ML What if:
(What if Emilie, was Betterfly/Hesperia in the Paris special?)
-The theme song at the start would be different, with it speaking from Emilie’s perspective. Allowing the viewer to hear Emilie outside of memories and videos for the first time.
-Aside from that, the begining events are the same, except with Emilie/Betterfly
-Betterfly ends up in Ladybug’s dimension, but instead of being freaked out that it might be monarch, Marinette is simply more confused on who this mysterious holder is.
-Betterfly takes Marinette and goes. Saying that she is safe and she will go handle Shadybug and Claw noir.
-Ladybug of course joins in, after learning about the multiverse from Tikki. (Somewhat)
-Chat noir arrives and is confused on who this butterfly woman is, but feels that something familiar about her.
-chat noir gets Kamikotized and becomes Celestecat. They fly off and escape.
-Now we start to have Ladybug and chat noir think that Shadybug and Claw noir are similar to them (their alt versions) but aren’t sure since this butterfly user is different.
-Betterfly tells them about the supreme, and how her husband took two of the miraculous from the supreme… but instead of her death, Gabriel died protecting her.
-Chat noir hears the name, and feels a twinge… Gabriel?
-Ladybug doesn’t think much about the name, but Chat noir does. But realizes now is not the time for that.
-Shadybug and Claw noir still do what they’re doing before, even finding out about the wish. They meet and make a deal with Monarch.
-the heroes moved to London so that Monarch couldn’t spy on them to make a plan.
-Unlike in canon where Betterfly goes out of view, this Betterfly doesn’t see the need to hide her identity. As she detransforms, Chat noir freezes. Ladybug does believe the woman looks kind of Familar.
-Emilie assures them that they will have time for pleasantries later. And they go forward with the plan. Chat noir does ask that they talk when the matter is settled.
-the plan ends up going the exact same way as it does in canon.
-With the heroes split off fighting their alternate counterparts, but while Ladybug’s is being handled the same. Chat noir is slightly different.
-With Chat noir saying that he lost his mother, not his father… which causes claw noir to stumble. Chat noir tells him that he understands the pain of losing a parent, how distant they can be, but that they aren’t alone. They can be happy once again.
-“Your mother does love you, she may seem distant, but she is also hurting too. Reach out to her, I promise she understands your pain.”
-this helped stop claw noir. Ending with his redemption.
-Shadybug and claw noir eventually go and change to Ladybug and Paw noir.
-Monarch tries to pull the multiverse bs But Ladybuquity kicks his butt in every universe he visits.
-Paw noir and Ladybug head back to their own dimensions,
-before Betterfly leaves, chat noir hugs her.
-“I know you aren’t my dimensions mom… but I really miss you.”
-Emilie felt her heart ache at that. She understood. Hugging the boy back.
-“I love you in every dimension. Always remember that.” She says softly.
-Chat noir smiles as tears roll down his eyes. Betterfly leaves.
-Ladybug asks what he told Betterfly.
-“I’ll tell you one day.”

I read your recent post about how ML should have stuck with 7 heroes and the polls for the Zodiac heroes. If the Zodiac needed to be used like in canon, how would you write it to work? Would it be similar to your idea of the Zodiac heroes, or would it be something else?
Well, for one thing, I would definitely set up that Fu doesn't have the Chinese Zodiac at the start. Not only does it back Fu choosing Ladybug and Cat and thinking they're best to send out, as Fox, Turtle, and Bee could be more limited in mass helping the city, and LB and Cat have the edge over Butterfly (should anyway), but Fu having the Zodiac this whole time just points to how much of an idiot he is.
Especially if doing the canon powers they have.
By the canon powers they have, Fu essentially wins as soon as Gabriel started up the Butterfly and alerted Wayzz of his intentions.
Fu has the time traveling Rabbit. Even if he's not allowed to change the past, he can go and look at the timeline. He can see who has Butterfly and who is misusing. Gabriel now starting this game of cat and mouse is now obsolete cause Fu knows who he is. He just needs to go get it, or pick ideal adults, tell them who has it, it's done.
Now, if going the route that Rabbit is with the Kudbels, there are still others that give Fu a huge edge to just win.
With Dragon, Fu can become literal air. He can go anywhere. And as we don't have clear definitions on Dragon's limitations, we can make assumptions on what can be done. As far as we know, he can spread himself out and scope out all of Paris. He could locate HM, blindside him with a sudden wind in his secret lair, and blow the Butterfly off Gabriel and carry all the way back home. It's done and over with.
Horse's Voyage, Fu can open up multiple portals and peek through them to see if he can find HM that way. Someone can clear this up for me as I'm not sure, but I do know that Kaalki did use Voyage to go see Chat Noir as Adrien, which could mean Voyage could be used to open up a way to go to another Miraculous holder. If this is so, Fu could use Voyage to blindside Gabriel while he's seeking victims.
Goat could be used to make a Miraculous finding item OR Rooster could be used to have a Miraculous finding power since the limitations of it are still not clear (like Gabriel literally gave himself au hopping powers in the Paris Special).
Dog's Fetch, I don't know if you need to see what you want, but potentially, Fetch could be used to just fetch a Miraculous and bring it back to you.
The inclusion of the Zodiac and the reveal that Fu had them this whole time, it just makes him look like an idiot. Plus the question of why send out the very two Gabriel needs when Fu has so many options to work with Ladybug and keep Cat safe from Gabriel.
I would make use of the Shanghai Special, have that be the intro and reveal of the Zodiac. Could've been Marinette's test for Guardianship. And then to be used by the heroes, I would vote they'd be spread out amongst the 7 with Marinette keeping the most as Guardian and leader, and to occasionally allow the occasional temporary hero as it is fun having a classmate join, but I don't think the entire class need to join and have a singular assigned Miraculous.
