Alleviating Rubellyn Feywild Concerns
A follow up of the Aelvaren
Priallia’s Speech and Its Impact
Priallia’s speech is given in a grand hall within Rubellyn, one the Aelvaren used to gather the residents of the Rubellyn Feywild. Encompassed by the natural beauty and flora of the Feywild. The hall is adorned with intricate carvings and glowing crystals mirroring the harmonious blend of nature and the arcane.
Priallia’s words: “Dear Eladrin and Feywild kin, We, the Aelvaren, have accepted the sacred duty to protect Rubellyn, to honor the trust you have placed in us by letting us call this place our home. In utmost homage, of your core values and traditions, I wish to make it clear that the Aximand Axia project does not require your conscription as it does for the Aelvaren. However, should any of you feel a calling to join us in this endeavor, the project will gladly and openly accept your participation. For those who do not wish to enlist, you are free from ever doing so. This duty is one we have chosen to bear, a burden we Aelvaren, willingly shoulder. It is the least we can do in return for the sanctuary you have provided us. Together, let us ensure the safety and harmony of Rubellyn. You have the Aelvaren’s humblest and eternal gratitude.”
With the basis, intent and requirements of the Aximand Axia project cleared and considerate approach by Priallia, the Eladrin and Feywild beings resonate with the Aximand Axia project continuing without further concerns. Most of their worries are replaced with gratitude, relief and most of all curiosity as where this will take them in the future. Relieved that the involvement in the Aximand Axia project is not mandatory, allowing them to preserve their congruency, traditions and core values. They greatly appreciate Priallia’s understanding of their foremost principles and heritage.
The Eladrin elders, deeply rooted in their ways, express gratitude for Priallia and her approach. They emphasize the importance of preserving their cultural heritage and the natural balance of Rubellyn. Though, while some are still very cautious on the project itself, most of the Feywild become optimistic that the collaboration and alliance will be strengthened with the Aelvaren.
Younger warriors of the Eladrin, eager to prove themselves are more open to the idea of volunteering. They see the project as an opportunity to enhance their abilities and best protect their home. Even those who choose not to enlist appreciate the freedom to make their own decision, further reinforcing their admiration for the Aelvaren.
Other Feywild beings, including Dryads, Satyrs, and Pixies are supportive of the Aximand Axia Project. They are inquisitive about the potential benefits and keen to see how it will enhance the protection of Rubellyn. The speech itself fosters mutual consideration, further deepening the bonds between different Feywild beings, creating a united front against the coming potential threats.
Conversations & Banter Amongst the Crowd
Eladrin Elder: “Zenith Counselor Priallia’s words, with clarity and grace, show wisdom and esteem. She has reassured us that our traditions are honored”
Young Eladrin Warrior: “Huh. I’ve always wanted to prove myself as a fighter and guardian. Perhaps this is my chance to make a difference and protect our home.”
Pixie: “Wow’e’Zow! Imagine all the new stories we’ll share! New elevated friendly warriors and magical adventures – this is going to be exciting!”
Conscription and Enlistment
Illaikus begins the conscription and enlistment process for selected Aelvaren soldiers and the willing Eladrin volunteers. His approach is more rigorous yet respectful, ensuring the volunteers are fully aware of the trials and potential risks involved that await them. Aelvaren and Eladrin recruits train together, encouraging a sense of coalition and solidarity. Sharing techniques and learning from each other, boosting their collective strength. The Aelvaren’s acceptance of the responsibility to protect Rubellyn has strengthened the bond of the two groups. The Eladrin and other Feywild beings support the Aelvaren’s efforts creating a united front.

Jhulqira's Role and Axi Creation
Axi Creation, Genetic Alteration and Training
The creation process begins in large, plantlike gestational pods resembling enormous flowers filled with alchemical elixirs and Feywild flora extracts. These pods nurture Aximand Axia embryos, infusing them with powerful arcane energy and genetic enhancements. Some Aximand Axia are selected as recruits at birth, usually from two Aelvaren Warrior parents, preferably veterans.
