Sometimes you feel useless. Like nowhere you do can help her. She's falling into the endless pit of grief and you couldn't do anything but watch. You watched her move around her lab with ease as you continued to work on your sketch. Shuri now held the power of the black panther, that's a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Along with the trauma of the passing of her brother and mother. It's a feeling you can't relate to. You don't want her to feel as if she's doing this on her own. She couldn't even remember today's date. You tried to ease your mind and filled in your sketch with a black colored pencil. You couldn't help the small smile that appeared on your lips as you closed the notepad and walked up to her. Your arms wrapped around her body and before she could protest you quickly spoke.
"I'll have something for you later. When it's done I'll come fetch you." You said and she sighed.
"I don't have time for distractions Y/N." She spoke, trying her best not to sound harsh.
"You could use one actually." You corrected with a grin. You've learned that when she pushes you away, you have to be assertive and firm with her. To hold your ground. You started to walk away with your notepad and called out to the AI.
"Griot!"
"Yes Ms. Y/N?" He answered back.
"Can you remind the princess I'll be coming to fetch her in a couple of hours." You said and she turned to you with a slightly annoyed stare. You shrugged your shoulders with a wide grin when she rolled her eyes at your stubbornness.
"Of course Ms. Y/N." With that the elevator door closed and you went on your way to the market. There you got some fruits and a couple of small trinkets to complete the setup of your idea. Making your way back to the palace you stopped to pick a couple flowers with a smile on your face. When you made it back to your shared room you beelined to the balcony and got to work. A couple hours had passed but your creation was complete. You changed into a simple black dress and some comfortable black flats before reaching for your jewelry. It was a necklace Shuri made for you on your 2nd anniversary. You let the piece rest against your chest and looked yourself over in the mirror. You quickly put your hair in a braided bun and shut the lights off to hide your surprise until you got back with the princess.
"Griot. It's time." You said and a voice responded through your kimoyo bracelet.
"I understand Ms. Y/N." When you reached the elevator you felt butterflies in your stomach. 'Get it together Y/N.' You can't chicken out now. Assertive and firm. Assertive and firm. You took a deep breath as you reached the lab and the doors opened.
"Princess. I was instructed to warn you of Ms. Y/N's arrival." Griot spoke to Shuri as she was still working on who knows what.
"I know. I know. But I'm so close I can't just-" She stopped mid sentence when she saw you standing there with a small smile on your lips. "What's going on?"
"I told you I'd come get you after a couple of hours. There's something I want to show you." You told her and she opened her mouth to speak but no words came. You grabbed her hand and started to drag her back to the elevator much to her dislike.
"Y/N I'm almost finished. Can you just come back in another hour?" She whined at being dragged away from her work, but she made no move to fight against you. You remained quiet as the elevator doors closed, leaving the two of you in silence. She doesn't say 6 makes this easier for you. Until you get to your shared quarters, does she speak again.
"Y/N why are we here?" She questioned before you turned on the lights. Her eyes went wide as she scanned the room to see it beautifully decorated with flowers and different fruits. All of which are her favorites. You walked up to her and took her hands in yours before leaning into her.
"Happy Anniversary my love." You smiled and she looked like she had seen a ghost.
"I completely forgot that it was today. Shit I'm so stupid. Baby I'm so sorry I didn't -" You cut her off by giving her a soft kiss, rubbing small circles on her hand.
"It's alright. I'm not upset. You've had a lot on your plate so I wanted to surprise you." She looked around the room one more time before wrapping her arms around your frame, burying her face in your neck.
"I'm sorry." She muttered and you moved to grab her cheeks.
"Hey it's alright. I promise. Now come." You said pulled her to the balcony. "I remember you saying how you wanted to have a picnic under the stars. I figured since I couldn't get you to leave the palace, here would suffice." She looked at everything you were presenting to her
She stood in the doorway staring up at the sky. You noticed a tear fall down her cheek and you rushed over to her. "Why are you crying?"
"Thanking Bast for bringing you to me." You gave the biggest smile you could muster before she captured your lips with her own.
"So much for not wanting to be distracted." You grinned as your hand played with the hairs on the back of her neck.
"I'll let this one slide." She joked as she squeezed your hips. "So what do we have here?" You then took her to the picnic scene you had laid out, prepared to shower her in all the love you had to give.

