i have such a thing for age gaps...i blame society. also, i’m only including ghost, price, and alejandro because the other men are too young imo. ik some of their ages are debatable, so in my mind, ghost is at least 30.

Ghost

♡ honestly, i don't think my guy really gives a shit if there is an age difference between you two. like his morals are all skewed, and the last thing he'd waste time worrying about would be a *legal* age gap.

♡ being younger than him would just make his nicknames for you that much more adorable. he likes to add the words 'little' and 'tiny' in front of a lot of the things he calls you. "little mouse" "little dove" "tiny girl/boy"

♡ regardless of how much experience you have (with relationships, sex, etc) he will always act like he knows more than you. he can find himself treating you like you’re so innocent and new to everything--even if you do the same line of work as him, i.e. killing people. and it can definitely annoy you.

♡ it doesn’t matter how many people you’ve been with or how many people you’ve killed; no matter what, he knows more than you. and honestly, even tho it can annoy you sometimes, him being so dominant is just super hot.

♡ “simon, i know how to do it” you whined, as he wrapped his arms around you, showing you how to properly use a sniper. you were used to so many other guns, but not snipers. “mhm,” he mocked, stepping away from you. when you shot the gun, you missed your target by quite a few feet. your cheeks warmed and you hesitated before looking back at simon. his arms were crossed over his chest as he eyed you. you could tell he had a smug smile plastered across his face under his mask. he did not need his ego inflated any more than it already was.

Price

♡ price was definitely concerned when he first realized he had feelings for you. he knew you were of age, but that didn't stop the odd feeling he got when he was around you--like he was taking advantage of you.

♡ and his way of flirting was to act like your father… he thought he was being nice, showing you how to do stuff, always having your back. but my god was he appalled when you were frustrated with him one day after he keep hounding you about something.

♡ “Ok, dad! i get it!” “what did you just call me?” You heard the anger in his tone. shit, you were getting too comfortable around your captain, you should not have teased him like that. “S-sorry, captain. I didn’t mean—“ He cut you off, clearly agitated for a different reason than you being smart with him. “is that how you view me, doll? like a father?” if you said yes, price would know he needed to back off. he could take a hint. “No… I… You just wouldn’t get off my back. I was just trying to be funny.” You felt so embarrassed as you explained yourself. Price got into your space and grabbed your chin in his hand, titling your head up to look at him. you gulped. “you wanna call me endearments? go ahead. but don’t ever call me that again.” he looked at you a moment longer before turning away. suddenly fueled with adrenaline, you called after him. “what about daddy?” Price spun around quicker than you could register before he was pushing you backward, his hand tight in your hair as he yanked your head back to look up at him again with a gasp. “fuckin’ brat,” he muttered, a sly smile crossing his lips.

♡ as much as price truly does not care about your sexual history, he’d be lying if he said it didn’t turn him on a bit knowing how much more innocent you were than him. you could have slept with a bunch of people for all he cared, but knowing you were that much younger than him, he knew he had more experience than you regardless. and something about that sparked a flame in his chest. he had a thing for wanting to show you the ropes.. but he definitely felt guilty about thinking that way. he wouldn’t have been any less attracted to you knowing you slept with a hundred other people. he knew you being “innocent” shouldn’t turn him on. but it did…

♡ he is very possessive of you. doesn’t like the idea of other men thinking they have a chance with you. but he can get a bit self-conscious whenever a younger man approaches you or checks you out. “you really wanna be with an old man like me?” he’d ask. as confident as he is, in the beginning of your relationship, being so much older than you made him second guess himself. shouldn’t you want to be with someone your own age? “jesus, price. you’re only 37. you act like you’re knocking on hell's door.” he’d start tickling you for your bratty remark, but it definitely placated some of his nerves.

♡ and since he has more experience dating wise, he’d say “i love you” pretty early on. he’s not dating you thinking it’s some fling. he’s serious about you. and he’s lived long enough to know when he’s in love. and he’s not afraid to say it.

♡ you were saying goodbye to price as he went off on a mission. he’d only be gone a few days, but you’d hate every minute of it. he kissed you, his mustache tickling your lip. “i love you,” he murmured when he pulled away. he smirked as he appraised your stunned face. and he’d turn and leave before you had a chance to process his words, knowing you wouldn’t be able to get them out of your head the whole time he was gone.

Alejandro

♡ definitely feels bad at first, like he’s taking advantage of you. he reminds you all the time to tell him if you’re uncomfortable. that you can say no. he just doesn’t want you to feel used.

♡ as he gets more confident in the way you want him, he starts to use it against you. same as ghost, he mocks you as if you’re so innocent and inexperienced. “see, this is what they call a—“ “Yes, Ale. I know. I’m the one who showed you that.” resulting in a cheeky wink from him.

♡ during training, he embarrassed you in front of the others. when you messed up a move, he made a big deal showing you how to execute it properly even though you’ve been in the army for years now and knew how to do it in your sleep. he liked to see the way you’d get flustered with all the other guys around as he teased you.

