alright here we go...
I've brought together the basic outline of my idea... and since I said I share it here I am!
I really hope you like it and it is something interesting for you! I had a lot of fun fleshing out these ideas so it's alright.
~-~-~-~-~
Like it is established in your thoughts Warden Ingo is like an empty husk of who he used to be, torn away from his old life, his memories and from Emmet. I've added to this idea that there is a link between certain humans and Reshiram + Zekrom at all times. Aside the fact these humans have a high tendency of leaning into truth/ideals there isn't much else but it gives the dragons some kind of balance and ties to the people of Unova. Kyurem being "just" the husk has no such tie to the people, though it longs for one.
Ingos ties to Zekrom has been severed when he arrived in Hisui and as there already is a human tie in this time on top of being a shadow of his former self it has become a once in a lifetime moment for Kyurem to have a human tie as well.
Kyurem feels Ingo's presence all the way in Hisui and eventually seizes the opportunity to form a human tie with him. But things go horribly wrong and Ingo ends up being in a half frozen state. Never feeling truly warm; the few things his heart remembers from his old life keeping his core just warm enough.
With ice leaking out of him and an incident where he almost hurts (or does hurt) someone(not sure who), he steps down as a Warden and Instructor at the Dojo and decides to hide in one of the many ice caves in the Icelands, so he can no longer be a danger to the people. After all safety of others comes first, no matter what.
Enter Akari who just refuses to leave Ingo to his own misery and is determined to help him out of this no matter how. And no matter what it takes.
(I've also thought of the idea that since Ingo's tie with Zekrom has been severed it affects present Unova as well. With Zekrom being restless + causing random thunderstorms all over Unova. I can see N seeking out the Pokemon trying to find out what's wrong. Not sure though how much Emmet will be involved, I can see him being affected by the severed tie as well as Reshiram, not sure how at this moment though... Especially since Emmet isn't even aware of his tie... just that something is horribly wrong beside that Ingo is missing.)
~-~-~-~-~
and there you have it.
Its really just a rough outline, I think it will get better over time and sound less "rough"...
also excuse any mistakes. There are times I feel the face english isn't my native tongue come through and this might be one...
Hope you like it! Take all the time you need to reply! I am a bit nervous but I'm sure I'll be fine!
In regards to this post
OHHHH OH THIS IS SO COOL I LOVE THIS CONCEPT!! Kyurem wanting a connection with someone but it can’t in its empty state, augh… ;n;
MAN. I could certainly see how this tie would be severed especially if Ingo was placed into a different timeline when this happened (a timeline where he already exists and is fine in the present/hasn’t been sent back yet?). Putting something into a timeline separate from the Zekrom he’s connecting to, and into a timeline where a “him” already exists and is connected to that timeline’s zekrom would leave him without a connection at all. (WHEW THATS CONFUSING but I see your vision and ITS VERY VERY GOOD)
Especially if Ingo doesn’t know exactly what’s going on with this persistent cold and this feeling of connection, I could see why he’d want to separate himself from a situation. Even if it wasn’t a terribly bad incident, don’t give things a chance to do something worse, especially if you don’t understand what you’re dealing with.
I AM GLAD TO HEAR AT LEAST AKARI IS THERE TO HELP WHEN HE TRIES TO WITHDRAW. They will figure out what’s going on together!!!
I love the thought of Zekrom becoming restless. A tie was severed!! I doubt either of them have ever dealt with a situation like that and even know what a severed tie feels like. And the thought of N trying to figure things out and talk to the dragons as well… SO GOOD.
WHAT A GOOD OUTLINE, FRIEND!! I’m so glad you shared it, I enjoy this concept a lot and would love to hear additions you make to it as time goes on!! Thank you for sharing!!
#wayward’s asks#he’s cold all the time :(#I’ll put him in front of a fireplace and put 10 blankets on him and give him a sweater and a hat and-#just keep him warm!!!!#don’t worry about your English too#like always it always seems perfect to me!!#I know you said you’re nervous but I hope you can understand how much I appreciate you sharing it and how much I enjoy this concept!!!!#Kyurem representation!!!!#VERY COOL STUFF THANK YOU!!

Down by the river - Volo x F!Reader (Smut)
not a request, just horny for volo i guess lol - 2.1k words, not proofread
features: volo being delusional, female/afab reader, reader is from the present (NOT AKARI), voyeurism, volo being a bit of a pervert, oral (f! receiving), vaginal fingering, unprotected sex, mention of breeding but it doesn't actually occur, friends to friends with benefits, fucking in a tent
He finds you down by the river.
Drenched, uniform clinging to your skin, hair heavy and dripping, a still-smoking pokeball in your hand – no doubt the cause of your misfortune.
You’re happy to see him despite your state, you always are, you greet him with a big smile. He’s happy to see you too.
He invites you back to his camp, offers you dry clothes and shelter. And you happily accept, after all your nearest basecamp is much too far, especially with the already setting sun.
Upon arriving to his tent, he lights an oil lamp and ushers you inside. How cold you must be, how uncomfortable. You were shivering the whole way to his tent; you need to get out of those clothes.
As you undress, he uses twine to fashion a clothesline between two nearby trees, and has his Arcanine start a hearty fire. A pile of wet clothes begins to grow outside the tent, he goes to collect them right as you drop what appears to be your last item on top.
He pauses. That must be your undergarments.
Cloying heat pools in his groin, his cheeks flushing in soft pink heat, as he stares down at them. He’d heard you’d spent whatever you could spare on getting ‘modern’ garments tailored, is this one of them? They’re nothing like what he’s seen, they’re lacy, black, and revealing, juxtaposed by little pink bow.
Wait a second. Does this mean?
You're sitting naked in his tent right now.
His cock stirs in his trousers, pitching a tent. What a vision you must be, skin all wet and shiny, what a goddess.
All that separates you is that heavy canvas, he wants to tear that flap open, he wants to look, wants to know if you fit the image he has of you.
