Calling all Gilmore Girls fans! 📣 Find all 11 seasons (Yes, Eleven!) in this puzzle. The trick? Each season is made up of 8 emojis representing story points in the order of when they happened. Do you have enough coffee to help you figure this out? ☕️ You better get to brewing! 👇
Here is your clue to find SEASON 6:
June 3rd is the perfect date to make an appearance. Lorelai is missing her best friend, so she focuses on another. Rory becomes Emily’s insider at the DAR, spying on all the gossipers. Then comes the 21st, but it isn’t how she imagined it... not until she and her mom make it right on the second row of the Taj Mahal. Then comes Rory’s takeover of Paris, and she isn’t thrilled by the news. A romantic trip to the coast is planned—and a delicious meal, too. Freeze-dried spaghetti is not going to cut it. Lorelai usually knows how to paint the perfect party, but this time it backfires.

Oh, and Happy June 3rd! 😉🌟 IYKYK

If Sean Gunn had more guts he would lock Amy Sherman Palladino and James Gunn in a room and not let them out until they had written the wackiest, wordiest yet somehow completely logical Gilmore Girls x Guardians crossover short of our until now unknown dreams

The ending of the Marvelous Mrs Maisel was nice but as the last few minutes showed old Midge I was just left wondering... What was the point?
I don’t fully understand the message of the show. Yes, Midge has repeatedly put her career above other aspects of her life, the show was about her chasing success yet... we leave her very much starting and not at the peak of her success and we see her again after her peak. So... what was the point? The final stand-up seemed to switch her motivations, especially regarding her children, suddenly, she gives up on parenting them and accepts the “bad mother” title, which carries no weight because of the flash-forwards we saw previously.
The center of everything being the relationship between Midge and Susie was nice, but the flash forwards that have all that conflict seem to mean nothing in the end nor does the joel going to jail bit. I feel like nothing happened this season, Midge was trapped in the writer's room and learned nothing there because as far as we see even up until the end she’s still not landing a lot of jokes or getting more recognition.
Other seasons built up her work on her stand up, we saw her work on her act and figure out jokes, this season we saw her, yes, fight in a male-dominated scenario but I didn’t see her progress or face that challenge and overcome it, she simply adapted and left it aside. Even had tantrums.
All the other strings were just left there, not that it is relevant but it never made sense to me that Midge would have tons and tons of _husbands_ after we saw her relationships with the doctor and Lenny (no point in that first scene either which makes me MAD). Joel was left kinda stuck between building his clubs and his father’s impending retirement, we got to see the children in the future being basically miserable and had no resolution either way.  I love the show and the characters and the performances, this season the writing was simply weak and a touching finale did not land because it was built on dodgy foundations.

The only award that ever bothered me was I just thought Lauren Graham was so exceptional and the work that she did on that show was so hard. She was doing something no one else was doing, especially at that time, with being as funny as she was with her amazing acting and driving this show home. I just always felt like her not getting acknowledged will be something that bothers me for the rest of my life.

I’d have to say one of my favorites scenes in Gilmore Girls is when Richard realizes they committed a huge mistake by the way they’ve been treating Rory. The entire scene from him with Mitchum, finally learning the truth (and for once in their life believing Lorelai, their own daughter), to Emily destroying Shira and the final look from Richard when he sees his granddaughter on that stage, becoming someone she wasn’t, being on the wrong path, he finally understands. He realizes this was way bigger than taking some time of Yale, than a stupid misunderstanding. He sees that Rory is lost on herself, in life, that she’s fading into someone else, that what he did helped her go deeper into the worm hole and that she’s not coming out of it by herself, ‘cause she’s too afraid to leave, she won’t leave by her own awakening. The anger on his face, goes to sadness and disappointment, not on Rory, but on himself. They’ve failed, once again.
Richard’s love for Rory wasn’t the same as Emily’s. Emily saw Rory as a second chance for the perfect daughter, she looks desperate to have that, she simply can’t see her granddaughter beyond the idea she’s put in her head of what she should be like. Meanwhile, Richard sees Rory for who she is. That’s the reason why he gets so depressed and Emily stays in denial, he knows Rory and that isn’t her. Richard wanted the best for her and wanted her to stay the same smart, literate, caring girl he knew, but now he sees she’s becoming a “trophy-wife” that plans parties and frivolous affairs (Emily), and that isn’t his Rory.
The beginning of season six was highly entertaining, because we finally see the elderly Gilmore realize that if he keeps on trying to create schemes so that they can have the daughter they’ve always wanted, he will lose the granddaughter they already have!
