Okay but donphan in the room how pissed is everyone gonna be when they find out Emmet died and is only around because of divine intervention. Like when Volo gets found out he better start running. Like the clan leaders are gonna be shocked and Ingo is probably no t letting his brother out of his sight for a bit

There will definitely a bit of "It was Almighty Palkia who saved him" and "No it was almighty Dialga" from both clans trying to claim him, until Ingo and MC get them to see it doesn't matter/it was Arceus.

Luckily for Volo he is loooong gone, so he won't get torn to shreds by two verrrry upset Zoroark.

Ingo is definitely going to lock Emmet up in Lady Sneasler's den for a while for protection, Zoroark protective instincts can be quite strong.

Infact Ingo is kinda lucky Emmet didn't get any Zoroark specific instincts, otherwise he'd be getting dog piled by an overprotective silver fuzzball every slightly threatening situation, which'd cause alot of protective instinct fighting from trying to make sure Emmet doesn't die again/Ingo doesn't die after just finding him.

Ooooo ok so i put my phone doen to sleep but i got his with the brainrot.

So imagine Emmet learning to zoroark. Like i dont remember where i saw them but someone posted some photos of Emmet freshly turned into a hisuin zoroark and he has trouble with balance/walking. Since he tries to walk strait up right he falls backwards. But i imagine hes having a hard time with being sorter. It may only be a few inches (depends on how talk u say the trainmen are) but that few inches is very much so felt. Oh and claws 3 not four fingers and a thumb. Until he can get his human form back on the right tracks hes gonna really be frustrated with those. (Now for sneasels i believe one entry stated they are retractable claws so maybe that can be something at place here) like emmet learning to retract his claws. Very excitedly going back and forth with them retracted/not. I know its already said and done but imagine if Emmet couldnt talk. Like he would have had to learn it. Ingo can understand him but then they would have to wait before introducing him to pesrl clan till he can talk at least. HOLY BISCUITS PEARL CLAN IS GONNA THINK HES A ZOROARK ANYWAY CAUSE HIS COLOURS AND HE LOOKS LIKE INGO ok thats out of my system block of text finally over.

Emmet has most of his human muscle memory, plus some automatic adjustments from instincts that match between humans and zoroark making it easier to walk, so he doesn't fall over much.

As for speaking, in this universe Zoroark and Human vocal chords are very similar, which is why Ingo can speak while not in an illusion, so it mostly took him getting used to his muzzle to be able to speak properly again, which he does with the zorua he wakes up next to.

Irida and Ingo are the only in-the-know about him being Ingo's brother, everyone else just sees him as Ingo's very odd zoroark.

Now i know in the OG au Emmet becomes Ingos warden but now there are two of them. I imagine Emmet probably helps Ingo with keeping the zoroarks at bay but i also dont think the people are going to be as accepting of the hisuin form. Sure Irida (i honestly dont know if im spelling that right i just call her irritation or irritable) knows that Emmet is good but convincing the masses is different. Would you still have Emmet become his warden? Or maybe Adam (wtf was the rest?) tries to claim that zoroark as diamond clan. “There are two its ment to keep things balanced between the clans” or something. Emmet probably openly rejects the idea of a warden. “I am Emmet all i need is my brother!” Oh oh lord im thinking about it now holdmy beer (crap i gotta google adams full name for this)

Adaman decided to take matters into his own hands. Hes a clan leader and its about time they stopped waisting time discussing this. Clearly almighty Sinnoh sent two for a reason. That reason is because there are two clans. Its clear as day. So he sets off to find the Zoroark. He finds Emmet around Lady Sneaselers den, not thathe dares barge in. To his luck the Zoroark in wuestion actually approached him! Quite a good sign, no time wasted indeed!