♡ he definitely exudes a dominant side and it definitely comes out around you. he wants to do everything for you. wants to carry shit that’s too heavy for you. he wants to be your ride. the first person you call when you need help. he wants to be your everything.

♡ he also acts a little more dominant in bed than he would if he was with someone his age. something about you looking up at him with your sweet little doe-eyes sparked a dominating need within him. he takes control. he leads. he tells you what to do. he barks out commands. he punishes you for being bratty. he takes control in every sense of the word. The only time you can really hold anything over him is when he’s getting close to finishing. you’ll be able to get him to say whatever you want him to, his mind lost in a haze, wanting nothing more than to find the release you’re about to give him. “Please,” he begged. you smiled as you hovered above him. you sank back down on him and continued your motions, and he quickly climaxed. his hands squeezed your hips as he groaned. “fuckin’ perfect.”

Soap is romantic in that he draws you. He has a whole shelf full of old sketchbooks and half of them are filled with you. From mindless, messy doodles to works that took hours. Charcoal and graphite. With his hands he conveys to paper your beauty, and his love is seen in every stroke.

Gaz is romantic in that he always buys you flowers. From single roses to bouquets of carnations, barely three days go by without flowers in your home. Each one seems to speak volumes. He keeps them all, hanging them to dry in the garden shed. He's waiting for one bouquet in particular to join them.

Price is romantic in that he's always ready with a helping hand. You can do things on your own, sure, but he's always letting you know he's there. He always offers. Meals, cooking. cleaning, groceries. he's your shadow - because he cannot have you working yourself too hard.

Alejandro is romantic in that he plays you music. He hadn't touched a guitar in a long time until you moved in together, but he decided to play it once more before it would've gone back to a corner to collect dust. When he saw how your shoulders relaxed, and how you swayed when you recognized the song, that guitar never got dusty again.

And Ghost. The unreadable enigma. Ghost is romantic in that he writes about you. A single notebook stashed away in some dark corner holds his deepest secrets - poems that are all about his love for you. They're sweet, gentle, and they're passionate. Someday he'll read them to you, when he finally write one he thinks is good enough. In reality the first you hear isn't a poem at all. They're vows.

What Animal Los Vaqueros (+ Valeria)   Would Randomly Bring Home To You (GN - Headcanons)

(Note: This is just what I (My headcanons), enjoy reading!)(Could be seen as Platonic, Romantic?) (GN Reader) (Alejandro, Rodolfo and Valeria)

Alejandro Vargas 

- Where did Alejandro find a literal donkey? Neither of you knew, even Alejandro himself didn't know as he walks through the front door, his arms crossed as he watched the donkey peek her head into the kitchen window, pushing her face up against it to see in.

- When Alejandro spots you, his eyes open a bit wide as he bit his inner cheek, before scrambling to make an excuse. He came up with nothing and just admitted he found her while on a mission, and she was hungry and wouldn't stop chewing on Alejandro's shirt.

- Alejandro would chuckle and ask you for some help, cutting up some apples, carrots and bananas for the donkey who tried to get through the front door. Alejandro quickly ran off to ensure she didn't do that.. moving the donkey to the backyard instead.

- He's actually pretty decent at taking care of the donkey, and teased you, asking if you want to feed or ride her. He's joking, please don't ride the donkey, if you do..  He's standing right next to you, prepared to catch you or calm the donkey down so both you and the donkey will be safe.

- Alejandro's willing to find a new farm or home for the donkey if you don't like her, he would indeed tease You about it though, you don't like that cutie of a donkey? Cue the donkey trying to get through the front door, or looking through the kitchen at 3AM, when you go down for a glass of water, you just see eyes peering at you through the window, like hey... whatcha doing here?

- If you do let the donkey stay, cool. New pet, when Alejandro's home, he does care for her, feeds her every morning, brushes her, ensures she's cared for.

- (Alejandro basically just stole a donkey from someone) he shrugs and says he Just found her wandering far from any cities, and she was now his as he didn't find any owners around back then, he definitely wasn't finding one now.

- You will hear the donkey squeal or grunt throughout the night, or early in the morning, It is annoying at first, and you may never get used to It. Alejandro would get agitated after a few mornings of being back from missions and waking up to the donkey making weird noises outside because she got used to being fed whenever she was loud enough so now it became a habit.

- Alejandro would eventually get a small stall built for the donkey, makes it comfortable but also cute looking from the outside. (Also puts extra food to just attempt for the donkey to quiet down the neighbors have complained. You might be too, Alejandro is definitely grumbley about her being so loud, but puts up with it.

- Also ensures there is plenty of room for the donkey to do what she pleases.

- Alejandro once loudly screeched in the middle of the night, you scrambled out of bed when you heard it. Finding the man murmuring in Spanish, throwing insults and curses at the donkey who had her snout pressed against the window, the moon reflecting her eyes to make it ‘scary’ looking if you weren't paying attention.

If you laugh at him he would give you an unhappy half-glare, gently pushed your laughing face away from him as he shook his head, having had thought you put the donkey away in her pen earlier as it was 2AM.