Mental Conditioning
Recruits undergo excruciating mental conditioning to purge fears, attachments and weaknesses. Jhulqira, the Drow bio-alchemist employs tortuous methods using alchemical potions, torturous instruments and psychological manipulation, turning them into living weapons capable of withstanding the horrors of war.
The Process
“Fascinating, how one’s spirit shivers and falters when the mind is suddenly compromised.” – Jhulqira Frier’athen
Deep within the labyrinthine confines of Jhulqira’s laboratory lies the Chamber of Scrutiny. This dark, foreboding room is where the most harrowing of his experiments take place. The walls are lined with arcane symbols and enchanted crystals that amplify the mental energies within.
At The center of the chamber stands an intricate apparatus designed to interface directly with the mind of the recruit. The apparatus consists of a series of enchanted needles and conduits that connect to the recruit’s head, allowing Jhulqira to delve into their deepest thoughts and memories.
Jhulqira begins by activating the apparatus, sending tendrils of arcane energy and electricity into the recruit’s mind. These tendrils crawl through the synapses, seeking any traces of vulnerability, anxiety, or even corruption. The recruit screams and convulses as their mind is exposed throughout the agonizingly painful procedure.
The mental agony can lead some recruits to insanity, leaving them as shriveled shells, frothing and babbling at the lips. These unfortunate souls are then cast into the wild planes of the Feywild, where they are likely to be processed, recycled and absorbed by the realm itself. To Jhulqira, he see this as a way to give back the feywild, though he only says this to alleviate the concerns of those of the Feywild.
Those with the mental fortitude to grit their teeth, endure and survive this harrowing process are not yet free. They find themselves tested again facing more trials that would challenge even the most hardened veteran soldiers. These trials are designed to push their mental, physical, and magical abilities to the absolute limit, ensuring that only the strongest and most resilient recruits become Axi warriors.

"Auruderma" The Sacred Armor of the Axi: A Bastion of Raw Strength
I may posted this already, though this time I've finally came up with a name for the golden armor embedded with magic channeling emerald gems Axi are known to wear. It also includes the Feymail and its functions again, I go into detail on its relation to the Auruderma armor this time.
Hope you enjoy the read!
The armor is forged from glinting pure, strengthened Aurum, known for its unmatched durability and ability to conduct magical energies. The Aurum is enchanted during the forging process, heavily infusing it with arcane power.
Each piece of armor is intricately carved with runes and wards. These runes amplify the wearer’s arcane powers, enhancing their ability to channel the Alkanine cells. The wards provide protection against malignant forces and demonic entities, making the wearer a bulwark on the battlefield.
The armor is crafted by the finest blacksmiths and enchanters of the Rubellyn Feywild, who possess ancient knowledge of both physical and magical artisanship.
Alkanine Amplification
The Armor enhances the wearer’s arcane abilities, allowing them to channel their Alkanine essence more effectively. This amplification makes their elemental attacks more potent and defenses more robust.
The wards and runes also provide defense against the harsh environments of other planes, specifically the hells and realms consumed by absolute darkness. This protection ensures that the Axi can continue fighting under most conditions.
Axi Inscribed Armor “Auruderma” & Fyro-Mail (Fey-mail)
Heavily enchanted and imbued armor, made from glinting pure strengthened gold, Aurum, carved and forged with runes and wards. Amplifying the Axi’s Arcane powers and helps channel their Alkanine cells. Making the wearer an absolute bulwark against malignant forces and demonic entities. The wards and runes also aid in the defense against certain hellish environments of other planes so that they can continue fighting wherever they may end up. However, not anyone can simply wear this armor without prior enhancements like an Axi, nor does this armor turn the tables of war if the one wearing the armor isn’t as efficient, precise and immensely skilled in combat themselves. But it does further the capabilities and versatility of an Axi warrior, amplifying their Alkanine gene and synchronizes to their “Fyro-mail”, mailing woven together that acts as external dermal carapace for an Axi. Fyro-mail or by denizens of the Feywild, “Fey-mail”, creates a seamless synchronized connection to the Axi armor. Dense Fyro-Mail or Fey-mail is a type of enchanted chainmail that Axi warriors wear beneath their Auruderma armor. This chainmail is woven with magical threads from the Feywild, allowing it to interface with the wearer’s body. Acting as an extra layer of skin, providing additional protection and creating a more intimate relationship between the warrior and their armor. Fey-mail also works in tandem with Axi warrior's Alkanine genes.