Contrasting paths:
Tumblr media
Nathan Bateman x reader
————————————————————————
The annual Tech Innovators Conference buzzed with excitement. It was a gathering of the brightest minds in technology and science, where ideas met, clashed, and sometimes merged into groundbreaking innovations.
Y/N, a renowned environmental scientist, stood at the podium, passionately presenting her latest project: a sustainable energy initiative utilizing AI to reduce carbon footprints. Her enthusiasm was palpable, her dedication to ethical science evident in every word.
As she wrapped up her presentation, the crowd began to stir. Among them was Nathan Bateman, known for his controversial yet revolutionary work in artificial intelligence. His expression was a mix of curiosity and skepticism as he raised his hand for a question.
"Your project is ambitious," he started, "but isn't it a bit naive to think AI can be fully ethical? The best technology often requires compromises."
Y/N responded sharply, "It's not about naivety; it's about responsibility. We have to consider the impact on our planet and future generations."
The exchange set the tone for the rest of the conference. The audience watched, sensing the tension between the two. Nathan's reputation as a pragmatic innovator often clashed with Y/N's idealistic approach, making them unlikely collaborators.
Later that day, Nathan approached Y/N during a networking event. The room was filled with tech giants and scientists, but he seemed focused solely on her.
"I think there's potential in your project," he said, skipping pleasantries. "With my AI, we could streamline the process, make it more efficient."
Y/N eyed him warily. "And at what cost? Your track record with AI isn't exactly... cautious."
He shrugged, unfazed. "Sometimes, to make an omelette, you have to break a few eggs. But with the right balance, we could achieve something groundbreaking."
The proposition intrigued her. Despite their differences, there was no denying that Nathan's resources and expertise could accelerate her project's impact. After a moment's hesitation, she agreed to a trial collaboration.
Working together proved to be a challenge. Nathan's lab was a stark contrast to Y/N's modest setup, filled with cutting-edge technology and a minimalist aesthetic that mirrored his precise, controlled personality. Y/N felt out of place, her passion for sustainable technology clashing with the cold efficiency of the environment.
"Your lab is impressive," she admitted, looking around. "But it's all so... sterile."
Nathan smirked. "Function over form. But feel free to add some plants if it makes you feel more at home."
They spent hours debating the ethical implications of their work, each conversation a battle of ideologies. Yet, amidst the clashes, there was a growing respect and a simmering attraction neither could ignore.
One evening, as they worked late into the night, their conversation drifted from work to personal philosophies. Nathan's usually guarded demeanor softened, revealing a side of him she hadn't seen before.
"You really believe in this, don't you?" he asked, more curious than condescending.
"I do," Y/N replied. "We have a responsibility to do better, to use our intelligence for good."
He nodded thoughtfully. "Maybe you're right. Maybe there's more to this than just efficiency."
The breakthrough in their project came unexpectedly. They successfully integrated Nathan's AI with Y/N's sustainable energy model, creating a system that optimized energy use while minimizing environmental impact. It was a triumph, blending their divergent approaches into something new and powerful.
To celebrate, Nathan suggested dinner. They found themselves at a cozy restaurant, far removed from the sterile lab environment. The conversation flowed more easily, and the tension between them shifted, becoming something warmer, more intimate.
"You're different from anyone I've worked with," he confessed, his eyes meeting hers across the table.
"Because I challenge you?" she teased, though there was a note of seriousness in her voice.
"Because you believe in something bigger than yourself. It's... refreshing."
The night ended with a walk through the city, the air crisp and filled with the sounds of nightlife. They stopped at a quiet spot, the city's lights reflecting in a nearby river. The moment felt charged, the unspoken attraction between them palpable.
Before they could overthink it, they leaned in, the kiss both unexpected and inevitable. It was intense, a culmination of their weeks of tension and unspoken feelings. When they finally pulled apart, they were breathless, the reality of what had just happened sinking in.
"We shouldn't," Y/N murmured, though she made no move to step away.
"Probably not," he agreed, his voice low. "But I don't regret it."
Their relationship grew more complicated as they navigated the blurred lines between professional and personal. They tried to maintain their focus on the project, but the attraction was impossible to ignore.
One late night at the lab, after hours of working in close quarters, the tension became too much. Y/N was reviewing data when Nathan approached, his gaze intense.
"This is driving me crazy," he admitted, his voice husky.
Before she could respond, he closed the distance, capturing her lips in a kiss that was anything but gentle. It was a release of all the pent-up desire, a breaking point they could no longer avoid.
