Since I've done the province, might as well show my reimagined/redesigned APH Canada, Alexander Hyatt
The name Alexander comes from John A. MacDonald's middle name and Alexander Galt's first name, two political men and founders of the Canadian federation (and very controversial figures, but the name fitted), while Hyatt is the last name of my own city's founder, Gilbert Hyatt, a loyalist.
Finally he's a fan of the Ottawa's Senator hockey team, he's sure of himself, a bit curt and arrogant, but he doesn't seem to notice it.
(That's the thing about you plastics, you think everybody is in love with you, when in fact, everybody hates you)
I'll probably make more headcanon posts or comics with him and the provinces eventually

'WCW POWER HOUR' 01.02.93 Recap + Review - Bagwell & Armstrong vs. Windham & Pillman, Big World Title Announcement
Tumblr media
AIRDATE: January 2, 1993 COMMENTATORS: Tony Schiavone & “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko
WCW begins their New Year with Power Hour, featuring a tag team main event pitting Brad Armstrong & Marcus Alexander Bagwell against Barry Windham & Brian Pillman, plus some big news as a new World Champion has been crowned…at a house show in Baltimore during the week.
CHAMPIONS
WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Big Van Vader
WCW UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: “Ravishing” Rick Rude
WCW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION: Scott Steiner
WCW/NWA UNIFIED WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat & Shane Douglas
LINEUP
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Joe Cruz (SQUASH)
Scotty Flamingo vs. Keith Cole (*)
Brad Armstrong & Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs. Barry Windham & Brian Pillman (**1/2)
*****
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Joe Cruz
Right at the bell Schiavone announces some huge news: Big Van Vader is World Champion once again, having defeated Ron Simmons on Wednesday in Baltimore. More to come later today on Saturday Night. Cruz has the weight advantage but not much else and Scorpio easily dispatches him with various aerial moves, including a skin the cat into a slingshot splash and finally a 450 Splash to win.
2 Cold Scorpio defeated Joe Cruz via pinfall (2:44)
JON’S THOUGHTS: Scorpio out here casually busting out 450 Splashes in 1993, turning the crowd into that exploding head guy from Scanners. Love it. (SQUASH)
-Schiavone and Zbyszko hype the next Clash of the Champions, scheduled for January 13th, which will feature an Arm Wrestling contest between “Heavy Metal” Van Hammer & Tony Atlas.
-CLIP (12/19/92 Worldwide): Van Hammer defeats Ron Simmons to win WCW’s Strongest Arm competition put on by Jesse “The Body” Ventura. Hammer’s ceremony is interrupted by Tony Atlas, who says he was too late to enter the contest but HE’S the one with the strongest arm in WCW.
-PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION PAID FOR BY THE FOLLOWING: Zap Pack’s video game trading cards, GI Joe action figures, and Predator 2 for Sega Genesis and Game Gear.
Scotty Flamingo vs. Keith Cole
Cole overpowers Flamingo to start, keeping control with a side headlock until Flamingo finally stuns him with a belly-to-back suplex. Cole counters an abdominal stretch with a hip toss, Flamingo goes back on the offensive with a series of kicks and a bearhug. Cole won’t stay down though, kicking out of Flamingo’s  pinfall attempts and fighting back with lefts and a clothesline. Flamingo catches a charging Cole with an elbow and finishes him off with an airplane spin into a Samoan Drop for the 1…2…3.
Scotty Flamingo defeated Keith Cole via pinfall (4:46)
JON’S THOUGHTS: Flamingo may have gotten the win but Cole looked like the stronger man here, kicking out of every other pinning attempt in rapid fashion. Also it has to be said: Keith Cole has the GREATEST mullet I have ever seen on a human being. It is amazing, the perfect level of trash. Knowing the trajectory of Flamingo’s career in the 90s I have no idea what he’s got left to do in WCW under the gimmick. Could be a Michael Wallstreet circa 91 situation where he just suddenly…vanishes. (*)
