Active Smart Textile: Are more smarter and they are equipped with both actuators and sensors. i.e. Sense and change colour, shape, structure, etc.

The use of conductive threads goes back to the Elizabethan era (1558 to 1603) when gold threads were woven into garments for a gleaming accent. The concept of metallic threads has existed for centuries for decorating garments.