They moved together with urgency, fumbling as they shed their barriers and clothes. The lab, with its sterile environment, became the backdrop for an intensely passionate encounter. Nathan was commanding yet surprisingly tender, his usual control giving way to raw need.
Y/N responded with equal fervor, her idealism and passion for her work translating into the intensity of the moment. They melded together, their differences fueling their connection rather than hindering it.
Afterward, they lay together, the coolness of the lab contrasting with the heat between them. Neither spoke, the silence filled with the weight of what had transpired. It was a line crossed, an undeniable shift in their relationship.
The following days were a mix of awkwardness and unspoken understanding. They continued their work, but the dynamics had changed. The once-clear boundary between professional and personal was now blurred, leaving them both off-balance.
They met one evening to discuss their project, but the conversation quickly turned personal.
"We need to talk about what happened," Y/N said, breaking the silence that had grown between them.
Nathan nodded, his expression serious. "I know. But where do we even start?"
"It complicates everything," she admitted. "Our work, our dynamic... But I can't ignore how I feel."
"Neither can I," he confessed, his voice softer than she'd ever heard it. "But we need to figure out what this means for us."
They agreed to take things one step at a time, to let their relationship evolve naturally rather than forcing it into any defined box. It was uncharted territory for both, especially for Nathan, who was used to control and predictability.
Their relationship continued to evolve, each day bringing new challenges and deeper connections. They learned to navigate their differences, finding common ground in their shared passion for innovation and their growing feelings for each other.
The lab, once a place of tension and debate, became a space where they could explore both their work and their relationship. They had more late nights, filled with heated discussions and equally heated moments of intimacy.
Their project reached completion, a perfect blend of their visions. The success was a testament to their collaboration and the balance they had found together.
On the day they presented their findings, the tension from their first meeting seemed like a distant memory. They stood side by side, a united front, their differences having become their greatest strength.
As the applause died down, Nathan turned to Y/N with a smile. "We make a good team," he said, his tone filled with more than just professional respect.
"We do," she agreed, her eyes meeting his with warmth. "Who knew?"
Their journey had been unexpected, filled with challenges and surprises. But it had led them to a place neither had anticipated—a partnership that was both professional and deeply personal.
As they left the conference together, they knew their story was just beginning. The future was uncertain, but they were ready to face it, together.

i had a dream they made a fallout Uno video game. it was a fallout 4 spinoff game where various trains passed through your one screen 'station', containing NPCs, and you could barter with them and play Uno against their NPC AI. the station was a 2d display on your screen but if you clicked on locations you would enter them as a 3d space, as in traditional fallout 4 experience. most of the NPCs were named ones from fallout 4, and most had their own separate train car (like Curie), but some were paired with an original NPC (all the non-fallout 4 recurring NPCs were named letters of the alphabet instead of proper names). Cait, for example, shared a train car with a guy whose moniker was C. C's whole deal was that he was basically a backyard Brahmin breeder, and if you descended into the somehow basement of their train car, it was packed full of grimy cages and Brahmin braying deafeningly. cait was like "why would i care about those suckers, they're just animals" when asked but she clearly found the setup a bit unnerving and avoided going down there, not even out of goodness, just all the packed eyes and wails and it smelled like shite according to her. when you talk to C he thinks cait is a little much and intimidating for a train car partner but at least she's good at keeping guard. there's a train car description at the bottom of the screen that implies they had a couple brief flings with each other in the time they shared a train car out of boredom. Piper was a stationary trader with a stall, meaning she was always in the station, but NPCs in trains would only be available whenever their train was here. they also had various interactions with each other, which were only possible if their trains were docked in the station at the same time. possible requests from them included asks for articles of clothing, which they could swap out more modularly than their main game counterparts - for example, Cait would complain of callouses, and you could go to Piper and trade for her gloves. she'd unequip her gloves, and you could give them to Cait, who would equip them. Cait could also say something like "i've got a question for Piper" and then you could go fetch Piper, and the next time you entered Cait's train car, Piper would be there, and they'd have a conversation. I never got to see Curie pull into station even though Cait also requested her but it was her gen 3 synth form and from my understanding she had a whole little lab setup in her own train car. the long posterr

Can you tell more about ZB-162 please? It is sorting signals in my brain
...we have a 2.8k fic covering it WIP and scheduled to release by the end of February, if it counts?