Alternatively, if doing a team of 7 heroes, and keeping that there's a clash between Miraculous, have the Zodiac be the next villains. Plus, having a big group of 12 villains could really validate doing a decent size group of 7 heroes.
Or maybe do like Xiaolin Showdown where the Zodiac are lost and scattered and there are rogue users who are unpredictable in use, and there's two groups are competing against each other for the Miraculous. And it could allow the occasional swapping as they win or lose. Like one ep Marinette could win the found Miraculous! One ep Marinette could lose that found Miraculous! One ep, Lila steals the Ladybug from Marinette! One finale, all the heroes could lose their Miraculous to the villains, and what do they do about it now that they're more limited?
So how Zodiacs could be done and made to work, one of these options is what I would pick.
Which, until there's a good alternative villainous force outside Miraculous misuse to face, I would probably vote scattered Zodiac to race and gather or villainous Zodiac team.

if you ask to roleplay on another platform, then it would be discord i'm most comfortable with!
if you're a minor and ask for nsfw roleplay, then i'm sorry, but i'm turning you down because i'd be comfortable doing that with an adult.
do NOT control my character, i will actually be turned off from replying for a long while if this happens.
this list will grow as i figure tumblr out more! (despite being a user for... several years now... sigh...)

GAMES: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Hyrule Warriors DIRECTORY: Height ref, #character tag
A young wanderer who has little to say to others and less to say about himself. Though generally obliging, he avoids meaningful connection and maintains a strict, careful distance with strangers and friends alike. Used to the lonely weight of being the Hero of Time who won't be remembered and hyper-independent for it, he often goes his own way.
Tumblr media
WEAPON: Gilded Sword and Mirror Shield. Ever since a particular incident post-Termina, he's taken a hard stance against the two-handed power of the Great Fairy's Sword and has returned to preferring the versatility of one-handed offense and defense. Trains regularly and thoroughly — very much so gives the older party members a run for their money.
GEAR: Traveller must-haves. Beyond the equipment acquired over his adventures and those generally necessary for life on the road, Grasshopper carries a set of wood whittling knives, a sewing kit, and more seasonings than any of the party would expect. His transformation masks are kept well-guarded mysteries and he still has the Ocarina of Time.
SKILL: Magic user. Raised in Kokiri Forest, Grasshopper has a well of natural magic he can make use of directly (as with cast spells, runes, and usage of catalysts) and indirectly (as through inherent resistance, direction, and sensitivity). He's added to his repertoire of spells since last learning Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, and Farore's Wind.
SKILL: Transformation. With his masks, he can turn into four additional forms — a Deku Scrub, a Goron, a Zora, and the Fierce Deity. While helpful, continuous usage is taxing on his mental livelihood, as these masks can exacerbate his sense of depersonalisation, identity issues, and are never truly painless to put on. (Sometimes, they're just as painful to take off.)
Tumblr media
LANGUAGES & COMMUNICATION: Hard of hearing. He understands Kokiri, Hylian (Old and Modern Syllabaries), Terminian, conversational Common, Goron, and Zoran, and a limited amount of his era's Hylian Sign Language. As with some of the others, in this alternate Hyrule, he's mostly counting on Patches' interpreting services. Situationally non-speaking and functionally illiterate, he tends to use body language and gestures to communicate.
As Mikau, he fully understands Zoran (Great Bay dialect). As Darmani, they fully understand Goron (Snowhead dialect).
He'll occasionally draw in his notebook if he feels there's a thought that needs to be understood.
There are very few people he's okay with speaking in front of. "Other Links" are currently not included.
SECRETS: Not that he's the only one with them, but Grasshopper is so defined by what he won't share that his secrets perhaps stand out the most amongst the party. Even Sailor — who arguably knows him best — can (or will) barely comment on anything beyond the Fierce Deity Mask, an injury that seems to have miraculously healed, and his competence as a lone traveller.
PERSONAL TIMELINE: Went through the events of Ocarina of Time when he was nine-years-old, Majora's Mask when he was ten-years-old, and Hyrule Warriors when he was twelve-years old. Or so he would say. He doesn't know nor think about how old he is (or how old he's supposed to be). It's been at least a year since.
NICKNAME ORIGIN: Given by Romani, from his time in Termina. It's the only nickname out of the many he has that he's okay with the general public calling him. Cori signs this as is ("grasshopper"). Patches, Knight, and Linh fingerspell (alphabetically, "G-r-a-s-s-h-o-p-p-e-r").

Idle thought for the potions (warning, more Order bullshit). So, originally, the guy who made the Miraculous built in the alternate forms to withstand various environments. It was just a thing they made part of the whole "transform into superhero". However, it required a free connection with the Kwami. The Order, when binding the Kwami, basically cut off the various forms. The potions are a work-around to trigger them, but users should just be able to recite a phrase or think hard, & boom.
Could be an option!

The Rooster miraculous wasn't intended for Marc
The vibe is just off, it doesn't make sense for Marc to have gotten this miraculous. Rooster Bold is awesome and his design is incredible, but what the fuck is Pretension? And why is this thing so crazy overpowered?
The word ‘Pretension has many meanings. Dictionary.com gives it’s noun form 8 different definitions and Merriam webster gives it 5. We’ll ignore the verb form of the word, which is somewhat architecture related and not relevant to it’s usage within Miraculous.