If you attempt to ‘comfort’ him, he's looking away with a tiny blush on his face while laughing, pulling you close while shaking his head, he would put his hand to the window, and knock to get the donkey to go back to her stall that she somehow escaped.

If you just stayed in bed, he's thankful, at least you didn't hear that. But also, why aren't you getting up when you hear that he screeched, he doesn't know if that's a good or bad thing, a tiny bit offended.

Rodolfo 'Rudy' Parra:

- Rudy was picking you up in his car, a little squirmy as you got in the passenger seat, a little blanket on his lap, murmuring quietly to himself, a little distracted.

- If you ask what was ‘wrong’ Rudy would smile awkwardly and pull the blanket back a little bit, showing the little rabbit with one ear on his lap, the rabbit fast asleep. 

- He would indeed let you hold the rabbit on your lap instead as he drives, he calls the rabbit ‘Stompy’ as the rabbit stomps around to move. He would smile at you, watching you in the passage seat at a stop sign, he would move to pat your head.. then Stompy's head then going back to driving.

- What You didn't know.. there was two more at home, waiting for you. Three baby rabbits, Stompy (who just got home from the vet due to their ear), Chirps, and Flumpy, all siblings. Rudy would give a awkward and sheepish smile while rubbing your shoulder, like a ‘Please, don't be upset with this choice I made’ look on his face.

- If you do like the rabbits, great, Rudy is happy with keeping them, he takes all responsibility when he isn't working. He smiles warmly everytime he sees them, gets a little silently giddy about the fact he was the one to save these rabbits.

- If you don't like the rabbits, he will sigh quiet, but will figure out where to rehome these rabbits, will be upset for a little while, but wouldn't take it out on you. He would still smile sadly at you, but try his best to be supportive. If you have an allergy, he feels less bad about it, and willingly brought them to a new home.

- Rudy would always place the rabbits on you, gently nudging one of rabbits snout against your cheek or your jaw with a smile, would either make a little ‘bonk’ or ‘mwah’ noise when he does.. then places a kiss on your head.

- Rudy does Make little cages for them, ones capable of being a ‘safe place’ for the rabbits, a soft little home for them in his house for then to sleep. Usually lets them ‘free’ around the house, you both could hear Stompy stomp about, always makes sure to keep an eye on the three rabbits.

- His eyes would soften every time he spots you cuddling, holding, or playing with one of the rabbits, his whole body and face relaxing as he never informs you that he is watching from the doorway, just watching quietly with a soft smile on his face.

- You would catch Rudy cutting up carrots to feed them as snacks throughout the day, quietly murmuring praise to the rabbits who followed him around, he would spot you and chuckle, looking a tad bit red as he would smile but quiet down when he was ‘caught’.

Valeria Garza:

- Valeria walks into the house confidently, smiling proudly as she holds a baby fox in her hands. Tilting her head and raising an eyebrow at you, like A silent ask I'd you were bold enough to question what she had done and where she had gotten a baby fox.

- If you don't she keeps smiling, scratching behind the baby fox’s ears, allowing you to pet him as well, but if you do ask to do so, she grabs your hand to pet the fox for you.

- Valeria illegally bought this fox, (the people who sold him have been.. dealt with as well) a beautiful little baby fox with a few small white spots on his orange fur. She held him like he was a new trophy she would bring home to you.

- If you don't like the fox, she will make a face.. Fine, perhaps she could keep the fox at her base instead of home, she will make a proper area for him, that you wouldn't be around.

- If you do like the fox, Valeria looks quite smug, humming in answer as she allows the fox to roam in the home, giving him his own little room. She would ensure his comfort, safety and also give him the best treatment no other animal would ever get.

- You often find Valeria talking on the phone with this little fox on her lap, she could go from harshly ordering people around to talking calmly as if not to scare the fox. The fox gets used to It, your hand could pet his head whilst Valeria's distracted, she would allow you to do what you please as long as you don't bring the fox outside the gated backyard.

-  Valeria treats this fox like her baby, like something that is now apart of her vast collection of things she adores.

- Valeria would randomly bring the baby fox to you, placing him on your lap and telling you to go feed him or go play with him because she's busy and unable or (she just doesn't want to) do it herself. She’d make it up to you later, perhaps a favor.. you want to be done?

- If you are holding or cuddling with the little fox, Valeria would randomly walk past, booping his nose, waiting for a moment, before doing the same to you and then going back to doing what she was doing. No questions asked, none will be answered.

