"It's admirable how dedicated he is to his family. He'd do anything to keep Teucer's dreams alive as long as he can... I'll admit, it's not something I expected from him. Maybe it was amusing to see at first, how he'd trip over himself to see it happen and cover his work, but when I realized why he was doing it? He calls himself a bad guy, and I'm not sure I can agree with that. Not after seeing how much he loves his family. I hope someday Aether and I can be that close again..."

"Kazuha is like the breeze. He's quiet and calm... Peaceful to be around, and a breath of fresh air. It's nice to spend time with him, but I can't help but feel like there's things he hides - A loneliness even he's not sure what to do with. I wouldn't want to pry into his business - that's for him to sort out until he asks for help, of course - but I do hope if he needs it, he'll ask for help, even if it's just to spend a day with someone. This world can be a lonely place, and I don't want to see that ensnare Kazuha more than it has to. He's been through enough as it is. May he find peace."

"I'll never understand how Thoma does it. He does the cooking, cleaning, tending to the Kamisatos' needs, the shopping... He helps in town, sorts out the Yashiro Commission's issues, is there to lend a hand to anyone who asks it of him, and even when people don't. He does so much... I know those unwilling to accept him and looking at him as an outsider, but it seems... Unfair to me. There's a kind heart in him and so many still refuse to see it, or give him the time of day - I hope with the abolishment of the decrees, they'll start to see him in a different light. Thoma deserves the smiles he gives others, as well. I'd like to see that for him, at least."

      His pace halted the moment he found himself standing in front of the wooden door of his house. Placing one hand into the pocket of his pants, fingers encircled the small inanimate object, pulling it out. It was the key to his home. He had just returned from a mission, and his body required some rest. A shower, some food and then some sleep. Nothing the extraordinary, yet so desired at this moment. And so, without hesitation, he inserted the item right in the key hole. With a few movement adjustements, and after hearing the approving sound that he wanted, he pushed the door, making his way inside his place—

                   … — !!

      Complexions of fireopal widened, as his nostrils picked up a different scent from what he was used to. Not to mention that his ears picked up a variety of frail sounds. Immediately, as well as inevitably, his thick brows furrowed, as he took up his pace again, this time it was less idle, beckoning danger, in an essence. He followed the sounds as well as the odour, leading him to his bathroom. Not wasting another second, his palm was placed on the door, pushing it with ferocity.

      Only to spot this.

      It took him a moment to comprehend with the current situation. It was none other but the stone mage known as Evergreen, laying on his bathtub, covered with water full of foaming bubbles. And the reason was unbeknown to him. Not that it mattered. Blinking several times, his eyes widened, and once he recognized the fact that he was staring at his fellow comrade who happened to take a bath, he immediately averted his gaze. Ineluctably, a shade of pink saturated his face. He lifted one arm, as a wide open palm was placed upon his face. 

      He was about to exit the room, acknowledging the fact that this wasn’t the right circumstance to seek for the obvious answers. But before he could perform such act, her voice stopped his tracks. Not even daring to hurl a glare at her, he remained silent only for a brief moment, soon to offer his own response.

      ❛ You are the one that should have warned me.                   But fear not, you’re in deep trouble, youn’ lady. ❜

      Not necessarity; a mere scold is all what he meant. And yet with those words, he took his leave, closing the door behind him. Talk about an unexpected situation that he found himself in. Not to mention, bothersome.
