This is the old Ultra Monster Series shelf for figures 2012 and back. I have some vintage figures from the 70s mixed in there, all with the tags.

This is the new Ultra Monster Series shelf, holding all of the smaller, less detailed figures from the new UMS line starting in 2013.

The goons kept firing. Nina’s hearts beat faster. She had to save Aialah! She changed the setting on the phaser back to stun, and fired again. “Run Aialah!” she called.

 “Nina!” Aialah called.

 “Run!” she said again.

 Aialah ran, but back towards the railway station.

 Nina sighed as she stunned the remaining goons. But the Mayor’s son had escaped and was chasing Aialah. ‘Great!’ she said as she stood up. Her hearts were thundering away. She knew a panic attack was coming on. She focused on her breathing as she looked where Aialah had went. She turned and went back into the TARDIS.

  “OK, materialise on the tracks…” she said as she set the ship in motion.

Welcome to The Seas! The first thing that should be noticeable is the general aesthetic of the pavilion. The focus on Pixar characters has been greatly reduced, with a renewed emphasis on science in their place. Here is an overview of the pavilion.

The Seacab ride has been completely reworked. Turtle Talk with Crush remains in its same location. There is an expanded observation area with interactive displays. Perhaps most noticeably, the Coral Reef Restaurant is no more. This area will be repurposed as a research facility and will house the first portion of the new "Behind the Seas Tour." Additional expansion space is located in the northwestern portion of the pavilion. This is where the new Viking Voyage boat ride will be built. Journey to Seabase Alpha: As you enter the pavilion, the first portion of the queue is dedicated to famous explorers of the ocean and its biology. James Cook, Jacques Cousteau, Charles Darwin, Sylvia Earle, Vagn Ekman, and Mary Oceaneer all have busts paying tribute to them. From there, we enter a narrow, dimly lit tunnel, the sounds of the oceans beckoning us to continue our journey forward. At the end of the tunnel, we come to the final portion of the queue, a large lockout chamber. The Seacabs now come into view; round, translucent, open-top spheres that shall carry us during our journey to Seabase Alpha. The first scene we come upon is the formation of our planet. Volcanoes erupt spewing lava and steam, meteors fall from the sky, a black haze covers the horizon. We are then blanketed by a dense fog. Rain cascades down all around us. Lightning flashes and thunder claps. The cloud cover gives way to a fast flowing river. Early forms of sea-life can be seen just beneath the surface. After crossing the river, we come across a small lake. Forging onward, we realize that we are surrounded by Norse, Greek, and Mayan deities. Ran, the Norse sea goddess of death warns us not to venture forward, for doom awaits us. Ignoring her pleas, we move on, entering a dark tunnel. A brisk wind swirls around us. The sound of a tidal wave looms closer and closer until it seems to crash directly overhead, and water splashes over our us. Will we survive?! Finally, the storm calms, and we find ourselves in the midst of a shipwreck. An eerie calm takes over. The sound of a waterfall can be heard in the distance, getting closer and closer. We traverse directly under it, and suddenly, we seem to be in an entirely different world. All around us are various sea creatures; sponges, anemones, giant eels, and the glowing eyes of something perhaps more ominous. Pressing onward we come across schools of fish, towering ropes of seaweed, and massive crustaceans that pop in and out of hiding places. Rounding a bend, we are caught completely by surprise as a giant prehistoric shark lunges out at us, narrowly missing our vehicle. Further ahead, a vast whale swims peacefully and enormous jellyfish bob up and down. A door opens, and we are surrounded by the Seabase Alpha main tank. Sharks, manta rays, and dozens of species of other fish swim by. A sense of relief comes over us, as we have survived our treacherous journey, and may now proceed to observe the animals from a safe distance! (NOTE: Once again, I will eventually create visuals for each of these scenes, but for now, I only have the overview). Departing from our Seacabs, we have a number of options to further experience the pavilion. On the ground level are a number of smaller viewing areas complete with interactive touch screen displays that offer an endless bounty of information about all the different species to be found in the environment. Additionally, the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction will appeal to kids of all ages. It’s totally sweet! On the upper level is the Manatee Encounter. EPCOT scientists are here throughout the day to educate guests about manatees and their habitat. Two additional attractions will be added to the pavilion over the next few years. The first to be available will be the Behind the Seas Tour. Here, guests can get a first hand look at some of the day-to-day operations that take place at the pavilion. Fenrir is the howling wind that rushes past your ears, moments before the storm rolls in. He is the low rumble of thunder that sends shivers up your spine. He is the creaking floorboards in the dark old house, that everyone tells themselves they are imagining. Fenrir is broken glass, shattered decoratively and dangerously on the ground. He is dark green and earthy brown, like the forest where he roams. He is the pale, silvery glow of the moon that shines bright against a near black sky. He is a thousand half read books and unfinished scribbling. He is a leader of those that are more than men. He is sharp teeth against flesh and blood that drips menacingly. He is the haunted house that parents warned their children not to play around. He is the rain that falls hard, drenching clothes through to skin, dragging people down. He is loyalty that flows like the magic in his blood. He is the bitter taste of black coffee that few can stomach so early in the morning. He is the strength of the old oak tree that has stood, unmoving, through every storm since it’s birth. He is the pain of a hundred knife blades piercing through skin and feels it more than he would admit. Fenrir is the nightmare that can never be completely shaken off when morning comes.

