Horizon

The ship ferrying his comrades to Kugane was well beyond the horizon before Urianger finally took a deep breath and returned to Mor Dhona. He was most glad that he was able to set his relationship with Alisaie out of the darkened pall of betrayal to the slow sunrise of recovery. Their relationship could never be the easy, lighthearted, well-defined sort it had been in Sharlyan, but he yet hoped that it would return to aught worthwhile.

And Rowan... Mistress Argentas would want to know that her gift made it to her daughter. He would find the meaning of the glass pumpkin from her, and possibly glean what would cause such an out pouring of affection from Rowan. He quickly wrote that the gift was received and the recipient was overjoyed to see it. With an inquiry as to the object's meaning, he called the letter finished. Rowan's embrace he would keep to himself.

To those people, for clarity sake, please stop shipping Finney with the Grabber. Don’t sexualize it because both Finney and Mason (the Actor who played as Finney) is a Minor and Ethan Hawke is in his 50s, which makes the grabber in his 50s too. If you payed attention in the movie, you know Finney HATES the grabber. So please stop shipping it.

After giving Urianger a kiss goodnight and watching him teleport back to Mor Dhona, Rowan hesitated at the gate of her newly reclaimed home. Mama was staying the night and there was only one conversation they could possibly have.

"He really is quite handsome, isn't he?" Mama started.

"I tend to think so," Rowan said, gathering dishes and placing them in the sink.

"And his voice! Thank you for steering the conversation back from the realm of aetherial but I almost wouldn't have minded just listening to him ramble!"

"Urianger's fairly coherent if you pay attention. He enjoyed teaching Ryne during his time on the First." 

"Who?" Mama tilted her head as she came to the sink to help clean up.

"A young woman, about the Leveilleur twins' age." Has she met Alphinaud and Alisaie? "They're all, uh, sixteen or seventeen summers, I believe."

Mama nodded and handed Rowan a tea cup to dry off. They had cleaned their cups from their tea before she asked, "Does he treat you well?"

"Aye." There was more to that question but Rowan wasn't going to reveal anything without further prompting.

"Urianger seems so tender with you. He seems more timid than when I met him to go to Rhalgr's Reach. He wasn't very outgoing then but it's like he... hurt you in some way and is trying to make up for it."

"It was for a good - he doesn't - he doesn't want to hurt me anymore." Rowan grimaced. That was not the right thing to say.

"What did he do to you, darling?" Mama's voice got icy. "I'll either have it from you or rend it from him."

Rowan sighed and pulled her mother towards the couch. "Urianger has it in his head that he has to do things alone. Instead of asking for help or... criticism on his plans he hides them. It would have been fine if he told me what would have happened. I would have agreed with the actions, but he kept the details from me to - to shield me of all things."

"He kept secrets to keep you safe? Did it even work?"

She shook her head. "Nay. Not in the end. We all made it out alive but even if he was forthright with only Y'shtola it may have been better. But the Exarch asked Urianger to keep it all a secret from us so... he did."

"If he was asked to keep that secret, then Urianger was only the accomplice. Which does not absolve him of the guilt he should feel for hurting you."

"I daresay it may haunt him to the grave. But despite all that, I want to be with him. I've never felt more safe than when I'm in his arms, or actually understood for once."

"I only fear that he'll lie to you again, darling."

"Everyone lies, Mama. And everyone has expectations that I save them. Urianger has at least declared that he regrets doing so, and that he wants to change. He always sought to help me with my burdens. He knows he can't take them from me. But he tries his damndest to make sure I get through the trials I have before me."

Mama's face softened and she sighed. "I suspect that no man would ever be worthy of you, my darling. But a man who strives to be worthy is close."

Hey guys, it’s Ragz Pizzle here. I usually don’t make shit like this, cause main of the time all you see from me is things I draw on my head, but I wanna talk to y’all about something, and it’s actually driving me crazy, and if I don’t do something about this, then I would probably have a mental breakdown over it. So, what am I talking about may I ask? Well, if you see me from The Black Phone Fandom, which I don’t think I’m that noticed there, but I would usually sometimes click on the “Albert Shaw” Tag on this app, since obviously I simp for The Grabber, and would sometimes draw Ship Art of myself with him, but sometimes, everytime I go in there, I have to see this fucking Alfinn Blog on Tumblr. Not only that, but sadly I feel like this ship is starting to get popular on The Black Phone Fandom. This is a very horrible thing, and I will try to explain in a detailed way on why this is such a big deal, and why it is upsetting for some people. I just wanna come cross off, Finney literally hates Albert. Albert kidnapped him and beated the hell out of him when Finney tried to escape, and I have a feeling that he probably did way worse to him as well, along with the other boys he took. Second of off, The Grabber is a grown ass man (I believe he is at least 51 years old), while Finney is at least 13 years old. Third, and the most important reason why this ship is so harmful, not only Finney is a Minor, BUT THE ACTOR WHO PLAYED THAT CHARACTER is also a Minor! I absolutely cannot stand the fact that people think this is ok, and not only there’s a Alfinn Account on Tumblr, but there’s one on fucking TikTok, and the thing that really upset me the most, is that there was this really one cool person who made Black Phone Fanarts, and gosh they looked absolutely beautiful, but I checked on their page if they made any new ones, only for them to post about their private account that was a Alfinn Account. I was upset about this because as like I said, they had so much potential for their content, but looks like we can’t have good things these days. So you are telling me, Alfinn Shippers would be ok Scott Free posting fanart or fanfics about their Proship Relationship, and not get any Flashbacks at all, but as soon someone says that they have a crush on The Grabber or make something about themselves with them, all of the sudden there told to off themselves? This just makes me really mad mainly because Grabber x Self Insert Shippers literally didn’t do shit, so I don’t know why we are the ones getting hate? Before I end this off, let me just ask for this. If you sort some of way, think/ship/support Alfinn, or support someone who thinks this ship is ok, I hope you know that I want you to get off of my fucking account. Because proshippers, especially ones that ship actual underage actors, will never be welcome on my account, nor do they deserve access to the internet. Just know also, if you are following me, and I find out you are a Alfinn Shipper, you are just gonna get blocked for it. Just warning you now, don’t follow me if you are a Alfinn Account/Supporter or you will get what I told you what you are gonna get.