Right before that of course Ingo and Lady Sneaseler had know of his approach. Ingo was venting a little about the whole situation. They dont need anyone following them around and getting into their business. Not to mention Ingo has his own warden duties! He doesnt want to add more by having to pretend to be a warden himself. So Emmet decided to take matters into his own hands(claws?) and just said be would deal with it. Oh Ingo you should have stopped him

So Emmet walks up to Adaman. Towers over him menacingly. Adaman feeling the pressure a little starts his lil speech he prepared. Emmet just stands there waiting unfazed. Once Adaman finished he looks to the Zoroark with determination and hope. Emmet almost cridged. “I am Emmet, i do not need a warden. All i need is my brother!” Adaman.exe has stopped responding. Sneaseler laughing her ass off while Ingo face paws (~w*) Much to his credit Adaman recovers rather quickly “I understand but a warden would only be there to help you. And even this brother of yours!” Wow give the man some applause, he just recovered from a talking pokemon in record time. “I said NO and that is all i have to say on it! Neither me nor my brother require your wardens nor do either of us want one. Good-bye” and Emmet just climbs back into the denn. Leaving the man to struggle with a rejection that stung as much as his childhood sweethearts.

Ooooo that's actually pretty interesting to think abt ngl, Ingo's warden situayion being unresolved and then having a random hisuian zoroark follow him around is interesting.

Honestly IDK whether the 'pretending to be Ingo's pokemon' or 'hanging around Sneasler and undisguised Ingo works better' tbf.

I could definitely see accusations going around when Emmet is seen near the new noble black zoroark, but also the idea of the clans bickering over having two zoroark nobles is another path to take so I'm gonna have to add one of those plot points to the next part of the story.

Its 3am and i cant remember if it was ever said that anyone knew Ingo was a zoroark. But imagine them returning both as zoroarks. If someone did know (elesa drayden the mc) they gonna flip when they find out Emmets one too now. Thouuughhh if no one knows >:) angst train its gonna depart (random but my cat just turned on my pc then left the room wtf)

Imagine the backlash. Subway bosses replaced by zoroarks. I hear the breed isnt very well liked so big oof. Plus Emmet is a very rare/ extinct breed. Poachers gonna be on them like fire on a ponita. Of course they have both already been captured so maybe they dont gonna run? At first anyway. Someone tries tossing a pokeball and it just bashes em in the arm or something. So people start believing the rumours are just that rumours. Till someone attacks them straight out with a pokemon. Oh snap! Now they gotta run. Idk i think the pokemon world is accepting enough to let them continue beings subway bosses/run the battle subway. But its keeping the poachers and crazy would be evil scientists away. You can always have em be captured as a treat but they have fans who love them. They aint gonna sit by and watch their beloved subway bosses be treated so poorly. So even if it gets angsty for a moment they still get. Happy ending!

Elesa is the only other one 'in the know' from what I recall of the main AU of theiris1002's, so yeah sbe would kinda freak slightly at the fact Emmet who was the human one, got Zork'd.

Ingo has been able to not be discovered his entire life so it's go smoothly, although they'd extend their pokemon co-ownership agreement to Elesa, as a 'just in case'.

If they did get found and hunted by poachers, Elesa would be in possession of their pokeballs, so nobody would be able to nab Emmet with a stray ball (Ingo was already caught by Emmet as a child for protection)

Do you think Emmet would also like having his clothes when he transformed? Like i think it was stated that Ingo liked having actuual clothing instead of illusion clothes. I feel Emmet would be the same? Ingo doesnt like but Emmet finds it way more convenient to not have to fold his clothing everytime he switched to zoroark form.

I know i know weak but i am gonna make each one a different ask instead of like one super mega long ask

Emmet as of now doesn't actually know how to transform due to his human mind not having Zoroark instincts, Ingo will try to help him, but it's like trying to explain breathing air to a fish who got given lungs that isn't automatically doing it's thing.

But when he does eventually learn, he still wears his clothes regardless since he still fits them in his zoroark form.

The reason I chose the name 'Stacy' for Ingo's genetic mother, was because it sounds similar to the word 'station'

Which is obviously a train pun, but also due to her remaining stationary, living in her den's territory near the railway line to Anville town for over twenty years.

She likes watching the trains, and listen to the strange rattling noises they made.

She taught herself to read because she wanted to ride one, and not get lost halfway across the region. The day she was confident enough with her reading was the day she re-united with Ingo by pure accident.