Background

Fenrir Greyback and his family originated in Germany, however, Fenrir only spent the first two years of his life there and has very little memory of the time. Born in 1943, at the height of both a wizarding war and a muggle war, things were not easy for Greyback’s mother and father. His mother was a pureblood married to a muggleborn wizard, and they were both dragged into the different wars by their families. In 1945, having had enough of the fighting and fear, they fled Germany for the safety of England. Fenrir’s mother was heavily pregnant at the time. Several months later they would realise that they needn’t have fled to England, as the wars came to an end. However, they never moved back.

How Fenrir became a werewolf is a mystery that only he knows, as the rest of his family have perished. He was a student at Hogwarts for the first four years, having been sorted into Slytherin for his ruthlessness and cunning. However, he never returned for his fifth year. The summer between his fourth and fifth year changed his life forever. Waking up late one night and spotting his nearly twelve year old sister sneaking out of the house, he climbed out of bed and followed her to drag her back inside. He followed her into the shallow woods at the end of their garden, but before he had a chance to persuade her to come back inside, a twig snapped in the distance and a werewolf appeared.

The werewolf chased both the children, and as his sister was slowest it looked as though she would be caught. Fenrir stopped and let her run ahead of him, sacrificing himself to the wolf to give her a a better chance at surviving. Hearing his children’s screams and the werewolf’s howling, their father ran out of the house with his wand and a shot gun but it was too late. The werewolf was shot but Fenrir had been all but mauled by the creature. Despite having saved his sister’s life and having it be his sister’s fault that they had been out there to begin with, once his mother had cleaned his wounds, they had kicked him out of their house and told him never to come back. He was a monster to them.

When Fenrir was fourteen and alone on the streets, he fended for himself pretty well. He couldn’t go back to Hogwarts and since opinions against werewolves were that they deserved nothing more than to be destroyed, he couldn’t share details of his affliction. It wasn’t until he had been alone and taking care of himself, breaking into homes and stealing to survive for a year, that he was found by Loren. Loren was a monstrous werewolf who hated all wizards and collected abandoned werewolves like some muggles collected stamps. He was taken into the pack, fed, clothed and taught that he was the superior species. Every werewolf in the pack had been abandoned or hunted, and all of them were violent and angry. Fenrir, quickly influenced by his new family, acted the same.

Fenrir was a fast learner and with steady meals and grooming, became twice the size, and had twice the strength and agility of any other werewolf his age. His instincts kicked in. He was able to tap into his primal werewolf urges even when the full moon had disappeared from sight for another month and soon became one of Loren’s top soldiers and most brutal murderers. He learned everything from Loren, but after many years of watching as Loren preached violence and an uprising that would put them on top and have wizards bowing at their feet, he saw nothing come of it and lost his faith in him as a leader. As he shared his thoughts, he found that some of the others felt the same. At the age of nineteen, in 1962, Fenrir and his conspirators took control of the pack and Fenrir killed Loren to become Alpha.

He allied himself with the Dark Lord when he was approached to do so. He had heard of him by this time, they all had heard of him and the darkness that had begun to descend upon Britain, but he had not expected that the Dark Lord himself would wish to engage Fenrir’s special skill set. He was not deluded in his thinking; he knew that the Dark Lord had no love for werewolves but after having decided that more numbers would be needed to help their cause, the Dark Lord made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. He and his pack began working for him. While hunters still attempted to take out members of his pack, his wolves grew ambitious, daring and added steadily to their ranks with every job that was thrown their way.

In 1965, when he was twenty two, he found himself dragged into the Ministry of Magic, luckily disguised as a tramp and without his wand on him. Two muggle children had been murdered and they were questioning anyone they could find. This was the day he met Lyall Lupin, an authority on Non-Human Spiritous Apparitions who had the look of hatred and fear in his eyes when he looked at him. Fenrir knew the man suspected his true nature, where others did not, since they did not know his face at this time and he was not registered as a werewolf with the Ministry. Acting bewildered and horrified at the talk of dead children, he fooled all but Lupin who called werewolves “soulless, evil, and deserving of nothing but death”. When Lupin was ordered to leave for his comment and Greyback was apologised to, he overpowered the man who attempted to wipe his memory, released three of his incarcerated pack members and fled the Ministry. Shortly before Lyall Lupin’s son turned five, Fenrir attacked him in a revenge attempt against the man who had told him he deserved death, the man who had reminded him of his father. He laughed later on that either he would kill his son or raise a son who he hated and feared. Whether this came to pass, he never knew, but he knew that the boy survived.