We've posted it once or twice before (most notably in the dating poll), but ZB-162 is, functionally, the communications bug of the Snakemouth Den colony. Although its body is of a bee, it doesn't really consider itself to be one anymore - it considers itself to be a cordyceps symbiote that simply happens to inhabit a bee shell, and its former life to have very little impact on it. It is ZB-162, it was named as such pretty much the moment the cordyceps took, and it never really looked back.
Although not one of the first cordyceps to be made (it is, specifically, the 162nd zombee to be created in Snakemouth Den), it was one of the first to be successfully linked in a communication network. It's an "older" colony member due to having been in active communication since close to the beginning of the colony, and is the bug who both engineered most of the communication system in Snakemouth
It is possessed of a handful of Very Specific Traits - it cannot bring itself to stay idle, unable to sit still when there is anything it can do. This prevents it from hibernating, as much of the Snakemouth Den colony did during the time the lab was sealed. It has been up (and working on communications) more or less nonstop since it was connected, and is unlikely to stop any time soon - it prefers upkeep and busywork to any more active jobs.
Due to being more or less constantly active, it's basically always fiddling with things - it keeps the communication network functional throughout the cordyceps colony, which mostly means maintaining relays and keeping conversation threads separate, preventing colony members from "overhearing" private conversations or accessing information or threads of thought they'd rather keep private.
It has more or less unlimited access to the Snakemouth Den computers, having linked itself up to them while the roaches were still alive - it has access to more or less all of the files and controls for the lab, though it's VERY limited on what it can do with them. The main power source for the lab got taken out during the cordyceps breakout, and it's basically limited to what can be done on emergency power - and it completely lacks enough power to actually open the main doors, after they were sealed.
It runs a good amount of its programming through Kjdrira, since they have more processing power and storage space on their crystals, but it still hears a good chunk of the conversations around Snakemouth Den. A good chunk of its colonymembers are very disappointed by the fact that it isn't more gossipy, but the hivemind setup that Snakemouth's cordyceps have set up means that most things eventually get put into circulation, anyways.
It's been active longer than most of the other cordyceps combined, and has gotten a bit... jaded, during the time. You can only do so much, when you have a hundred years awake. Things seep in through the cracks. It's got no desire to be a bug anymore - it was terrible at that, anyways - but sometimes it wonders if this is any better, or if it's just caught in a different cage. It's a bit more positive once the lab gets unsealed, but it... doesn't really leave, regardless. It's spent a whole working on the lab systems. It's not really the kind of bug who would abandon its work for that.
Functionally, it's just one of those "we uploaded a human mind into the system to make this AI" setups, but it's still fully capable of not being an AI and simply returning to the human technician body that it occasionally uses to spruce up its own systems it just has no desire to do that because as far as it's concerned it's more AI than human in the first place and the body attached is mostly something that it can use to fix its cabling so it can go back to being an AI.

As I'm closing in on the end of development on the Killer App Mod v1.2 for TRON 2.0, I'm tackling some more difficult things. I have two progress update videos to share today.
Killer App Mod v1.2 will feature upscaled textures. But upscaling was done selectively. Upscaling all the textures, en masse, would consume a lot more memory and disk space, for little benefit.
I would actually be grateful for everyone's assistance, in identifying more TRON 2.0 textures that should receive the upscaling treatment.
If you could send me screenshots on social media of what you think should be upscaled, I'd really appreciate your help.

While testing, I discovered an issue I never noticed before. Thought it might have to do with my setup: GPU, driver install, etc. But, nope. It's for everyone in TRON 2.0, retail vanilla or modded.
Alan's lenses will randomly disappear. But I seem to have fixed it, permanently.

OOo how about this one? Whoever you want it for 😊 Library AU Mechanics AU
So sorry it took me so long to get to this-- but I've literally been thinking about this since you sent it in!
I don't have many ships or fics, so I'll be answering them with Ophelia and ADA in mind.
The Library AU, I ended up thinking of this as just a regular run-of-the-mill library setting, but of course out in space. It reminded me of the local libraries near me- and one specifically is somewhat newer with an automated setup for checking in books that came in through the dropoff, and a self-checkout and self-service type laptop rentals, they also had a 3D printing/makers lab in the building that you could use-- so making the leap to a grand library out in space was so much more fun than I thought it would be.
