Hathor Pen and ink on paper 2024

Called by her original name, 'Hwt Hrw' translates to House of Horus as according to myths, she is the mother or consort of Horus. First, Hathor is the goddess of fertility symbolized by the cow horns and correspondence with the Sycamore tree (the white sap of the tree reminds of breast milk). She is also a protector of women and a goddess of beauty and sensuality. Hathor's energy is found in the sound of a lyre, the movement of a woman's hips dancing or the act of wearing make-up. She is also part of a goddess triad together with Sekhmet and Bastet as they can be interpreted as 3 sides of the same archetype. There are available prints of Hathor for your walls and altars on my website.

This collage and/or its individual panels are now available as museum-quality posters. Made on thick matte paper, panels with art representing the Nine Realms of Norse cosmo/mythology in a style inspired by Greek red/black-figure ceramics, Viking Age knotwork and petroglyphs.

Art adapted from a cover I did for Verses of the Nine Worlds by Nico Solheim-Davidson. It's a book of Homeric and Orphic-inspired poetry about Norse deities.

thrift stores have probably been more beneficial for finding items for my practice then any metaphysical shop and with a lot less cultural appropriation

the houseware section at my favorite thrift store had basically a whole altar that you could have bought for less than 15 dollars. I could see thrift stores working especially well for you if you practice Christian witchcraft or folk Catholicism, because there's no shortage of Christian imagery in small statues and wall art. I've bought literal bags of candles at thrift stores for just a few bucks, and the selection of items like beads, candle holders, jars and trays is something you're never going to find that reasonably priced anywhere else. not to mention the scarves! nearly my entire collection of veils (about a dozen scarves and a dozen bandanas) was thrifted. my advice to anyone starting off in their craft who wants to use common items like spoons and jars in their practice is to find them at thrift stores. obviously, always cleanse the hell out of them. there's gonna be all sorts of unwanted energy in and around them that you're not gonna wanna fuck with, but personally I also love the strong energy coming off a once loved, no longer needed item. thrift stores and charity shops are amazing ways to find new and interesting items to involve in your craft.

The first altar table I made! I would have liked to have the engraving be darker but I kinda like the subtlety as the light catches it. Its up in my etsy with the rose one. I'll be making cute mini tables that are 5x7 and I'm super excited.