-Teddy Long hypes up the 8-Man ThunderCage scheduled (SCHEDULED) to main event January 13th’s Clash of the Champions special. Clips aplenty play showing the major feuds going into the match (Ron Simmons/Rick Rude, Sting/Big Van Vader, Dustin Rhodes/Barry Windham, Van Hammer/The Barbarian, the final grouping having no real beef with each other but we paired everybody else off so whatever).
-Schiavone and Zbyszko discuss January 13’s scheduled (SCHEDULED) Bounty Match between Erik Watts and Cactus Jack then take it to footage from Jack’s match at last year’s show, a Falls Count Anywhere contest against Van Hammer from the 1.21.92 Clash. It’s a helluva thing mostly thanks to Jack’s bumps but sadly the show does not give us the whole thing, instead cutting to Missy Hyatt mid-move for the next segment. Booo.
-Missy Hyatt wants Erik Watts to make her his manager, as he needs someone to guide him. Cut to a clip from Saturday Night in 1992 where Rick Rude snaps off a Rude Awakening on the concrete floor. Watts makes it to the apron and Rude suplexes him back in…and now we’re back to Hyatt who continues pleading her case for becoming his manager.
Brad Armstrong & Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs. Barry Windham & “Flyin” Brian Pillman
Windham muscles Armstrong into the corner, Armstrong quickly fights his way out to reset. Armstrong drops Windham with a shoulder tackle followed by a dropkick into a side headlock takeover. Windham counters with a headscissors, Armstrong kicks his way out and a shoving match breaks out before the ref is forced to intervene. Schiavone brings up Armstrong & Windham’s history, the two having battled over the U.S. Heavyweight Championship at the second-ever Clash of the Champions. Pillman, Armstrong’s former Light Heavyweight Championship rival, tags in and gets dropped with an enzuigiri. Pillman misses one of his own, Bagwell tags in and goes after Pillman’s leg to ground the high-flier. Windham tags in, Bagwell surprises him with a dropkick and back body drop. Bagwell brings Windham to the canvas with a side headlock, Windham escapes but eats a pair of dropkicks followed by an armdrag into an armbar. Pillman sneaks a tag in and traps Bagwell in a side headlock. Bagwell catches a flying Pillman with a shot to the midsection followed by a dropkick and armdrag. Pillman sends Bagwell into Windham’s knee, Windham tags in and drives an elbow to the back of the neck. Bagwell fires back but misses a clothesline and Windham puts him into the canvas with a DDT, popping the crowd.
Windham connects with a belly-to-back suplex, Pillman tags in and comes off the buckles with  an elbowdrop for the 1…2…Bagwell kicks out, Pillman settles into a chinlock. Pillman tosses Bagwell to the floor behind the ref’s back, avoiding a DQ. Bagwell catches Pillman with a crossbody but Windham ties up the ref too long and only ends up with a one-count at best. Pillman traps Bagwell in an abdominal stretch, Windham pulling on the arm for extra leverage just out of the ref’s view. Bagwell escapes with a hip toss and crawls under Pillman’s legs to make the hot tag to Armstrong. All four men battle in the ring, ref forces Bagwell out and Windham & Pillman hit a proto Total Elimination (Pillman clipping the knee, Windham connecting with a lariat), Pillman covering Armstrong for the 1…2…3!
Barry Windham & Brian Pillman defeated Brad Armstrong & Marcus Alexander Bagwell via pinfall (9:22)
JON’S THOUGHTS: Having jumped from 1991 to 1993 in my WCW lookback I was a little surprised to see Pillman & Windham as a heel tag team given how heated their feud was back in the day, taped fist matches and the like. They worked really well together and I liked the finish a lot. Schiavone bringing up Armstrong’s history with Windham was a nice way to give some flavor to this one and I want to go back and watch that match now. (**1/2)
-Schiavone and Zbyszko hypes tonight’s Saturday Night, where a tournament will begin to get a shot at Rick Rude’s United States Heavyweight Championship.
*****
FINAL THOUGHTS
Disappointing that we didn’t get the full Van Hammer/Cactus Jack match from last year’s Clash, but besides that Power Hour was a breeze to get through. Main event tag team match was fun, loved seeing 2 Cold Scorpio in action, and the tease about Big Van Vader regaining the World Championship during the week did a good job hyping Saturday Night for later in the day.

