besides being a teenager saddled with just so much trauma, she's also the god of destruction. if she doesn't win this universe WILL go to shit. also she's my specialest little girl and all of my friends love her so much. i want to make my family proud.

she's very very pink... average height, pretty thin, pink hair which is up in buns most of the time, pink poofy overall dress. most of the time depicted with angel wings.

I made an attempt at making an outfit design for some bullshit gacha waifu anime game thing. Regrettably I just cannot bring myself to add as many superfluous details that would entail. I tapped out at random ribbons.

Valerie is, of course, not pleased.

I recently commissioned the wonderful @pyxchta to do an illustration of Ashley and @amongtheembers's Valerie being flirty little shits and it turned out just so good. The photo of the print doesn't do it justice, the colors are beautiful and the linework is so delicate.

I've got it framed and it's going up on my office wall. (I took pictures of the framed picture, but there was too much glare. I'll try again later tonight when I can control the light better.)

Pyxchta was a joy to work with on this project. Extremely thoughtful with a good eye for detail, very communicative, and just seems like a lovely person in general from our email exchanges. Would recommend everyone looking for commissions to work with her when she opens commissions back up.

Now if you don't mind, I'm going to stare at this great illustration off and on for the rest of the weekend.

a little infodump for the two ghost ocs ( who are not ghouls ) currently present on my blog!

judas agnusdei

judas is a brother of sin who serves as an assistant to papa emeritus ii. he's roughly 33-34 years old during secondo's papacy.

judas is an orphan and has been raised in the church since he was around two years of age. when he was sixteen, he requested to be inducted as a brother of sin. people consider him to be a little too devoted to the church, but he hasn't caused too much of a ruckus. arguably a bootlicker when it comes to higher-ranking members of the clergy such as sister imperator.

he likes collecting old vinyls and has been a collector ever since he began receiving pocket money as a child. his frequently played vinyls are kept in his office, while his rarer / lesser played vinyls are kept in his chambers. he owns two record players as well, one in each room. he used to only own one for his room but then realized he liked listening to music while he worked and lugging his record player from one end of the church to the other got tiring real fast.

unhealthily obsessed with human sacrifice.

his hair is black with a white streak. he was born with piebaldism and a sizeable chunk of his hair has been white his entire life.

estefanio "steffy" fictus

steffy is the son of lucia fictus, a member of the church. in the past she's gotten frisky with demons - and one of those encounters is what caused steffy's birth, so ever since then, she's been convinced that he is the antichrist, sent to rule the ministry. steffy grew up being considered a controversial figure because of his mother's tangents about him and he's been socially isolated since childhood.

when steffy was twenty-one, his mother summoned a handful of ghouls, those ghouls being blitz, blight, and roulette. they became steffy's only friends.

steffy later summoned two additional ghouls, khaos and marine, when he wanted to form a band, which he named epiphany. not wanting to be ostracized from the church any more than he already is, he kept the band a secret and made it a point to remain underground and avoid marketing too much. he sang because he enjoyed it, not for profit or anything else.

when he was thirteen years old, he found an injured raven and took it in and nursed it back to health. he named the raven enore, and she's been his companion ever since. he tried to release her, but she simply flew back to his window and cawed to be let in.

steffy's half-demon nature means that he has a few demon-like characteristics - namely, his nails grow sharper and faster, which means he files them on a weekly basis. his canines are slightly elongated and sharp, and buried in his hair above his forehead are two nubby horns that aren't quite fully grown yet.

Dolcetto doesn't even notice this time, because he's drunk and the man lifting him up is his boyfriend and he loves the two-faced bastard more than he loves air.

He hates being picked up, he hates every reminder that nature denied him the masculinity he wanted. He looks like an angel, but has a demon's temper and no one takes him seriously and he loathes it.

But Francesco, who smells of anise and oranges and as if he just fell off a cart of a 18th century highlevel spice trader back homr in his Napoli, carries him to his flat and that's okay. Francesco knows Dolcetto and he wants him to feel safe. He's drunk and it's okay to be carried.

"Franci," he slurs into his hair while Francesco closes the door behind them. Machiavelli is still with the Agnusdei siblings next door. Francesco should get him. He hates the cat, but loves Dolcetto and because Dolcetto loves the cat also more than air, he'll do as asked.

Instead, he slurs: "I love you."

Francesco kisses him on the cheek. "I love you, too." He's got an accent, still, even when he speaks Standard Italian. Dolcetto learned to love it.

"We'll have to get Machiavelli."

Francesco adjusts his grip. "It's 2 am. Cosimo and Matilde are probably sleeping and he'll also not expect you to come back before dawn. Let's leave him until morning, hm?"

"But I wanna ..." Dolcetto buries his face in his neck.

"Okay. Okay, for you I'll ask. Otherwise you have to be content just cuddling with me." He puts Dolcetto down and waits until he can stand properly. "Get a glass of water and maybe start making yourself ready for bed. I'll see if Matilde will answer the door."

"Hm," Dolcetto buzzes. "No, Franci, actually ... let them sleep. I'll get him tomorrow. It's stupid and rude now."

Francesco smiles and Dolcetto can only think I love you on repeat. "Okay. If you change your mind, tell me. Let's get us into bed."

"It's stupid that you follow my every whim," Dolcetto says as he stumbled towards his bedroom. He wants Francesco in his arms.

"You're usually quite logical, so I took the risk." Francesco is sober, because he loathes how alcohol clouds his mind. He can't be alone with himself well. Dolcetto has learned to also love the monster and tame it, because Francesco loves his monster. No need to be afraid of one's fucked up-ness if both of you are screwed. He won't run from the Francesco that has blood on his canines. A monsterhunter is a monster, too, and he'll gladly be Francesco's if it helps him.

"Also," Francesco says and pulls him close, squeezes him tightly which makes the blood rush to his face and his heart beat out of his chest. "Love just does that. Makes you utterly stupid for your lover."

Yes it does. It makes Dolcetto stupid enough to let himself be carried. But also wise enough to know it doesn't matter, so he turns around, grabs Francesco's face and kisses him on the mouth. Sucks on his tongue like it's air, because to him, it is.
