 Steel Pipe by Technology
Tianchuang pipes use the following technologies: Hot-dip galvanizing(The molten metal reacts with the iron matrix to form the alloy layer); Galvanizing(Steel interacts with zinc to form a zinc-ferroalloy on the surface of the pipe).
 Galvanizing is a technology of rust protection. The steel and zinc are will interact and become Zn-Fe alloy on the pipe surface. The layer of alloy can provide protection from outside oxidation and extend the pipe use life. The service life of galvanized pipe can be 20-30 years in the outdoor environment.
 ERW black pipe-pickling-washing-drying-galvanizing-passivation-washing-inspecting-airing-packing-storage or dispatch.
 The thickness of zinc coating is 300g/m2 or as customer's request.
 Pipe end: plain, groove, threaded with plastic caps or sockets.
 Package: Bundled in hexagon, PVC package outside and slings on both sides.
 OD of ERW and galvanized steel pipe is from 3/4”-8”(21.3mm-219mm)
 OD Tolerance: as to BS1387
 Thickness: 1.8mm-6.0mm, +/-5% tolerance.
 Length: 6m, or as buyers request, -0mm/+20mm tolerance.
 ERW means electric resistance welding, and it is a resistance welding by 10-500 kHz of high-frequency current.
 Material: The raw material of the ERW pipe is a hot rolled steel coil which is made of steel billet, and the usual material is Q195, Q215, Q235, Q355 in China steel grade, which are the same material with S195, S235, S355 in Europe, and SS400 in Japan.
 The steel coil firstly will be cut into strip, the strip width is according to the perimeter of the pipe, and then shaped by mold, welding, cutting, straightening, inspecting, end smoothing, packing, and final storage or dispatch.
 Application: The pipes are used widely in construction and infrastructure, such as scaffolding, water and gas delivery, fire control system, oil and heat delivery, and other low-pressure liquid delivery.
 The normal length is 6m, and it also can be a flexible length decided by buyers.
 We can produce ERW pipe according to GB/T3091-2015, JIS/G3444, EN10255, ASTM A500, ASTM A795, BS1387, EN39 and other standards. The pipe end can be a plain end, treaded with sockets, grooving end according to the above standards.

Performance in phosphoric acid is strongly influenced by the level of impurities present. The Alloy also has useful resistance to organic acids such as formic and oxalic acids. With respect to localised corrosion, the high nickel content of ALLOY 904L / 1.4539 makes it more resistant to stress corrosion cracking than other common austenitic stainless steels whilst the levels of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen impart excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
