Tom slowly stood up, shaking slightly but otherwise ok. He nodded at Ianite, not trusting how raspy his voice probably sounded, but still thanked her.
“Thank you, Lady Ianite. I’m sorry about that. Won’t happen again, I promise.” He said as cheerily as possible though the effect was ruined by the grimace on his face. He absentmindedly rubbed at his throat. It had been a while since he had been punished by Dianite, but he deserved it, didn’t he? Guilt crept into his chest and added to the burning in his throat. What if they had just doomed Jordan? Why did he have to be so nonchalant about these situations? This wasn’t just another mission from the gods, this is truly a life or death situation and they may have ruined it!
If they did, Tom wouldn’t be able to cope with that and as he looks at Karl to make sure he is ok, he knows that Karl wouldn’t be able to either.
“Karl, buddy, I think we should hold off on the screamin and partyin till we get Jordan back, yeah? It just doesn’t feel the same.” Tom suggested. While it may have seemed like an offhand comment, they both knew the meaning.
We don’t have time to waste. We have to focus and concentrate else we lose a friend. And we both can’t handle it if it’s our fault we were too late.
“Sure Tom, I agree with ya. We can fool around later and shove our love for cappy in his face when we get him.” Casual words from Karl but an agreement to Tom’s suggestion. They both couldn’t back out now.
Tom smiled and patted Karl’s shoulder. “Glad we’re in agreement, buddy.” He turned to Dec. “Alright mister Priest, which way should we head?” he asked.
“Well, er, I’m not actually sure. I’ve never been here before.” He admitted. He may be the Priest but he wasn’t a mastermind. He ignored Tom’s shout of ‘wot’ in the back and asked the gods if they knew where to go and they also replied negatively. Great, so they were now lost in a dangerous dimension with a dangerous enemy and a friend in danger. How quiant.
“Maybeeeee we should just start walking?” He suggested. It was the only thing they could do really.
“Good plan Dec. See, this is why you’re the Priest. You come up with great ideas and tell cool stories. Gotta love it man.” Tom praised and began to follow Dec. The others followed as well.
For a short while, they walked in silence until:
“Oi! Is this a door?” Karl exclaimed. He was looking to his right near the wall.
“It is.” Dec said and walked towards it. “Good work, Karl.” He praised.
“‘Course bro. I got eyes like a hawk.” He joked and winked at Dec.
“Pfffttt yeah more like a squirrel.” Tom countered with a snicker.
“Boys!” Ianite, once again scolded. The two apologized and sobered quickly.
The door was pitch black and seemed to suck all of the little light out of the room. The shadows twisted and curled around it like smoke. It had no design on it, and looked like a part of the wall except for a small cat insignia on the handle. Dec pushed it open. In front of them was a small, well-lit hallway with a gold and red carpet and quartz walls. Sea lanterns lit the hallway and they could see another door at the end.
“Alright guys, let’s go.” Dec stated and they began to walk forward once more. Before they could get to the door, however, a figure barged through and quickly closed the door behind them while shielding it with their body. Their clothes were rumpled and torn and they were breathing shakily as if they were in pain. Their whole body shook with exhaustion.
The rescue team instantly recognized this man.
“JordANNNNNNNN!” Came two simultaneous yells. Tom and Karl ran forward to hug the Captain while the other four hung back. They were cautious and wary of him. He just....didn’t seem right.
Jordan expression changed to one of utter relief and he slumped against the door as the two crushed him in a hug. Tears came to their eyes as they reunited with their friend.
While it was a touching moment, they had to get going. Ianite cleared her throat.
“Unfortunately, this dimension only allows beings to enter at their will, not exit. We will need to find our own way out.” She turned towards her Champion with an almost convincing smile of sincerity. Almost. They couldn’t tell if Jordan fell for it or not but for their safety, they hoped he did.
“My Champion, it is wonderful to see you and I apologize for taking so long to come rescue you. We hope you can forgive us.” She asked. Her body was relaxed but her eyes were tense. She didn’t know what Jordan was capable of or what state he was in, but she knew he was dangerous.
The Captain released himself from the hug and turned to Ianite. He smiled at her with his eyes closed and body relaxed when he addressed the other four.
“I can’t say how relieved I am to see you guys. I really am.” He smiled wider. His shadow stretched farther up on the door behind him. “And Lady Ianite, it’s alright, I’m just glad you came to find me.”