✨WORRIED. The definition of a worrier once he sees that your head is resting on your desk fast asleep. Although yes he wants to laugh at the situation he needs to know that you’re okay first

✨Gently shakes you awake while whispering your name to not scare you considering it had happened before😅 by accident of course

✨Finally chuckles once he realized you were just tired from a long day of running errands and doing hours upon hours of paper work that price had asked of you. Though yes you had gotten most of them done, there was still atleast a bit more to go through but Ale refused to let you do it considering you had already burnt yourself out

✨Doesn’t take no as an answer and makes sure to treat you to your favorite things! Like food, dessert, run a bath for you and cuddle for the rest of the night. Wants you at your very best and refuses to let you work yourself like that again. Despite laughing at the situation he was actually worried

Simon

🖤Shuts the door behind him before making his way over to your sleeping form. Papers scattered around, pen in hand as your head rests upon the stack of papers underneath you. He moves a strain of hair away from your face before waking you up, careful to make sure nothing is knocked over to the floor

🖤Doesn’t let you continue no matter how much your protest and saying that you need to turn these in. He won’t hear it and makes you come home, also considering it was now quarter past 8 and you were supposed to clock out 15 minutes ago

🖤Runs you a hot bath and orders take out full on knowing that the both of you were too tired to cook let alone, want to clean up the aftermath

🖤Pulls you on top of him once you climb into bed and rests his chin upon your head, gently rubbing your arm in comfort. He knows he can’t really help you finish the paperwork but damn will try to ease your aching head and hands the best of his ability and make sure you get a good nights sleep

🥀Accidentally woke you up from him laughing at your state. Hair had become undone as your arm was slumped over across the desk, pen that was once in your hand was now on the floor, cap long gone to who knows where

🥀Helps to organize your things before taking you home where you much needed to be. The paper work can wait another day, it’s not like it needed to be done right away considering you have a full week to turn it in. Is honestly quite amazed that you got most of it done within a few hours

🥀Makes you dinner and turns on your favorite show/movie before settling down beside you despite you fussing over to finish the paperwork. He shakes his head in return and laughs at your determination before hushing you with a kiss. He knows you’re a hard worker but you also need to take care of yourself in order not to have another burn out

🥀Helps you settle into bed before climbing in himself and cuddling you from behind, using his weight to help ease your anxiety. Gently kissing along your neck before nuzzling into your hair

𝘒𝘺𝘭𝘦 '𝘎𝘢𝘻' 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬

Kyle doesn't often talk about his time in the Task Force, despite spending so much time there. It's not that he won't, or can't (except for some circumstances), it's just that he doesn't see much point in it. He'll answer questions when you ask, but he won't go out of his way to tell you about it all - unless Johnny made a funny joke that he cannot help but spout to you. He's close to Johnny - and to Price. Less so Ghost; but from what you've heard about the Lieutenant, that wasn't too unusual. When he's back, he's typically much more focused on you, and what you've done whilst he's been away. "And how's my sweetheart been, hm? Not getting into too much trouble, I would hope..."

Like the rest of the 141, he's gone a lot. He's a Sargent, he can't exactly decline very easily; and though he loves you dearly, he doesn't want to leave the force just yet. He feels that he has so much more that he can give, and doesn't want to waste that. He balances his time with the force and his time with you pretty well, though. He takes regular leave unless he is unable to for operations, and keeps in regular contact with you; mainly through calls and texts, or even through emails when phone signal gets scarce.

Gaz loves physical affection; he really likes holding hands with you when you're out and about. Not only is it a way of showing emotion between the pair of you, but it also means you can't wander off so easily. At home, he likes to be next to you - no matter what you're doing. You could be watching a film, doing housework, or just out on a walk - and Gaz is right there with you. He's also an acts of service man; he cleans, he cooks, surprises you with little bits and pieces when he thinks you might need that pick-me-up to your day.

𝒜𝓁𝑒𝒿𝒶𝓃𝒹𝓇𝑜 𝒱𝒶𝓇𝑔𝒶𝓈

Alejandro's life in Los Vaqueros is kind of heavily interwoven with ordinary life; it simply cannot be avoided. His work is for the protection of his home and his people, and you are encompassed in that. You know the broad strokes of what has happened, but he rarely tells you of upcoming ops, just in case something happens to your shared home, or to you. "It's not that I'm trying to exclude you, cariño, I'm just trying to be... Prepared. It can keep us both... Safer." Of course he's well aware that by being with him, you can never be truly 'safe', but he tries his best keep you as safe as he is able.

Though his Ops or busts are usually around your home, he doesn't tend to spend much time at home - mainly as a way to keep you safe, and out of the eyes of the cartel. He keeps in contact, though. You have a ham radio he tries to call you on at least once a day whilst he's away, and he sends little notes and letters through a middle man when it's safe enough, but too risky to be heard on the radio. He always assures you that he's safe, uninjured, and always missing home - It's clear that he thinks about you often.

Alejandro enjoys cooking; with you, for you, you name it, he enjoys it. He especially enjoys teaching you his family's recipes for various dishes - Pozole, baked chicken chalupas, sopes - if he gets his way, he will teach you all the recipes he knows. Once you mastered those, perhaps he'll take you to his mother, for the three of you to cook or bake together.