I think there’s 3 main things to consider when considering Pentensiont. 1- It’s a synonym for ambition, though it has a more negative implication. 2- It’s definition as a claim or assertion over something 3- It’s closely related to the word ‘pretentious’ A pretension is essentially a type of assertion or ambition that is rooted in pride or delusion. A desire for a goal without the knowledge or intention to work to get it. This interpretation of the word is clearly seen within Miraculous as the rooster’s power allows it to literally gain almost any kind of superpower immediately. The concept of the rooster miraculous is essentially the idea of privilege, the idea that you deserve to have something despite not working for it. That’s why the power seems so unbalanced. Just as privilege is unfair in the real world, the rooster’s power is unfair within the world because it’s user gets any power it wants while other users have to use what they have. It’s a perfect power to pair up with the idea of Pretension, in my opinion.
Now, obviously, privilege isn’t a concept that applies much to a boy like Marc Anciel, this shy queer writer kid, who has trouble making friends. He works hard on his comic with Nathaniel because he’s passionate about it. He had ambitions as a writer, sure, but he doesn’t believe he deserves success from it. Marc isn’t prideful or privileged, his personality doesn’t fit this idea of Pretension at all. So why choose Pretension as the concept? It’s definitely a more complicated idea than Subjection, yet the bee got reconned to fucking Action but the rooster got to keep it’s weird ass concept. Why not change it to ambition, or aspiration, or declaration, or whatever. Now I’m clearly putting more thought into this than any of the writers did, but to me the choice to use ‘Pretension’ specifically is strange. If they just wanted for Marc to have the ‘choose any power’ power due to him being a writer, there are many other concepts that could have been used to justify this sort of power. Here’s a list of alternate concepts I came up with after a few minutes of thought. Declaration Imagination Specification Assertion Decision Adaption Definition Ambition Aspiration Possession Dominion I-activate-my-trap-card-and-summon-my-blue-eyes-white-dragon-ion You get my point. The Rooster miraculous intentionally got a concept that has this negative implication of pride and privilege, yet was given to a queer side character who has self-esteem issues and is actively working hard for their comic book dream. It’s a strange disconnect between user and miraculous concept that is unlike any other miraculous wielder in the show. This concept is almost almost opposite of who the character of Marc Anciel is.
But then at the end of season 4, before we even saw Marc get to use the miraculous to any measure of it’s full potential, it and the rest of the miraculous are stolen by Gabriel. And as Monarch, miraculous is hardly used to great lengths by him. It was mostly used to grant himself flight or invisibility, though in the Miraculous Paris movie he uses it to travel to alternate dimensions. Now the mental gymnastics that had to be done to stop Gabriel from pulling instant win powers out of his ass every episode was… glaring, and also likely lies from the kwamis since they were never commanded to tell the truth and they let Xuppu explain things. When a being of Intuition allows the being of Derision to take the speaking roll, it betrays that there might be a specific goal there. It’s honestly one of my favorite scenes. I love Xuppu, but let’s not get off track. Clearly, the rules of this power weren’t well thought out. If a concept can’t exist twice, then why can the butterfly grant illusion powers, or grant Copycat a cataclysm power, or Volpina her illusion powers, Bubbler creates seemingly unbreakable bubbles that are similar to the Shellter power, Evilistrator has the exact same power as the Goat, Sapoties could multiply themselves, Style Queen and the dragon have basically the same power, Timetagger can time travel, Penalteam created a barrier, and Risk is just a frog-coded version of the Eagle’s power. Sentimosters also seem to be able to copy concepts, Fu’s sentimonster (AKA Feast) is immune to miraculous powers like the Ox, Mayura created Sentibug who could use ‘Senti-charm’, Lighteye could freeze people like the Bee’s power, Mega Leech does the exact same thing the mouse power does, Sentibubbler makes his bubble barriers, Strikeback is immune to miraculous powers like the Ox again, and Felix’s projector sentimonster creates their illusions. That ‘concept can only exist once’ thing is clearly hogwash, or it only applies to the Rooster and not the butterfly or peacock, which doesn’t seem likely.
To me, everything surrounding the rooster feels incomplete, disjointed from its place in the story in a way none of the other miraculous are. It’s power is this perfect compliment to the butterfly, the ability to grant powers to yourself rather than to others, that is just so underutilized in the show. It was one of the last miraculous to be revealed from the Motherbox and it was given to, I’m sorry to say, a not very relevant side character whose main plot relevance is being the romantic interest of one of the classmates. I love Marc, but of all the miraculous users, they are the least developed character. Marc just feels out of place with the rooster. It feels like it was given to them by popular demand from the fans. Given to him in the midst of Penalteam, where it wouldn’t get to shine as it had to share it’s spotlight with 2 other miraculous. Not to mention his hitherto unmentioned love and skill for football/soccer that justifies him being there. Rooster Bold, Caprikid, Miss Hound, and Minotourox were rushed and shoved into a single episode in order to quickly introduce them befor season 5.
Then at the end of season 4, Gabriel got hold of the rooster and other miraculous by means of Ladybug’s yoyo, and this powerful miraculous was heavily underutilized. Many fans have voiced grievances with this finale, mainly because it felt totally contrived. Gabriel being able to open the link to the miracle box doesn’t make sense since he’s not the guardian, the yoyo didn’t disappear when she de-transformed, Marinette had to retransform to get it back which gave Gabriel time to grab all the miraculous despite every other time we saw a de-transformation causing a miraculous tool to disappear(like the cane in s2 finale, Mayura.) The show broke it’s own rules to make this dramatic ending happen. The actions of the individual characters all make sense, but the rules are broken so it feels cheap. This seem off topic, but let’s move backwards and look at Risk. The idea of this akuma was amazing, a secret villain that makes everyone in paris take risks so that Shadowmoth can finally get an edge over Ladybug. A wonderful idea that leads to some crazy scenes during the episode, but what does it accomplish? It makes Marinette choose ‘Adrien’ to help her beat the villain by giving him, who is actually Felix, the dog miraculous, which was the used to steal Ladybug’s yoyo. Risk made Marinette feel the need to call a new Dog user, despite already having Sabrina. She had already called 7 established heroes to fight Strikeback, yet felt she she needed someone without the Risk mark, causing her to go to ‘Adrien’/Felix. Judging Marinette’s actions in Risk is difficult because her mind is literally affected by RIsk, and when she knows that she starts overthinking her actions and doubting herself at every step, all and all just a mess which is the point of Risk being created.
