I wasn’t there to help them... I had forsaken my duties out of fear, and now I see the truth of what has happened.

Tian Monastery was a place special to Allan. It was where he first picked up a daibo and where he learned how to use his body as both a weapon and a temple. Fel Spreaders had attempted to scorch the earth with fel corruption, imps and fel lords ran amok, and foul energies tainted all sustenance. Thankfully, the Legion had been thwarted with concentrated efforts, but not without paying the price in blood, sweat, and tears.

His beloved Monastery had not been spared the Legion’s wrath, much like the Peak of Serenity where Grand Master Hight was killed. The monastic order had not scattered to the four winds, however. Despite this, they were now the Order of the Broken Temple, rebuilding themselves anew.

Allan stood on one of the bridges at the Temple of Five Dawns overlooking the Wandering Isle. In the distance, he watched a dainty blonde sin’dorei beating the shit out of a trainer-- He pitied the fool who was deceived into thinking someone of her stature was anything but a fierce fighter. Had his mind not been so busy, he would’ve gone down there to refresh his combat skills. After all, before he was a devout follower of Chi-Ji, the Red Crane, he learned to pack a punch with the ways of Xuen, the White Tiger.

To his left, he noticed another sin’dorei with golden hair beads in his hair deep in meditation. His eyes were closed, and he was completely still, as though his mind was in another plane of existence. He wondered what marvels the man had seen, and what hardships he’d faced in order to be there today.

“Your training is not yet done, Allan McGowan.”

The voice was familiar, but when he looked to the source, there was no one there.

To his right, he noticed a cluster of pandaren training in unison, like a practiced dance. He felt the blessings of the August Celestials all around.Although the monks had been shaken to their very core, their spirits were not broken, and their resolve was only strengthened. The Legion would not be victorious.

I belong here. I might be an anomaly, but so is everyone here in some way. I wasn’t there to help them before, but I am now, and I won’t stop until the Legion is defeated. They won’t take our home, and I won’t be abandoning them again. When this is all over, I will find the Lorewalkers once more.

With that, he picked up his daibo and headed towards the courtyard. He had a portal to take and a demon hunter to find.

Wrap Up: No Time

In the closing hours of Dawnwatch’s rousing success the final loose ends of the Legion plot comes into view. Da’na’shan, the eredar haruspex, offers little at first in the efforts of Sunsheer and Pratchett, leading the two to find a proper prison to hold the Legion commander.

A proper prison surrounded by Illidari all-too-happy to interrogate.

By morning they have their answers. The vague concept of elemental energies and temporal powers aligning was more than correct; it could have even been possible by all accounts. Taking raw, empowered elements from various points in time aligned to their natural resonance (timeless fire, drastically-changed water) combined with key moments of the Burning Legion reaching into Azeroth (earth from the Well of Eternity during the War of the Ancients, air from the very top of the canopy of the World Tree, Nordrassil during the conclusion of the Third War) and combining them with aspects of Azeroth’s parallel-connected dimensions (living essence from the Emerald Dream, essence of undeath from the Shadowlands, mana from the Twisting Nether), could very well have caused the artificial timeways generated by the Kiel-Succor to have become permanent and expansive. A single Burning Legion is infinite; multiplying the Burning Legion any number of times could lead to their immediate victory.

The Illidari consider it to be an insane plan, destine to fail because of temporal mechanics and general chrono-problems. But the risk was too great.

If only people had listened the first time.

The information, corroborated by the supporting cast of Timewalkers, Kirin Tor, Call of Azeroth, Illidari, and various other groups helps to solidify a very important observation from all of the above; Hamathiel Sunsheer was right. By chance or by decision he was the first person to identify the problem and address it. By all counts, he is the reason this scheme didn’t come to fruition.

It’s leverage for the future, in assets and credibility.

The combat itself might not have been constant, honorable, or even remotely fair at times; but the willingness to engage in it is enough. Though he may not have landed the killing blow, Akitear Blackvale is at least recognized by his peers among the Order of the Broken Temple. Avenging the deaths of so many by helping to defeat Tei’shan Reh'zah, it affords the grumpy monk a modicum of respect. And potentially access to greater teachings on chi and its application, if he can sit still long enough. Maybe even a sip of Stormbrew...

With no real desire for fame, fortune, or glory through the entire mess, there isn’t much for Syllandra Emberdawn to get out of the entire experience; except for the experience itself. Alchemic resources in the form of the raw elements gathered by the Da’na’shan. Exposure to further forms of alchemical and magical transmution from Tei’shan’s encounters (transmute pants to meat!). And a glimpse at what might have been thought possible only under the guidance of Elune.