The Axi Fey-mail and Golden Inscribed Armor are remarkable feats of Rubellyn craftsmanship, Symbolizing the perfect union of organic material and arcane technology. These armaments are as much a part of the Axi warriors as their very flesh and blood, enhancing their combat abilities while forging an intimate, almost symbiotic relationship between the warrior and their armor.
The Fey-mail's effectiveness lies in its unique integration with the Axi warrior’s central nervous system. Upon donning the armor, ethereal tendrils link into the warrior’s neural pathways, establishing a direct and intimate connection. However, this process is far from gentle. An excruciating and torturous shockwave is sent throughout the body, akin to being stabbed and electrocuted simultaneously.
This integration allows the armor to respond instantaneously to the warrior’s thoughts and reflexes, becoming an extension of their own body. The initial shockwave, like pins and needles, stabs and electrocutes the nerves, establishing a deep, almost painful connection that heightens the warrior’s awareness and reflexes. The Fey-mail constantly monitors the wearer’s physical condition and adjusts its properties to provide support where needed, reinforcing areas of high stress or injury.
Auruderma – Rubellyn Aurumplating
“The iconic golden inscribed armor worn by fully realized and rebirthed Axi warriors.”
The Inscribed Auruderma of the Axi warriors is more than just protective gear; it is alive, moving with efficiency and adapting to the warrior’s needs. Forged from enchanted fey-bark – a toughened tree bark from the Feywild trees – the Golden Armor is both resilient and flexible, providing superior protection and agility. The Auruderma acts as reinforced dermal plating, enhancing the Fey-mail's protective capabilities. The fey-bark is enchanted to be incredibly tough yet flexible, allowing the armor to absorb and deflect various forms of damage.
The armor is enchanted with runes that synchronize with the Fey-mail's neural tendrils embedded in the wearer, ensuring that every movement is perfectly coordinated. This magical synchronization allows the armor to adapt its form and function in response to the warrior’s needs.
“Axi do not simply wear or wield their armaments, they are, by extension, their armament.” – Zenith General Arkadius Aximand, First Among Axi
The union of the Fey-mail and Golden Armor, “Auruderma”, grants the Axi warrior’s remarkable adaptive capabilities. The armor can modify its structure and properties to suit different combat scenarios, providing optimal protection and efficiency. The armor can change its configuration in real-time, shifting plates and adjusting its shape to offer maximum protection and mobility. Similar in nature to that of the shifting planes of Rubellyn. For example, it can extend additional plating to shield vulnerable areas or retract sections to allow for greater freedom of movement. The Fey-mail can also adapt to the environment, altering its surface to blend in with surroundings or resist specific environmental hazards such as extreme heat, cold, or corrosive substance.
The relationship between Fey-mail and the Axi warriors extends to their weaponry as well. The same neural and magical synchronization that controls the armor enhances the warriors’ use of their weapons. Axi weapons are designed with similar neural interfaces, allowing them to be wielded with extraordinary precision and force. This integration means that the weapons feel like extensions of the warrior's limbs, responding to their thoughts and intentions.
The Fey-mail can channel magical energies into the weapons, amplifying their power. This allows Axi warriors to unleash devastating attacks that combine physical prowess with arcane might. The Axi Fyromail or Feymail, and Inscribed Auruderma represent the pinnacle of Axi craftsmanship and fey magic. Their integration with the warrior’s central nervous system and synchronization with enchanted fey-bark create a harmonious blend of technology and nature. This intimate connection allows the Axi to move, fight and react as one, embodying the perfect blend of elven grace and formidable martial prowess. The initial shockwave upon donning the armor serves as a stark reminder of the symbiotic relationship between the warrior and their equipment, forging a bond that is both powerful and painful.

