I don’t think An gets enough credit for being like… such a casually nice & kind person without even trying. To the point where even I can tell and I’m not a VBS fan (behind on stories) bc it just bleeds through in every interaction she has with other characters. Like it’s never her being Absurdly Over The Top Kind she just. Treats everyone equally. Friendly with everyone. Thinking abt her being the first one @ school to attempt to befriend Mizuki and treat them like a person. - He stopped kissing Mizuki's cheek for a while during middle school bc Mizuki was already bullied too much without others thinking they were gay and Mizuki started rejecting the kisses. Recently with a bigger courage it was Mizuki who started it again, having to pull Rui down to kiss his cheek and Rui just smiled so hard before kissing her cheek back.

- Tsukasa gets pouty whenever he kisses Saki's cheek (who also has that habit) bc Rui stopped giving him the cheek ones and he wants them back thank you (no he cant communicate that. Its Tsukasa duh)

- Akito takes a bit to realize whats going on is just totally platonic (it took him seeing that Rui does it with everyone, but he never said it out loud so Rui never stopped it to him) but once he does he starts treating it like a competition "Ill get him more than he gets me". Rui is somehow 100% aware that Akito treats it like that and always one ups Akito.
