Amazing then. I just wish there was no ban on artists because we are facing the loss due to politics, heavy loss.
You like Ali Zafar ?
Yep, since school, when his album Masty came out. I bought the album actually. His song Sajania used to be the highlight during our tuition classes and also used to play on TV from time to time. Then this man kept coming with more songs, poetry, movies. He’s multitalented. You should definitely watch his film Teefa in trouble. I love that film.

As a visual and sonic delight, Larsha Pekhawar by Ali Zafar preserves the linguistic authenticity of the song while the tribute leaves music fans dancing in their seats to the beats of a rousing chorus of beats. It is currently the most popular video on YouTube.

Indian singers adapted Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's Qawwalis in their songs
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a Sufi qawwal, was an exceptionally talented musician. He produced some of the most memorable tunes when he was still alive. His songs and qawwalis have still remembered, sung, re-sung, and altered 24 years after his death. This is a reality that cannot be disputed.
There have two Indian adaptations of NFAK songs. “Akhiyan Udeek Diyan” a song from the upcoming film ‘Shiddat’ has granted credit by the composers. It’s important to note that ethical practises had adhered to. As a result, NFAK has given credit for being the original composer of the hypnotic piece.

Moreover, Neha Kakkar and Farhan Sabri adapted “Dulhe Ka Sehra” and “Bol Kaffara” by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and gave credit where credit was due.

NFAK’s qawwalis and songs have appeared in Bollywood adaptations and rip-offs over the years notable examples including the famous “Mera Piya Ghar Aya” and “Kinna Sona Teno Rab Ne Banaya“.
As long as credit has provided, it’s always nice to see sectors appreciate. They create a bigger audience for other industries’ work.
