Garuda Aerospace’s Drone Yatra 2.0 covers halfway mark by traversing 192,309 km in 16 states

Garuda Aerospace has completed over 192,000 km in 16 Indian states as part of its Drone Yatra 2.0, aimed at promoting the benefits of drones for agriculture. The drone manufacturer has distributed over 6,000 agricultural drones across the country and authorised 357 dealerships. The drones are priced at Rs. 4.5 lakhs each and are eligible for loans and government subsidies under the AIF and SMAM schemes. The program also includes on-the-ground demo sessions to familiarise farmers with the technology. Manganese aids in photosynthesis and nitrogen metabolism, whereas zinc aids in activating auxin, carbonic anhydrase, and dehydrogenases production in plants. Copper secures the chlorophyll production in a plant, while the other micronutrients are responsible for maintaining plant health. The information and awareness of micronutrients with regards to their use are equally important. Ignorance can hamper growth and production, resulting in losses and thereby affecting the global agricultural market.