The Integration of Pixies, Sprites & Dryads into the Axi Military
Some Fey Allies and Their Roles
Pixies
Pixies are adept at gathering information and serving as scouts, using their invisibility and flight to observe enemy movements undetected. They can create illusions to deceive enemies, cast charms to influence outcomes and provide vital intel to the Axi Warriors.
Pixies maintain their whimsical and playful nature even in serious situations. Their innate sense of curiosity and mischief often brings and lightheartedness to the otherwise grim realities of war. Despite their small size they are fiercely loyal and protective of their chosen Axi warrior.
Chosen high-ranking Axi and Scout class Axi Warriors form close bonds with their accompanying pixies. This relationship is one of mutual respect and companionship, with the pixies offering their magical support and the warriors providing protection in return. During the pairings’ venture, pixies are known for their sharp wit and clever banter. A pixie may say, “You know, for someone so big and scary, you do a lot of tiptoeing.” To which the Axi warrior might reply, “And for someone so small, you do a lot of bossing around.”
Example Dialogue
Pixie: “I’ve spotted an enemy scout ahead. Should we go say hello?”
Axi Warrior: “You mean should I go say hello while you watch from a safe distance?”
Pixie: “Exactly! A stupendous idea.”
Pixies and Aximand Axia Warriors – Close Relationship & Safety
Pixies feel safe around Axi warriors due to the deep bond of trust that forms between them. The warriors’ protective nature ensures the pixies can perform their duties without fear. Both parties recognize each other’s strengths and abilities. The pixies’ intelligence and mafic complement the warriors’ brute strength and combat skills, creating a harmonious partnership. Their shared mission of defending Rubellyn and ensuring the safety of the realm strengthens their bond. Their unity in purpose fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual reliance.
Pixies often use humor to lighten the mood, making quips about the warriors’ seriousness or their own diminutive size. The warriors, in turn, appreciate the levity and engage in playful banter.
Example Dialogue
Pixie: “You know, in theory, I think my wings are stronger than your arms.”
Axi: “Is that so? Let’s see your wings lift this sword then.”
Pixie: “Hm, Fair point, but I can make it disappear with a flick. Want to see?”
Axi: “Ahh... I think I’ll pass. Your tricks can be... unpredictable.”
Dryads
Dryads, being tree spirits, are excellent at guarding and protecting natural environments. They use their control over plants to create barriers, ensnare enemies and provide cover for their allies. They also possess healing abilities, using their connection to nature to mend wounds and restore vitality. Aelvaren soldiers often view Dryads as guardians and mentors. The dryads’ nurturing complements the warriors’ more aggressive roles, creating a balanced dynamic.
Example Dialogue
Dryad: “The trees whisper of imminent danger approaching.”
Axi: “Then we will stand ready. You have our thanks for always watching over us.”
Dryad: “And We Thank you for continuing your relentless defense of our sacred home.”
Sprites
Sprites excel in detection and defense, using their keen senses to spot hidden threats and their poison-tipped arrows to incapacitate enemies. They can also sense the emotions of other, making them excellent for detecting lies and gauging trustworthiness. Sprites are serious and vigilant, often acting as the watchful eyes of the battlefield. Despite their seriousness, they are known to have a dry sense of humor. Sprites and Axi warriors share a professional respect. The warriors appreciate the sprites’ dedication and precision, while the sprites admire the warriors’ strength and resolve.
Example Dialogue
Sprite: “I detect a lie from that prisoner. He knows more than he’s saying.”
Axi: “Good Work, Now, let us bleed the truth out of them.”
Sprite: “About time, I was beginning to grow bored.”

