YESSSS I’M AT THE DAGUR REDEMPTION ARC
#Okay okay okay so the first time I watched the TV series. I did NOT like Dagur at all#On my rewatch tho?? I fell in LOVE with him#He’s just. He’s such a great character#I love his personality and how absolutely chaotic he is at all times lmao#And as a villain I liked him a lot too. I’m VERY glad to see that he’s becoming a better person tho#But yeah I always really enjoyed his dynamic with Hiccup. Also sidenote I’m 100% sure Dagur has a onesided crush on Hiccup#HE’S ALWAYS LIKE. FLIRTING. WEIRDLY FLIRTING#And he’s SO possessive over Hiccup too?? He gets angry whenever somebody else tries to hurt Hiccup#Dagur literally said ‘NOBODY hurts Hiccup. Except ME’#Also even when they’re enemies Dagur’s always praising him too 🤔 There’s definitely smth going on there#Anyway. Anyway#He’s a very complex person. He’s litchrally insane. He’s murdered people and probably dragons#But he’s so stupid (affectionate) and he loves his sister. And he loves Hiccup too#I’ve always thought since the beginning that Dagur would be a REALLY good protagonist. An ally to the dragon riders#AND I’M FINALLY THERE.