Listen to Natalie Sist interview Wayne Saalman on Blog Talk Radio, Wednesday 04th October 2023
Wayne Saalman author of The Journey Across Forever: A Magical Provocative Odyssey Across the Ages, Around the World & into the Great Beyond
He was born in Ohio in the USA. He is a novelist, poet, painter, musician and songwriter. His books have been lauded by Dr Christopher S Hyatt, Robert Anton Wilson, Timothy Leary, Michael Hayes, Ken Bruen, Jason Starr and Colonel John B Alexander.
Wayne reveals what the physicist, the mystic and all seekers of truth have in common and explains why climate change, the power of social media, the threat of “apocalyptic” politics and the nefarious appeal of the dark web are a spiritual challenge for each of us. Above all, The Journey Across Forever deeply explores why we must heed the words, here and now, of those who have had a near-death experience if we genuinely believe in the reality of spiritual immortality and wish to make our way to higher dimensions upon our own exit from this planet.

Manifesting My Dream – Victoria Hyatt Interview
Tumblr media
Listen to the Interview Here: Manifesting My Dream – Victoria Hyatt
Vivien: Hello and welcome to the Schapera Show, where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. Our guest today is another colleague and friend of mine, Victoria Hyatt, who has conquered her fears to manifest her dream career. Victoria is a dancer, a Physical Therapist and an Alexander Teacher and she has put them all together in a unique way. Hello Victoria, thank you for coming on the show.
Victoria: Thank you for having me!
Vivien: Victoria, I think we should begin with some background info. What’s your backstory?
Victoria: I grew up in the Washington DC area, studying dance quite seriously. Initially I studied Ballet with the Washington Ballet and later my focus shifted toward Modern Dance. I earned my BFA in Dance from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. After completing college, I moved to New York to continue to study and pursue a dance career. In NY, I primarily studied with the Erick Hawkins Dance company and also performed with several independent choreographers. While studying at Hawkins I met Cynthia Reynolds, who was a member of the company and a teacher in the school. She was also an Alexander Teacher and she encouraged me to try lessons in the Technique. I was so impressed by the work that I knew immediately that I had to train to become a Teacher. I completed my training at the American Center for the Alexander Technique in New York in 1992. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Duke University in 2001 and now practice both as a PT and as an Alexander Teacher. My specialty area of practice in Physical Therapy is working with dancers, both to prevent and to treat injuries. Working with dancers is a full circle experience for me, as I am able to put my passions for dance, movement study/analysis, and healing together. To further my ability to work with dancers, I am currently in training with Body Arts and Sciences International to become a Pilates Instructor.
Vivien: Were you born to do this? Were you attracted to dance from an early age?
Victoria: Yes! Exactly that. My interest in dance came in early childhood. My mother took me to see a performance of Coppelia at the Kennedy Center. I was enchanted, and hooked! I began classes immediately and was a serious student throughout my childhood. In my senior year of the dance program at UMass, I took a Kinesiology course and I just loved it! I remember feeling that it was the first time in my life that I had felt so engaged by an academic topic. I wanted to find a way to use this information professionally and at that point became interested in PT. However, the requirements to enter PT school required nearly all of the coursework to go Pre-Med and I had done very little of it during college. I felt intimidated, especially by the requirements to study Chemistry and Physics, so I put it on the back burner. I continued to study and pursue dance.
Vivien: Then, what was it about the Alexander Technique that caught your attention?
Victoria: My first experience with the Alexander Technique was life changing. After spending my entire life studying movement and trying so hard to do everything right, I had developed a good bit of tension in my body. The first time I had a hands-on experience with the AT, I was utterly blown away that such a light touch could induce such profound change in me, and that I could experience myself so differently. As I said, I knew immediately that I needed to train. I also was seeking a way out of the starving artist lifestyle of waiting tables and doing temp work to get by in New York.
Vivien: But there’s always more, right?

electrical appliance and civil plastic products
Another invention of plastic called celluloid was developed by john Wesley Hyatt. Plastic is the most versatile material that is used in most applications today. Plastic injection molding is commonly used for creating various parts of cars, from tiniest elements to the whole body components.. This machine is a simpler version of today39;s injection molding machine. was initially established in 1988,but presently it is located in Far East Industrial Park, Yuyao City , Zhejiang Province. It is used to produce vast amount of parts. Based on over 10 year of indomitable efforts our company has adopted a service mode for product development ,mould-designing and making ,plastic injection-moulding and finished product-assembly in a coordinated process with the moulds-making and plastic products-processing as the mainstay .
Aside from creating various components of a car, injection molding is also used for almost plastic goods such Twin screw barrel for extruder as bottle caps, wire pools, packaging, pocket combs and some gadget components. This process involves feeding of material into barrel that is heated, afterwards, the material was mixed then placed into a cavity where it is allowed to harden and cooled. The wide range used of this material has made a great impact in most industrial world. This is a process of manufacturing plastic by using thermosetting plastic and thermoplastic substance. The common advantages of plastic mold are low labor cost, scrap losses are minimized, vast rate of production, finishing of parts is minimized and wide range of materials are can be utilized.
This product was an improved version of Parkes39;s invention. This process is widely used way in developing parts.,Ltd . The product was design mostly by an engineer or an industrial engineer. One of the processes in creating plastic product today is called plastic mold. The latters are subcontract products for motors ,intelligence robots ,auto accessories ,electrical teaching equipment ,office belongings ,medical devices ,gymnastic apparatuses ,kitchen minor electrical appliance and civil plastic products ,etc. This product is can be molded, heated and usually retains it shape when it is cooled, thus the downside of this is, it is extremely flammable, expensive and easy to crack. The first plastic product called Parke sine was created by Alexander Parkes in 1851. It is through John Wesley Hyatt and his brother wherein the first molding injection machine was developed. It has had customers throughout the United States ,Japan ,Korea and over 20 domestic provinces and municipalities. After the molded product was harden and cooled, a machine called precision-machined, with the supervision of a mold-maker, is used to form the specific feature of a part of a specified product.