Even in loose fabric, his cock feels caged, aching to be let out and tended to. Would you be long? Would he have enough time to pleasure himself without you knowing? Would you notice if your undergarments went missing for a while?
Ugh, the fire in his loins is causing him to sweat much more than the fire beside him. He feels so unbelievably hot, so unbelievably aroused, He has to do something – anything to quell this, quench this.
He holds his breath and pulls back the tent-flap and peeks inside. There you are, kneeling on his bedroll, completely bare and utterly gorgeous. The oil lamp’s flames kiss your curves, your nipples already pert from the cold. Your knees are parted in such a way he can see your beautiful cunt. He licks his lips.
You are every inch the vision he expected you to be.
He drinks you in, like a man parched, eyes unsure where to rest as each part of you sparks his fancy. He reaches downward, ready to enjoy this glimpse of you for as long as he can.
Then your eyes meet.
You’ve caught him, almost red-handed, a moment later and his hand would have been down his trousers.
You stare at each other in stunned silence for what seems like an age. His brain is scrambling for some kind of semi-reasonable, believable excuse for his unquestionably inappropriate behaviour. Usually, he’s so good at worming his way out of these situations, but he’s never been caught out in such a comprising way.
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours," you eventually coo, at first he thinks you might be joking, but your sultry, expectant gaze and refusal to cover yourself beg to differ.
Of course you want to see him naked, you've been eyeing him up since the moment you met. Relief washes over him – he hesitates to think of how things could have gone had you not been so agreeable.
He joins you in his tent, and like you have already done, starts to disrobe. He watches in glee as you lean in and admire the pale, lean muscles of his arms and chest.
Your gaze then fixates on the bulge in his trousers, it only serves to make it twitch. "May I?" you ask, reaching for the drawstring. He nods, and your fingers come to untie the knot. The fabric loosens around his waist, enough so that you can free his cock from its prison.
Your eyes light up at the reveal, in satisfaction and lust, and even a little fear. He likes that.
He leans in to kiss you then, capturing your soft lips in a passionate kiss. He’s dreamed of doing this since… since the moment he first laid eyes on your beautiful lips.
A part of him wishes your first kiss occurred under more romantic circumstances, another more pressing part relishes in the chance to have all of you at once.
He cups your warm cheeks, and presses his mouth harder against yours. In turn, your fingers tug at his bun, and pull it undone, it cascades down his back. You tear away from him for a moment.
“I always wondered what you looked like with your hair down,” you mention, running your fingers through a lock of his hair, “You’re so beautiful.”
He smiles shyly. He knows that to be true already, but to hear you say it, makes his heart flutter.
As a reward, he kisses you again, with more passionate this time. He finally lets himself touch you… finally skim his fingers along your hips. Your soft flesh is cold, still a little damp. No matter, he’ll have you plenty warm soon.
He guides you to lay down on his bedroll, and takes his place on top of you, pushing some of his hair away to avoid tickling your sweet face.
He kisses your neck, you mewl so sweetly in response. He’d love to bite you there, leave his mark on you… but not now. His lips move down to your breasts, he pecks and nips at them, so soft and warm, he can hear your heart pound under them.
He reaches your stomach, leaving a trail of kisses in his wake. You’re soft here too – he can’t get over how utterly divine your body is.
Down again he goes, using his hands, he keeps your thighs apart. Your cunt, rosy and glistening, stares back at him, he licks his lips again.
At the realisation of what he’s about to do, you practically squeal in delight. He chuckles at your excitement, emboldened by it.
He kisses your clit first, already swollen by anticipation, and moves down to lap at your folds. Admittedly, he’s not quite sure what to do, what is best to make you come – not that he isn’t willing to try. He listens to your sounds, pays attention to the movement of your hips and thighs, gauging what you like best.
“There! There!” you cry as his lips latch onto your clit, you grab a fistful of his hair to keep him there. He slips a finger inside effortlessly, you are just so wet. His cock twitches at the thought of being inside you. He curls his finger upward, and your hips buck into his face.
He’s struck gold – he sucks on your clit as he continues to curl his finger over and over again, coaxing an orgasm out of you. Your thighs squeeze his face, fingers tugging on his hair as you cry to the moon and let the pleasure wash over you.
He lets go of your clit, and removes his finger, choosing instead to lap at your folds again, catching your sweetness on his tongue. When your shuddering ceases – when the tugging on his hair turns to languid stroking, he stops, and sits up. You gaze at him with appreciative, but still wanting eyes.
“Are we going to fuck or what?” you ask bluntly, and he has to stop himself laughing from the shock. You can be so vulgar.
To punish you for speaking to him like that, he grabs your thighs and pulls you towards him roughly. You yelp in surprise, and he wastes no time in positioning himself to enter you.
It’s funny, this morning, this afternoon, even the moment he found you down by the river, he would have never thought you two would end up in bed so soon. He had planned months of courting, even willing to wait until he had married you to lay with you. You really are from a different time.
Slowly, slowly, he glides into you, letting you get accustomed to, and indulge in, every inch of him. You let out this beautiful, drawn-out moan of his name.
You feel nothing short of heaven around him. So warm, so wet, so divine. He bites his lip, unable to fathom how he could ever wait longer for such exquisite pleasure.
He draws back, letting his cock drag inside you until he pushes in again picking up the pace just a tad. With each thrust, he moves into a more substantial rhythm, and has you whining his name for it.
He wonders, briefly, if he's your first - probably not, you have little difficulty taking his size, little shame about bedding him. It sickens him to know he hasn’t claimed your purity, he’ll have you forget whoever did.
With that thought in mind, his hips slam into yours - you cry out his name. “Do that again!” you plead in a moan, fingers digging into his shoulders.
Oh, you like it rough? Why is he not surprised, he’s sure you long for him to wreck you as much as he does. That’s for another time however, first he wants to ease you into laying with him, enjoy your first time together.
