"It's admirable how dedicated he is to his family. He'd do anything to keep Teucer's dreams alive as long as he can... I'll admit, it's not something I expected from him. Maybe it was amusing to see at first, how he'd trip over himself to see it happen and cover his work, but when I realized why he was doing it? He calls himself a bad guy, and I'm not sure I can agree with that. Not after seeing how much he loves his family. I hope someday Aether and I can be that close again..."

"Kazuha is like the breeze. He's quiet and calm... Peaceful to be around, and a breath of fresh air. It's nice to spend time with him, but I can't help but feel like there's things he hides - A loneliness even he's not sure what to do with. I wouldn't want to pry into his business - that's for him to sort out until he asks for help, of course - but I do hope if he needs it, he'll ask for help, even if it's just to spend a day with someone. This world can be a lonely place, and I don't want to see that ensnare Kazuha more than it has to. He's been through enough as it is. May he find peace."

"I'll never understand how Thoma does it. He does the cooking, cleaning, tending to the Kamisatos' needs, the shopping... He helps in town, sorts out the Yashiro Commission's issues, is there to lend a hand to anyone who asks it of him, and even when people don't. He does so much... I know those unwilling to accept him and looking at him as an outsider, but it seems... Unfair to me. There's a kind heart in him and so many still refuse to see it, or give him the time of day - I hope with the abolishment of the decrees, they'll start to see him in a different light. Thoma deserves the smiles he gives others, as well. I'd like to see that for him, at least."