He looked over her shoulder to see Dec and the two other gods. His smiled dropped for a millisecond before it returned but his eyes became cold.
“And you brought the whole crew, I see. Dec, I hope you didn’t worry about me too much.” He said in a teasing tone. Dec smiled at him and forced a chuckle, but said nothing. Jordan spared a glance at Mianite but his eyes lingered on Dianite before he turned back to his friends.
Dianite knew that this was not his Captain but dammit it didn’t hurt any less when he said nothing to him and looked at him as if they were distant friends. He hoped they weren’t too late. He watched him converse with the other two champions. Tom and Karl suspected nothing which would put them in danger and make it harder for them to battle if it came to that. He glanced at Ianite. She was worrying her lip as she, too, watched them converse and knew she was worried for their safety as well.
There was nothing they could do now except play their parts and let Jordan play his. They spared a glance at Dec. His face was unreadable but he was watching the Captain like a hawk. They knew the Priest would fight to protect the other two, even if it meant harming Jordan in the process. Their thoughts were interrupted by Jordan.
“Guys, as much as I love this, I think we should get out of here before we get unalived by something. When I was running here, there was a different hallway out this door so I think we could check out what’s down there?” He suggested while pointing behind him.
“Sure thing Jordan!” and “Lead the way Cap!” came from his friends as they followed him through the door. The Captain’s shadow disappeared through the door and into the hallway. The other four hesitated and Jordan shot them an odd look that made them follow him through the door.

The End of Days
Im a baby and am scared to post anything, but I also want more people to see the things I am creative about so here's a thing because I just really think Dianite and Jordan are just so neat
There is music playing somewhere and he can’t really place where it is coming from but he does know that it's nice and Ianite is singing along to it as she gets up to get another drink.
“Could you grab me one as well?”
She rolls her eyes and smiles at him, “I’ll think about it.”
“I just saved the world, I think I deserve one more,” Jordan shoots her a smile and she rolls her eyes again, walking away.
He watches her go, and it hits him for the first time this time she isn’t gone across the universe or even disappeared and how comforting it is to be at her side at the end of the days. The familiarity and consistency of her magic and her presence. He could understand why Spark would want to permanently be with her. She is home in so many ways.
Then Dianite is standing in front of him, the one he remembers. Red skin, dark horns protruding out of his temples, and a tail swishing behind him. He looks like he wants to say something but can’t seem to get it out. So Jordan just stares at him, lost on why the god of Chaos is standing in front of him, looking like he is thinking way too much to be good for him
“Would you maybe want to...” and his hand outreaches to Jordan and he is looking everywhere but Jordan’s face, then it clicks.
“Are you asking me to dance?” Jordan looks up at him and smirks at a now even redder Dianite.
“You could say that,” Dianite said finally looking at Jordan, which caused his heart to race. He wasn’t expecting the vulnerably in the gods eyes or even the biting at the inside of his cheek. “Well?”
“Alright, I’ve not nothing to lose so why not,” and Jordan takes his hand and Dianite pulls him up, and without thinking once Jordan stands his hand doesn’t leave Dianite’s. He can feel the roughness and heat of his palm and his magic envelopes both of them.
For fucks sake would you two go dance already? Ianite’s voice is in his head and he looks over at her with a confused look which she just rolls her eyes and gestures to the dance floor with her head. ‘Don’t worry I’ll keep your drink safe’ she mouths.
When he looks back at Dianite, he is sending a very dirty look in his sister’s direction and she just smiles and walks to a dessert table, and then their eyes meet again and Jordan is once again aware of the fact that he is holding the god of Chaos’s hand with his friends watching and his lady tell him to go dance with another god.
His eyes dart down to their hands and then back up at Dianite who is now just staring at their fingers intertwined. He lets out a little giggle before softly saying, “Let’s go, Captain”
Dianite tugs on his hand and Jordan, still confused, stubbles after him, hand in hand. This feeling is making his head spin on how much it feels so right. He was meant to be Ianite’s he knows that from the very start of this whole thing, he is meant to be balanced for his friends, but maybe in a different world, maybe even a different him, there could have been something, anything between them.
He hates that thought because he doesn’t want to hurt Tom and get in between their relationship, but this just feels so right.
Its staggering.
