This wasn’t the ordinary way on how he got his jobs, or even contact with any of his other clients. Already it was starting to shape up to be something that could really come with a big reward at the end of it, though knowing his luck, it’d probably go down the drain about as fast as the coffee Blabber would try to make for him. Yet knowing that, it was probably best not to goof off as much on this gig as he could. Had to live up to the reputation but not the blunders and accidents that came with it. Most of those came from Blab but he decided to take some responsibility for some of them.

Of course he would’ve gotten some news to go meet with his client in some park after night had fallen. Not like anyone could do the usual calling first for an appointment in his office, or just stepping in since his schedule wasn’t very filled up. Heck, even sending a call through one of his acquaintances would have worked, but it was always dealing with people in darkened parks. Most of the time that was when it was ripe to kick the bucket, but maybe classics never withered away. The private eye’s pupils shifted from one direction to another, trying to get a good feel of what his surroundings held as he was lucky there wasn’t any fog tonight. Not if there was a landmark in the park for him to meet with his client, he’d be happy but in the meantime, he’ll stay under one of the park lights.