In version 2.0.2, released on October 31, 2005, it had finally included modifications on Acid2 bug fixes.

These major changes were initially unavailable for end-users unless they privately installed and compiled the WebKit source code or ran one of the nightly automated builds available at OpenDarwin. Apple touted this version as it was capable of running a 1.8x speed boost compared to version 1.2.4 but it did not yet featured the Acid2 bug fixes.

Safari 2.0 which was released on April 29, 2005, was the sole browser Mac OS X 10.4 offered by default. His experiment beta passed the Acid2 rendering test on April 27, 2005, marking it the first browser to do so. In April 2005, Engineer Dave Hyatt fixed several bugs in Safari. Safari's predecessor, the Internet Explorer for Mac, was then included in 10.3 as an alternative.

On Mac OS X v10.3, Safari was pre-installed as the system's default browser, rather than requiring a manual download, as was the case with the previous Mac OS X versions. Later that date, several official and unofficial beta versions followed until version 1.0 was released on June 23, 2003. Apple released the first beta version exclusively on Mac OS X the same day. On January 7, 2003, at Macworld San Francisco, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced Safari that was based on the company's internal KHTML rendering engine fork WebKit. For over a year, it was privately referred to as 'Alexander', which means strings in coding formats and 'iBrowse' prior to Safari was conceived. īefore the name Safari, a couple of others were drafted including the title 'Freedom'. In May 2000, Microsoft ultimately released a Mac OS X edition of Internet Explorer for Mac, which was bundled as the default browser in all Mac OS X releases from Mac OS X DP4 to Mac OS X v10.2.

In these periods, Microsoft announced three major revisions of Internet Explorer for Mac which were used by Mac OS 8 and Mac OS 9, though Apple continued to support Netscape Navigator as an alternative. It was later replaced by Microsoft's Internet Explorer for Mac within Mac OS 8.1 under the five-year agreement between Apple and Microsoft. Prior to 1997, Apple's Macintosh computers were shipped with the browsers Netscape Navigator and Cyberdog. Pictured from left to right: Netscape Navigator, Cyberdog and Internet Explorer for Mac were the predecessors of Safari. As of September 2021, it was ranked as the second most-used web browser after Google Chrome, with an approximate 18.43% of market share worldwide, and 38.88% in the US. The Safari Developer Program, which granted members the privilege to develop extensions for the browser was available for $USD 99 per year.

It received criticism for its approach to software distribution and its past limitations of ad blockers. In the Pwn2Own contest at the 2008 CanSecWest security conference, Safari caused Mac OS X to be the first OS to fall in a hacking competition. The fifteenth version (July 2021) is the current revision, featuring a redesigned interface.Īpple used a remotely updated plug-in blacklist license to prevent potentially dangerous or vulnerable plugins from running on Safari. The fourteenth version, released in November 2020, was 50% faster than Google Chrome, and consumed less battery than other standard competitors. The thirteenth version included various privacy and application updates such as the FIDO2 USB security key authentication and web Apple Pay support. In the eleventh version (September 2017), it added support for Intelligent Tracking Prevention. The fifth version (June 2010) introduced a less distracted page reader, extension and developer tools it was also the final version for Windows. The third generation (January 2007) brought compatibility to the iPhone via iPhone OS 1, while the Macintosh edition was topped with the fastest browser performance at that time. Safari was introduced within Mac OS X Panther in January 2003, and as of 2021, has progressed through fifteen major versions. It is supported on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS a Windows version was offered from 2007 to 2010. It succeeded Netscape Navigator, Cyberdog and Internet Explorer for Mac as the default web browser for Macintosh computers. It is primarily based on open-source software, and mainly WebKit. Safari is a graphical web browser developed by Apple.