And frightening, even more so.
Dianite pulls him to the center of the dance floor, and rests his hands, shaking, on Jordan’s hips. They are facing each other and its almost if Dianite didn’t expect to get this far, with him in his space, them basically breathing the same air.
“Is this okay?” Dianite manages to ask.
“Yeah, it's fine. So you’re leading?” Jordan doesn’t know why but he says it just above a whisper as if he couldn’t say it any louder because if he did, the world would break in half.
“Are you okay with that? You can lead if you-” Dianite starts to pull his hands away and Jordan in a split second, puts them back on his hips, and as he slowly lifts them off Dianite’s hands, he wraps his arms around Dianite’s neck. Loose and relaxed trying to ease the tension coming off of him in waves.
“It's fine,” Jordan says again his voice hardly above a whisper, as he takes a step closer because you can’t dance when you’re separated. He can see the small crinkles around the young god’s eyes and he thinks back to the Dianite he first met and the one he left. How would they have looked from this closeup? The same, or would they have more wrinkles than Jordan could smooth out with his now, very worn hands.
The violin is slowly playing in the background as they start to sway slowly with the music, and in a bold move, Jordan closes any excess distance between them, because no matter how hard he tries he is constantly drawn in by him.
He leans his head on Dianite’s shoulder and slides his hands down to rest on the lapels of Dianite’s suit coat, smoothing them as he brings his hands down. He rolls his head to looking down at their feet and Dianite is trying hard not to tense under his touch. “Is this okay?”
“I think so,” Dianite croaks out and takes a deep breath. Jordan can feel the air fill and leave his lungs with the expanding of his chest, and a smile is on his face.
“I am really glad you are still here,” Jordan says lifting his head from Dianite’s shoulder and looking at him in the eyes.
“Trust me when I say, I am too,” Dianite lets out a very lopsided grin and it makes Jordan’s face warm and gives a small grin in return.

From Way High Up - The Thoughts of Ianite
Ianite’s thoughts while writing the short book to Jordan, from S2. (Wanted to write some fluff, this story seemed to be the fluffiest thing I could make)
SPARKLEZ!
A burst of joy and relief filled her heart. Hours of work, gathering and plucking strands of her consciousness to form a connection had finally shown a result.
Her heart was overflowing, she was giddy in her happiness.
You wouldn't believe the things I've seen. Or maybe you would. What do I know?
She felt as though she could giggle. A goddess, giggling. Who could have thought it? She hadn’t giggled for what felt like a millennia. Maybe in other worlds, in other lives, she was giggling at that moment.
Worlds upon worlds of wonder have embraced my many selves. I'm living a thousand lives at once.
Sights flashed before her eyes, sprawling cities, a young infant toddling along, sweetly chirping birds, roaring waterfalls.
And those are just the lives I'm aware of. For instance, in a place called Middle Earth I am reborn a beautiful elf queen. And under the ice shield of a moon called Europa I am a strand of plankton. And in a world we both know well, I'm a bunch of little girls who look just like me, and maybe other things too...
Her words seemed to fail her, as she struggled to say what she wanted. She had only a moment to speak to her champion, her man, her son, her everything.
Anyway, my umbrella consciousness has reformed for just a moment; my caretaker, in his mercy, has allowed me to show you these things.
Her resolve strengthened as the words she needed came to her in a rush.
But you definitely won't believe the most amazing thing I've seen. Lately I've been looking through a window... A window into bygone years. A man sits in front of a screen, speaking his soul to the world while playing a game. I think I know who he is!
A warmth filled her, recalling the moment she had recognized the man. The joy, pure joy she had felt in that moment. A joy she hadn’t felt since long before her quintessence was released.
I see this man forming friendships with those who also speak to the world. I know who they are too. They project themselves as tiny box figures into a world made of boxes. It's so much less detailed than the world where the man and his friends sit. I would not have known Ruxomar and its sister dimensions to be so childlike in appearance except by this contrast!
She had been confused and fascinated by this tiny world, the way in which her familiar home had been shrunken into the glowing screen. The sight of her brothers, small and weak in appearance had made her laugh when she first saw them.
The days go on as the friends play. The boxlike world is ruled by two gods. Of course I know who they are. The man is faced with a choice between the two. His life is riddled with choices! And like the stubborn idealist he is, he carves out a middle path. He'll take neither god. He'll have a goddess all to his own.