ADA definitely would be the automated librarian system in this case, I imagine that she would handle all check-ins, checkouts, and would be the reference system you could go to with all your questions to find the books or media you're looking for. Ophelia would be the repeat visitor to the library, I imagine she would visit as often as she possibly could between all the obligations she has to the colony and her friends. I think she would always be looking for a new book on plants and alien flora, and definitely some stuff about foraging- what mushrooms were beneficial, what fruit could be eaten, and generally anything else in that sort of self-sufficient survival. I imagine this would captivate ADA after a while, maybe she would grow curious of the books Ophelia liked and would download the manuscripts to read and analyze to eventually recommend new books for her to pick out next.
Ophelia pushed open the door to the enormous library and walked through, relishing in the heated air rushing to greet her. She smiled, the warm air pleasant on her cool face, the heating on her ship was unreliable at best. She wandered down the entryway, her dirty shoes making minimal noise against the carpeted flooring. It was a grand library, she thought as she made her way to the main floor, warm and quiet... such a good companion to the cold quiet of space. In fact, the whole asteroid was pleasantly quiet and sevluded- far away from her usual haunts. "Welcome to the Scylla branch of the Halcyon Library System." A voice greeted Ophelia. The green-haired spacer jumped, one hand flying to cover her heart and the other fleeing to her concealed knife. her heart pounded in her chest. She looked around frantically, eyes darting from wall to wall to find the girl who greeted her. She didn't find anyone. She paused, and look around again. Then, she spotted it, the circulation desk. Except, there wasn't anyone behind it- just a massive computer. Ophelia nervously smiled and approached the computer, her eyes flicking from shelf to shelf back to the circulation desk. "Ah... hello." Ophelia greeted, it was still a little new to her to greet the automechanicals and AIs. "Hello. I'm ADA, the Autonomous Digital Archive. How can I be of assistance?" The computer responded, the simulated lady on the display smiling. "I'd like to see if I have an active account?" Ophelia asked, trying her best to smile back. "I brought my ID cartridge." She reached in her pockets and produced a battered cartridge. "Certainly. Just insert your ID and I'll check for an existing account." ADA replied. Ophelia looked at the computer for a while, before finally spotting the scratched-up ID slot. She deftly inserted her ID into the slot and waited. ADA processed it for a while, her display looking confused. "It seems I have a record of an Alex Hawthorne in the system." ADA stated. "However, it seems the account has not been updated or used in fifteen years. Would you like to update your account and pay the outstanding fine of three thousand and seven hundred bits?" Ophelia paled, and swallowed nervously. Just her luck, the ID she ripped from that pirate had been tied to an outrageously fined account. Damn Hawthorne.
I might just have to make a fic dedicated to this idea, just writing this little snippet was fun!
But as for the mechanics au, I kinda assumed it would be similar to the dynamic I already have with them- maybe Ophelia is a novice mechanic and ADA takes the time to teach her how to properly service the Unreliable. I imagine it would be really intimate, Ophelia would have access to the most delicate parts of the ship, and ADA likely hasn't had many people go beyond the usual routine maintenance!

Her Heart // Chapter 4 // Shuri
Tumblr media
Pairing: Shuri x POC Reader
Warning: Angst // Kidnapping // Blood // Violence // Torture //
Chapter 3 // Chapter 5
Tumblr media
"That's enough Griot!" Okoye shouted and the AI cut the footage. She watched as her princess shoulder shook and she approached her slowly. "Shuri. We will find her. And we will bring her back home."
"I left her. She didn't want me to go and I left her." Shuri mumbled and Okoye put her hand on her shoulder.
"You couldn't have known this was going to be the outcome. We were all blindsided by this." She tried to reason but Shuri couldn't hear her over her heart beating through her ears. Everything just went silent. The only sounds she could hear was the beeping from her lab computers and the sound of her own heart. Hey eyes couldn’t stay focused on anything as she thought back to you fighting to protect yourself and the queen.
"It was a strategic play. To get the leaders away from their people." Ayo said and Namor entered the lab.
"Whoever they are, they also took my wife. They're both alive. But there's no way of telling for how long. Attuma is going to take Namora back to Talokan. I'm staying here to help bring them back." His voice was laced with a rage that Shuri knew all too well.
"We don't even know who they are! All I know is I saw myself on that security camera. Me! Another me! I don't know. It looked like me."
"A shape-shifter then?" Namor said and everyone looked at him. "Give it some thought. The Talokan warrior came to you with the threat of an attack. The Wakanda warrior came to us asking for Amera's presence here in the palace. What if it's the same person?" He questioned and everything started to make sense.
