i think the reason my dad was so fucking depressed and also why we were so close is i think he was questioning his gender identity and never found a way to be himself
I cant tell anyone because I don't think they'd see things the way I do but like.... after a picture I saw of him cross dressing "as a workplace prank" (and fucking killing it) combined with what we found at the end of his life, like. idk.
to me it seems pretty clear now
#radtalks#needed to put this somewhere#no one will see things my way bc theyll assume im reading into things#because im trans#but come on#hes been a depressed alcoholic since childhood for no discernable reason#and his amazon history was filled with what can only be described as a trans womans shopping list

Dear self,
Instead of remembering "I need to do such and such...." in the middle of doing something else you've just remembered that you needed to do, perhaps it might be easier to actually complete the job you're doing on the moment and then move onto the next and complete it too before starting anymore...
Might actually find things get done then!
#The story of how I've been attempting to find a water resistant shower curtain on amazon for at least 10 hours without committing#And completing online Christmas food shop#And updating my planner with what has happened over the last week before I forget days/dates/info given over important stuff#And make a list of stuff I need to purchase from a non online store before christmas#And work out the “naaaaice” Christmas food I need to grab from m&s#And catch up on the podcast I'm listening to#And take the 4th dose of medication I have to spread out over the day but now have been organised and moved the box that I can't find it#And get other last minute jobs done....#Instead everything is a tiny fraction more done every so often rather than anything getting completed 🤦

Hello Tumblr!
With our first post on the platform, we would like to introduce ourselves and what we do!
We are Reward Services, a content-driven organization focused on delivering consumers tips, tricks, and ideas on utilizing internet technology to aid in everyday tasks involving online shopping, in-person shopping, searching for deals, and general fiscal management.
Looking forward, we are excited to start our tenure here on Tumblr with our first very simple tip: Lists.
It’s an extremely simple and often overlooked concept that many still discount even though countless other blogs go over the topic at large. That’s not going to stop our overview of the subject, however.
Lists can come in many different shapes and sizes and can be managed in many different ways. From simply scrawling what you need on the back of an old receipt, to keeping a written booklet, to even utilizing an app such as Google Keep to keep track of your lists; it’s hard to go wrong in organizing the purchases you need to make.
Websites and apps like Amazon or Walmart.com have shopping carts that can act as temporary lists until you checkout, or alternatively have their own built-in list managers. All in all, there is very little that a list can’t do to help your memory in the moment, and can do a lot to reduce stress on long shopping trips whether virtually or not. There are so many options regarding keeping track of the items you want to purchase that you could almost make a list of them!

arranging all of the LPS that managed to survive my childhood by year on their copyright statement (ft. cat paws)
the bottom row are a mystery, but for the others it goes: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
#rnn.p#lps#littlest pet shop#two of them are sus bc I bought them from amazon way after everybody else#and this is excluding the 4 customs#but everybody else here was either bought in package when they came out or were bought before little me could understand what an lps was#I gathered em all up bc nostalgia but also I realized I could add the cats to me cat figure collection#unfortunately there are way less cats than there should be and now I am making a list of the missing ones#also I really don't know what happened to the chinchilla. I think he's cursed#the first one of him got stepped on and lost his head and now his replacement is missing 3/4 of his limbs

all that is great advice. and. if you can, support business which are NOT ON amazon.
small business owners hear nonstop that you "cant do it without amazon." just an inkling but i think thats a bezos talking point
How to Ditch Amazon
Support your local libraries and the small businesses that are actually making the products you want. Fuck Jeff Bezos and the systemic, universal worker abuse, gaslighting, and brutality they live off of.
#i do run a small business nothing we sell is listed on amazon#you can get it through our website or through the small local businesses we wholesale to ONLY#it it not easy but it could be a lot easier if people did their shopping places other than amazon#you dont have to use it for a mall and you dont have to use it for a search engine either#exclude amazon from your search results and watch your internet experience improve

so, i saved both minhos and taemins new albums to my amazon wishlist last night to save to buy later. and i went to the kpop store today only to find that she's put out not only taemins album but was literally in the middle of tagging minhos album to put out as well
that being said i spent the way more than i planned 🧍♀️ but its fine bc my birthday is next week so this is my present from me to me 💅
#i really try not to shop on amazon#sometimes i save stuff on there to look for somewhere else later too#or if my family asks what i want for birthdays/christmas i send them the list on there

one time I ordered a pack of polo boxers on amazon and they were fake. I left a 1 star review n said these rly fake fr.................... I might try to see if I can view it but buddy replied something like "what??NOOOOOOOOO!" only that seems more "oh no" and he was more "nuh uh demon frowning emoji"
#honestly idk why I'd have even ordered them on amazon unless it was to save on shipping#this is actually a great example too because you'll click on a page like “shop the polo ralph lauren shoppe” and it will show their lil ads#whatever itens they may be selling on amazon will be displayed#then if something sells out you'll sometimes click on that item and not notice that it's not sold by polo thru amazon#but some chinese guy was able to take over tha listing and they're promoting it like it's not plastic boxers#idc if I'm buying a lint roller I want it sold and shipped by amazon

My brother finally sent his birthday wishlist (like 3 days before the party) and it had prices for all items, but no links to where to buy them. I have found cheaper listings for all videogames and the electric toothbrush on there. So I guess his annoying habit had the positive side effect of finding the presents for less money but ugh. Very Annoying Habit. Also. On point for the videogame addict in this family to know the best places to get videogames XD
#why would you get a second hand ds game from bol.com??#(which is like the dutch equivalent of amazon)#not to be confused with actual dutch amazon which kinda sucks tbh#mariods.nl is cheaper and much more trustworthy than whatever random seller is on bol.com#like you can text them and they send you photos of the product you are interested in#when i got xenoblade wii from their wii shop they send pics of the box and the front and the back of the disc#if a game has no box or manual or (slight) damage they list it#when it comes to second hand nintendo shit this is the place to go in the netherlands#but i guess my brother doesnt know#also the website looks like it's from 2005#which doesnt help them#but it's a good company#and for new games i know a little hidden gem as well#which my dad actually found#because they were by far the cheapest for final fantasy xvi#i think i have gotten all my new games from there ever since unless i wanted a pre order bonus