He keeps his hips at that harsher pace though, fingers grasping your hips, not hard enough to bruise, despite how much he’d like to.
You squeal and moan, breath ragged. You look so perfect like this, flustered and sweaty and needy for him.
Are you about to reach your peak?
He thinks so – your thighs clamp around him as you throw your head back and chant his name like a prayer. He can feel you convulse around him, feel your spasms massage his cock as you come undone by it.
As you come down from that high, eyes glazed over in pleasure, he keeps going. After all he has his own high to chase.
Oh, how he longs to spill his seed inside you, have you bear the fruit of your bond, but not now - not when this world still exists. He will get you those herbs the women in the village take as precaution for next time.
Feeling how close he is, how imminent his orgasm is, he pulls out of you, you whine like a spoiled princess denied. He wraps his hand around his cock and starts to stroke, using your slick as lubrication. He doesn’t have to do so for long, not a moment later and he’s shooting thick ribbons of cum all over your stomach.
And you just lie there, and take it, like a whore - he loves that.
He pants and falls beside you, basking in that sweet, sinful haze.
“Cheers,” you murmur after a while. What a peculiar response, but he supposes you're from a different time, perhaps this is standard procedure.
Once he can muster the strength to, he gets you a rag of some sort to clean yourself off, and to prevent any dripping on his bedroll. You wipe it off your stomach.
"Would you like me to go?" you ask as you hand him back the rag.
With your clothes not even hung up to dry yet, he can't possibly send you away. He wouldn't want to anyway, he wants you here, with him, your soft and warm body against his.
He insists you stay in bed as he changes back into his trousers and leaves the tent. He hangs up your clothes to dry too, hopefully the wind will hurry the process along. He cooks up a meal of magikarp and rice, it’s not much, but some hot food will do you both good.
You slip into his coat and join him by the fire, you look so cute in his clothes. You happily, gratefully scarf down your meal, and regale him with stories of your day – apparently it was a Gyrados that caused you so much trouble earlier. He’s never been more thankful for such a beast.
Once you turn in for bed, he holds you close all night. How perfect you fit in his embrace, he never wants to let go.
When you do finally leave the next morning, well at that point, afternoon, after changing back into you now dry uniform and sharing some porridge and berries for breakfast, you make sure to give him a languid, tongue-filled kiss, a thanks of sorts, he thinks.
“Let’s do this again sometime,” you murmur after you part. He grins and nods, already planning how you would spend your next night together.

ABANDONED WIP WEDNESDAY
This is the second part of the last WIP Wednesday, which I can't link here because I'm writing this in the past and it hasn't been posted yet. I'll fix it later.
Here's the final WIP that I'll be posting in this major batch- I've hope you've enjoyed them this past month or so!
Anyway, this is the outline of the entire fic overall, as well as a scene from later on in the narrative!
Heroes and Villains- Ingo is a Dad Now (Part 2)
Length: 2,132 words
Rating: G
No archive warnings apply
Akari has light powers. (Get it? Light? I’m hilarious) This is a VERY powerful ability as you can do things like lasers and their ilk- but also illusions and invisibility. She can manipulate light which means she can make you see what she wants you to see. The commission obviously really wants her abilities, but she is a stubborn authority defying teenager. With amnesia. Her first memories are waking up in the commission building with them being oh so worried about her :(( and her catching their bad vibes immediately. She plays along though, before eventually breaking out and running away. She ends up being taken in by the (Pearl clan equivalent, I forgot what it was called lol) a few weeks after Ingo and immediately reverse adopts him due to the shared amnesia. Her claim to fame is “well he could be my dad. We don’t have any proof either way >:))” (they don’t particularly look alike) She also super wants to be a villain- but Drayden’s organization is not letting the teenager fight for them. (Except in very specific situations where she is in no danger they just need her illusionary abilities- and Ingo is there to make sure she doesn’t run off to punch someone)
the main plot line is (humorously) her relationship with Emmet. She’s able to easily connect the dots about him being Eeletross and is very not pleased with having a hero that can rat her out hanging around. Of course, they end up getting along just fine, especially because Emmet thinks she’s just paranoid and there’s no way the commission is after her
and then she goes missing
Ingo is besides himself, praying desperately that it isn’t the commission- but as time passes it becomes increasingly obvious that that’s what happened. Emmet is still in denial of course, and in his free time is looking for the devious criminal that stole his niece away (part of him is tempted to report the crime to the commission in order to get more help looking for her- but he promised, he’s not gunna break that promise) Something that makes this even sadder is that Akari had confessed to Emmet at one point that it was an inevitably. She’s knows that she can’t hide forever, that the commission will find her and take her away eventually- so she’s just enjoying the time she has now before it’s all taken away from her.
And then, months after Akari goes missing, Emmet is assigned to help a new recruit with physical training. It’s Akari.
Emmet finds a way to pull her aside and goes “what are you doing here??? Ingo’s worried sick! I thought you hated it here!” But Akari just kinda looks at him and is like “how do you know I don’t like the commission!?! Are you a mind reader??? And who’s Ingo?”
and then Emmet gets to have a crisis because a) she was right all along and b) she got her memory wiped again
Turns out that this is just a thing that happens with Akari!! She’s very hard to manipulate the old fashion way so they’ve had to resort to memory wipes! If she was anyone else they would declare someone as difficult as her just not worth it- but Akari is powerful. Her illusions are much too useful to just toss aside- so they keep going at her, locking her up under tighter and tighter security every time she escapes, becoming increasingly frustrated that despite the fact she has literally no memories that they cannot erase her subconscious feelings about the commission… which is that she very much does not like or trust them. They just need to find a way to break her, and then they will have all of this power at their disposal. It might take a while but they can do it. They’re quite patient after all.
Pen: Question: does Akari meet Ingo or smokestack first?