Let me lay my theory out. The Ox, goat, dog, and rooster miraculous were rushed into the show with Penalteam. Marc stands out in the hero team by both being a very minor character and not fitting the concept of his miraculous. Sabrina does fit her miraculous concept to a tee, Adoration is a perfect match for her, yet she was replaced by ‘Adrien’/Felix/Flaremidable in the s4 finale. The show breaks its own rules to give Gabriel all the miraculous for season 5. Throughout season 5, Gabriel heavily underutilized the Rooster despite it’s versatility. Season 5 sucked ass(In my opinion)
I think that there was a massive rewrite of reason 5, because everything about the use of the rooster and the writing of season 5 feels disjointed and badly written.
The whole point of the powers of the butterfly and peacock miraculous is that they can be used to grant basically any power, which makes it the perfect weapon for the villain of an episodic show like miraculous. Except, in season 4&5, the show becomes more narrative and less episodic, with badly executed plotlines running through the episodes. The Rooster’s ‘choose any power’ power fits the themes of the villains in this story way more than it does the heroes. In this show, our heroes Ladybug and Chat Noir fight an illusive, ever changing roster of villains with their unchanging and limited arsenal of powers, that's the entire premise of the fights of the show. Set limits versus constantly changing power. That idea completely breaks when Rooster Bold walks up and goes ‘I choose the power to always hit my mark’ and then chucks his pen which magically lasers in and breaks the akumatized object. It completely breaks the balance of the show. But, if the user of the Rooster was a villain, then it slots perfectly into the premise.
Pretension is ambition that is rooted in pride and privilege. It is assertions and claims that won’t be backed up or earned by action or skill. It’s the idea that one thinks they deserve something that they aren't going to put work into getting.
I think that the rooster was originally meant for Felix, and Rooster Bold was a relatively new idea.
I think the rushed nature of Penalteam was so that the 4 until then unused miraculous would be known about for this new version of season 5, which is the version we got. I think that season 5 was originally going to be more similar to season 4, with Caprikid, Miss Hound, and Minotourox being introduced in season 5’s episodes, and Shadowmoth still being the villain. I think that the original idea of Risk/Strikeback was that Marinette gave ‘Adrien’/Felix the Rooster instead of the Dog, and this choice would make sense since the rooster in this version would have yet to have had a holder and Marinette would be taking a risk by giving out this powerful miraculous. It's also a Risk because Adrien had failed as a hero before as Aspik. And after the battle, Felix would disappeared with the miraculous.
Now I can’t speak to what would happen after this, whether Felix would be an anti-hero or an anti-villain, which side he would be fighting on, or what his further intentions would be. Because the version of Felix’s story we got was likely very simplified for the season 5. Hell, I’m not even sure if the sentimonster plot would be the same. I hope it wouldn’t have been, that shit was stupid.
I think that this whole idea was taken out of the show in order to have the dramatic season of Gabriel having all the miraculous for season 5, an idea that I’m sure wasn’t the original intent of the series. I’m not sure if this change came from pressure from ZAG on the writers or from Astruc slamming his head into a brick wall at a few too many miles per hour. I can’t speak to how the original plot of season 5 would have gone because I’m just some random chucklefuck on the internet with too much time on their hands and this entire theory is based on the Rooster miraculous having the wrong vibes for a character i like.
TLDR My theory is that the original idea was for Felix to have the Rooster miraculous and that Penalteam rushed the other miraculous into the show in order to have the dramatic, badly written, season 5 that we got.

An update on companies boycotting Elon Musk's Nazi hate site Twitter X.
At least a dozen major brands have halted ad spending on X, formerly Twitter, since its latest advertiser exodus began last week over concerns about antisemitism and hate speech on Elon Musk’s social media platform. Fox Sports, Ubisoft, Axios, TechCrunch and Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media all told CNN in recent days that they’d paused their ad spending on X, joining other large advertisers that jumped ship last week. The ongoing exit of advertisers marks a deepening crisis for X, which was already struggling to woo brands back to the platform following Musk’s takeover last year. And it comes as growing numbers of X users also decamp to alternate platforms. The White House joined Threads this week, giving a boost to Meta’s X competitor. The latest revolt began last week when IBM said it had suspended advertising on X after a report from progressive media watchdog Media Matters found its ad had run alongside pro-Nazi content on the platform. IBM’s decision also came after Musk had publicly endorsed an antisemitic conspiracy theory in a post on X earlier in the week.
Paris Hilton is the latest advertiser to kick Musk in the balls.
Paris Hilton’s media company suspends ads on X, one month after agreeing to touted partnership with the platform
Elon Musk seems to have learned nothing from the backlash to his spreading of hate and conspiracy theories.
Elon Musk is now boosting the ‘Pizzagate’ conspiracy theory
Pizzagate? SERIOUSLY? Pizzagate is sooooo 2016. QAnon hasn't even dropped any new messages since Trump lost the 2020 election.
Musk is desperately trying to sow hate and chaos to help Republicans in the 2024 elections. He's now throwing tantrums because major advertisers are refusing to finance his game.