"Just like Y/N said it was a setup. We have to find them."
"Princess if I may?" Griot spoke out and Shuri nodded. "Y/N's kimoyo beads and earrings are still active. She also thought ahead and gave a bracelet to Queen Amera as a precaution." Shuri couldn't help the smile on her lips as she thanked Bast for your quick thinking.
"That's my girl. Griot see if you can pinpoint their location."
// Unknown Location //
Your eyes slowly fluttered open, everything was blurred as you tried to focus your vision. The annoying sound of water dripping was enough to cause your head to pound until a voice called out to you.
"Y/N. Y/N are you okay?" The voice was soft and full of concern as your vision finally cleared. You turned your head to see Queen Amera chained to the opposite wall. You moved to get to her but the chain around your wrist stopped you.
"Where the hell are we?" You questioned and she sighed.
"Some rig in the middle of the ocean. They didn't inject me with anything but I was blindfolded on the way here." She told you and you bit your lip to think of a plan. If you could get the Queen into the water, she can swim away and notify Namor and Shuri. You'd have to buy time. "Y/N." She called out to you again, stopping your mental thoughts. The door up the stairs opened and you heard footsteps descending down the steps.
"You're awake. Good." You looked up to meet Shuri's brown eyes. Her curls sat on top of her head just as they did this morning. But no it couldn't be your Shuri. This was someone else.
"Who the hell are you?" You questioned and she chuckled.
"That's no way to talk to the princess." She said and you tensed. Two of the guards with her walked over to Amera as she scrambled back to the wall. "Make her talk. We need to know Talokan's exact location."
"Shouldn't you already know? Your highness." You spat and her eyes flickered over to where you were chained. She held up her hand and the two guards paused their approach before she slowly walked over to me. You reached for my wrists as her eyes scanned over the kimoyo beads.
"Let's see if these work, yeah? Call her." She smirked as you snatched your arm away. "I won't ask again." You couldn't help the frown that appeared on your face as she let out an irritated sigh. "Fine. Cut the baby out then kill the queen."
Your body froze as they continued their advance to Amera would was trying her best to scramble away. "No please! Not my baby." They pinned her to the ground and you couldn't stay silent.
"No! No! Okay! Okay. Alright." You sighed and the two guards moved away from her. You raised your wrist before dialing Shuri and you kept your eyes on the fake.
"Y/N! Sthandwa are you okay?" The panicked princess questioned and before you could speak the fake Shuri cut you off.
"Princess! How nice to finally speak with you."
"Who are you? What do you want?" Shuri asked as Griot secretly traced the call. Okoye stood by the princess while Namor sat across the way.
"That isn't of importance right now. All you need to know is I need something from you. A couple of things actually." The fake said as you watched her every move. You couldn't show how scared you were. Not in front of her. "Starting with the files on the heart shaped herb. You actually recreated it after Stevens burned it to the ground. Fascinating."
"How do you know about that?" Shuri froze. Not knowing how someone would have access to that information.
"I have my ways. But can you do that for me?"
"You want me to help you? Have you lost your mind?" Shuri sneered and the fake kneeled down in front of you, pulling the other dagger out of your boot.
"Not lost. Simply reevaluated. Question for you Princess, do you know how fast Y/N can heal herself?" Before you could answer she stabbed you in the side causing you to scream out as you fell on your back. "Oh come on I barely pricked you."
"Ms. Y/N!" Amera's voice called out to you as you felt your blood seep from the wound.
Shuri's body trembled as she listened to your pained groan. "Stop." It came out barely above a whimper. Unless you were right next to her, her plea wouldn't have been heard.
"Look, she's already healed herself!" The fake cheered as she grabbed your chin. "Good girl." She let go of you before standing to her full height. One that mirrored the princess.
"Princess Shuri, you have five hours to make your decision. Until then, Y/N and I are going to have a bit of fun." Shuri fell to her knees before the fake continued her speech. "As for you, K'uk'ulkan. Your wife could pop any second now. A mutant child from an underwater kingdom will go for a pretty penny. She should survive the birth. Maybe. Maybe not but who's keeping track?"
Namor stood at the mention of his wife while Shuri sat trying to think of the best way to handle this. Her brother would know. She's never felt as useless as she does now. You told her not to go. And she didn't listen. Now you're in danger with some clone of her putting you through all this pain.
"I'll be hearing from you soon."
