What’s your favorite cartoon? Favorite character in that cartoon?

Aw man, my absolute all time favorite cartoon is Star Versus The Forces of Evil. All the characters in it are absolutely fantastic, but my favorote is Eclipsa.

That's her and her big beautiful human-eating demon husband Globgor. She is considered evil because she is a monster fucker and no other reason. Her "people" imprisoned her in a crystal to contain her for decades until the main character (Star Butterfly) sets her free; And the first thing she does once she can talk is ask Star for a candy bar. I love that her face is so round and she isn't often depicted as thin but chubby which makes me so happy.

Not pictured is their adorable baby Meteora. Who starts off the series as an unhinged fucked up Headmistress of the Worst girl's school in the galaxy; And ends the series as the cutest half-demon baby ever.

Honestly Eclipsa is living my fucking dreams and she makes me so happy. There's a lot more to the show. Highly reccommend it. Where can you watch it? Fuck if I know! Cartoon Network is full of fuckwads that hate me. I wish this show would come out on DVD more than anything.

thinking about the way ghost doesn't hesitate to start killing shadows when graves betrays them but soap only takes one hostage

Bruce Wayne died the very same night his parents were murdered brutally in front of him. In an alleyway near his favorite theater in Park Row.

Its a simple well known fact to those that are EXTREMELY closest to him.

The problem was that he just wasn't aware of how seriously true that fact was until a young ghostling approached him to talk about entering his "haunt" semi-permanently.

Both to attend university (Bruce DID have some concerns about this teenage ghost attending classes when he was dead but more so for the ghost themselves and not the students) and to talk about getting the Batman some help for his currently unstable "core".

Something that seemed to be making him run around more violently over the years compared to a regular ghosts core and was affecting his ghostling children the longer it continued like that.

Either way, Bruce was concerned that the ghost was just seeing things wrong and Danny seemed equally as concerned as to what could have POSSIBLY made his subjects core this broken inside and if it could even be fixed-

He finds out that Vlad cloned him again and finds an infant in the lab. Danny takes the baby, names him Bruce, and ends up adopted by the Waynes.

#Danny Fenton is Jason Todd au: An au where Danny is Jason Todd! He was adopted by the Fentons shortly after the events of the carjacking.

#Older Brother Danny: contains all of my aus where Danny is an Older Brother. This currently includes only my DAG posts but it's not limited to Danyal Al Ghul.

#Changeling Danny: a half-ghost? oh, wait, no. that's a changeling. even worse! Danny's got latent fey blood from a Fenton getting freaky with a faerie some dozen generations ago, and it reactivated with a fervor when he had his accident! Instead of a halfa, he became one of the Fair Folk.

#Blood blossom au: currently the name for the time being. A Nightingale/First Batkid au where Vlad poisons Danny with blood blossom extract, and it results in Danny running to Batman! Currently only one post, but it has a lot of branching pathways in the reblogs. Batdad centered! Now comes with its own fanfic!

#tales of the passerine: the official au name for my "Danny being the first batkid" post! This au is what inspired changeling Danny. It's the idea that Danny was the first to be adopted by Bruce, and features me favoring batdad over "lmfao Danny goes fuck you bruce and adopts the other kids" au. Because I want batdad.

#mother of monsters danny: specifically its mother of monsters dan but i digress. I was messing around with my fem!Danyal au and boom! Her evil timeline self is Layal, the terrifying Mother of Monsters who raises any manner of monstrous beasts. I love her <3

#martha knight au same song, different dance! This is a fem danny version of my aforementioned "Danny is Thomas Wayne" au. Except this time around, Danny is Martha! Arguably my favorite between the two, I feel like I'm able to do more with her than Thomas. Her au's vibe is After All by Christine Ebersole

2:15 am and all I can think about is how bad I want more subnautica dead tired aus…

I have NEVER played, watched, nor been spoiled a single thing about subnautica. The only stuff I know is that there’s water. Then, on one ordinary day, I come across a drawing. It’s Danny Phantom as a leviathan?? I think it’s a leviathan. It’s absolute fire. Bro cooked with gas. I’m intrigued.

I go looking further. They have a master post link at the top. I check it out. I binge it all.

“Wow” I think to myself. “Where can I get more of this?”.

I look high and low. I wait a couple days. Nothing. Silence. Horror dawns on me as I realize this has been abandoned.

(If I’m remembering right) Later I find another glimpse of subnautica. This was short and was mostly big leviathan Danny with Justus League there at the end. But still it’s gas. It’s flammable. My hair got torched into a bob.

This reignites the fires in my motivation to get kicking back on this subnautica adventure. I search again for more. I plead for dead tired. Wish for at least a glimpse of dp x dc. Nothing.

Me and my broken heart go to Ao3 because surely they will have some dead tired subnautica.

Boy oh boy.

They have 6 subnautica x dc x dp at first glance. None that sang to my heart though. Upon further investigation I found gold. A beautiful dead tired subnautica au ripe for the picking.

4 chapters of not exactly what I was looking for, but by god was it everything I needed. It was short, sweet, and left a 4,283 word hole in my heart.

I want more, I need more.

There is a sense of death that only seems to ghost with staying quiet for the better, hand over your mouth as you dare not to even dart your eyes, the quiet creaking of the floorboard squeaking with each step. The tanginess of the red coats your lungs, and the splinter the raw wood gives you stains your mouth. You'll hold your breath, count to ten, and then the creaks in the wood disappear into another bad dream.

Though, the blood of red snarled on the birch will not.

Im back on my bullshit soap box again but-

I think we only have this big of a problem of the massive disconnect between fanon and canon in Danny Phantom because we actively discourage people from wanting to watch the show.

And I can't even blame people...we like to talk a lot about the problems the show has (racism, sexism, fumbled writing, missed opportunities, a show with inconsistent worldbuilding, Butch Hartman-) but in turn I think it turns people away from ever getting into it.

If they already know they like the fan content, and they hear the real show has all of these problems, why should they waste their energy investing in something they were told they wouldn't like?

I've started playing Potion Permit, and so far it's one of my favorite games I've messed around with, but the most big brained move the devs made was giving you a dog on day 1, and then making that dog able to track NPCs and lead you directly to them no matter where they are in the town.