Jhulqira's Notes & Thoughts on the Axi Gene Flaw
Hereditary Stain (A follow up for last post, delving deeper in the Genetic Mutation that plagues Axi warriors)
“It perpetually reactivates, as if an unseen mage hand incessantly flips the switch each time I turn my back. Believe me, it is a most vexatious nuisance, attempting to eradicate the existence of this insidious strand. To alleviate your concerns alongside this update, we are diligently pursuing a resolution.” – Jhulqira Frier’athen (Notes in a concealed letter sent to Priallia)
Notes by Jhulqira: “The creation and selective breeding of Fey Axi specimens is indeed a monumental feat, a testament to our mastery over arcane and surgical bio-alchemical arts. However there exists a complication that continues to run deep within the genetic fabric of our creations, a dormant yet potentially calamitous trait if left unchecked for too long. This phenomenon, which I have come to refer to as the ‘Hereditary Stain’, is a trait that insidiously triggers after prolonged ages of peace and inactivity, manifesting after a certain number of years. A creature forged specifically for the crucible of war, should exist solely as an expendable soldier, destined to perish in the glorious blaze of battlefield attrition, fulfilling the purpose for which it was designed. However, what becomes of these beings when there is no more conflict to engage in, no adversary left to annihilate that doesn’t annihilate them first? Prolonged periods of peace, of stillness, leave these specimens...agitated, their very essence yearning for the chaos they were bred to thrive in.
We have created so many, and those Axi who have taken up the mantle of patrol find themselves faced with naught but trifling skirmishes, insufficient to satiate the deep-seated drive for war embedded within their cores. These minor confrontations serve merely as a tease, a pale shadow of the battles they were designed to fight.
In response to this quandary, my kin, colleagues and I have devised a temporary solution: repurposing the floral pods from which some of our Axi emerged at birth, placing the restless warriors back into stasis until their destined duty calls upon them once more. Alas, such devices come with their own set of complications. These pods can accommodate only a limited number and can maintain stasis for but a finite duration. Moreover, this state of dormancy seems to accelerate the troublesome gene’s development, rather than contain it.
To address the core of the issue, Axi warriors who endure prolonged periods of inactivity, particularly those who have reached venerable ages of one to two centuries or more, will inevitably suffer from this degenerative mutation. This condition drives them to become war and conflict-hungry, possibly wreaking havoc and devastation upon that which they were once forged to protect. With this affliction comes new synaptic thought patterns that diverge drastically from the stable and rational mindset characteristic of their saner counterparts.
One might speculate that this could be an insidious form of interference from Lady Lolth herself, a cruel jest to see her will of obliteration and bloodshed carried out through her tainted influence. But I meander, this remains personal conjecture, unsubstantiated empirical evidence.
As enthralling as this recurrent complication may be from a purely academic standpoint, it is imperative that it be eradicated. Nearly every Axi harbors this irritable strand of mutation, and should it remain unaddressed, it could very well spell inevitable doom upon this silly realm. Such an outcome is something those of Rubellyn would not find as.... amusing.”

Axi Warrior Drawbacks and Brief Physiology
Drawbacks, Weaknesses & Adaptations
Psychological Instability
Prolonged periods outside of battle can lead to mental instability. For this to occur, an Axi would have to spend half century or so out of combat or conflict of any kind for this to actually become some form of issue for them. However, every Axi differs from one another and there have been cases where less than decades outside of combat, adventuring or simply sitting still has caused them to become unstable or feral. This is more of a rare condition and not really something they worry too much about. That being said, Jhulqira and his collogues were still trying to find ways of eliminating this defect within the Aximand Axia genes.
To keep an Axi focused and from possibly falling ill to this genetic mutation. Priallia Axia has added to their day-to-day training schedules to practice regular meditative training and Feywild therapies to help maintain mental instability
Genetic Mutations Genetic enhancements has led to unpredictable mutations, causing physical ailments or uncontrollable bursts of arcane energy, such as "Wild Magic”.
Arcane Equipment Vulnerabilities
Sometimes, an Axi may become over reliant on their enchanted weapons, making them vulnerable to anti-magic fields, flora or spells that disrupt their gear. To address this particular exploit, Illaikus Aximand has introduced training, strategies and back up equipment to fix this flaw. Having the soldiers wield secondary, non-magical weaponry and training in anti-magic techniques to mitigate these vulnerabilities to some extent. Having the soldiers train in various areas of combat, cross-training programs and adaptive combat drills to create more well-rounded warriors, for both Axi, Eladrin and Aelvaren soldiers.
