*puts on tinfoil conspiracy hat and adjusts string board*
So I'm here to talk about who is going to be/might be in the Colbert one shot that Critical Role is doing for Red Nose Day this year.
Various and sundry crew members have been posting from New York for the last few days and the lovely Jerry(Project Coordinator at CR) confirmed that last night was the "Cast/Crew's" last night in New York City. From this and past posts from him, Schmidt(the Director of Photography at CR who rocks a Unicorn hoodie incredibly well) and Chris Willmott(Audio Engineer at CR)we know that at least the crew has been in NYC for most of this past week.
There have been many photos of them on subways and in New Jersey(WHY JERSEY???)and at Home Depot so I'm intensely curious about what's going on there(Maybe Matt couldn't get his Dwarven Forge through security this time??)
My guess is they likely filmed the one shot yesterday(Friday April 8th)and they're all coming back to LA today(Saturday April 9th). Now, as to who is going to be in this one shot along with Colbert...I have some thoughts.
1. Matt is running it and their one shots seem to have a total of five players plus the DM
2. Colbert accounts for one player which leaves four spots open for cast members.
3. Marisha is going to be there regardless so I have a feeling she will be one of the four cast members that will be playing in this one shot.
4. Sam is one of the other players. I have this on incredibly good authority(thanks inside source 🤫)and I'm honestly stoked to see Veth/Nott again.
5. This leaves two open slots: I do not believe it's Aimee or Robbie as they have both been spotted in LA in the last 24-48 hours. Robbie hiking for his Mt. Whitney training and Aimee being seen at a Billie Eilish concert along with her husband and Quyen. My guesses are Liam and possibly Travis or Ashley. (Yes I just want the Husbands to have gone to New York together okay? I'm predictable)Again I could be way off base but it just feels like it should be Liam and Ashley tbh. More Yasha content is always good(since the M9 won the poll)and I'm a sucker for Liam just in general.
If anyone has any other predictions for cast members please let me know!! This is just me going off some information and some hunches

British Swimming Selection Trials 2021
A huge congratulations to all the F-teamers who competed at the British Swimming Selection Trials. Despite the challenges they have faced this past year, with the lack of pool time and endless zoom sessions, the competition was filled with countless PB's, medals and qualification times.
There were brilliant swims from day one, kicking off with the 200m Freestyle, which had Candice Hall and Mia Slevin in the final with both achieving personal best times. Aimee Willmott had a phenomenal swim in the 400m IM, finishing first and under the consideration time for Team GB. She took just over 2 seconds off her PB, touching the wall in 4:35.70. Freya Colbert and Katie Shanahan also joined her in the final with Katie finishing 4th and Freya in 5th.
Laura Stephens had a storming couple of days, starting with the 100m Butterfly. With a close finish she touched the wall in 2nd, just outside of the consideration time. After getting a PB in the heats, she broke it again in the final, in the time of 57.98. Harriet West and Tain Bruce (8th) improved on their times from the heats. Harriet was just over a second off her PB, placing 6th (59.79).
Leah Crisp had a brilliant swim in the 800m Freestyle, winning gold. Just 4 seconds off her PB, she touched the wall in 8:44.67. Freya Colbert was just reached out for bronze. Honey Osrin PB'd in the heats of the 100m Backstroke and again in the final (1:01.64) where she finished 7th. Charlotte Evans closely followed her in 8th. Chloe Golding, Katie Shanahan, and Sophie Freeman also competed in heats. The 200m Breaststroke saw Joceyln Ulyett swim her way to a bronze medal in a time of 2:24.40, which is 1 second off the qualification time. Katie Shanahan also raced in the heats.
All F-Teamers who competed in the heats on Day 3 qualified for the finals. The evening started with Laura Stephens coming third in the 200m Butterfly, only 1.2 seconds off the qualification time. Ciara Schlosshan and Sophie Freeman also raced in that final, coming 5th and 7th. The 400m Freestyle final was filled with F-Teamers who all improved on their heat times. Leah Crisp had an excellent swim winning silver with a time of 4:14.03. It was a close finish between Freya Colbert (4th) and Mia Slevin (5th) with just .28 separating them.
Tain Bruce started off the finals on day 4, swimming the 100m Freestyle and finishing just 0.5 off her PB. Honey Osrin came 3rd in the 200m Backstroke, in a time of 2:11.76 and less than a 1 second off her PB. Charlotte Evans closely followed her in 4th and Chloe Golding was 5th. There were also big swims from the women in the 200m IM. Candice Hall won bronze in a personal best time of 2:13.67. Coming in just 0.13 seconds later was Katie Shanahan with a PB (2.13.90). Freya Colbert finished the final in 8th place after a big week - the 200m IM was her 6th event of the week.
