since i am going to spend the next 2ish years manifesting these: if you could write a changerion 30th anniversary or a kabuto 20th anniversary, what would the plots be? (or would you combine them?)

Kabuto 20th: I feel like there's a pretty straightforward plotline to go with for this one, especially if it's possible to get back most of the actors--I know there have been stupid agency-caused issues with Mizushima returning, but I can dream. Anyway, Hiyori is now a successful restaurateur and children's book author, Juka is happily at work on a PhD in entomology, Tendou's doing his thing as usual and cooking ever more elaborate recipes, and Kagami's running a detective agency, when they start spotting people that they know should be dead (Tsurugi, Kageyama, etc). Cue the return of their Zecters as they ready themselves to fend off another Worm invasion, which turns out to actually be a wave of alien tourists looking forward to visiting Earth and seeing all its weirdness. Tendou cooks for them.

Changerion 30th: We open. It is 1998. It has been 1998 for 30 years now. Everyone has aged, but it is still 1998. Akira and Hayami, now happily gay married and bickering nonstop, realize that time isn't passing and set off with Kuroiwa--who has just been resurrected for the fifteenth time since the end of the show--to kick Inoue Toshiki's ass, having determined that he's the architect of all their misfortunes. Inoue Toshiki is played by Wakamatsu Toshihide. Murakami Kohei appears as himself, working as Inoue's live-in bodyguard. Handa Kento has a bit part as the guy who does Hayami's dry-cleaning and who might be dating Murakami. There are at least three on-screen M/M kisses, one with tongue. The day is eventually saved by a sentai of lesbian technicians who arrive, disassemble the set, and tell the cast that the movie's been cancelled and they should all go home.

Love All Play, il primo trailer della serie ci porta sul campo da badminton

L’anime sportivo tratto dai romanzi di Asami Koseki debutterà in Giappone il 2 aprile.

A poco meno di un mese dal debutto, ecco arrivare il primo trailer esteso di “Love All Play”, che finalmente ci dà un assaggio della serie animata tratta dai romanzi sul badminton giovanile di Asami Koseki.

L’anime dal profilo scolastico-sportivo, andrà in onda sulle tv giapponesi a partire da 2 aprile.

L’adattamento è prodotto dallo studio NIPPON ANIMATION (Let’s Make a Mug Too), in collaborazione con OLM (Mix, Major 2nd), e alla regia troviamo Hiroshi Takeuchi (Blade & Soul).

Della sceneggiatura si occupa Tomoko Konparu (Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi, Nana), con l’assistenza di Miharu Hirami (Handa-kun), Shingo Irie (Hinomaru Sumo) e Michiko Yokote (Tsurune). 

Il design dei personaggi, invece, è curato da Riko Kaneda e le musiche sono composte da Yuki Hayashi (Backflip!!, Haikyu!! L’asso del volley).

Alle medie, Ryo Mizushima si è unito alla squadra di badminton della sua scuola pieno di motivazione e speranze, ma senza un allenatore adeguato, è riuscito a combinare molto poco. Contando prettamente sulla propria prestanza fisica, però, alla fine riesce a raggiungere il torneo prefettizio, attirando l’attenzione del leggendario allenatore Ebihara, che lo invita ad iscriversi alla prestigiosa scuola superiore Yokohama-Minato. All’inizio Ryo è titubante, ma spronato dalla sorella maggiore Rika, decide di seguire il consiglio di Ebihara. Finalmente sotto la guida di un allenatore esperto e circondato da compagni di squadra di talento, ora Ryo riesce a dare il meglio di sé, mettendocela tutta per diventare un grande atleta e accompagnare il team al prossimo torneo interscolastico.

Il primo romanzo è stato pubblicato in Giappone nel maggio del 2011, al quale sono poi seguiti altri tre volumi, l’ultimo dei quali è uscito nel marzo del 2014. 

Dallo scorso 25 agosto, l’opera ha iniziato ad essere venduta in una nuova edizione rinnovata. In arrivo anche un’adattamento manga, curato da Dam Miyata.

Hunters & More Join the Cast of The Vampire dies in no time. TV Anime

  Two courageous vampire hunters and an adorable mascot character have been announced for The Vampire dies in no time. (known in Japan as Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu), an upcoming TV anime based on the supernatural comedy manga by Itaru Bonnoki about a modern day vampire who falls in with a vampire hunter after the latter destroys the former's ancestral home.

  The new characters include (pictured above, from left to right):

  Mutsumi Tamura as John, an armadillo and Dralc's familiar.

Natsumi Hioka as Hinaichi, a deputy captain in the Vampire Countermeasures Division.

And Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tou Handa, a half-human / half-vampire member of the Vampire Countermeasures Division.

  Serialized in Akira Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion manga magazine, The Vampire dies in no time. tells the story of Ronaldo, a vampire hunter, and Dralc, an immortal vampire who is nevertheless pretty wimpy and always being reduced to a pile of ash. Ronaldo and Dralc end up living together when - after a misunderstanding involving some missing children - Ronaldo destroys Dralc's ancestral home, and soon the vampire and the vampire hunter form a team to investigate supernatural disturbances.

    The Vampire dies in no time. TV anime is directed by Hiroshi Kōjina and features animation production by MADHOUSE. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in October of 2021.
