44/80: Amazobots (Prime Earth)

Reggie Meyer as Kid Amazo and his family were part of the limited percent of people afflicted and cured of the Amazo Virus who retained their powers. He has the power of Bio-Fission, which is the ability of self-replication while sharing a hive mind with his replicas. However, after constructing a similar armor of the virus' progenitor, he gains additional powers: Nemesis Cloning, Power Replication, Bio-Fusion, Power Absorption, and Regeneration. It is with these powers that he creates Superboy and Robin duplicates when Damian Wayne as Robin and Jonathan Kent as Superboy investigate the assorted break-ins and hacking attempts into LexCorp, which lead the duo to the Meyer family. TumblrFrostbite's AU Questions: If Bat-Man and Doctor Zero basically made a robot (if they invented an artificial intelligence in a synthezoid body more specifically) that have powers similar to Amazo's, how well would the Justice League of China's missions be if that robot (A.I.) was placed on their team? For that matter, what would it be called (what would it be refer to as)?

i honestly have zero context for this outside of the whole ‘oh this is new super-man’ but the justice league of china is already awesome and perfect but this would probably improve their like, speed of figuring things out probably? and if we’re following the convention of naming things like they have been, maybe something like Amaz-O, Amazobot?

My brain isn’t thinking up really good names for it.

I think the Amazo has the potential to boost JLC’s performance since it can mimic skills and abilities (helping Kenan, Baixi and Deilan counter the enemies’ attacks or find weakneses).

As for the name, I’m going with the Bagua Absorber (for its ability to replicate abilities) or maybe just Amazobot lol.

National Robotics Week: Synthetic Robins (Various Continuities)

Today is the beginning of National Robotics Week (7 April–15 April) and I thought that it would be fun to do a photoset of the various synthetic Robins that have appeared recently. Amazobots (Upper Row) was created by Kid Amazo (Reggie Meyer) in order to stop Robin (Damian Wayne) and Superboy (Jonathan Kent). Robinbot (Lower Row) was created by the Batman of China (Wang Baixi) as his partner, after Wang Jiali, his sister, and his first choice as Robin, turned evil. Robin, the Toy Wonder (Middle Row), was created by Batman in the 853rd century to be his partner and conscious to not go too far in his quest for justice. Image Source:
