Culinary Recipes: It is known to a select circle that she possesses a vast library of Vylbrand and Eorzean cuisine recipes, probably easily rivaling that of the Bismarck , or other places of culinary reknown. 

Demon Girl: Before moving in with Ilwe’ran Carina was an apprentice to the Conjurer Guild of Gridania. While there several incidents happened that aroused suspicion in many Gridanian citizens about her being ‘of this world’. Soon she acquired the nickname Demon Girl, and was often badly treated by others. She is not part of the Guild anymore, but the name has stuck, and many people will still refer to her by it.

Tavern Maid: Before moving to Gridania Carina worked as a tavern maid and cook in Limsa Lominsa, and a few locales around U’ldah. People might remember the blue-skinned beauty from there, as those were the only moments she could not hide herself under a heavy cloak or stay in the shadows.

Matriarch: As the Calamity wiped out most of Clan Lir Carina is now the oldest eligible female left to be the Matriarch of the Clan, and she is still revered by the survivors as such. This also requires her to hold certain ceremonies and be present at official meetings (or send a substitute, as she is fond of doing)

The whole Hlaiwa family is adorable and I love to see them and hear about all of the cute little headcanons you have for their family! Hunt : Ilwe’ran is excellent when it comes to hunt would it be to track and catch a prey or trailing another human being. 

Archery : On contrary of what he claims due to his own referential, he is pretty good with a bow. Having learned partly alone and being his weapon of choice since he is very young explains his natural inclination for it.

Survival : Leave him alone, naked, in an area he never went before and he will find a way to survive. His adaptability to new environnement is excellent.

Aether manipulation : Shaping aether is actually what he is specialized in as any other member of his Clan even though he hardly ever shows what he is able to. More infos > here < !

Aether shields : His trademark when it comes to aether manipulation is his ability to create aether shields. If helped by his Clan and given enough time, he can protect and even hide a whole area.

Hobbies :

Crafting : Ilwe’ran loves to create things so he has some basic knowledge in a lot of different craft. His main problem is that beside weaving and creating new outfits, he gets bored pretty fast and never pursue past his primarily goal achieved.

Reading : Ilwe’ran adores reading books in any topic but he is mostly passionate about History, fairy tales and legends.

Carina and Ilwe’ran are now parents for the fifth time ♥ !

Meet Alma, Ilwe’ran and Carina’s first born.

As Carina will give birth within a few months, we had fun creating Alma’s appearance in a special way : We discussed a little about her then created each one version of Alma on another server and logged at the same time to see what the other one would have come up with. As we logged, we discovered that we chose the same hair, same tail and almost the same skin color. The face, the hair color and the eyes were different but after tweaking a little, we came to a design which pleases us both.

It might sound silly but it’s during those moments that I feel really lucky to have such an amazing RP partner. RPing a pregnancy is something really challenging as you get the two characters experiencing something which will change their life and remain whichever happens to the couple. You cannot RP the same way and have as much freedom as before when your character is a parent. RPing a pregnancy is a little like preparing a wedding IRL. It’s a lot of stress as you should take some decisions together, the appearance of the child being one of those. And in the long term, it happens so often that the partnership stops for a reason or another and the child is so often left to one of the two parents or just retconned in a way or another.. And it’s so complicated after to recover from that.

As I broke off with my ex RP partner, almost one year ago, I thought that the die was cast for Ilwe’ran, reason being that there was no way I would retcon his children and - as for IRL - it’s even harder to find a new RP partner when your character is a parent than when they are single and without any bond. Carina never was discouraged by that, she took Ilwe’ran and his children without a second thought and I know what the player behind Carina is as amazing as the character.

Thank you @geisterfuchs​ for being my RP partner. I was really scared at the idea to experience this sort of RP once more and I certainly would not have accepted again with someone else. I don’t regret it even a second, because it’s you and everything is fun. There is no tension, no stress we don’t manage to overcome and it’s because you are who you are that I feel better and more confident regarding such RP almost one year after the drama I had to go through. I really like you lots *hugs*
