Miphlink week 2024 marriage

A Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity fanfiction for @miphlinkweek event Miphlink week 2024 day 7 free day using Miphlink week 2022 prompt wedding. This is the two part of a story that I did with prompt forge.

In his room, Link is nervous about his wedding with his childhood love Mipha.

In her room, Princess Mipha have her servants help her with her wedding dress. One of her servants said to her princess, "You must be happy to be married, your majesty."

With the rings that they made from a blacksmith they visit a few months ago, and putting them on their fingers, Link and Mipha look at each other as they begins their vows.

I'm not usually a very big Yandere fan but your content has me in a bit of a chokehold at the moment, especially Sage. This guy is haunting me, I swear. He is such a loose canon?? And I love it??

So I thought I'd share a bit of a moment I had while playing TOTK and telling Impa what happened to Zelda.

(Am I still bitter about Subdued Ceremony and Zelda's Resentment from BOTW and the fact that half of the missions basically confirm that Zelda is still running off without telling Link anything and thereby making his life harder? ...Maybe.)

I said out loud, "Can't we leave her like that? She's more useful like this." only a little bit jokingly.

Which, if Darling had the same thought, I feel would give Sage a giant Green Light to basically ensure that Zelda never comes back.

Hyrule spent 100 years without her. It can rebuild without her as well. She chose to do what she did. Who are they to go against that? They should honour her 'sacrifice'.

And his darling is always right.

Okay, so the thing with Zelda/Natura still running away like...genuinely angers me. She has learned absolutely nothing. She did not learn that she, especially post Calamity, is such an important figure to Hyrule, should they choose to reinstate the Hierarchy. She has little regard for Link/'Sage's own safety because it doesn't pertain to her. She did not learn that she is so inexperienced and vulnerable in a world so cruel and hurting and I just- Wanna hug Sage so badly.

She honestly IS more useful where she currently is (During game play, ifykyk)

Should Darling mention the same thing, Sage is IN LOVE. He is falling to his knee right then and there. You are practically married now. Because everyone else tells him to just brush it off. Chase after her anyway. He's her knight. It's his job. Except for the fact that IT ISN'T. Not anymore. He's a reporter. He's a follower, but not for her. He's your dutiful serf and he has no plans on leaving anytime soon.

Especially because you are so right. Hyrule did spend a hundred years without her. It lasted and thrived. And you know what? It would continue to do so with or without her. She has made every one of her sacrifices and it's not on him to pay the price for it.

Not when he has his own Goddess to protect. To love. To follow.

I’m sure this has been pointed out a million times over in the last week since its release, but I haven’t been looking at my dash lately because my personal life has been a hellscape so I haven’t seen any of the fandom response to the Age of Calamity TGS trailer at all. 

Anyway, this is just something I noticed in the trailer that I latched on to:

Link is wearing the solder’s armor in this shot, but he’s holding the Master Sword... presumably meaning he just pulled it since he’s wearing the Champion’s Tunic after that.

Which means everybody was there when he pulled the Master Sword the first time.

And I just think that’s neat-o since he’s usually alone save for whatever companion you’re assigned in the game, if any, when you finally get the Master Sword. I always assumed in BotW he pulled the sword and then presented himself as the sword’s chosen and they went from there, but apparently not.

And that’s neat.

With the new Breath of the Wild title coming out, I know we all have our favourite Champions we love to play as. Instead of being divided by our likes, let's name some good things all the Champions offer in battle!

Link is speedy and well rounded, offering a quick take down of most enemies!

Daruk is strong and offers a quicker dispatching of any bosses!

Mipha is graceful and her special does damage to foes while healing teammates!

Revali

Urbosa's lighting helps to mitigate swarms of enemies attacking at once!

age of calamity has just established an alternate timeline with precedent for people from one timeline visiting the other.

Hyrule Warriors DE is one of my favorite games ever, and despite this I'm really really struggling to get into age of calamity. I enjoy a lot of the characters movesets but something about it feels...off. like it's missing something. I think DE had more charm, idk. I'm not very far into AoC but I'm struggling to commit to it. I just keep thinking that I could go play DE instead.

Little details about Link that I love from Zelda games I’ve played

(or at least some, if I wrote them all we’d be here for a month)

-Skyward Sword Link’s eternal bags under his eyes (someone let that poor child sleep, I feel like between his nightmares and eternal exhaustion he might be a bit of an insomniac). Or, really, anything about this cinnamon roll’s face like HIS CUTE LITTLE HEAD TILT AND SMILE when he reads Zelda’s letter or his happy face whenever he sees her or his peaceful sweet baby face when he listens to the dragons and Levias sing I JUST WANT TO HUG HIM, GUYS!!

-Ocarina of Time Link’s little sneezes when he’s somewhere cold. This poor baby has never been outside of Kokiri Forest and now he’s going to volcanoes and frozen lakes and PLEASE someone get him a jacket and a blanket and snuggles and a stuffed fairy plushy and aahhhhhhh

-Breath of the Wild Link’s need and poses for selfies. THIS BOY LOL. WHAT A GOOFBALL.

-Twilight Princess Link’s face just his whole face just I WANT TO PINCH HIS CHEEKS OK HE HAS THE CUTEST PUFFIEST PINCHABLE CHEEKS AND WHEN HE SMILES WHILE HOLDING PUPPIES I WANT TO MARRY HIM WHY IS HE NOT REAL AAAHHHHHHHHH

-The fact that Age of Calmity Link is so committed to the whole “don’t speak in front of others so you don’t say something wrong” that he literally just goes HYAH to indicate some kind of command to someone when you switch characters LOL. Link, honey, using your words might be a bit more helpful in a BATTLEFIELD SETTING OK?? NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HYAH MEANS
