Not much to say right now. Not in the best mood after something happened, but I still hope you enjoy.

You were known as the chaotic one of the group.

Reckless, mischievous, you name it.

Honestly, no one really knew why you were the distractor, but they just went along with it because who else did they have to distract?

So here you were, skipping your way along the dark halls, your mood completely cheerful despite the disturbing sounds of the monsters chasing you.

The smile on your face was as bright as it would be on a sunny day, strangely enough.

You weren't one to strategize either. The instant you found a speed candy on the floor? Eat it in an instant.

Chocolate bars? Sounds good! Bottles of pop? Sure thing! No saving whatsoever.

You were literally the embodiment of idiotic.

And you liked it.

What was wrong about being stupid? Everyone is, so might as well come to terms with it.

You giggled, rounding the corner and making a U-turn around the twisteds.

Some say you’re confusing. Some say you’re drunk. Some say you’re crazy. (Which you are, but focus!)

You had the most positive,(Yes, even more positive than Poppy) yet deranged look on your situation, is what people said.

You didn’t care if there were monsters chasing you. You didn’t care if you were possibly going to die soon. After all, if you're going to go out, might as well have a little fun while doing so!

No you weren’t suicidal, just…you tried to make the best of your situation.

Was this place causing you to go insane? Probably. Who wouldn’t, after seeing their friends die in front of them one by one?

Ah, you remember now. Vee being mauled by Twisted Pebble, Boxten’s bones being crushed by Twisted Goob’s grip, Astro being killed by…well, Twisted Astro. Or who you like to call, the leech.

Their deaths were so traumatizing, you say with absolutely no emotion whatsoever, like you’re being sarcastic, but you’re not.

What reason would you have to be?

You didn’t really hate anyone here, not Vee or Glisten with their pride, Rodger with his nosiness, or even Shrimpo with his yelling. He had good reason to be bitter.

You heard a screech behind you, a warning. With practiced grace, you twirled around the easily avoidable tendril sprouting up from the floor, not even staining your shoes with the black ichor.

As you skipped on, avoiding a swipe of a smaller black claw, you wondered how the twisteds were even dumber than you, to the point they would just run around in circles after you and not even cut through the middle. They also wouldn’t jump or step over obstacles, nor knock them aside. They reminded you of homing missiles, but worse.

They acted as if a bean bag was a brick wall, and it was funny, yet extremely confusing. It bugged you to the point of insanity.(Not really, you're still sane but you know)

So you entertained the thought that maybe they were all blind. Their eyes were blood-red, so it would make sense that their vision is messed up, but that doesn’t explain how the amalgamation that was once a sweet and loving dog could now see you across half the entire floor, but couldn’t see you over a colorful kids table, despite towering over you.

It didn’t make any sense. It was like every single obstacle ever was an invisible wall for them. And you thought you were dumb…

You hummed, breaking out of your train of thought. Your eyes widened as you came face to face with a wall, smacking straight into it.

You could feel a headache beginning to form as you fell backwards towards the ground, hitting your head on the painfully hard concrete. You could hear the slightest crack and you cried out, immediately curling yourself up and hands shooting up to your head.

It…felt warm. Weirdly warm, and sticky.

Oh.

You already knew what it was.

You pressed down hard on your scalp as the twisteds closed in on you. You’d go out quick, at least.

The only thing you saw before it was all gone was two blurry faces staring down at you, hissing and groaning filling the air.

SITUATION

This is an Alternative universe of Shelly having the Lovesick Effect. The Lovesick effect only affects people whom constantly feeling down, angry, ETC, and can be left Permanent sick if untreated properly or soon.

INFORMATION

The ones who are Affected by this are; Shelly, Shrimpo, Razzle and Dazzle, Astro, Boxten, And Goob.

The dead toon is only Poppy due to past interactions had happened before.

Dazzle is the first Toon/Mascot to get Lovesick in the first place, Lastly Astro to get Lovesick at the end.