Despite taking a beating every step of the way, there is even less to come back with for the wayward young human. Spending resources with the draenei, the Call of Azeroth, and his few friends among the kaldorei, Willaude Pratchett comes out the entire experience none-the-better. Having lost his magic at the outset of the time-hopping mess, Will is left to brood over the appearance of Argus in the skies of Azeroth seemingly just as he loses the one weapon he had in his fight against the Legion. After years of preparing, everyone else is ready while he struggles to even keep up with his friends; much less Dawnwatch.

What’s your OTP for your Muse?:

I can only answer this one with assurance for my muse, Gaia Heartstrike with Damian Jharol. It’s been really difficult for me to pair characters, and that’s primarily because I don’t push people into it. The chemistry between characters is something I like to build on - and I sometimes need to feel a level of comfort with the story and OOC’ly before I can advance my muses in their relationships with people. Gaia has been with Damian about three years, and I have actively roleplayed with Damian since Draenor. And we only just got them engaged a little bit ago, so to me that’s a huge milestone. 

Plus I had all my issues with Kelz’thalas. Where I jumped into a relationship and got screwed over OOC’ly. But hey, that’s competition I guess. XD

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?:

I’m happy to share that I have characters shipped, but I’m not going to start posting smut all over my tumblrs. There are some risque things I will post, but it’s for a particular starter or maybe a scene that took place. Other than that, I get a little worried if I reblog -only- my ship. People tend to get biased and assume that’s all your character becomes. For me that’s not the case. I’m always looking for adventure and for shit to fuck up. So COME AT ME BROS!

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?:

Uh. I don’t normally ask people their ages. But I can tell when they’re immature for the content or are not interested. Fortunately for me I don’t have to worry too much about this. But I’m more uncomfortable when people pretend to be a gender they’re not – and don’t tell you. THAT’S WEIRD.

Are you selective when shipping?:

Fuck yes I am. I roleplay dragons. And I first have to convince people they are dragons. Shipping them comes when I feel comfortable with that. There are folks that are so quick to shoot down dragon roleplayers as it is. And I don’t want to be referred to as. Slutygosa. XD I’ve contributed a lot of work to making them the way they are - so I hope the rp I get with people will be something that complements that dedication. 

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?:

*Slowly removes left sock* OKAY ITS NSFW. Just fucking kidding. Uh… for me NSFW is when you start exposing your genitalia for someone to see. Like there’s no clothes covering it. >_> I mean, that seems fair? And maybe kissing. Kissing is a sign of let’s get it on BABE. @the-inept-mistweaver FOR YOU AKI

Who are other Muses you ship your Muse with?:

Uh… well. I don’t really promote ships. I just sort of jokingly say - “Oh I could see those doing that together.” Or … “Oh I wonder what it would be like if this had happened!” But after being disappointed in previous RP scenes, I’ve quit doing that. It gets my hopes up. 

Does one have to ask to ship with you?:

I mean… it would be nice if they did. But sometimes you just agree IC’ly, and happy day. Done. No real need to ask me then. :D But if my character says no >.> well rip. 

How often do you like to ship?:

I posted this gif because I can’t think of anything else to say for this shipping hoo-hah. Just when it’s natural. 

Are you multiship?:

…. Wut? I mean, Kelzygosa isn’t established in a ship currently. There is definitely interest from Saerin – @shadowtoarcane - and there could be more, but just depends on the story.

THE TITANIC- Er… well.  >.> I always get a kick out of Hamathiel Sunsheer and Akitear Blackvale. ( @hamathiel-sunsheer @the-inept-mistweaver ) Just cause they’re grumpy man elves. But fandom - I wanna see @puppet-master-jihye with @laerethbloodhawk / @ma-at-thought.

Paperwork had started to pile up in the little alcove they claimed was his office. The extended halls of the Kirin Tor could hold an almost infinite amount of supplies, books, research materials, and reagents.

Sun forbid they give us enough space to stretch our feet.

It was an ungrateful thought, considering all the work the Kirin Tor had done for Azeroth and specifically, his people. There were rough parts, but for the most part he couldn’t complain.

Especially while they stay out of my day-to-day. Now where did I...

Aeth’alis Bloodwake. Kirin Tor researcher. Magus of the Sin’dorei. Blood Mage. Adventurer. Light-fearing man.