Not sure! Since this is from Emmet’s POV that stuff isn’t really important? He just finds his amnesiac brother and the next day sees a teenager crawling through the window via fire escape
I think she just showed up one day, amnesiac teenager on the run who got taken in- and then immediately imprinted on Ingo
Like, Calaba or something was supposed to take care of her but she declared Ingo is her dad now actually and they all have to just. Roll with that.
Other fun things to consider:
Emmet having no idea how to tell his brother that he found Akari in the hero commission
Emmet breaking Akari out and then having Akari just casually let slip to her dad that she’s so glad her uncle is a spy that could break her out
they actually break Akari
Vision is just our eyes taking in light bouncing off of stuff, so if you could bend that to your will….
This isn’t just a hyper realistic illusion that can affect one person- she can make illusions that everyone sees and no one can tell the difference
Her power is terrifying and the commission needs it
unlike most of my AU’s she’s a legit teenager here Complete with the teenage invincibility concept backed up by the fact that she’s super powerful, has amnesia, and is living the yolo life because she thinks she could be spirited away any minute
No one lets her be a super villain so she does that on her own. She was climbing in through the window because that’s just ‘how she is’. When she’s comfortable she has zero filter, self preservation instincts, or craps to give. (This terrifies Ingo)
It’s not like she goes to public school either- she can’t. She’s completely homeschooled and while she does well at that…. gestures she has free time
Everything she does is underlined with the knowledge that she is constantly minutes away from “death” (an erasure of personality and memories) so it’s not worth wasting time
She grows attached quickly but is extremely flighty, constantly putting on a don’t care attitude. she’s terrified, but what else is she supposed to do? Nothing she does really matters in the long run- the conclusion is still the same
I like the thought that she was an orphan kid. Ran away from every orphan program she was ever in and lived on the streets. Tuning her powers on her own. It’s why she’s got wandering feet even when she has a home (plus, being as hardened to societal programs makes her horrid at listening to orders)
Akari initially suggested that Ingo was her dad as a joke basically. She wanted to hang out with him more and that was the excuse she gave. She didn’t expect him to actually start acting like her dad and is high key terrified about how attached to him she is at this point
And, as promised, the small scene:
(Set after Ingo has met up with Eelektross and Akari several times in secret during Akari's on the field commission training)
The apartment is as silent as it gets when Ingo sits at the kitchen table, head in his hands and sigh on his lips. Melli had gone over to a friends place for the evening and Ingo didn’t have any plans that could delay this… conversation any further.
A conversation with himself. One that he has been putting of for quite a while.
Letting out a groan, Ingo slumps so his head is resting in his arms, the darkness helping him confront the mental beast head on.
No use putting it off any longer.
He starts with the facts, lining them up mentally like a legion of toy soldiers. Heroes are bad. Akari is a hero. Akari isn’t made bad by the fact the commission took her in- she’s still Akari and he still loves her.
Which means…. Some heroes can technically be good.
Ingo groans again as he lets his head drop all the way to the wooden table. He’s barely four facts in and he’s already completely over this “conversation” ….but it needs to be done, and Ingo doesn’t trust himself to try again if he aborts now.
Where was he? Oh right.
Some heroes can technically be good.
Right that…. He shifts tracks.
Eelektross hates him for killing his brother.
Honestly, Ingo can’t even blame him for his anger. If some hero came along and murdered Emmet, Ingo is fairly certain he would react the same way.
Elektross no longer thinks he killed his brother.
Which is because- No, not yet. Ingo doesn’t want to touch that one yet.
Elektross no longer hates him, and apologized for accusing him of murder.
Which is… much more then Ingo was ever expecting really. But more baffling-
Elektross has been taking care of Akari and taking her to see him.
Why?? How did he even know Akari was his child in the first place?? According to Akari that was the first thing he said to her- asking her what was she doing there and that telling her that her dad was worried. But not many people knew about Akari in the first place- or at least not in relation to him. The only real people who would know Akari would be the other Hisui residents and-
Nope. Backtrack.
Electross had been taking care of Akari and had been going behind the commissions back in order to let Ingo see her. Some heroes can technically be good. Elektross is technically a good guy.
Oh great, now Ingo feels nauseous. Squeezing his eyes shut eyes even harder, he try’s to get his roiling gut to accept the conclusion he’s come to.
But it’s true! Elektross has proven himself trustworthy time and time again- from the aforementioned Akari watching to just the fact that he HAS to know Ingo’s secret identity in order to know that hes Akari’s father…… and Ingo hasn’t had the commission knocking on his doors. Yet another part of his mind whispers- but he has no idea what eelektross would gain by waiting, so he puts that thought to the side as well.
Which leads him back to…. Elektross knows chandelure is alive. Elektross knows Ingo couldn’t have killed chandelure because he saw his face. Elektross recognized Ingo. Elektross must have known Ingo before his memory loss.
Oh he hates where this is going. Full of nervous energy, Ingo begins to pace around the kitchen, anxiously biting at the skin around his fingernails.
Elektross- No. Reroute.
Ingo did not steal chandelure’s powers- Emmet says he has always had them. Chandelure’s powers are extremely similar to Ingo’s. Ingo appeared shortly after-
Nope nope nope nope. Ingo falls into a crouch as he begins to clutch his forearms, desperately holding back his frantic breathing. He needs to- He needs-
There’s Lichtenberg scars on his arms. Emmet hadn’t wanted to talk about those.
Ingo finds this route a bit easier to take, his breathing evening out as he releases his death grip on his arms.
Emmet found him shortly after elektross saw his face. Emmet wasn’t surprised by the burn scar.
…Emmet knew Akari was his daughter.
Aaaaaand he was back to pacing, hands flapping in an attempt to rid himself of anxious energy. It wasn’t working.
Emmet was- Ingo was-
Emmet was a good person, which is why he couldn’t be a hero. ….but heroes can technically be good. Technically. Especially if- their parents died when they were pretty young right? So hypothetically…
Ugh no this wasn’t working either. How was he supposed to….