John Price

The majority of the time that you hear about the Task Force is through the grumbling and complaining that John does about the copious amounts of paperwork he has to deal with. He takes care of as much as he can whilst he's on-base, but unfortunately, sometimes he has to bring some on leave with him. A Captain's work is never done, it seems. Whilst away, he keeps in contact mostly through email; he says has plenty of time to, when he's sat his desk and computer for so long. You don't entirely believe him, but you let it slide. It's nice to hear from him whilst he's away, it keeps the worry and the anxiety out of your mind. When he's home, outside of his home office, he rarely talks about his work - unless he's telling you about some close-call (typically with Johnny), that in hindsight is rather funny. Other than that, he likes to keep the conversation of 'What's been going on' solely focused on you, even if you've nothing much to report.

Price is gone... An awful lot. He doesn't get a lot of time home, thanks to his station, but every bit of leave he can get, he makes sure to come home to you. Sometimes his leave is very short, though, so instead of spending the majority of it travelling (which would wear him out far too much), he'll opt for virtual dinner dates instead. He's very understanding of the fact that this situation isn't really ideal for love, or dating. He was aware from the start, and had warned you as such. He often reminds you, late at night, that you don't have to stay with him - you're free to leave and see whomever else you so choose, it could be years until he has the opportunity to retire. You just shake your head at him, and take a moment to reassure him that you're not going anywhere. It's not ideal, no, but you're willing to wait. You know John is the one for you.

John loves a good day out. Down to the beach? He's packing his sunnies. A hike? Wonderful, he's got a new pair of boots he needs to break in. Trip to a museum? Brilliant, what kind? Being able to share time with you, making memories of things big and small, is his ideal day. If he could do it forever, he would in a heartbeat.

Do they ask to see, or does it just happen?

Honestly, I don't think Alejandro would be one to just ask unless you were very close and it was in a flirty way. I feel like he's pretty respectful, and considering that you're choosing to cover your face, he'd see it as a boundary.

What's their initial response?

In a romantic way: He'd probably be able to play it cool -- raise his brows and smile, make some kind of flirtatious comment. "You've been hiding all that under your mask, ojitos?"

In a friendly way: He'd probably smile and nod, then give some kind of compliment. I think he'd be very kind about it.

Do they tell others about it?

No. Not unless you tell others first, and then he'll comment on it. He wouldn't say anything rude either, maybe he'd crack a joke if he figured you wouldn't mind, but other than that, he'd be really laid back about it.

Are you pleased with their reaction?

It'd be hard not to be pleased with his reaction, unless you wanted more from him. But overall, he'd be pretty smooth and give you what you wanted -- even if you were fishing for compliments. This man is a WHOLE 10/10.

Do they ask to see, or does it just happen?

Either. Although I see Soap being a little annoying about it, he'd be likely to make it a whole bit to constantly ask you to take the mask off, in a jokey way. Like if you complained about not being able to see, or if it got dirty on a mission, he'd probably say something cheeky like "It's a good day to take off the mask, (rank/callsign/name)."

If it really annoyed you though, he'd get the hint -- I can't see him pushing-pushing for it unless he had a crush on you and really wanted to know what you looked like.

What's their initial response?

In a romantic way: Would not be able to play it cool. In his head, he's giggling and kicking his feet like a schoolgirl. Realistically, he's trying to be chill, but failing. I mean like grinning from ear-to-ear but turning his head to hide it, making not-so-secretive glances that linger, his posture becoming a little fidgety, in an excited kind of way. The whole shebang.

In a friendly way: A little similar to the previous response. He'd still be really excited and kind of proud that you trusted him enough to show him, but he wouldn't be trying to hide it. He'd probably make jokes, brag a little, something along those lines.

If the two of you have something romantic going on: Only a few people -- like Ghost, maybe Price. Dare I say Laswell. I feel like he'd kind of keep it a secret, because it feels like a special thing. He would only tell people he trusts to not gossip if they noticed him acting differently around you and brought it up -- again, he'd try to play it cool in front of them, but they'd know he's full of shit, lol.

If you're only friends: Yep. It's one of the first things he does after seeing you without your mask for the first time. Dude's all up in Ghost and Gaz's face like "Has (callsign/name) let you see their face? Did you know (callsign/name) has (facial feature)?"

Definitely. You would KNOW he's excited about being able to see your face, so it would be a flattering experience for you. Maybe if his jokes went too far you wouldn't be happy with him, but that probably wouldn't happen; he knows when to stop, and they wouldn't be mean ones either. Overall...he's getting a 10/10 from me.

Since he wears a mask of his own, I think he'd respect that you want the mask on, so I don't think he'd ask. HOWEVER...if the two of you were really close, I can see him proposing the both of you take your face-coverings off at the same time, LOL. Reveal for a reveal, type of deal. (BARS?!)

In a romantic way: Yeaaaaaaaah the dude's got an anxiety disorder, so it's probably gonna be a little awkward (no, I don't think he's gonna cower in fear--but he's def not gonna have the unadulterated swagger of a booktok mafia boss). I picture him going silent for a couple of seconds, trying to figure out what the right thing to say would be, before throwing up a thumbs up and letting out a nervous chuckle, saying some shit like "It's good!" in reference to your face. He'd probably get really shy after that, and not really know what to say--either you'd have to carry the conversation, or he'd start to ramble about nonsense. Might offer to show you his face, as well.