Twitter/X is not going to miraculously return to the good old days of pre-Musk. Have a good cry and get over it.
By remaining on Twitter/X you help prop up a cauldron of hate speech which has become a political toy for a far right billionaire.

OK, so you asked ab9out my world building and here is the main gist of it, regarding the Kwami at least.
Firstly, I divide the Kwami up into epochs relating the the creation of natural forces or concepts that tend to come grouped in trios.
Secondly, each trio has their own 'EPIC MAGIC' when combined, but nothing quite as big of a deal as the Wish rewriting all of reality.
Thirdly, I basically fuse the Butterfly and Peacock, Sentimonsters are now familiars & the alternative use to making Akuma, they can become "Manifested" if kept around long enough but it takes time, not just energy.
Fourthly, this allows the Senti-plot if one wants because Emilie using it to make Adrien is like giving fifty times the amount of blood that is safely recommended, it didn't kill her right away, but she basically destroyed a lot of integral "Veins" manifesting Adrien right away.
Fifth, I reduce the number of Kwami by fusing them with others who have similar ideas, creating more expanded power sets with less clutter. Bull & Turtle are just variations on a theme for example, so I fuse them.
Sixth, I tend to make it that all Kwami have two domains & two powers, or at least, interpretations of their powers, Migration for example can teleport, or open portals, or sort of just fling the user around, Also one can use more minor versions of the powers more than once, single teleport takes less than a big portal, but the overall rules remain limiting. This is also why the Eldest trio have both a lot of power but also fairly simplistic abilities.
With that in mind, the Kwami!
Creation (Planck) Ladybug - Creation & Purification Cat - Destruction & Mutation Snake - Ouroboros & Time
Elemental (Matter) Tiger - Combustion & Chaos Bee - Order & Subjugation Dragon - Storm & Power
Life (Abiogenesis) Peacock - Evocation & Transmutation Mouse - Multiplication & Duplication Turtle - Protection & Resilience
Animal (Caveasphaera) Horse - Action & Migration Fox - Mirage & Materialization Butterfly - Emotion & Transmission
Prodigious I also fiddle with the Prodigous some, though I never can settle on the Renlings, I have a solid take on Mei-Shi, namely:
Incarnation & Transmigration!
IE, manifesting incorporeal beings into physical form & the movement of your own or someone else's soul. Hence Mei-Shi possessing the statue but also having a Kwami form. They even have a Miraculous tool, the ball, which is fun. I tend to regard them as a Lion Dog or Shishi.
The Renlings are harder & sometimes I ignore them entirely, other times I tinker with them being like:
A butchered pseudo Miraculous using animals spirits. Or ther concepts are tied to none cenrtain ideas so they can't embody the whole concept of justice cos all justice is different, ETC.
Or something like Kwami, namely Predation & Prey, but cos of the making process they don't have a binding command like the Kwami & or they indirectly effect the user to become animalistic.
Older versions also had Mei-Shi as Fission & Fusion (Nuclear energy!) Or Magma & Melting for Renlings (Earth counterpart to Longg)
Notes:
I added mutation to give the Cat something to balance then, out with Tikki without majorly disrupting anything. Whether mutation or Purification cancel the other out is a coin flip as is the result of mutation so it can be either obscenely OP or useless. Hence not seeing much use but being a potential game changer.
The Peacock's power is to emphasize existing traits. Like re-organizing a metal into its strongest or weakest state; or to change the elemental composition of its target into another state. Its era represent multi-cellular life, plants, metamorphosis, & generally how things became competitive hence defense being there too.
The final four have some of the broadest powers, but also the hardest to control as they embody a lot of chaotic, thinking, feeling entities.
Kaalki has it easiest, being variations on moving from one locale to another, but there's a lot of ways it can go wrong. Fox can get into the minds of others, hence mirage, or materialize thoughts, illusions, which can get messy. This also means most people are using it wrong, amusingly.
The Butterfly can tap into a great many things but as we've seen with Akuma, but not strictly 'control' them, merely guide. Hence being able to create such powerful Akuma, but not really control the specifics. IE, Noroo is one of the most powerful, but also has the least direct control over their power, while the creation trio have some of the most simplistic powers, but have near total control.
Not sure what the epic magic for each trio would be. But adding a fourth or substituting a different Miraculous doesn't work. You can unify two different eras fine, and be a powerful holder. But you can't jury-rig EPIC MAGIC.
Also using it tends to be ah... Bad?
Like, if you use the second trio to make a sun, you also have a black hole on your hands, they're in many ways kind of useless apocalypse magic. Or will do stuff like, weaken the boundaries between the living and dead worlds. So great, now we're all haunted by the narrative, thanks Gabriel! XD
Sorry for the ramble!
Don't be sorry!!! I asked after all!!!! And I love reading/hearing people ramble!!!!!
Also that's some good worldbulding!!!!
And yeah the kwami are a lot and probably too many, so merging some toghter is the right choice.
Also giving wach kwami more aspects and power is always nice!!!
I usually make that all kwami have at least a swcond power like the ladybug but maybe even more, and unlocking them depend on training amd affinity with their concept!!!
Also I espand on their concept a little(like plagg represent darkness too)
Also the idea that all trios have a super apocalittic magic power is awesome!!!!!! And yeah it has some very bad conseguences!!!
(Really thanks gabriel!!!)

[oc] "The Last Valkyrie"
This is a new oc of mine, Theia Chong aka Zero! she's the protagonist of my newest setting that plays heavily off the mecha genre. It takes place in an alternative future where partnered pilots in mechs fight off kaijus that were accidentally resurrected by rampant nanotechnology. Zombie cyber kaijus, what fun!