She paused, her heart swelling with a strange melancholy as she bit back the tears threatening to spill down her cheeks.
He created me.
A man named Jordan Maron created the goddess Ianite in a world beyond worlds. And Jordan Maron looks just like you. He is one of your countless alternate selves. He looks so much less boxy! I think that if I did not already know you and Spark so well, I would call him my favorite version.
It was the truth. The man she saw, he had a sense of... connectedness about him. It was as though he was Spark, Sparklez, and all other alternates while just being... him. The moment she saw him, it wasn’t like when she met her other champions. No, it was like meeting an old friend again.
Now I grasp the truth I have been seeking all my life. I have see what is above gods. It is ____________.
A surge of frustration filled her as the words seemed to dissolve as she wrote them. But she couldn't worry about that, she already felt the tug of the worlds around her, threatening to pull her form apart at any moment.
My umbrella consciousness won't hold much longer. Let me say a few choice words before the final goodbye between this version of you and this version of me. Thank you for choosing to create me. I believe that had the other you not made that choice in that far off world, none of my present selves would exist. In a strange sense, you are my god.
She could imagine her brothers' expressions had she told them that, the little nose wrinkle Mianite would do, the way Dianite would purse his lips. It was strange, she could see them in such clarity, yet she couldn't remember the last time she gave them a hug, the last time she spoke to them.
Thank you for believing in your creation enough to make it real. Thank you for continuing to love me and make choices for my wellbeing. I hope another you loves another me in another world soon.
Her thoughts wandered to another version of her champion, the familiar green glasses, the sweet smile he always had for her. The pain of realizing she would never be at his side again, be held in his arms again, it never quite faded.
If Jordan looks out the window one of these days, he might be able to see me.
Not even creeping. Just fyi.
A smile tugged at her lips as she scribbled the words down, feeling her form starting to erode away.

god reversal au:
ia mia and dia would suck at working together. having to overcome personal grievances is going to take forever, especially if they’re all pranking each other. ianite champion of balance is definitely not siding with either of her brothers. r.i.p gods of fortune neither of you are getting saved in a timely manner.
Oh oh oh, you are so right about this.
Ia, Mia, and Dia are so well practised at pushing each other’s buttons and the moment gods and pranks start getting involved, they are almost immediately at each other’s throats.
It isn’t quite them constantly killing each other, but they are definitely at the point of considering it.
Oh and you’re definitely right about Ianite not siding with either of her brothers. She is way too fed up with the two of them to play peacekeeper and she absolutely is not helping either one of them when she falls victim to way too many of their idiotic ideas.
There is a moment where both Mianite and Dianite assume she’s going to team up with Mianite (and in turn Tucker). Namely when Tom ‘confesses’ to killing Redbeard and imprisoning Capsize. Since it really seems like teaming up with Mia against Dia to bring down the evil Tom and help restore balance would be the logical plan. But she looks at Mianite with his wooden sword and decides she’s better off on her own.
And Capsize and Redbeard are absolutely not being helped in a timely manner. The main influence for them working towards the goal at all is Sonja basically pointing them in the right direction (though she can’t directly say anything, because goddess of secrets). And (later) the pressing need to do something because the bad luck plague starts rapidly getting worse as time moves on.
(details under the read more - I got ready into the two events that Sonja nudged into happening)
Them all finding out about Capsize and Red is actually due to uncharacteristic working together. Sonja had dropped a hint of there being a treasure in the far reaches of the end so the three were saying they were competing to find it first. But in reality, they were just having some fun exploring together for once.
They think they’re getting pretty close when they reach an end city that looks quite unique - with symbols of balance that don’t look like Jordan’s and pirate flags. So clearly whatever rare treasure Sonja was alluding to is here.
While exploring, Ianite starts to get an odd headache and swears that she can hear someone calling to her, though the city is definitely abandoned.
The treasure (my head has no ideas what it actually is rn) is in a small temple. Ianite finds it first, with Dia and Mia hot on her heels. She grabs the treasure, then immediately hears a woman’s and a man’s pained screams and the three of them get blasted with the vague visions of Capsize’s imprisonment and Redbeard’s death.
Regardless of their disagreements at that point, they agree to truce for the rest of the day to figure out who the hell they just got visions of and learn of the lost deities of fortune from scripture and other more general books around the city.