In a friendly way: Pretty similar to the romantic way, although he wouldn't get too shy about it. In fact, he'd probably get kind of excited and offer to take his mask off and show you his face, too. Like a bonding thing...or something?

Do they tell others about it?

No. He knows what it's like to wear a mask and want privacy in some regards, so he wouldn't go around telling people. Maybe he'd gush about it to family, close friends, or to like a pet, LOL ("Ja little birdy, they showed me their face and they have (facial feature!"). But you wouldn't have to worry about it getting spread around -- he knows how to remain professional, and how to respect boundaries.

Romantically: Guys. Guys, hear me out. This is like...a solid 5/10. I'm SO sorry. He gets points because I think it'd be a little cute, but other than that it would be SO awkward. I HAVE to dock points on this one.

Friendly: You know what. 7/10. It'd be a little awkward, sure -- but I think he'd be really nice about it and you'd end up feeling flattered and not regretting your decision to show him. Much better than romantically, where you aren't really sure what he's thinking.

I think he'd probably say "Wow" a couple of times too during your conversation, just littered here and there, going from comments to murmurs. He'd also probably try to throw in a compliment -- it has a 50/50 chance of either landing or bombing completely.

In a friendly way: He'd be a little more chill about it. I don't think he would care too much, it'd be more of like an "Oh, that's what they look like. Cool." kind of response. He'd probably crack a couple of jokes, as well.

Do they tell others about it?

Probably not, unless someone teased him or egged him on in some kind of situation. Like if they were joking about him having no game or something, he might reply like "'I have no game' -- ok bro, have YOU seen (callsign/name)'s face?" which probably wouldn't go over well if you heard about him saying that.

Romantically: I'd say yeah, it would be a decent interaction. Like a 7/10 -- not bad, not spectacular.

Friendly: 3/10. Mega flop of a response. The jokes may redeem it and bring it up to a 5/10, but for the overall disinterest...I give this fictional man a catastrophic 3/10!

If you find out he was telling people: Immediate drop to 0/10. I think that would ruin the perspective of him being genuine, and you wouldn't be able to forget it easily.

The ONLY scenario I see him asking for you to unmask, is if things are getting hot and heavy between the two of you -- maybe you're in close proximity, he's in a more dominant position -- then, possibly, he'd ask. But this would be like...an EXTREME slow-burn kind of thing, he wouldn't just do it out of the blue, or to just anyone.

Guys, I lied. I thought of a second way he might ask -- if you needed medical attention. Like if you got an injury on your face, he'd probably be adamant on you removing the covering so that he could see/help. But other than that, he would NOT ask (teehee).

What's their initial response?

In a romantic way: Maybe he lets out a slight grunt, in an unexpected kind of way -- Like he's surprised and needs to readjust himself. Other than that, he'd probably give you a compliment and that'd be that. If you're super close, he might make a couple of jokes, and it'd go over more smoothly.

In a friendly way: Either no response, or a very generic one. He wouldn't make a big deal out of it, at all -- unless if you're close, he might make a joke. But other than that, he's very chill about it.

Do they tell others about it?

No. Not a single soul. It's not that he isn't happy that he got to see your face, but he just isn't a very vocal guy. He keeps to himself -- and also, I think he would think you'd want it kept private. He wears a mask himself, so he's also understanding that it may be something you want kept secret or low-key. It's not always obvious, but he can be a pretty empathetic guy.

Are you pleased with their reaction?

If he asked and it's close proximity: Hell yeah brother, that's a whole 10/10. I feel like that'd be pretty much a confession from him.

In a romantic, standard way: erm...yeah a 3/10. I'm SO sorry -- you wouldn't really know what he was thinking unless you pried. Overthinking and angst is almost ensured!

In a friendly way: I guess a 5/10? I feel like it would be expected from Ghost to be kinda stoic about it. There wouldn't really be anything to be disappointed about, nor anything to be excited about.

Alejandro Vargas hcs!

• loves himself a sweet treat. Sweet treat every week or Colonel Vargas gets grouchy. His favorite is flan but he also loves a good arroz con leche. Gets his faves from street vendors in Las Almas on his work breaks

• very competitive. He’s often gotta make it a race to get to the point during missions. Is a beast when Vaqueros play soccer together. A bit of a sore loser, but he always buys his team ice cream if they win. He and Rudy sometimes get into it bc Rudy doesn’t take his shit and will challenge the colonel whenever he can

• aches and pains from his military career are starting to bother him and he’s resentful that he can’t just bounce back from physical duress like he did when he was 20. His left shoulder got badly dislocated early on and it pains him during strenuous work. He *will* pretend it doesn’t and that he’s untouchable

• has a mom and two younger brothers in Las Almas whom he keeps protected and sees regularly. His father died when he was a teen. Ale is very attached to his family!

