Me: *manages to kill the final boss in one try*

Me: Yay!

Computer: lol

Game: *crashes*

Me: ...

Me: *cleans out the usual problems with the computer, but is so peeved that she doesn’t attempt the quest again for a couple of days*

Me: *tries again*

Me: *takes over six tries on that same damned boss with the same character*

Computer: *works perfectly*

Me: ...

Geez, you're pushing it now. Bad enough with the mobile data saga, but you're messing with my internet connection now, and that's dangerous. I'm PMDDing and on day one of my period. You do NOT want to keep doing this.

I might be counting my chickens before they hatch, but so far the computer hasn't BSoDed at me in a while. Here's hoping.

Nope, the eggs are still eggs - I managed to play GW2 long enough to get the daily done, then it irretrievably crashed again. Back to the drawing board.

The worst part about going away is coming home and dealing with my gaming rig. It always craps itself after having been turned off for any length of time, and GW2 is this time's major casualty.

Telecommunications Company: Wut? Ok lol u can get that done now or on January 1st which wud b better coz it won't screw ur billing cycle

Us: What the hell?

TelCom: Uh we don't know what happened, so now you have to open yet another new account. Husband's phone isn't in it though bcoz lol and guess what! He has no data for a week LOLZ. Also he's not the primary on the new account so yay!!!

TelCom: but u get money back - but it's to your original account so lol it's no good! Maybe we work it out 4 u in a month or 2!

All I wanted to do today was to play some SWTOR, listen to podcasts, and scroll Tumblr. However the internet has been out all day, and our service is a pain to report to. I seriously don't want to call them as the last time I did that they refused to listen to me when I told them I'd already done all the standard things, and sent out a technician who did exactly nothing except talk down to me and say that it was because of the (unattached) splitter that had been sitting there since before we moved in here. Pro tip: it wasn't. Technician got a free splitter out of it, though. *takes a deep breath* I was supposed to have a counselling appointment tonight, but the internet is out, so that's out. And given our tiny mobile data plan, I'm only "allowed" to use Tumblr on wifi. I've only swapped it to mobile data now so I can whine at you lot. /pout

Phew

It was a struggle, and the game crashed while I was selecting my final reward, but Tanaris is now the Eternal Victor. My sweet boy. I'll post screenshots when my gaming rig is behaving/replaced again.

Well, I was going to spend the evening doing DvL stuff, but my computer has decided it wants to die now. Ugh.

Just when I think I may be able to do operations again, the power goes out and takes my gaming rig with it in a BSoD. Here we go again with the restart-until-it-stays rigmarole.

My stomach is dead sore, I had a headache that combined with such kept me awake most of the night… Yeah, I didn’t get to those prompts, but I will!

Me: Sod it, I'm just going to post a bare arsed list.

Laptop, I haven’t even had you a year, and I haven’t used you half as hard as the old one. Y U not start up? 8-/

Sucky

Earlier this evening I was having technical difficulties. My computer was wallowing like a  beached blue whale, and I had to do a reboot to get it going again.

Then my phone - where my SWTOR security key is - wouldn’t boot up. It turns out I need a new power cord as the one I currently have is a wee bit frayed, but it was quite annoying there for a while.

The computer continued to wallow, necessitating another reboot.

Meanwhile deathcupcake  was wondering where I was for our usual evening flashpoint roflstomp for conquest. But I finally got on, and thought that we could run a Kuat for her baby Togruta.

We got oleandersone and my husband together, and it was going really rather swimmingly ... until the final boss. Cue poor Cupcake getting DCed and being unable to come back in thanks to her own net problems.

She waited all that time just to be DCed herself.

So damned sucky.  8-(

I miss my laptop. It made answering memes so much easier.

My laptop is trying to go to god. I have managed to get it to boot this time, but I'm afraid that now I'm getting into a writing groove, the computer isn't coping.  8-/

And this after dealing with my gaming rig BSoDing time after time after time a day ago, too. Grr!
