Ailin Perez takes UD over Karol Rosa

Rosa out kickboxes Ailin Perez. Not sure what Rosa did to take two rounds of that honestly. Not without struggle. While Perez did not offer much on the feet, she did manage to score a couple of takedowns by charging into Rosa as she threw the right hand. Rosa has a nasty habit of falling into the punch, allowing for Perez to get to collapse into the body and score takedowns from there. That said, Perez did nothing with them and spent most of the last two rounds getting leg kicked to death on the feet.

Please, someone with a gym just go up to like Nanea Estrella, Macey Kilty, or Sara Sterner (both top ranked NWCA wrestlers) to try MMA. Cause if Perez can make it to 5-1 in the UFC with just a basic body lock takedown game, imagine what someone who knows what they're doing could do.

TOOOONS of orcs (every clan, main Draenor and WoD Draenor), a SHITTON of forsaken. not a lot of pandarens though, comparatively. belfs/helfs/nightborne tho? usually only about 3~4 of any combination, in a sea of AT LEAST 30 different people at any given time

and i can't even say "but they're probably RPing in SMC" bc apparently open world RP like that very nearly DIED in SL, and it STILL hasn't made a recovery, so there was only about 10~15 people RPing/trying to RP in SMC when i checked the other night. it seems we might've finally defeated the elf domination of Horde-side RP???

also! while you're right about pet battle weather status assets got me when no one else got me, Ailín's moon header is actually custom made! bc i just [clenches fist] LOVE making TRPs

That is super good to hear, yeah!! My only hope is that people who want to write elves aren't excluded from the greater Horde scene because that's what they want to play, which was always my bugbear when it came to Horde RP in general. You were either strictly with the 'elves' or you were with the rest of the Horde and none of them liked each other. I want to write my funky little dead girl in peace, okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to play my egomaniac Nightborne, idc if you're not an elf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm also a sucker for Sin'dorei lore in general, so I do mourn it a little. Just a little. Broadly speaking I think the move is good because Blood Elf roleplayers are more often than not completely different from Horde roleplayers and that always made a rift. I think the Alliance has more synergy in community and that benefits everyone.

since Escaflowne is always telling the story— there's no break, no reprieve, no filler, every symbol, every colour, every light source, is significant— i have to also think about allen's inexplicable owl. so. if there's literally any significance to allen's owl, i posit it's

correct me if i'm wrong, i forget if natal (the owl) shows up anytime else, you tell me.

when we first see allen, and it's there while we're at his outpost with his boys. key to this is, it's also when he and dilandau are in the same place at the same time, off of the battlefield. when the attack begins (proving hitomi right) the owl vanishes for most of/the rest of the series... UNTIL we are with allen (freed from hitomi's thrall, lmao) musing wine-drunk in his armchair about how he totally gets himself and everything that's going on... BUT, then celena shows up and flip-turns his world upside down.

allen has been thoughtlessly associating hitomi with the moon. instead of associating it with his sister, whose name means moon. IT MEANS! MOON! CELENA MEANS MOON!! he was standing right next to dilandau and maybe if he looked at or thought about him for even a second he might've put something together. he even tells eries "i'd recognise my sister celena anywhere." well dog, you didn't!

all of the characters are unreliable narrators because they're all unaware of/fighting their true nature in pursuit of what they want, but not what they need, and in pursuit of who they think they should be, and not who they are. they can't become "who they should be," or better people, without confronting and accepting who they are. otherwise, "becoming better" is starting from a place that doesn't exist. allen's owl has represented/is a covert symbol for the significance of the moon in his life, and is present for his oblivious posturing until he has his ass handed to him, then is replaced by hitomi as his stand-in for moon-related concepts and feelings, and then celena comes back and forces his brain to catch up.

that's... what i think. gaea has two moons, and if allen is one (his name might be the irish ailín, little rock— and/or referencing the "blonde" iranian group the alani, because of his latinised arabic surname) then the other is missing.