In the last year Aeth’alis had taken on a much different role than he was used to; a hands-off approach to the threats across Azeroth. It was simple math; he could expend his energies alone or in a small group and get a fraction of the work done, or he could put together the pieces to a bigger picture and enact change across the world. Real change. Actual progress.

His alliance with Hamathiel Sunsheer had been part of this, among other people. He wasn’t acting as an on-again off-again patron of just the Dawnwatch, but they were possibly the most lethal and surgical group he had access to. Entrusting Sunsheer with the ley-line survey equipment had been a risk which paid off many times over now. The nudges and suggestions here and there in the Kirin Tor were starting to change the shape of opinions about the sin’dorei. Shell-partnerships across Azeroth were collecting more and more adventurers, be they Horde or Alliance or other factions across the globe, under a unified banner.

But the news coming in from the Kirin Tor about Sunsheer and his Dawnwatch was striking.

Blood Elven group disarms Legion temporal plot.

Joint Sin’dorei-Kirin Tor-Alliance effort leads to destruction of Legion ship, commander.

Timewalker representative claims eredar commander assassinated with single shot while attempting to hijack timeway-bound Well of Eternity.

It was making them look good. Damn good. And among the rank-and-file adventurers interested in the gossip columns it was rallying more and more action against the Legion. The last one had to be bravado on someones part, but Aeth’alis wouldn’t dispute it publicly. It had the definite bent of some distinctly yellow journalism he read while still above Crystalsong Forest.

Regardless of where it all was coming from, he responded. A quickly-drafted letter to Sunsheer congratulating him on his efforts, with a request to meet. A strongly-worded letter to the Kirin Tor as a reminder of the invaluable aid the sin’dorei had once again offered in saving Azeroth as a whole. Congratulations to a number of the groups involved on the outskirts of the affair, with a specific letter to Sunsheer’s pet human on the matter of his creative storytelling of the scenario. A brisk communique to the local Bronze Dragonflight representative.

It went on and on.

100 Days of Development: Day 1

Where Hamathiel believed the idea to be stupid, Aki thought it to be brilliant.

Verbal communication had always been something Aki struggled with. Even when growing up he had never been good at conveying his feelings or explaining the thoughts going through his head. Over two centuries later and he still couldn’t find the means to grasp such a simple concept.

When it came to writing down his thoughts and actually having the chance to organize them without being under the pressure of being on the spot? This was something he could manage, and if Hamathiel was willing to partake in it? It could be fun.

Those were his thoughts when he arose from the mound of furs later that morning only to find the neatly folded note awaiting his inspection. While Hamathiel hadn’t been entirely wrong by what he said given what the day brought with it, that wasn’t to say was completely against talking or interacting with him.

Retrieving one of his journals and the enchanted quill he had been neglecting from wooden case he received as a gift for Winter Veil, Aki began inking the pages of parchment with practiced and fluid strokes.

Hamathiel,

Before anything I will tell you as I always do: you do not need to apologize or ask for my forgiveness for something as trivial as striking up a conversation or for leaving a note. Whatever happened to not assuming what other may be thinking?

You worry too much.

Either way I must say I am pleasantly surprised to find you are the one out of the two of us broaching an idea like this in the first place, but all the same I am looking forward to taking part in it if this is to be added to our daily lives. Leaving small notes to voice the things we are unable to. I think it is a brilliant idea, humorous exercise or not. I think it is

Seeing as how I believe it is safe to say you have thought ahead as you tend to, you likely have some idea of the questions and the order in which you wish to reveal these parts of yourself. If that is the case then I will abide by your rules and whatever you have in mind and will answer the same questions in return to the best of my ability. 

One hundred days, though? That is a lot of questions to see to. Do you believe we will be able to do it?

To answer the first question though,“What is your full name?”

It is not as bad as saying it out loud, but my full name is Akitear Blackvale.

As you said, a number of these things you have lined up you may also already know, but where would the fun be if they were skipped? I have never had a different name and actually have never considered changing it for as must as I dislike it. That being said, I used to go by the alias ‘Clown’. I am certain you are able to guess as to why that was. If not, remind me later.

I also recall my mother once saying I had another name in the middle of the others. What it was though I am unsure. I have not been able to remember what it was for a long while now. I am sure there is a document around somewhere that possesses it.

I suppose that is all for now?

Taking a few moments to look over the note all that remained left to do was get it over to Shal’Aran, and what better way to get it there then to deliver it via teroclaw? Hoepfully Hamathiel wouldn’t mind Jin’tril dropping in on him unexpectedly.