Theia used to be the pilot of a (in)famous mech known as Titanium Valkyrie (TiVal), which had a history of pilot deaths relating to the machine seemingly trying to "overcome" its user. This is because TiVal runs on an operating system that's way different than what most of the other mechs use.
Also, unlike all other mechs that are run by two pilots, TiVal is piloted by a single person.
Of course, while Theia's goal was to reclaim the mech's lost glory, she fell victim to the duel between man and machine. However, unlike past victims, she miraculously survived-- just at the cost of severe mental damage and by extension, memory loss.

Okay totally random and REALLY STUPID AU idea that I literally just thought of and probably won’t do anything with so feel free: Danny Phantom Miraculous AU
Miraculous:
The Ring of Rage
Appearance:
Active: Bright green with a green skull with red eyes emblem on a black background
Camouflage: A simple silver band with a tiny ghost shape (IDK this is just a vague idea, change it if you want)
Transformation phrase:
“Cujjo! I’m going ghost!”
Kwami:
Name: Cujjo
Appearance: small green dog with red eyes
Eats: milk bones and rawhide (would prefer real bones AKA human but considers them an acceptable alternative)
Personality:
. Loyal
. Friendly
. Feral when angry
. Protective
. Very possessive of his toys
Concept:
Rage
Phantom:
Appearance:
. White hair
. Green eyes surrounded by a black mask with a silver lining
. Black top with the DP symbol on his chest
. Silver gloves
. Green ring placed on the ring finger of his right hand over the glove
. White Utility belt
. White pants ending in silver boots
Weapon:
Phantom thermos: catches and purifies ghosts by freeing the victims from the ghost’s obsession
Powers:
Ectoplasm manipulation: Green light that can be shot from his hands in the form of rays or formed into objects (Chains, weapons, etc.)
Chill touch: Gives him the ability to create and control ice
Ghost sense: A built in warning system that allows the user of the ring to sense ghosts when they appear
Ghostly Wail: Main one use power that creates a wave of sound that can be used to destroy enemies and obstacles (in classic miraculous fashion once this power has been used Danny has five minutes before he turns back.)
(He also has his other ghost powers, invisibility, intangibility and flight but they are more like side effects of having the ring)
Vague plot idea:
Vlad takes the place of Hawkmoth in his alter ego Plasmius and has a miraculous that turns people with certain negative thoughts into “ghosts” by allowing them to be possessed by lost souls who have an obsession that matches the victim’s current situation. He’s obsessed with getting his hands on the Ring of Rage and Crown of Fire because combining those two miraculous gives the wielder unlimited power. Danny was chosen by the guardian to carry the Ring of Rage in order to protect the city and eventually take down Plasmius and retrieve his stolen miraculous.
So…. That’s that idea do with it what you will 😅

Miraculous Ladybug: Fusion powers (Ladybug Addition)
(Because I am on a fusion kick)
Ladybug + Cat: Matter manipulation OR Reality warping (Considering the wish. not a stretch)
Ladybug + Fox = Sensory Overload (Make the illusion fool ALL 5 senses)
Ladybug + Turtle = Protective Charm (Make an Item that protects the user (Similar to the charms it could make but from all types of attacks)
Ladybug + Bee = Rule Maker : (You make a rule that must be followed by everyone that hears it. Think simon says but if you disobey you get stunned)
Ladybug + Peacock = Life Bringer: (Basically creating a sentimonster that doesnt need an amok, it is its own being.)
Ladybug + Butterfly = Shadow fighter; Creates an akuma but instead of turning the person into the akuma, their shadow is given the form and power, the person has control of the shadow and can tell it what to do.
Ladybug + Dragon = Elemental Manipulation: Instead of just turning into the water, lighting and wind, The user can control it like a bender.
Ladybug + Snake = Chrono Copy: Creates an additional copy of the self every time the snake is used until the 5 minute loop ends. The temporal copy will do all the actions the time before the snake was used.
Ladybug + Dog = Decoy: An item that was touched and Fetched will replace an item that is identical to the fetched item, ensuring no one would notice the change.
Ladybug + Tiger = Momentum: Allows the user to imbue any object with the force in any direction, so long as the user makes contact
Ladybug + Mouse = Object duplication: Lets the user copy an object perfectly as many times as possible without shrinking.
Ladybug + Goat = Perfect Creation: The user is able to create anything from their imagination, including unique properties. The only limits are that it cant create a Kwami, but it can create a replacement miraculous.
Ladybug + Rooster = Enchantment: Give a unique power to objects and anyone can use that object to use the power.
Ladybug + Pig = True Gift: Brings the item or thing the user desires to the real world, albeit for a short time.
Ladybug + Rabbit: Alternate Timeline: The user can see how changing an event can impact the timeline WITHOUT endangering the timeline.
Ladybug + Ox: Unbreakable object: Making items that can not be destroyed, can be passed on to any object as long as the user touched it.
Ladybug + Monkey: Prop comic: The user can alter an item or creature into one that is completely harmless. Think of it like giving an object the properties of a cartoon.
Ladybug + Horse: Delivery: Being able to send anyone or anything you touch to a specific location so long as you can visualize where it is OR summon an item/person to your location so long as you know where that item would be.

Which power would you give to peafowl and bee?
Peafowl I would work with something related to vision. For if there's one thing that really stands out for peacocks, it's the eye motif.
Tumblr media
And there's a lot you can do with a power around vision.
It could be a power of foresight, see the future, the closer the closer the more likely (which peacocks are tied to foresight, looking to the future). You can just straight up call it Clairvoyance.
