dissapointing afi merch :/

so i finally cleaned out my mini-backpack from the 8/10/19 show and remembered i bought afi merch (the grey tour tee and the blue tank top) and i got so excited and i went to try them on and.... neither of them fit?

I got the tank in an XL and the shirt in an XL and I look like a burrito in both of them. And I asked the merch guy if they’re unisex or womens and he said unisex but l’m having a really hard time beliving that? That or why the fuck would they choose such a terrible material? It’s like extremely soft stretchy cotton that 1) will shrink 5 sizes smaller the first time I wash it and 2) is a good size, size and a half smaller than the size on the tag to begin with imo.... and is just so stretchy it clings to literally everything. I mean, no, I’m not no skinny minny girl to begin with but I’m no blimp either and I have a hard time seeing men fitting into this merch when i’m busting tf out of a ‘unisex xl’.

I’m just sad bc the quality of this merch that I spent about 100USD~ on for 2 things is really fucking bad and turns out I can’t wear either of them... and also if I said fuck it and did it’s that type of material that will pill all over the first time you wash it so i’m also super scared to wear them even under a cardigan or something

fuck man if i’d had known i would have skipped the t/tank and opted for the ugly hoodie and maybe the vinyl
