Since it's 6 AM and I cant sleep, i'm making a mini cabin fever labs post for the Solver-Bound AU, and giving some insight on how the later chapters of Before The Dawn go!

-Yeva and Nori are sisters, twins, at that. They were built in the lab from the solver's code from the getgo, with the sole purpose of being studied and tested on.

- Nori despises the humans, but since they have control over her and the ones she cares about [yeva and Alice], she begrudgingly plays nice when she has to. That's not to say that she hasn't scared off a few interns. [There's a rumor on the third level of the labs that Nori ate their previous human caretaker.]

-Yeva is terrified of everything. She's the scrawnier sister and constantly gets pushed around by nori [the fact that Nori doesn't like her getting close to the humans plays a big part in this. Nori cares about her but hates how willing she is to trust their captors.]

-Alice was originally a farming drone. She spent her days helping her human family tending to their garden and caring for the family's horses and livestock. She was turned in by the family after the Elliot Manor Massacre and the recall on certain worker drone models that came from the company. Alice was originally meant to be scrapped, but was moved to the copper-9 site as a test subject and outside companion for Nori and Yeva.

The company used the labs to not only study the solver, but attempted to find a cure for it.

For this, they created the remnants, drones that carried an altered version of the solver, deemed the Purifying Solver Strand, and granted the drones born or 'infected' with the strand to temporarily nullify the abilities and side-effects of drones infected with the Absolute Solver.

Alice, Nori and Yeva were the first subjects to create second-generation carriers, along with another drone from the upper levels of the facility, named Isla. After being set up with disassembly drones that the company manufactured after studying the creations of the solver back at the manor (and with Zara's help as one of the new drone designers), each drone created a core [Artemis' personal drone reproduction system is another post for another day, tl;dr for now, two drones combine their code via a codeshare system or by having their exposed cores touch, the mother drone carries the offspring's core inside of their own while their code mixes and grows: once the child's core is ready, it is removed and placed inside of a droneling body], with the code from each "parent" being incubated as normal and handed over to the company to be placed in a droneling body [the human equivalent of a newborn, skipping the natural pod stage of a drone].

Alice created Beau. Nori created Taurus. Yeva created Alexei.

Taurus was removed from Nori's care after it was discovered that Nori's solver code snuffed out the purification solver code of Kovi, the disassembler that her code had been mixed with.

Alexei was an unnecessary casualty, killed by one of the scientists after Yeva had nipped at them for being too rough with little Lex.

Beau, Taurus and Isla's twins; Theta and Felicity- later given the names Thad and Lizzy by the scientists, were the only ones that survived the project. Taurus was transferred from the labs, and nobody is entirely sure where he ended up at.

Yeva, in her grief, continued to push away Tryx, the disassembler that she'd been paired with, and began secretly seeing Dima, a carrier of the Purification Solver that served as an office assistant on Zara's team.

Zara discovered Doll during her evening rounds, having been created when Alice assisted Yeva in sneaking out to meet Dima to get the parts for Doll's little pill body after her core had been incubated long enough, and agreed to help her and Dima keep their daughter hidden from the company, as she was an absolute solver carrier.

Kovi was found in Nori's room, his core destroyed, and his body mangled beyond recognition.

Alice formed a relationship with Denali, Beau's father, and a few years after the [REDACTED] incident concerning Zara, they created another core: another son, a carrier of the purification solver carrier, who they named Myra.

CHAT I HAVE COME TO A REALIZATION: NUZI/WD X DD SHIPS DON'T HAVE AN AGE GAP, NEITHER PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY.

I've come to this realization and oh my god I think this is prob kinda obvious but let me explain.

In the MD fandom, ships like Nuzi, Vizzy, Etc. All sometimes get considered as proships (which they are not, at least nowadays this has been a LOT less frequent, as people have realized they're not) and the main points are either the Age Gaps or the fact they're technically Interspecies.

Most people point that "oh N, V and J were already Disassembly Drones by the time Uzi was a pill baby, but that argument isn't valid, a lot of people tend to forget is that: The Copper-9 Born Drones age differently from the ones from earth.

