I have so many thoughts about a poly relationship with Lucanis, Rook, and Davrin, and I need to share them.

First off, Lucanis and Davrin have that chef’s kiss enemies-to-lovers potential. You can’t tell me their banter wouldn’t be the most cuttingly sharp yet reluctantly tender thing ever. Add in that moment when Rook—Our local agent of chaos—just throws their hands up and goes, “Figure your shit out and fuck or something,” and suddenly Lucanis and Davrin are forced to confront their very obvious unresolved tension. Sparks and punches fly, naturally.

But then Rook, who has this absurd ability to have chemistry with literally everyone. Somehow, without even trying, they end up pulling both men. It’s not even intentional—Rook is just Rook. But the real beauty of it is that it’s Lucanis and Davrin who make the overall decision to want Rook to be apart of both their lives, realizing they both can’t live without this chaotic force.

And oh, the dynamics! Rook being the wild card who keeps things interesting and unpredictable. Lucanis trying (and failing) to be the level-headed one while secretly indulging in all the softness Rook brings out of him. And Davrin? Stuck between rolling his eyes and smirking because of course he’s in love with both of them. And Assan is the one who benefits.

It’s messy, it’s fiery, it’s perfect.