Gray zones. Right. Some half remembered psychological thing that Ingo had no idea where he learned- maybe before the amnesia? Yes so, gray zones. Not everything is black and white. People can change. People can be good people but make bad mistakes. People can be-
Ingo is chandelure. Heroes are bad and if Ingo was a hero then that means Ingo is bad and-
He rushes to the bathroom to throw up, barely having enough time to pull up the toilet lid before puking his guts out. He’s pretty sure he’s crying.
But if Ingo is chandelure that means that-
Emmet is Elektross.
Emmet’s been taking care of his daughter for him.
Something in Ingo gives as he slumps in place, the agony of the previous reveal buried in the wake of the sheer relief he feels at the moment. Because Emmet is a good person who loves Ingo and Akari- and he will take care of her and help get her home.
And that’s more important then anything else isn’t it?
The rest of the night was spent in and out of a long running panic attack over the chandelure thing- but by the time the sun had risen Ingo had mostly made peace with himself. Mostly.

There is an outpost on the edge of the Oina territory, and not a far journey from the passageway Ikken told you about. The guards posted apparently rotate every month, and just your luck, the next pair leaves to trade out tomorrow. Thanks to Ikken, you'll be following Akari and Burai out at dawn, taking you most of the way you need to go. He even promised to give you one of his old maps for your journey south... well, he'll trade it in exchange for a favor... that being to bring Akemi back home along your way.
("Do you normally stay in Wep'keer this long at a time?" you had asked her that evening, and Akemi argued that it's a very long walk for someone her size, before sheepishly musing that she was going to be in so much trouble...)
You try your best to get some sleep, but your nightmares prove persistent. The dead are restless as always, but even more so now that you plan to leave. Every time you wake, you're left with the phantom chill of icy fingerprints on your limbs, clasped around your ankles, tugging you back by the arms, hooked around your shoulders and wrapped around your throat.
Why should you get to leave? they whisper, echoing louder in your skull and off the walls each time you awaken. How do you lead so many to death and bring a curse upon the world, and still get to walk away a second time?
The third time you jolt awake, you sit up to find the room is suddenly way too small, too warm, to the point where it's actually hard to take a comfortable breath. You have to go outside, at least for a moment.
You try your best to be quiet as you push open the door, and the cold air on your face is an immediate relief, however small. You don't go very far, opting to just stare up into the sky from a few steps away. The moon is barely a sliver, and you'll be lucky if any of it's left in tomorrow's sky. Not exactly the most promising omen... especially for you.
"Even with travel in the morning, you're once again wide awake..."
Glancing over your shoulder has Yawa staring back at you. Ah, damnit, and you had tried to be so quiet. "I'm starting to wonder if maybe you belong in the moonlight," she muses, tilting her head to the side. "It certainly seems to have an effect on you every time you're standing in it."
"Sorry to wake you. Just... needed some fresh air." You still have no idea what she means by that, but still do your best to casually wave her off. "I'll be inside in a moment, promise. You can go back to sleep."
Not surprisingly, Yawa isn't deterred by this, and instead tromps over to join you. You're half-expecting to get dragged back by the ear, but instead she just studies your face; it's almost torture how silent she stays, and how long she does so.
"So many thoughts behind those eyes," she eventually murmurs. "What's on your mind Waka? Wondering if perhaps you should stay instead?"
You shake your head. "I can't stay, and I know that, but..." You glance back up, though instead of the moon your eyes settle on the uppermost path. "It still feels a bit... wrong, I guess. Leaving them behind like this."
"You mean the ones who died..." Yawa hums a bit, and out of the corner of your eye you see her following your gaze. "You worry you're abandoning them?"
"Am I not, in a way?" You offer her a shrug, eyes not once leaving the horizon. "Not that I have much choice in the matter, but... do they understand? Or even care?"
Another hum, this one as if she finally understands. "You fear they'd resent you, then."
You really don't like how this woman's managing to cut to the core of you. Should you tell her? Should she be the first you confess the blood on your hands to? Maybe she already knows; Yawa would've been first to hear whatever you'd end up mumbling in your sleep. Maybe it's your imagination, but you swear the wind is still moaning with the dead's laments, carrying them from Lake Laochi to drift past the two of you.
Of all the people who fled the Celestial Plain... of all the people who should have lived or died...
"If any one of us that boarded that Ark should currently be dead on its floor, it's certainly me." For many, many reasons. The wind hisses past your ears as you raise your gaze back to the moon, and your heart aches at how empty it looks with just one little sliver left. "A prophet rarely sees his own future... perhaps I'm just running from my fate, and I don't even realize I'm doing it."
There's a long pause... then a set of hands on your face as Yawa gently pulls you down to look her in the eye. "Listen to me, Waka. I can't speak to how life was on the Celestial Plain, but here? Life is a gift, one that you're never guaranteed to keep. Even the gods that are dead would want you to live that life instead of spending your days asking whether or not you deserve to do so."
If only she knew why you're questioning it. The little 'heh' that escapes you is mirthless, flat as the ice on the lake. "You make it sound like that's so easy."
"Oh, it's definitely not. There are days that being alive feels more like a miserable curse than a gift." Her thumbs brush the corners of your eyes, and it's only now you realized you're teary. "But no one--not even the gods--can change what's happened; we can only choose how to move forward. The sun will still rise tomorrow whether we're ready for it or not, and it's up to us what we do with the day it brings." She chuckles a little. "Speaking of the sun, you still have that goddess to meet up with, yes? Certainly she wouldn't resent seeing that the escape wasn't completely in vain."
That's now two people who've said something like that. The mention of Amaterasu does rouse your spirit again, though the feeling is wavering dangerously, teetering on a knife's edge and threatening to slip from your grasp. Yawa seems to sense this, and before you can speak any doubts, she leans forward to rest her forehead on yours.