The final day began with Leah Crisp racing to her second gold medal in the 1500m Freestyle. Imogen Clark and Jocelyn Ulyett closed the competition for the F-Team, with both swimming faster than their heat swims in the 100m Breaststroke.

Funkita UK F-Teamers Ready for British Trials
Next week, one year later than planned, the British Trials will finally take place for Team GB at the London Aquatic Centre from the 14th-18th April.
The meet is a chance for swimmers to swim benchmark times mid-season before looking to improve in the Summer. This year it will look very different. Dubbed the 'British Swimming Selection Trials' only the very top British swimmers have had the opportunity to enter. Very few heats, very fast swimming, and very few specific times to target for the swimmers in the pool. This year the selection policy is based on consideration times. Swim under that time and you will be considered for a space, not guaranteed as in previous years. There is then the potential for those swimmers who are very close or in tough competitions to battle again at the European Championships. So, with all the uncertainty, swimmers will be aiming to swim as fast as possible to bag a spot on the team headed to Tokyo! The first swimmers with a seat on the plane should be announced on April 21st.
On day one, veteran F-Teamer Aimee Willmott, will make her bid to qualify in the women's 400m Individual Medley
'My dream came true in London 9 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. It will be very surreal stepping up to the block to make my campaign for the third time, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge. It never gets easier but as I've got older I have learned to try and enjoy the trials a lot more. After all, this could be one of my last competitive races.'
Last year Coivd-19 almost crushed that dream for many swimmers but for some, a 12-month delay has meant more time to prepare, fine tune, work even harder and come back with more fire in their belly.
Having been in water since last June, Laura Stephens is looking for some fast swims. With the 100m and 200m Butterfly to look forward to, PBs are the only thing on her mind. With a current personal best of 2:07.62 Laura is looking in fine form. 'After a very tough year (for everybody) it would be great to swim well. The 200m Butterfly is my main event, and that is the one I have been working towards in training. I'm really excited to see the hard work I have put in pay off.'
Candice Hall is also looking to push for Qualification. Candice will swim the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle as well as the 200m IM. With a 200m Freestyle PB of 2:00.51 Candice is looking to finish top 4 in the event. 'I'm really looking forward to racing the 200m Freestyle as I believe I am in really good shape and I know there's lots of opportunities up for grabs in that event, especially with relays. I would love to PB in every event but my main focus is to finish top 4 to be considered for relay selection
However, selection isn't on everyone's mind. Some of our younger F-Teamers, who are fast enough to qualify, will be looking to gain experience swimming at Trials to better prepare themselves for 2024!
Katie Goodburn is looking to do just that. With over 12 months without any official competition she's excited to finally step up to the block. With a focus on improving her times this season ahead of the Commonwealth Games next year, she will race the 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle and 100m Breaststroke events at Trials. 'I am mostly looking forward to my 100m Breaststroke where I feel I can make the most improvement. I have been working a lot on my underwater and technical elements over the last year. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is wearing a face mask poolside as that will be new for me.' Katie will also be looking to swim close to the Team Scotland Commonwealth Games targets for next year's games in Birmingham.
Freya Colbert will have plenty of racing to do next week as she also looks to better herself in the junior rankings worldwide. With the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m Freestyle plus the 200m and 400m IM, Freya has plenty of opportunity to race hard and fast. 'I haven't been back in the water as long as some of the swimmers there, for me it was December but I am really looking forward to both my 400s.'
For most the pandemic forced us into the same routine day in, day out, but Ciara Schlosshan moved to Bath 10 months ago and has been enjoying a different environment. 'I have entered the 100m and 200m butterfly but I am most looking forward to the 200m. It's my favourite event to swim as it's such a tactical race and all of my training is geared towards the 200 as well. I would like to have a successful trials and get some PBs. It's been a crazy year so I am going to enjoy it and feel grateful to be racing at the London Olympic pool in the midst of a pandemic!'
Charlotte Evans is also very grateful to be competing at the Trials, especially as it's at the London Aquatic Centre. With seasonal best times of 1:02.00 and 2:12.00 in the 100m and 200m Backstroke events Charlotte is aiming to better them and finish on the podium. See below racing schedule for Trials 14 April Aimee Willmott - 400 IM Candice Hall, Honey Osrin, Mia Slevin, Leah Crisp - 200 Free Freya Colbert - 200 Free + 400 IM Laura Stephens, Ciara Schlosshan, Sophie Freeman, Tain Bruce, Harriet West - 100 Fly 15 April Freya Colbert, Leah Crisp - 800 Free Charlotte Evans, Honey Osrin, Chloe Golding, Katie Shanahan - 100 Back Jocelyn Ulytett - 200 Breast
