#Alder Uriborle

Alder Uriborle. Not the best boi. He’s the one who essentially disgraced the Uriborle name as their family was quite honored by most residents of the Rak'our region. In fact, for a while Alder was worshipped as a god for a while, alongside his wyvern. Mortals in other regions didn’t believe the gods were among them at the time, so Alder was believed to just be an arrogant weirdo posing as a god.

He held the title of God of the Mountains and controlled the weather there, namely the thunder. Because of Alder and his nameless dragon, the Rak'our region became most popular for their almost never ending thunderstorms.

His death was appreciated after a while. He was known for hunting down others, almost for no reason. But of course he wouldn’t say why.

Fun fact. Aeregele and Dioptase are very wary around Platinum because of Alder. This is because Alder had hunted down Aeregele’s daughter, Karmen, and nearly killed her. Thankfully Dioptase had gotten to her in time and take her to her father before it was too late. This is when Alder and his dragon were eliminated by Aeregele.

Ah more Vendryk! He’s such a pretty. I’m loving him more and more the more I draw him.

I don’t have much on him that won’t spoil anything, but I do know I can say that he has a weird fascination for Aeregele. He’s one of those characters that you don’t know where they live, but you do find them randomly for no reason. Vendryk isn’t that much different, it’s just good to keep in mind that he’s essentially everywhere but you’ll have a better time spotting him if you’re near Aeregele at any point. Ya just gotta look hard enough.

Anyway. I think I’m gonna draw another character I haven’t introduced yet. I’m not sure who though… I might do Cinder (another one of Crimson’s daughters) or a relative of Faylyee…

OH! Or maybe Platinum’s grandfather, Alder. The asshole who made the Uriborle name infamous. Ya… I might draw him first XD

((this’ll be fun. And I figured you’d pick one from each section, I was just waiting to see which ones. I hope these help see Platinum for who he is even more, or maybe even set up new questions ;3))

2-  What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness?

Platinum isn’t insecure about much, at least before his coma. Now it’s just how he looks to others, whether it’d be his appearance or personality. 

6- Do they have any hobbies that their lover finds unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying?

I’m sure Selenite doesn’t mind anything that Platinum does, in fact I don’t think Platinum does anything weird. Except… polish his horns.

15-  Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

One person I can think of at the top of my head is Crimson Fallan, probably the first known Fallan but isn’t exactly the first in the family tree (he’s just the most well-known).

Platinum holds an odd fear of Crimson, he isn’t exactly sure why, especially since Platinum has a higher rank than Crimson. Whenever he hear Crimson’s name or is even in his presence, part of him wants to cower under Crimson with his tail between his legs. But he isn’t the only one who is afraid of Crimson.

17- Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

He definitely has dreams of marrying, and after meeting and being with Selenite he’s pretty sure his dream would come true at some point. We’d just have to figure out when ;3

24- In their own words, how would your character describe what their lover is like?

Platinum has seemed to have fallen in some kind of blind love, but at least it hasn’t turned negative on him, even if Selenite is the only person Platinum has felt some sort of physical attraction towards.

He describes Selenite, though maybe a little vaguely, as soft and pure; a child who shouldn’t have been subjected in the harsh world that he was and because he was he is now a small wounded bird that needs healing. But in short, Platinum is just that and Selenite would be the one to heal him instead. Selenite is much stronger than he lets on and when Platinum sees it he admires him even more than before.

29-What is one of the most courageous things your character has ever done for a loved one?

I mean…. Platinum has done what he could to keep Selenite and his sister, Ravvan, safe. Even if it was nearly killing himself….

He’d do just about anything for his family.

33- If your character wanted to be alone, where would they go? ( @jemthebookworm lmao i was just answering this one as you sent me the ask, so I hope this works :3)

Platinum has had some off days and whenever that happens, he usually tries to sleep it off in his bed or even try and cuddle with Selenite.

39- When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?

Some assumptions of his personality usually include him being hard-headed and actually evil just by looking at him as he tends to have a straight face all the time, especially in public, since he doesn’t like showing off his emotions to others. He’s just a stone-cold statue, a monster without a heart or soul.

I mean its not correct or incorrect. Before the war, Platinum was known in the Uriborle family to be very stone-cold and harsh towards people, especially towards his fellow gods. It was how he was born to do. Being born at such a high rank set him to high expectations at an early part of his life, earlier than most, so he grew up with little empathy. 

he would make for a great leader, but letting his emotions go seems to be very rough on him but very calming when it happens. 

41- Does your character’s family affect your character in any way?

Platinum doesn’t have a lot of live blood relatives, in fact Ravvan is his only blood relative left alive. Because of this he strives to protect her with his life.

The Uriborle’s name though had been tainted by his grandfather, Alder Uriborle. Alder was a harsh ruler of the Uriborle and Rak’our regions and was known for pure destruction, along with his nameless wyvern. Because of Alder, Platinum (even if he doesn’t realize) works himself to death to heal the wound that his grandfather tore open.

46- What is some random affectionate thing that your character always does to their lover?

Platinum seems to enjoy combing his fingers through Selenite’s hair or at least hold him in an embrace since he’s a very physical person.
