I Wrote a Dramione Fic!

I’ve had lots of outlines and even more ideas (you should see my note app), but I’ve finally officially posted a Dramione fic online!

Inspired by a Twitter prompt from @galacticidiots: “Reject seven minutes in heaven, embrace seven minutes in hell. You go into the closet with your sworn enemy to beat each other up (but end up making out instead).” 

Seven Minutes in Hell

Summary:

>>Hogwarts has inaugurated a fully integrated 8th year class, regardless of previous house or Death Eater status. On the surface, it appears like a bold experiment in harmony. In practice, they’re still just young adults doing young adult things.

“Seven Minutes in Heaven, the Muggles call it. But heaven isn’t my thing.” Pansy paused dramatically and popped her hip like a diva. “We’re playing Seven Minutes in Hell—a chance for you to have a real, no-holds-barred, honest-albeit-forced conversation with your greatest enemy in eighth year.”

Ben Wyatt Is Our Doughty Nerd King

I’m fangirling over Ben Wyatt’s fangirling today. He is the best nerd depiction in a major series ever.

He is the everyday adult superfan: realistic, capable, takes care of his real-world responsibilities, has meaningful relationships—but you also know there’s always at least 5% of his brain on other worlds.

Ben: I have been kinda tense lately. Just thinking about the new Star Wars sequel. I’m worried they’ll rely too heavily on CGI and I’m carrying it all in my shoulders.