By 1978 his pack had tripled in size and his name had become a terrified whisper that few parents dared to utter. However, by this time Fenrir was a father of sorts himself, caring for his pack as a family and taking in many werewolves as Loren once had. He works for the Dark Lord and his pack work for him. He still does odd protection and assassination jobs where he can and lives out in a cabin the a large forest where very few people dare to tread, due to the rumors of vicious wolves and mysterious disappearances. His violent tendencies have not subsided with age, though having been taught well, he controls them well and keeps himself hidden. He is only seen if he wants to be seen. Though his name is well known, since he attacks as a werewolf, his human human is not as easily recognised and he keeps it that way, also using basic magic to alter his features from time to time.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kampala

Upon your arrival through Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will be welcomed by the guide and transfer you to your overnight hotel in Entebbe. You will quickly and easily identify the driver to welcome you. He will be holding a signpost with your names on it. You will stay at Cassia Lodge.

Day 2: Ngamba chimp tour

This morning after breakfast, take the 45-minute boat trip to Ngamba Island, the home to the orphaned chimpanzees living in the protected sanctuary. On arrival, the duty caretakers will take you around the chimp home and brief you about the history of the sanctuary and how and why the chimps were transferred to this island. You will be in time for the feeding session as this gives a chance for visitors to interact with the chimpanzees.

Standing on the visitor platform, you will also notice their unique behavior and then take pictures of them. After the tour, you will return to your Entebbe accommodation at the Carpe Diem Guest House.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls Park en route Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari in Uganda will begin with driving northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. With a hot lunch en route, prepare yourself for a breathtaking scenery and a short nature walk to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Masindi. The guided nature walk in the sanctuary brings you up close with the endangered rhinos.

By evening, you will arrive in the national park and transfer directly to your lodge for dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation in Murchison River Lodge.

Day 4: Activities in the park

After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and enjoy some of the vast array of game animals like giraffes, elephants, and buffalo that roam the park. Return to lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat launch upstream to the foot of the thundering Murchison Falls offering great photo opportunities of this marvel of nature. Also, along the banks of the river you will be able to see animals like hippos, crocodiles, and unique bird species for the avid bird watchers. Dinner and overnight as night before at Murchison River Lodge.

Day 5: Murchison Falls to Fort Portal and Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, you will leave the national park and proceed in the direction of Fort Portal traversing along the Great Rift Valley. The Rwenzori Mountain Ranges could be seen at a good range as you progress to Fort Portal town.

You will have your lunch en route, then proceed to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive takes about six to seven hours. You will arrive at Kibale Forest in the evening and spend the rest of the evening at leisure. You will then spend the night at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, you will have a briefing session with the park officials and later set off to the rainforest for the chimpanzee tracking adventures. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening, participate in an organized Bigodi Swamp walk.

Bigodi Swamp is popular with many swamp endemic birds like pelicans, herons, collared apallis, bee eater, Narina trogon, black-capped apallis, yellow-spotted nicator, blue-headed sunbird, woodland warbler, and more. The swamp is also a major livelihood for the local community through tourism and crafts. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the largest parks and home to several species of mammals. You will enjoy your lunch and arrive in time for an evening game drive in the savanna with sights of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, stripped jackals, hippopotamus, kobs, warthog, and a variety of primates like chimpanzee, olive baboon, red-tailed, and vervet monkeys in the forests. Dinner and overnight at accommodation of your choice at the Enganzi Lodge.

Day 8: Activities in the park

After breakfast, drive towards Kasenyi and visit the crater lakes, Edwards and George, which has been popularly marked as the mating ground for several antelopes, particularly for the Uganda kob. You maybe be lucky to also sight more wildlife that may include lions, buffaloes, elephants, and other animals.

Head back to your lodge for lunch and then proceed on an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Enjoy the rays of the setting sun on the launch cruise as you return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before at the Enganzi Lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Forest via the Ishasha Sector

Take an early breakfast and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park through Ishasha sector, the area famed for the tree-climbing lions. Have a short game drive, lunch, and then proceed to Bwindi via the lush green countryside. The drive takes about four to five hours, and you will reach Bwindi by the evening and check into your lodge for overnight at the Silverback Lodge and dinner.

Day 10: Gorilla Safari

It is quite strenuous and requires fitness through the long hours of anticipated gorilla tracking, sometimes taking two to seven hours of trekking. Other sights on the trails may include monkeys, birds, and several butterflies.

Spend utmost one hour with the gorillas and then retire to your lodge happy to have made the trip. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before at the Silverback Lodge.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast at leisure, your journey proceeds to Lake Bunyonyi, an area famed for her breathtaking beauty and scenic landscape. You will understand it with the beautiful islands that make up a spectacular view forming a small Switzerland in Uganda. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge in Lake Bunyonyi. By afternoon, spend time relaxing and enjoying the beauty of this place. Dinner and overnight at Birdnest Resort at the Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe

Today, you will have an early morning breakfast with your lunch en route, as you start the drive back to Entebbe. You will transfer to Entebbe for an overnight at Cassia Lodge. There is an organized last transfer to the airport from the lodge on the following day.
