a girl from my math class last semester, after i fell TWICE while wearing platform shoes... she offered me her hand for stability and i accepted

"it's unlucky that it went that way" - but there's no quality in a person that will ensure future endeavors work out or don't by fate alone. my perspective is of course influenced by the fact that i don't believe in superstition or any higher power

i started writing letters to a friend overseas! i have a real penpal now!!!

oh we're really going there huh. uuuhhh i'm not like uncomfortable with my legs but i NEVER wear shorts outside of my house/dorm and haven't since i was a kid... except the PE shorts in 7th/8th grade and my high school uniform which was a skirt and knee socks. ive just worn pants since middle school... i guess back then i thought i didn't have the body for it, and now it's because i haven't shaved my legs since i was 17. again i'm not uncomfortable with that and in fact i think i look good in shorts, it's just that i don't think that would be... presentable. i guess my "no one has to shave" activism doesn't start with me lol

26. What do you do when you wake up?

pull my blankets onto me if they've been kicked off and i'm cold, get my glasses, take my meds, start using my phone. i'll get my phone before anything else if i had a dream, though, so i can immediately write it in my dream journal

this is a weird question. no.

my friends... so i guess alone in my room. i'm really looking forward to having a friend group or girlfriend irl who i'm completely comfortable being with

i didn't know in high school and i don't know now. i'm in community college though, and soon i'll transfer somewhere else..... majoring in computer programming! idfk honestly my life is just gonna happen, i'm not really trying to plan for it

god. i guess. sometimes people have just shown themselves to be Bad, though, and i don't think it's wrong to distrust someone even if they have apologized. everyone's done bad things, things they regret, things they can't believe they did... and it's up to all of us individually to decide who we can forgive and when

i probably just don't have anything to add to the conversation at that time. or i'm zoning out. i'm not sad often enough to have "you're quiet, are you sad?" as the first option in anyone's mind

like, on the street? no, i don't make eye contact with other people. unless i'm expected to, ie cashiers, waiters, classmates/teachers, etc - basically, eye contact means a smile, assuming it was on purpose

the ocean certainly has more interesting stuff, right? i think i've always wanted to go to space though lol

uhhh nothing. paranoia is pretty irrational, right? the delusions i have are very infrequent and even those are usually buoyed by my lifetime of skepticism, so i don't think i have an answer to this question

yes! almost always edibles, but a friend at college had a bong she let me hit a few times. i kept making people coach me through all the steps because i was afraid of doing it wrong lol. i don't mention being high to my friends online though... i guess i fear that they'd have a negative reaction to it? or at least wouldn't know how to respond? i dunno, i guess that's the drawback of being friends since you were all prudish teens. maybe i'll start being more open about it... i'm 20, after all, you'd think i know how to be an adult by now

chocolate milk. every time i make it, i think of all the times i made it before. i'm kind of connected across time to all my past selves..... a plastic red solo cup, using a metal spoon to get two and a half heaping spoonfuls of nesquik, and maybe another tiny bit for good measure, pouring milk from the gallon, stirring it all up, and sometimes even whipped cream.... when i put the spoon in my mouth to catch the residual flavor before putting it in the sink, it's the same way i've done it for years, since i was a teenager, since the mornings before middle school, since i was a child and was much closer to the counter. one time when i was very young, i was sad, crying, and my mom made me some chocolate milk, and it made me feel better. it always makes me feel better. i drank it when i was five. i made it this morning.

danny phantom 8-13 thoughts! again, under the cut bc I blew through 6 episodes in one go...

-LOVE THE WAY THE GHOST ZONE LOOKS. but theres fucking ghost cops??? ghost jail??? that SUCKS imagine dying and going to jail in your AFTERLIFE. danny going to JAIL WAS NOT something I expected. but seeing all the enemies together and work with danny to bust out. SO ICONIC I love that actually. and the thing about real world stuff acting as ghosts in the ghost zone is very cool.

-'there are some things more important that hunting ghosts!' mrs fenton says, about her husband forgetting their anaversary (FOR THE 18TH YEAR IN A ROW?? CHRIST) and not about, idk, their son clearly freaked out. she didnt even notice he was gone into the ghost zone!!! he might be a bad husband BUT shes not the best mom. they suck and I don't care about their relationship problems I care about these kids. danny doing his best to clean the house to keep his mom from getting mad at his dad?? hes such a good boy I want to cry, this is not his place, his dad should be cleaning his own shit up!!!

I was failing middle school because of mental problems, and felt so dumb and got embarrassed by teachers who would just get onto me instead of bothering to ask what the real problem was, but when I was taking my ged classes I had a wonderful teacher who kept reassuring me that I was smart, and I got honors!! danny is SUCH a little shit to him (understandable, 14, but) but seeing them getting along better and danny putting in effort. SO CUTE. THATS MY SON, STUDYING HARD!!!! and being so PROUD OF HIMSELF!!! 91!!! BITCH!!! A- is STILL AN A!!!