"Honor her and the dead by allowing yourself to live," she murmurs. "Don't let that resolve you share fade away by the time you meet again."
Resolve... that seems a good word for it. It's what fueled the fight on the Celestial Plain, and what's stirred in your memory to keep you going thus far. The breath you take is shaky, but the flickering feeling evens itself out into something smoother, warmer, burning just a little more steadily. Just enough.
"How did you get to be so wise, Yawa?" you murmur, and she huffs a quiet laugh.
"I'm a grandmother, dear. We're all wise." She pats your cheeks a few times before letting go of your face. "Now come inside before the cold makes you sick. You have quite the journey ahead of you, and Burai will be cross if he has to carry you a second time."

I feel so cringe, I'm hyperfixating on my own AU so hard right now. Who let me do this?
Anyways, I'm going to ramble about my N in Hisui AU real quick because I'll go insane if I don't talk about it. Nothing specific, just stuff that I want to get out in no particular order.
I absolutely adore the idea of making N complete a Pokedex, no ifs, ands or buts about it. And its really just salt in the wound that it's the first one to exist (at least in the Hisui/Sinnoh region). This is going to be a world changing compilation of information that will influence how people interact with Pokemon for generations to come, a staple of the modern world of Pokemon research. And here's N, having no choice but to contribute to that.
Arceus (and also the worship of Arceus) is not as prominent in Unova as it is in Sinnoh but N is at least aware of who Arceus is (especially after it speaks to him before drop kicking him into the past). In a weird sense, N considers Arceus his friend, much like he considers every other Pokemon his friend in the same way. N doing this for Arceus is a weird mix between "doing a favor for your buddy" and "God himself just spoke to me Joan of Arc style and now I guess my whole life is doing side quests for the divine." All joking aside, N's relationship towards Pokemon is a big reason why he begrudgingly is okay with this. Not only is an all powerful being basically demanding it of him (he can't go back to Unova if he doesn't), but also. His friend needs something from him.
(More rambles under the cut, this post is just getting really long lol)
And then there's also how Team Plasma is reacting back in the modern day. Their King is just. Gone. Bye, bye, see you later. Where'd he go? Who knows but they really need to find him. And Ghetsis is so pissed. He's waited years to take control of Unova (and eventually the world) and just when he's so close to finally having achieved that, his main pawn just vanishes without a trace. N hasn't even awoken Zekrom yet so Ghetsis can't even command it in N's absence. Team Plasma is in full on panic mode with N gone and no matter how hard they look, they just can't seem to find him.
Meanwhile, back in the past, N has been found by the Galaxy Team and he despises them and pretty much anything they do. He's miserable working with them. From their usage of Pokeballs, to their goal of completing the Pokedex, to the way they talk about Pokemon is such a horrid way, everything about them turns N off from them. The one thing he does slightly enjoy is the pastures. Since boxes and PCs don't exist yet, the caught Pokemon are left in the pastures instead which N feels is much more humane and a nicer way to treat them. He still believes they shouldn't have been caught at all but small victories and all that.
N dislikes Pokemon professors and Professor Laventon is no exception. And his assistants aren't much better either. They're pretty amazed at not only his fearlessness about Pokemon but his ability to communicate with them as well. I mean, from Professor Laventon's perspective, that could fundamentally change researching Pokemon as a whole. N wants nothing to do with him and frequently gets angry with him for prodding him about his abilities. His friends aren't tools for research and neither is he.
But Rei and Akari? Oh, they think N is so cool. He's fearless about Pokemon in a way no one has ever seen before and he can talk to them? To these two fifteen year olds, he's one of the coolest adults ever.
And speaking of those interested in N. Volo. I don't even know where to start with the dynamic these two would have. Volo is interested in N right from the get go and this person who "fell from the sky" and is only even more intrigued when he learns N can communicate with Pokemon. N considers Volo to be just a regular human like all the rest and cannot understand why Volo is so insistent on being around him. N, being Arceus' "chosen one" as you could put it, is automatically of interest to Volo. Obviously, Volo has no knowledge of N's role as Hero of Ideals but if he ever found out, it would not be surprising to him, based solely on the way N acts. And, as Volo is the way he is, he has this bitterness towards N over Arceus communicating with him. Is it because N is special? Or does Arceus simply like anyone else more than Volo? Either way, N's both an object of Volo's intrigue and also someone he maybe kind of hates a little bit.
I have more thoughts but that'll probably be another post, this is already long and I am tired. But as always, feel free to send me asks about this AU, I will never turn down an opportunity to talk about it and I love it when people engage with stuff I make :)c

Well, considering that I'm coming out of not being able to move my dominant hand for a long time (I couldn't draw cries), I'll ask questions.
Also-ran Will Brie have interactions with other characters? (I'm talking about characters like Red, Blue, Gold, Green, etc.)
Publicity is important, and considering that she wears clothes from a brand originating from Paldea, would they invite the little changeling to Paldea so she can talk about something? I could also give talks to children who feel abandoned (something quite common, but not said, at least in the anime, Brock and his brothers are a great example, even if that is in Kanto)
At some official gala/event she said "what the hell" to the repercussions and just took off her shoes?
Considering everything about how people try to imitate her idols, what have been the waves in the population in trying to follow her and be equal to her? (the girl is feral, she is made differently, even if they managed to give her a life outside the forest)
How would she behave if she went to Alola? (her parents are pokemon, and Alola is one of those who most see pokemon as equals)
Into the wild Do you know the "El Macho" meme from Despicable Me? is that Volo? (he has a son with what I think is one of your wildest ocs, she fishes with her teeth!)
The Wisteria Does she also show her love with bites? (like when cats get affection overload)
What would her future relationship with Shinjuro be like? (because, you know, alcoholism, even though he left it that's how she met him)
Does the Cat stay with the Owl? What is her ship name?