• deeply deeply deeply attached to his unit, they’ve all been through hell together and Ale will genuinely put himself through the grinder to do his utmost to ensure his soldiers come home alive whenever possible

• damn good alcohol tolerance and he is a menace when the Vaqueros go out and drinks start flowing. He teases people he likes when they make faces at his extra extra string tequila. Unfortunately, when he gets tipsy, he seems to think that this is also an excellent maneuver for flirting, if his crush is nearby

• isn’t aware that he comes off as overly pushy sometimes. He’s used to being in authority, so unfortunately sometimes if he’s worried about someone he loves, he’ll unknowingly try to strongarm them into what he thinks is best. Rudy is good at calling him out on this. Valeria would kick his ass if he tried this on her back in the day they worked together (and dated!)

• openly bisexual. Doesn’t give AF.

• very fashionable when out of uniform! He cares about presentation and puts a lot of effort into his looks. Likes wearing bold colors like red and deep blue, shirts that show off his arms and chest

• vain. People told him he was handsome a LOT during his teen years and he internalized that. Has a lot of confidence about himself and his body, as he should! He knows he’s hot

• in his early 20s, however, when he was a reckless and careless young man, his vanity got to his head a little and he genuinely thought that if he wore cologne, he didn’t have to wear deodorant. A few outspoken checks from Valeria and Rudy solved that issue with a quickness!

• made a lot of reckless decisions in his teens and young adulthood. He’s learned from lots of past mistakes, thankfully.

He isn’t entirely over the girl he dated his senior year of high school who dumped him right before he was going to propose to her. The ex-boyfriend he had during training broke his heart when he transferred to Tijuana and got married without any warning. He’d do literally anything for Rudy, including not say anything to preserve their friendship. And yeah, he’s still kinda hung up about Valeria! His exes are important to him and hold a lot of space in his heart.

Ghost: Not much for words (and not the best with them either), but absolutely the first to tell off anyone who tries to say anything negative about you or your body as you go through your transition. He's always touching or rubbing around places that he knows you can have a hatred for to show that he still loves you regardless. Ghost has a good eye for detail as well, so he's always pointing out the changes he sees. Be it facial hair growth or a change in your chest size, he'll mention it when he sees you next.

Soap: Body worship, body worship, body worship! Sweet Johnny boy is very quick to lather your body in kisses from head to toe and give you reasons why he loves every inch of you as you are. His temper can get him in trouble if he ever defends you in conversation, but it's the thought that counts. This lad also loves experimenting with the changes of sensation your body goes through, and will often use this knowledge as a distraction whenever you start to get down on yourself about your body.

König: Big guy is just a bit familiar with body dysphoria, having previously seen his height as more of a liability than an asset. The colonel is very similar to Ghost, lovingly keeping a hand on your hip or waist to show his affection when he has to be big and scary. He'll mark out with you the spots that will change, watching as your chest grows or shrinks and making note of the subtle changes he sees. König will even go as far as to research things like vocal training techniques; he knows how terrifying public speaking can be, and can empathize with wanting to sound the part you were meant to play.

Keegan: Another man who isn't the best with words, but he certainly does try and make an effort for you. Very much a do-er versus a talker, he's sooner to get revenge in subtle ways should anyone speak poorly about you. Later, in private is where he'll be a little more hands on in showing you how to love your body as it is. Keegan is also quick to remind you how the feeling won't last forever and that every day you get closer to achieving the body you want. "Baby steps babe, you'll get there." is something he tells you quite often.

BONUS!

Nikolai: Extremely good with his words! He's always complimenting you, especially on the days you're being particularly hard on yourself. Even when you catch onto that you can't be mad when his response is that he's speaking the truth and how he really feels about you. Also very down to Earth and reminds you to remain patient through the process. "Нет ху́да без добра́," he'll tell you, meaning that every cloud has a silver lining.

Alejandro: As headstrong as he can be, the colonel of the Mexican special forces is very gentle when trying to help you tackle your dysphoria. He's always there to encourage and remind you of just how masculine/feminine you are in his eyes. "Aquel que no espera vencer, ya está vencido," he'll tell you, a way of reminding you of your drive to be who you want to be, both inside and out.

Alejandro leaned up against the doorframe. His arm was above his head, his shirt gone, and a towel draped loosely around his hips. He still had water droplets on him from his shower.

You sat on the bed reading your book when you heard him enter the room. You looked up and frantically searched for your bookmark while trying your best to look as calm as possible. You looked down at the bed, grabbed your bookmark, and placed it in your book. You placed your book on the bedside table and walked over to him. You were smaller than he was and so you looked up at him. He placed a hand on your side and pressed you up against the wall. His head tilted down to look at you as you looked up at him. Your heart hammered in your chest. You were sure he could hear it and you prayed he wouldn't.

He leaned down and his lips met yours. You kissed him back, and reached your hand out, your fingertips ghosting over his abs. He sucked in his stomach. He was ticklish. He broke away from the kiss and grabbed your hand. The sudden movement caused his towel to drop. He was left wearing nothing. Your eyes lowered. He saw every movement. He smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Mi amor."