Lovesick can spread throughout in physical contact, or in emotional. And can changes people minds constantly in place and mess with their brain causing them to act all Lovely-Dovey to the ones they are close with only.

Shrimpo's attention is all over Goob and Boxten, For multiple reasons, he had infected them both along the way which caused them to be sick.

Astro is still a quiet Toon/Mascot, But more likely happier than before. Dandy are avoiding him at some point to avoid being Affected by Lovesick which causing Astro constantly feeling a bit Heartbroken. Luckily, Shelly is always there to make him feel loved.

Dazzle cries often of being constantly Heartbroken. Razzle helps him calm down alot to avoid being constantly heartbroken when being ignored, Making Dazzle feel better afterwards. (No. They are not in love or whatsoever, They are more like Brothers to each other.)

Shelly REALLY loves to be around with Vee and Tisha. Even when Vee constantly push her away, She doesn't give up nonetheless. Tisha also keeps her distant to avoid being Affected, but sometimes talks to her to engage in conversation to let her know more about Shelly in the state.

Shrimpo/Astro ; They do not get along at all. No reason, But Astro have reasons that he cannot express.

CHART OF RELATIONSHIP

* Will not be updated on this one. Keep that in mind Goob and Boxten are newest ones.

Astro/Dazzle ; They get along pretty well! They talk alot and express their feelings, Constantly greeting in sight to maintain friendliness towards each other!

Dazzle/Shelly ; They get along pretty fine. But at some point whenever Shelly sees Dazzle in such a state she would think Dazzle is too naive to find someone loveable. While Dazzle seeing Shelly get constantly pushed away, He often thinks that she's being pushy to others. But nonetheless, They do get along pretty fine.

Shrimpo/Dazzle ; Shrimpo sometimes thinks Dazzle needs to behave and stop being too naive to give out love to people, yet feel bad and wonder why he always like this. For Dazzle, He sees Shrimpo always thinks about how he is naive, but Dazzle does not see that way and reassure Shrimpo that he is ok.

Shelly/Shrimpo ; Shrimpo does NOT like how Shelly is being a pushover while Shelly thinks that Shrimpo is overreacting. Only if Shrimpo didn't constantly judge her pushy behavior.

So the main backstory of this can be thought of as this is a prequel or sequel series of Dandy's World. Prequel being that they tried catering for teenagers but which ended up falling and creating Dandy's World or as a Sequel which they are catering to teenagers after Dandy's World newfound success. (Also for the prequel, the transition to Dandy's World caused every toon to be rewriten except Shrimpo in which he still remembers everything and that's why he hates everything and everyone lmfaoo----)

Gameplay wise, I thought that what if everyone just had horrible stats and buffs overall lmfao- like with Finn's ability you'll lose a heart (also able to take hearts away) instead of gaining (and giving) one like Sprout's ability- and for the Twisteds like they can help you rather than hurt you if you befriend them over time.

The twisted forms are just based off their Canon twisted forms- yeah and twisted Shrimpo is also based off of faceless Shrimpo--

Decided to try my hand at some "human" designs of Dandy's World characters

So yea, first batch is here! Will probably do the rest of the characters (and their Twisted counterparts if I have enough time), but for now, take these!

Design notes (ig?) below the cut:

- Astro has this kind of "reverse Vitiligo" I suppose (don't ask me if that's actually a thing, this is all harmless fun)

- Also decided to make the blue on his body his hair colour, but it's lazily dyed in. That more darker colour is his natural hair colour (He probably would get someone else to do it tbh)

- I don't really have much to say on Boxten. Gave him a beanie to be a replacement for his lid (And some pins as well for the lid lock)

- Gave Glisten a tooth gap and freckles cause why not :p

- Also tried to put as many bows in his design as I could lol

- Again like with Boxten, don't really have much to say about Shrimpo. I like to think that his... Uh, shirt (?) had sleeves once but he tore them off (Guy doesn't like sleeves 🤷)

- Yes the mini Shrimpo is flipping the bird at us
