One of two new norn. I don't have a problem.

Kristin didn't feel connected to any "regular" spirit of the wild, so when she was old enough she went off adventuring. Leaving the snowy mountains, she headed west to the maguuma. A few months spent with the Sylvari she felt *something* but it wasn't quite it, so deeper west, into the jungle she went. This was it, the Spirit of the Jungle, this is where she'd find her purpose.

Five or so years before the events of the personal story, Kritsin took root in the jungle. With time, she learned to communicate with the native Itzel and Nuhoch there, and she found her new home in Verdant Brink.

While the Itzel worship Ameyalli as the spirit and purpose of the jungle, Kristin doesn't like to name her spirit guide as such, keeping the formality of just "The Jungle Spirit" or "The Spirit of the Jungle"

Sino me amaba, si se iba, me dejaría con un tormento, que sería incapaz de vencer, y me rendiría ante ella, incluso si eso significaba ver como otras manos, la acariciaran, otros labios, la besaran, pero sobre todo otros oídos que la escucharan, el cual se había convertido en mi mas grande placer. 2. Who is your best friend? Tell us about them!

Nisha smiles. "Assuming we are excluding my brother and my partners from 'best friend' status, that would be Cio. We met during my stay with the Priory, back in 1324. She's an incredibly capable engineer--we in fact worked together on my jade mech Cherry--and perhaps the best shot with a rifle of anyone I've met. She's immensely curious, quite sarcastic, and kind. She's also the first true friend I ever had."

9. Are you a spiritual person? If yes, what do you practice?

"I suppose you could say that I was spiritual, somewhat, when I was living in Maguuma. The Itzel worship and swear by Ameyalli, and I still do the second out of habit. But I've been through too much to truly worship the jungle anymore, and I was never particularly dedicated to begin with."

12. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? (on vacation or permanently!)

"I would not. I'd stay in Lion's Arch, with my family. I go where they go, and if they want to travel, I will come with them."

16. Describe your perfect day.

"Any day where there are no world-ending events and I am temporarily free from responsibility to choose what I'd like to do. What that would look like depends wildly on what else is going on at the time, but will certainly involve my family. And books."

20. Describe your biggest pet peeve.

"People who think they know best and refuse to listen to anyone telling them that they might just be, in fact, wrong. I have run into quite a few of them."

24. What would you consider your main love language?

Nisha thinks for a moment. "I suppose you'd say quality time and words of affirmation, though it still comes more naturally for me to write the words than say them out loud."

New norn brewing in my head, because I need more? Yes.

Typical spirits of the wild never meant anything to her, so she went mooching around Tyria in search of greatness and wound up in Maguuma. Here she felt at peace and felt like she could find purpose here and she wandered further into the heart of the maguuma about mmmm five or so years before personal story.

Her spirit is the spirit of the jungle, and she learned to communicate with the Itzel and Nuhoch there. While the Itzel call the spirit (and substance) of the jungle Ameyalli, she doesn't like the concept of spirits having names, they're too exalted for that. Still, she gets on well enough with the locals.

Fascinated by Auric Basin cos lots of weird stuff going on but the centre is closed up tight.