Would she plant a tree like the one she had in the backyard of the house? (because of the symbolism and familiarity)
Gone Fishing I feel like I know her but at the same time I don't, any information about her?
Will she be one of those who hides or will she send everything to hell with her and not care how people look at her because she is proud of her? (because, you know, racism)
I feel like her clothing style is that of a surfer and/or swimmer, I also feel like she dresses like Nani from Lilo and Stitch? (Also, Nani is a goddess, she gave everything for her sister, and David is a loving person, I also adore him)
I'VE BEEN STRUGGLING TO ANSWER THIS ASK BUT TUMBLR MOBILE HAS BEEN SCREWING ME OVER BY GETTING RID OF MY STUFF BEFORE I HAVE A CHANCE TO SAVE FOSKFNNF
ANYWAYS.
yes, brie will have her interactions with others, and as a reminder, Alola Noa and Scarnoa are also in this same continuity, so...lmao :V
Sawyer might pop up, I need to cook more with her first before I come up with an answer. And Punch Baby Akari definitely did exist, her bloodline continues lmao
She'd get along with the Pokemon of Alola so, so well, especially qhen interacting with the Tapus.
AND YES I KNOW EL MACHO, LMAO, yeah that sounds about right.
Andou does show love through bites, watch out. And the Cat and Owl shipname would be idk, Sunflower?? That sounds cute.
Andou sticks around close enough, though she will move in with Himejima, she just bounces from one place to another for training and socialization.
Shinjuro needs to pspspps for kitty to warm up to him. It'll take a while, but eventually. And yes, plant tree for Fujisaki house. :V
Mako is still a babbu, but she is very feral and a brat kid who drives her papa up the wall. But she is love and cherished. And also pretty fucked mentally since she's matured wayyyy to quickly for anyone of her physical age (its the discrimination and injustices)
Also yes, she'd vibe with Nani wear, tho she mostly sticks with comfy clothes.
At least until Nami and the others get to her, so she goes from shorts and t shirts to haltertops at the least, brought to you by Nami growing tired of her dorsal fin ripping the back of her shirts lmao.
She's the ship dress up doll at times lmao.
Otherwise, she keeps to herself unless otherwise. She checks for the right timing, if she sees it, she'll take it and say whats on her mind
Mainly when she knows she isnt alone to face the backlash lmao

Well now that I've finished all the short character blurbs (with the exception of Paldea's crew) I just wanted to make a rambling little post about some of my reasons for certain headcanons in this AU. There's a lot of nonsense that I imagined and reached for as I played through the games!
- Starting off strong with a few about one of my favorite families with the BYG cousins first: why I made Elio, Gloria, Hilda, and Nate all related. It's all because of the player characters mom designs for each of them- especially the Alolan mom having such similar hair to Hilda and the Unovan mom- so I thought it would be fun to have them interconnect!
- Touya and Leaf being related to Bill- Bill canonically has a lot of siblings, so fitting Leaf into his family as his youngest sister was easy. And he has a sister in Fuchsia city with her son in game, so I liked to think that the little boy was Touya who eventually moved to Unova. Bonus points for being able to draw them all with the same bangs as Bill.
- Kris and Solana from pokemon rangers being related- purely aesthetic reasons and very self indulgent. The Ranger games are very dear to my heart and I wanna get around to them sometime!
- Hilda and Nate being forgettable: Hilda bc she's absent in the sequel so I felt like she would be more like an important presence with no real face to the name, and for Nate I feel like he's not as remembered for BW2 in comparison to Rosa (while that just may be my perception of it) so I gave him that same energy as well.
- Kris is in a similar, but different, predicament as them. Kris as a character only appeared in one game before Masters, so by the initial time of the Invitation Comics, she's sort of used to being overshadowed or forgotten in both her research and champ title. She's also been my FAVORITE PROTAG since I was a REALLY young kid, and her and Hilda are still tied for first in my favs!! So I really wanted to give her a personal arc about making her own name for herself.
- Jana's entire existence: I played pokemon Moon first, and when I played Ultra Moon after, the Selene from Moon, and the Selene from UM acted out like different characters in my head, so I made Jana to embody some of those points I imagined for that Moon protag.
- Making Calem a contest coordinator is the randomest HC that may not fit at first with his character, but I imagine there being different types of contests. Ones that are flashier or musical ones that Shauna might participate in (EDIT: changing Calem's side hobbies to fencing in lieu of the contest participation)
- Another reason why I refer to Shauna as an idol as she does different kinds of shows professionally, and Calem as just a coordinator, is because he does limited shows for fun.
- Selene is based on the little girl in the house of Professor Rowan's assistant in game, who talks about pokemon trivia when talked to. I wanted to tie the faller story components to her personally, and an encounter with the distortion world was the perfect opportunity! SM and USUM was the first time I wrote my headcanons down when playing, so technically it's the first organized piece of the POKEVERSE I made back in 2016-17 👍
- It's been a default to ship the player characters together, and will most likely continue being the case- save for one brain rot exception to that rule: postwickshipping. Hop and Gloria were the first and only ship I've deviated from that just because of their interactions through the game. Florian x Juliana brings me back to the protag ships though, and I have some plans for how the Paldea timeline plays out differently in this world!
- The whole Interpol relation to Hilda's family comes solely from Looker's appearance in the BW postgame. I'll probably make a whole post about how Hilda's mom and dad are relevant in other things in Unova, so I won't talk about it too much here.
- Making Johanna be Akari: I wanted to take a present day character to be Akari that wasn't Dawn. No one else fit the bill other than Johanna, and I really enjoyed making it work in this AU!
That's all the ones I could think of today. If you did go through these, thanks for reading! This POKEVERSE is just a culmination of self indulgence of how I pictured the games as I played, and I do plan on replaying through the games to reconstruct what I keep and change through the stories! Until next post 👍

Imagine if after the game plot the reader manages to find a way home AND to go back and forth between worlds thanks to Arceus.