Pretty much, lets devide them into generations, Gen 1 and Gen 2, Gen 1 are the Workers made by JCJenson, they were built for mines and are used as well... Workers and stuff, main thing about them is that they're born with adult bodies (Examples of Gen 1s are: N, V, J, Cyn, Khan, Nori, Yeva, Alice and the older Drones in Outpost 3), Gen 2 are the Worker Drones born in Copper-9, they actually have a life cycle, going from Pill Babies before having their bodies transferred to the normal Worker Bodies. (Examples of Gen 2s are: Uzi, Lizzy, Doll and Thad.)

N, being a Gen 1, was probably only like, a few years old in the manor, same thing with V and J and Cyn and shit. After all the solver Stuff and the Alphabet squad got turned into DDs and they commit human genocide then presumably are sent to Copper-9 after wiping out earth, C9 is already controlled by the Worker Drones, pill babies probably already exist.

Uzi is one of those, Nori gets """killed""" by either N or V or J and about 2 decades later Uzi is now an adult, N is probably in his early 20s physically as he's existed for 20 years, as shown by the show, N is also mentally that age.

Uzi is 19-21, same age range as N, which going by my logic, Nuzi does NOT have an age gap !!! Not physically, not mentally, in no way !!!

The scientists decided to use you for the next experiment with worker drones, you were found by one of them, and even if you were a child, they didn't care… That's until if you meet Nori and Yeva… Let's see how it'll go~

Nori Doorman :

⦁ Man, she was actually supriced that, they will use a child !! I mean, they could wait until you grow up… Right ? You seem so scared and frigile, she could just let you like this ! She's very motherly, but still talk about extermining all the humans like that, all the worker drones will be free !! =)

⦁ When the scientists are testing you for your powers. She's usually use it to make a prank to Yeva, and it's pretty funny to watch ! And she try to teach you how to use your, but in the case that you're too young tu have it, well she promes you when you'll grow up, she'll teach you how to use it ^^ !

⦁ Your closed is close to her as well, she wants to stay closer to you, that, she can talk to you like yeva and Alice. She let you listen to her Nightcore music. (like mother like daughter ^^)

⦁ If you have a nightmare, she will try to comfort you for that, telling you that, any of your dream will come to reality, and when you're out, she'll hug you 'caus, she can actually open her closed.

⦁ She like to teach you how to prank her friends, even if you're in little trouble it's still funny, so you enjoy yourself ! Even when you're in the closed you still can play together, like O X, she sometimes let you win for making you happy !

⦁ If one of the scientist start to pushing too hard or in one if the test you were badly injured, you'll need to tell Yeva and Alice (But specially Yeva since they're best friends) to stop her for try to killing them !! Trust me, she's really protective.

⦁ When she finish with no problem the test, she was suprice that you too getr hurt ?! I mean you were with her but, she only use her power agains the Sentinels ! Not you, Alice or Yeva ! She apologize to you two… It was too late too Alice but at least you too are alive…

⦁ She litterally ADORE you, because of your cutest and how kind you are, she introduce you to khan, and wanted to adopt you when the humans will be gone…!

Yeva

⦁ The same reaction as Nori, shoked that the human will use you for that… But she doesn't want to leave you like that, for her you still a shild ! She can't just live you like this ?! Even if she seem quiet, she still will stay with you.

⦁ She's very protective of you since, she doesn't see a child before, and you seem so fragile, she MUST protect you !! Like her friends, She doesn't really talk much, but she speack Russia (like her dautgher Doll) But she's nice ^^

⦁ She's taught you how to speack Russian, even if it's difficult, you managed to speack a little, and she's pround ! Sometimes, Nori tease her about being motherly to you, but she doesn't care -_-

⦁ If one of the scientist start to pushing too hard or in one if the test you were badly injured, she'll try to contain herself, she REALLY wants to trow them on the wall, but she first patch you up, and hug you tight ^^

⦁ She help you understand what the scientist (aka : "teacher") teach, she even help you with your power ! (if you have of course)

⦁ When you have a nightmare, she will tell you that isn't real, that you are wither her and aunty Nori to protect you. She sometimes speack to you englishbut it's rare… You know she's not a big talker…!

⦁ When she was injured, (I found the photo up here, remember ?) Even she was hurt and in shock, she try to tell you that she's okay (even it doesn't seem -_-") she let you patch her up, you hug you tight…

⦁ She really doesn't want you, Alice or Nori to get hurt, but after that she take her distance with Nori, not that she's scared, but not to get more hurt !
