When I listened to the song for the first time I had no clue what that whistling sound was, I took it in stride and went on. Then I started seeing posts of people being like "he shot the siren " "not Ody shooting the siren " and don't ask me why but my brain went " Yes , clearly Odysseus got a whole ass pistol and shot her " even though I KNOW his whole thing is being a really good archer and that is how Penny recognizes him when he gets back to ithaca et cetera et cetera