You can do an alternative take to illusions. Whoever meets a Peafowl's gaze gets trapped in a daydream of their own making, unaware of reality around them. Where Fox does illusions that they control and all can see, Peafowl has no control what people see, and no one else can see what others see. It can be called Fantasy. Additionally, peacocks are tied to maya, which is Sanskrit for illusion/magic.
Peafowl could have a power of mind reading, meet the eyes of another and get to "see" their thoughts and intentions. Could be Mind's Eye. It could also be a nice nod to the third eye chakra, which does match with Peafowl a lot in terms of symbolism and themes.
Tumblr media
Peafowl could have something related to truth. You see what is true. You see someone's true colors. You see through illusions. You see what is hidden from you, like ghosts.
Lastly, Peafowl could have something related to hypnosis. Hypnotism through eyes is a thing that's done in media (though usually with snakes).
Tumblr media
But given the many eyes to gaze upon you, it could be done. It could also play off a Peafowl's beauty, they're allure, how they can charm and bewitch someone.
Any of these ideas I would take for Peafowl and I think would work well. Some of these can even work off Mayura being a more out in the open.
Now for Bee, I take the stance that they should've done something related to team work, working with others, a fellowship/community, connection with other life. That to me stands out so much more than bees stinging. That's very surface level when diving into what bees are tied to, which I'll give them, there is a Hindu bee goddess (Bhrami) who stings a demon to death.
But over all, bees are more about togetherness and communication. To be kind and open minded, but take no bull.
One idea I really like that canon did bring in, was working with a magical swarm of bees.
Tumblr media
And they could do various things for you, as you are their director. They can swarm to cause a panic (but not actually sting as that kills bees), they can gather intel and you can spy through them, they can be used for long range communication and act as little animated flying walkies, they could mass restore, they could prompt plant growth for psuedo plant manipulation.
The catch to this pretty OP power? You got to be a good director of this hive. If you are a terrible leader or a terrible person, these bees will unionize and leave. And they will not come back. No matter how many times you retransform, your hive is gone, at least until Pollen thinks you're worthy to direct them. So until you grow and change how you are, you are powerless as a Miraculous user if your bees unionize. Could call this Hive Mind to work off a community working as a big unit.
The other option would be to just straight up doing plant manipulation, though I would like to have it be that plants are resistive to you if you lack compassion for life. This could be Pollination to work off Pollen's name.
Between the two, would lean more Hive Mind, but if some think that's too OP, Pollination still works well. Both meet what I want for Bee, something related to teamwork.

Ed:
Right off the bat a small plot that comes to mind is Sam ducking into Ed’s office to hide from Alan (probably trying to ditch a meeting or some other social responsibility). Her reasoning for doing so being “this is the last place he’d look for me”. This could work for later in the current thread we have going on, or just an entirely new one.
Clarke and Llull:
I honestly love these two so much. Llull, a siren apart of a shadowy group of sirens working against the occupation? That is so cool! Always love seeing people develop sirens more!
(Side note: I’ve been throwing around ideas for some OC’s to populate Oasis and one of them is a siren who always had an interest in architecture and they helped build and map out Oasis!)
Clarke, an Occupation officer trying to take down the occupation from the inside? The whole Rejects group helping programs break their repurposing? Awesome.
Anyway some bare bones plot ideas I have that I think could work for both of either of them:
End of uprising era/ start of legacy, directly after the large battle of Argon where Beck and Paige, (maybe some other miscellaneous revolution programs scattered about) are trying to evacuate a critically injured Sam from the city. This is before the construction of Oasis, and Tron’s capture makes it so that his hideout in the mountains is presumed to be compromised so they really have nowhere to go.
Further into the legacy era, Sam, maybe with Beck, runs into one of them when on a mission (intel retrieval, sabotage, prison break, take your pick) that’s not going so great.
Rio and Sverdrup:
Your alternate universe where CLU does escape and is off to conquer the User World posing as Flynn is such a cool and angst filled story line like holy shit everyone involved needs therapy.
Off the top of my head:
Either, miraculously, Sam (and Beck maybe? Or perhaps he was derezzed which Sam would carry so much guilt over) is still alive and active but trapped in The Grid. Oasis, or perhaps some safe houses in The Outlands, still stand and is where Sam and what little there is left of the resistance/ refugees are. I can’t imagine Sam would be as active in her resistance, especially if Beck was derezzed, and focused more solely on protecting what was left, but if she got news that another User was caught and trapped/being held captive that might spur her to act to at least try and save them.
Or, Beck repurposed Sam caught/experimentally repurposed? I would assume if possible repurposing a User would have loads of physical consequences, that wouldn’t go away even when/if undone. Migraines, nerve pain, brain fog to name a few. I could see CLU/Dyson going the repurposing route (for Beck and Sam) in a ‘you tried so hard to be to be Tron/a program, well we’ll treat you like one/have you share his (Tron’s) fate’.

Timey Wimey…Uh Oh: OFFICIAL DESIGN: Mistress Tigress
Mistress Tigress, alternatively known as Juleka Couffaine, is at least 21 years old, being a part of the old Miraculous Team: as Purple Tigress for close to two years before Shadow Moth got ahold of all the miraculouses. She is experienced with the use of the Tiger Miraculous and has a bond with the kwami known as Roarr. Before corruption Juleka was a sweet, shy and had grown very confident over the years thanks to her friends and Marinette. Over the years, her relationship with Marinette and her friends turn into a family bond and the feeling Juleka gets when near Marinette is close to an older sister. After Monarch has all the Miraculous, Juleka and the rest of her friends notice Marinette’s state as she falls into a depression. This becomes a stepping stone for Mistress Tigress corruption.