You looked back up at him, you could feel your cheeks heating up.

"Sorry." You stated quietly.

His hand moved away from your side and gently he placed a hand on your cheek. You leaned into his touch. His other hand let go of your hand and rested by his side.

"Mi amor, do you want to hacer el amor (make love)?"

You looked away, something about him being taller than you, his Spanish accent, the way he spoke, all of it got you going. Your eyes met his.

"Yes, I do."

He gently lifted you off the ground, and your hands grasped his biceps, feeling the muscles harden as he did. You wrapped your arms and legs around him. He walked over to the bed and set you down. You were about to reach when he had already grasped the waistband of your underwear. He slid them off of you and you sat up to remove your shirt. You laid back down as he placed his hand between your legs and slowly began to rub/stroke you. You bit your lip as he continued his movements, going faster with each passing time. How I Think Los Vaqueros (+ Valeria) Characters Might Hug You

(Note: This is just what I (My headcanons) think their hugs might be like, enjoy reading!) (Platonic, romantic)

Alejandro Vargas: 

- Alejandro's hugs are quite warm and ‘homey’, somewhere you manage to feel safe in. 

- His arms would be around your neck, trapping you in his hold with his forearms against the back of your neck, not letting you see out or let anyone see in, a comfortable place for him.

- Alejandro would smile softly as he would watch you during the hug, a rare soft smile as he would press his chin into your shoulder or head, and would rest his eyes for a moment, the Colonel had a lot on his plate but in this moment he would relax. 

- Alejandro's hand would rest against the back of your head after trapping you in his hold. Gently he would massage the back of your head.

- He would also hug you from behind, one of his arms over your shoulder resting above your collarbone, this usually happens when he is focused on something and simply wanting a bit of physical touch. He would play with the collar of your shirt, or a button if there is one as his eyes were focused on anything he was focused on. 

- During the hugs from behind, he would either bury his face into your head or against the back of your shoulder as he wouldn't really.. speak. He would let his actions speak for him. 

- He always has an arm near you, or around you, or even keeping a hand on you at times, he's a lot more physically ‘clingy’, always having a casual hand or arm on you.

- He wouldn't mind you clinging to him during work as long as it isn't on the field, he's confident in himself and wouldn't really give a shit about others watching. 

Rodolfo 'Rudy' Parra:

- He is quite warm as well, he's a silent hugger. Where he would be gentle and quiet. His hand would feel like a gentle hand over you, never too heavy.

- Rudy hugs are softer, not that firm as his arms would be wrapped around your waist, his face tucked into the side of your neck as he would hold you ‘tightly’ but loosely, you would be close but you could easily leave his grasp if you wanted.

- if you are close Rudy would indeed kiss your forehead, his hands on your shoulders as he would lean back to speak to you during hugs before leaning back in.

- During hugs Rudy would hold your hand, either holding your hand behind your back or just gripping your hand during their hugs, squeezing every few seconds.

- Rudy would sway during hugs, having to be gently moving, left.. and right as he would hug you softly, patting the back of your shoulders. 

- Rudy would walk around, his arm around your torso or behind your back as you walk hugging, and talking, he's very attentive to what you say, always listening to every word.

- He's a bit more timid about hugging you with other people around, but he is willing to suck it up if it will make You happy. 

- Rudy would gently pat your shoulders, your back or your head during hugs.

- His hand would grasp your hand, squeezing and rubbing the back of your knuckles.

- He wouldn't mind how you choose to hug him, He would adapt a bit depending on what you want, he would shuffle or be awkward for a moment before relaxing.

Valeria Garza:

- I don't think Valeria would give ‘normal’ hugs, you two would have to be doing something together, like watching a movie or working In the same room.

- While Watching a movie, she would boldly put her arm behind your head, resting it on the back of the couch and pat your head. If you glance at her, she would raise an eyebrow and tilt her head, like silently checking if you are alright.

- Her hand would either be on the back of your head or on the back of your neck, she would squeeze once in a while just to ‘annoy’ you and distract you.

- Her hugs are discret, and no one else would ever see her hug you.

- I don't think Valeria Is a affectionate person, but She will hug you if you are in need of comfort, it would be tight and she would allow you to bury yourself into her arms, but other than that it would have to be casual.

- if you and Valeria aren't close friends? You're not getting shit (sorry) but I don't believe she wouldn't offer any type of praise or affection, no hugs.

- if you are close? she would ‘allow’ it, let you cling to her if no one else is watching, even if she's working as long as you are not intruding on her work.

- If people are around? She wouldn't allow you to be near her, she would order you around like she would anyone else, a tad bit nicer but no one would be able to notice. She doesn't wish for anyone to know, so no one would ever dare hurt you due to their problems with her.- I do believe she would hold the back of your head or neck during hugs or sitting near each other, she likes being in power, no matter your relationship (platonic, romantic), she would feel assured with her hand placed there, as you trusted her, and it made her feel a bit smug.