And just because even through time of that universe just because i NEED to see Ingo reunite with Emmet, i'll commit a war crime if they're not reunited.
But anyways, the reader doesn't work for team galaxy anymore and randomly (and very often) visits the cast.
Kamado one day finds on his desk a picture of y/n, Akari, Rei, Ingo (+Emmet bc i said so 😡) Cyllene and Laventon in modern clothing at what seems to be a restaurant, on the back there's written "guess who's the loser that didn't get invited? You."
So ya, i also wanna take Volo in a trip to show him cool places, like, i live in Italy and pretty close to Venice so i think he would enjoy it.
Honestly, same. I will cry if Gamefreak never resolves this plotline. i NEED Emmet and Ingo reunited. Imagine like,, You bring them all sorts of gifts from the future, and even find ways to bring them with you. With Arceus’ permission, of course. They can usually only stay for about as long as a sleepover, never more than 2-3 days. Same goes for anyone going into the past with you. Except Ingo and Emmet. You had to argue with god about that, but they eventually relented when you told them Ingo and Emmet would just constantly swap out instead. Ingo is from the future, anyway. Not a lot Arceus can do on that front. ajfkjkjfdksajfdkj The idea that you manage to get the whole gang together for a photo in the future just to spite Kamado. Bring him gifts, but its like, just 1 cornchip. Or like, a plain muffin. Volo would probably be ecstatic if you wished to include him. He’s curious to see what the future holds. Take him backpacking. It’s probably help ground him a bit. He’d especially love seeing the different cultures and cities! Even if he doesn’t outright admit it!

yeah I was taking a break, still taking it easy though but I am amazed by all the content you've shared while I was gone.
Wonderful art AND an AMAZING animation!
I was surprised and not surprised. From what I have seen from you I know what you're capable of but I didn't expect anything this soon! The fact it looks like it can loop is also so well thought out. Trapped in an cycle with Jörmun. Ember evolving. Ingo commanding both Teams as Akari searches her Satchel. The tension building up until the "chomp" cutting to red.
Also a lot of bravo and wow for Jörmuns animations. You can feel the power of this huge Garchomp right out of the animation. The movements radiate so much power, speed and strength. It's breathtaking. You know that things are serious even without the context of what has been established.
Also hoping the dream anon gets their eyes on these.
I already know I will be having these scenes playing over again in my head when I'll be reading the part when it comes out (no rush pls, take all the time you need, good things need their time) the fact that you plan to finish it eventually... this is yet another thing to look forward to in time. So many treats to look forward to. I don't know how things will go on a personal level but knowing there are treats on the horizon no matter how long it takes is something giving me motivation to see through them.
And the art you've shared last month has also been fun and sweet. Even if updates aren't as frequent as they used to be (which is fine and valid) they still have the same positive impact like they used to.
And while I am still not doing too great they do their part and sweeten up things. A little thing to make a difference, thank you so much!
Hope things are great on your end, that you've been able to rest and have plenty of good times! Also always remember to be hydrated and well rested!
In regards to the animatic I made for I Won’t Leave You Behind
WOW, thank you so much for such kind words, friend!! I’m really glad you appreciate it and took time to leave such a nice analysis on my animatic choices!!!
I’m especially excited to get out the parts for Ingo commanding both teams. At one point, he will essentially be pairing two Pokémon together for attacks (to ensure one can make an opening for the other) to try and get an advantage on Jörmun, while Akari is trying to find something useful. The double battle style will remind him verrrry much of someone else and their specialized battle tactics.
I’m really happy you’re looking forward to it!! I know things have slowed down a lot around here; while posting anxiety has gotten really strong, the biggest issue is that a variety of health struggles have really sapped my mental clarity, and my will to imagine anything creative lately. I am still working on a lot of projects as I do enjoy them, but the process is pretty hard and slow right now.
I oftentimes feel bad about how little I’ve posted lately, because I’ve been greatly frustrated with my delayed process — I somehow used to be way more active back when I was also juggling university!!! So it really does mean a lot to hear that you really like what I HAVE put out, and that you find them fun and sweet. Genuinely, thank you so much ^^ <3
AND LIKEWISE FRIEND!! I know things have been tough lately and I do hope things become kinder to you as soon as they can; I can see you are very strong for dealing with everything you have, and I’m happy you’re still getting through it. I hope lots of positivity and rest and relief finds you!! I am very happy to hear from you again ^^
#wayward’s asks#I hope your break was a good one and that the coming days weeks and months treat you well!!

I sent an ask where when we finally meet miyuki family. There reaction is going to be da fuk is this mofo ( Tetsuya) and DA FUK is Dat ( baby akari) followed by sniff sniff hiss sniff hiss proxy like a 1 hr later purring and grooming the baby human. Personally I can't wait till the clans find out about her and her pokemon family I bet it will dawn on them why the noble pokemon stole clothes.
Oh right, that - that one didnt get eaten. I just saved it as a draft because tumblr was being fucky with it's new system and I was like, alright, I'll check it out.
ONLY to find out that I can't paste images directly and I'm all "OH FUCK THAT".
so I was able to go back by saving it as a draft and whoop, I'm back to normal.
I JUST FORGOT ABOUT IT AFTER THAT BECAUSE I GOT BUSY.
ANYWAYS...
It’s gonna be pretty hectic once Miyuki introduces her family to her pack. Definitely gonna be ominous growling, before eventually warming up to them.
And absolutely!!!
It doesn’t take the clans too long to put two and two together, especially with a certain old lady who is actually related to Punch Baby Akari, SOOOO...
yeah, fun times. :V
(been meaning to post about it for a while, but I kept forgetting, also, seeing as Akari is already super fucking tiny, this new development is just “ahh, yes - genes fucked you over this time)
Anyways, sorry for taking too long to reply!! Again, I had this in my drafts, so I often forgot about it. But not anymore!!!