She has the powers of the Tiger Miraculous but boosted. The corrupted Akuma mixed with the Miraculous allows her the ability to use Clout but it is 2x powerful which makes it more dangerous. She has the ability to control how powerful her clout is. Her second power is sorrow, just like clout, if she hits a person or her target with sorrow they get a sudden wave of sadness and sorrow. She’ll use this power to try to manipulate her victims into joining her side and will sometimes succeed. She’s very manipulative and is the opposite of Juleka. She’s an unstable person and will attack anyone on sight. She has a painful bite that will cause you to fall into a depression and eventually become her slave. She has the animal tendencies of a feral tiger. She has two powers, Clout, and Sorrow.
Her relationship with her team is close to a family bond and the reason she fights so hard to corrupt Marinette is so she can enjoy having her family whole again. Though she is still Juleka, her miraculous is corrupted meaning Juleka is also corrupted. If she wishes to, Mistress Tigress can detransform back into Juleka though the Akuma has merged with the Miraculous.
Her attitude is snarky, manipulative, cruel, and just plain mean. Though she does not act this way towards Marinette(Ladybug) or her team.
The reason why the corrupted miraculous hero’s prefer to stay transformed is because when they are not transformed the Akumas hold is weaker and some times their old selves come to light but the corrupted kwamis like to remind their holders why they are doing this as the kwamis also have the same goal; corrupt Marinette so they can have their family whole again as the corrupted kwamis miss their guardian and Tikki. The corrupted kwamis are manipulative and their words are like poison venom that their holders feed off of. They are always successful at getting their holders back on track. Though the team does detransform sometimes so they can hang out with their kwamis as they missed them over the years that Monarch had them.
Mistress Tigress likes to use peoples stuff as a scratching post, and can purr like a cat. She likes sunbathing and destroying things. She will go feral randomly and attack anyone near due to her heightened emotions.
Because Monarch melted down the ancient Miraculouses of the very first miracle box that ever existed. The Miraculous feel incomplete, no longer whole or able to support the Kwami that inhabits the Miraculous. The rings feel wrong to the ancient magic that was used to create and protect the Miraculous and the Miraculous is trying to fix itself whenever it can with the kwami's powers. But due to Monarch using them mainly for transferring the power of the Miraculous over to the Akuma, the Miraculous no longer has the power to fix itself.
So when Monarch had the stupid idea to kidnap all of Ladybug's team and force the rings on them and then akumatize the rings. The Miraculous used the Akuma to fix itself while using the Akumas magic to make itself complete all while corrupting the Kwamis and the users. The Miraculous begins to use the Akuma and suck the Akuma of all of its magic, so it's a never ending cycle of the miraculous stealing magic from the Akuma and the Akuma stealing magic from the butterfly miraculous that it's being powered by, the Miraculouses start to become corrupted because the Akuma is giving them the wrong kind of magic to fix the Miraculous and make it complete.
The miraculous, the Akuma, and the holder merge into one with their soul, and that's how it's corrupted because the miraculous is feeding off of the Akuma and the body that's attached to the miraculous is feeding off the magic of the corrupted miraculous to get strength and be powerful.
The moment the tiger ring was forced onto Juleka’s finger and akumatized it transformed back into it’s original form and began to corrupt Juleka, unlike the other Akumas Juleka has become, she fought it until the corrupted kwami; Roarr, began to rule her emotions, reminding her of all the times Hawkmoth had turned her into a victim, the old feeling of happiness that she felt while being Purple Tigress only for Hawkmoth to rip it away. And lastly revealing that Marinette was Ladybug. Roarr reveals deep secrets about Marinette, how she cried every night since she became Guardian, how lonely she felt, her never ending nightmares, the wight of her duty, her hidden depression, how she wished for a happy life full of love, her dreams of living with all the kwamis in a world where people like Hawkmoth never existed. Juleka realizes Lila had been lying and Marinette had been protecting them even though they hadn’t believed her. Her anger at the lying wench deepens the corruptions hold.
The corruption takes a deeper hold, going through Juleka’s memories of seeing Ladybug fight all of Monarchs powerful Akumas, seeing the danger Marinette was put in over the years and eventually remembering that one Akuma battle Ladybug had been murdered and Scarabella had taken her place realizing it was Marinette who had died, it was Marinette who the media was slandering, it was her friend Marinette who would do anything for her friends and family that was dying and fighting on the never ending battle field of Monarch and it’s just one little question that Roarr asks that tips her over the edge.
“I can help you make our family whole again, just like how it used to be. We can make a new world Juleka, one where people like Hawkmoth don’t exist, all you have to do is help me and my friends corrupt our beloved Guardian and we can finally have our happily ever after. But my power comes with a cost.”
“Are you willing to take that cost?”
Juleka looks down at her miraculous, the image of Marinette in the butterfly garden, the place she would secretly go to after school, sobbing as she blames herself, as she tells herself she doesn’t deserve her happy end. As her mask of false happiness falls and shatters, Juleka can only remember the warmth that Ladybug would give off when it was their turn to patrol, the feeling of safety and comfort gone as the girl who was Ladybug yelled at herself and slipped into a deep depression filled her mind.
Monarch had taken their sun, Monarch had taken their hope, Monarch had taken Marinette.
So Juleka was going to take Monarch down, thus the corruption completes and Juleka gives in.
Monarch is glad that his masterpieces are complete and orders them to kill Marinette, to bring him her miraculous.
They kill him instead, he is too weak and pathetic to be their leader…they need their everyday Ladybug..yes…she will be the perfect leader
Their perfect Alpha, their sun, their guardian, their ladybug, they just have to catch her and akumatize her.
Then they can be a family again.