The sky cage starts when tensions are already a lot higher.
Tom has confessed a number of weeks ago now but it’s also become obvious that he’s just saying this to cause chaos and he has started quite legitimately accusing Jordan and Tucker. So Dia has been actively fighting with his siblings on the daily.
Mia has been actively fighting Dia, not because Tucker wants him too (though he definitely does). He simply thinks that supporting murder and wrongful imprisonment is too far even for his brother and is fed up with him acting like an evil villain.
Ianite is trying to figure out leads by herself, mostly because she’s starting to have dreams of a woman calling out to her from somewhere far beyond her reach. But her brothers aren’t helping, and neither is Jordan. If anything Jordan is actively hindering by getting her to spy on one of her brothers or even one of the other gods whenever she's actually making progress on a lead.
But all of the messiness comes to a head when all three of the siblings are actively arguing, and their gods appear with an unnatural storm brewing above them. And it feels like war between the gods might actually be breaking out.
Then, suddenly, Sonja appears and attempts to talk them all out of it. Reminding them that their friends need their help and if they go to war whoever imprisoned Capsize will just use her power of fortune to win and she’ll never be free.
Tucker suggests that Sonja doesn’t want them to fight because she worked with Tom to imprison Capsize, an idea which Jordan proceeds to jump on. Sonja gets a dark look that none of the champions have ever seen on her. A dark energy comes off her and blasts the three other gods. She speaks with an impossible number of voices, saying that if they're going to blame her rather than even consider working together, she'll steal the secrets out of them to help her friends that way.
Suddenly tosses books at the three champions. She says that now they each have the location of Capsize’s prison.
Ia, Mia, and Dia start racing. Like literally, they have no idea which god has done this or frankly have any idea what their siblings would do if they reached the cage first. So they need to get to the prison first.
Ianite doesn’t know what miracle gets her there minutes ahead of her brothers. She can see a cage in the sky and she just builds up to it with adrenaline keeping her going. But the cage is empty.
“If you find this, know I am alive. I will appear when I am needed, but there is someone I must find. - Capsize.”
Ianite, lost in confusion and hearing her brothers starting to build their way up, touches the bars that had been imprisoning the goddess. And immediately collapses as she’s given a full force flash of Capsize’s memories of her brother’s death - a memory that happened after she was already imprisoned.
All Ia can say to her brothers when she wakes up is a quiet mutter that they got the order of events wrong as she can feel the effects of having a heart removed and the shattering of someone who her very being is connected with reverberate through her body in a terrible ghostly way.
And while I would like to say that gets them working together - I think we all know it doesn’t. But for the briefest amount of time, Capsize is free and she's getting her own damn help.

Ramble for a bit about Ianite and Capsize!
I think the likelihood of Capsize winning a 1v1 is actually really low, but she probably didn’t find herself in a lot of those by the way she presents herself as someone who could win. Her penchant for violence helps a lot with that image. Capsize is not only a pirate, but a captain of a whole crew of them. She understands how helpful it can be to have people that have your back and have a wide variety of skills to utilize in different scenarios. She’s a good strategist, but in a fight that’s just her (depending on the opponent) she’ll either lose outright or it’d be a waiting game of who’s got the most stamina.
Ianite made the right call to put more focus and effort in communicating with her people rather than her champion. The close connection with Capsize definitely led to jealousy to stew between the other captains of Ianeria, leading to Capsize’s distrust of other Ianitee captains, then to her outright refusal in having Jordan as her co-captain. I don’t think Capsize could ever be scared of Ianite, they’ve gotten too close over the course of however long they’ve known each other. If Capsize wants to befriend Dianite’s Champion she will and Ianite will, to her distaste, deal with it. HOWEVER! Capsize is scared of how her people will react and she will play within the rules of her society because she’s scared of those consequences (getting exiled). She’ll defend Tom to Ianite for sure, other Ianitees?…probably not.
Season 1 Ianite looks inwards while season 2 Ianite looks outward. S1 Ianite pays more care and attention to her people and the happenings of the world while her counterpart continues to have her head in the clouds of any world other than her own and the what ifs and the possibilities. Ultimately, both of their towns fall, neither with the capability (s1 Ianite physical means and s2 Ianite emotional means) to stop that from happening.
