Really enjoying this era of influencers and creators getting off of all unnecessary socials. I love seeing the separation of content and personal life. Even with creators whose content is their personal life. For example- I think AllyiahsFace deleting her twitter account was such a smart move. It’s less about growth for her in numbers now and more about maintaining her core audience. Strengthening her relationships with brands which opens up a world of other opportunities. Now, her audience is eager to look forward to her YouTube posts to catch up with her or to get a glimpse of her personality. It drives her viewership up on her main platform. And yet she still has opportunities to attract new viewers from Pinterest and TikTok though which are primarily face-forward socials, so the focus is on the content. Not to mention, the socials in which you’d see her personality shine more also have stricter guidelines so it leaves less room for social missteps. (Which I never mind, honestly. Unless a creator is saying something completely untoward then I don’t really care) However, a more pristine image makes you more palatable to brands but she still has enough wiggle room to showcase her personality. It’s a good balance between maintaining relatability and up-keeping her image. It’s a move I admire. She’s very like-able and one of the few creators who spoke up about Palestine immediately. And continues to join in efforts and boycotts today. That’s how you utilize a platform.

The Green Coast foolishness 🌴🛖

I love it when the diaspora complain about the Green Coast resorts in the south. it's so funny because they're always talking about how 'nobody' goes to green coast and how it was a waste of money and nature. Some diaspora do like the green coast resort, but most of the locals hate that the nature on the mountains was destroyed for this project.

I'm not entirely sure how popular the green coast resort is, or how many people actually go there- all I know is, I never see people there. it doesn't look populated at all, and the demand for Albània wasn't even high when green coast was created, and it's not shocking to me that there aren't that* many people who go there in the summer.

Lastly, the amount of resort villas that were built are ridiculous, I could see if this many villas were created in a tourist area in Mexico or the Bahamas for example- but not for a southern European country that doesn't have the most tourism at the moment. The inside of the villas aren't even nice, it's what Allyiahsface called, "face nice" where it's clearly cheaply produced, but it looks nice.