Enhancements to Weaponry
Enchanted Weapons
The elemental energy from Alkanine gene is also channeled into their iconic weapons. Golden heavy weapons such as axes, hammers and great sword are imbued with this energy, allowing them to deliver immense magic damage. The green gems encrusted in these weapons further amplify their power, nullifying arcane connections and increasing damage upon magic users.
Special Attacks
The Alkanine gene enables special attacks like Wrathful Smite, where the warrior channels concentrated elemental energy into a single, devastating strike. This attack deals significant element and psychic damage, often breaking through the defenses of even the most formidable foes.
Biological and Anatomical Impacts
Enhanced physique
The continuous circulation of elemental energy and ki through the blood of the Aximand Axia results in significant enhancements to their physical abilities
Strength and Endurance: They possess extraordinary strength and endurance, capable of enduring extreme conditions and engaging in prolonged battles without tiring. Minor injuries are known to heal rapidly due to their regenerative properties of their blood.
Challenges and Weaknesses
While the Alkanine gene grants immense power, it also comes with challenges and complications.
Overuse
Prolonged or excessive use of their elemental powers can cause physical strain, leading to temporary weaknesses or even collapse.
Genetic Instability: The continuous circulation of such potent energy physical strain, leading to temporary weakness or even collapse.
Arcane Vulnerabilities, despite their immense power, they remain vulnerable to anti-magic fields or spells that can disrupt their elemental energy.

Axi Genetics, Training & Equipment
Axi Military lore dump
The Axi have various classes specializing in different aspects for war, magic, sabotage and healing. Women often gravitate towards magic classes, providing essential support to their male counterparts. Although, this is not always the case, as some Axia (Female Axi) prefer more warrior-based and tank roles rather than support. Their ability to work seamlessly in combat, performing coordinated maneuvers and combos, makes them a formidable force on the battlefield.
The Alkanine Gene
Origins and Infusion
The Alkanine gene is a unique genetic modification introduced into Aximand Axia during their gestation period within the flora pods. This gene was designed through a combination of alchemical manipulation, Feywild flora extracts, and ancient arcane rituals. Jhulqira, alchemist, played a pivotal role in its development, seeking to create a superior warrior infused with elemental power.
Integration of The Alkanine Gene
The Alkanine gene is a core component of what makes the Aximand Axia warriors so formidable. Its infusion into their very being ensures that they are not only warriors of unmatched physical prowess but also living conduits of elemental destruction. This genetic enhancement, along with their rigorous training and enchanted weaponry, solidifies their role as the ultimate defenders of Rubellyn, ready to face any challenge with their unyielding spirit and devastating power.
Properties and Function
Elemental Affinity
The Alkanine gene grants the Aximand Axia an affinity for both golden lightning and golden-green fire. These elements manifest in their physical attacks, creating a duality of searing heat and electrifying force.
Energy Circulation
The gene is responsible for the continuous circulation of elemental energy and ki throughout the warrior’s body. This energy courses through their unique boiling blood, enhancing their physical capabilities and imbuing their attacks with additional elemental damage.
Combat Enhancements
This aspect of the Alkanine gene enhances their speed agility, allowing them to move with lightning-fast precision. Their attacks can paralyze or stun opponents, delivering swift and devastating blows.
Visual Manifestation
The elemental energy manifests as a glowing aura around the warrior. During Combat, this becomes more pronounced, glowing with an intense golden green hue interspersed with streaks of emerald. This visual effect not only intimidates enemies but also boosts the morale of allies. The aura or streaks of electricity can be seen more-so when their “Axi Stance” is activated, this stance charges their Alkanine essence making their next attack a staggering smite that also causes their enemies to become prone and take knock-back damage. While holding this stance, it also acts as a parry if they are hit before releasing the Axi Stance, as a reaction they will retaliate attacking the assaulting target early.
Blood and Ki
The warrior’s boiling blood, infused with the Alkanine gene, this energy is visible in moments of high exertion or when they channel their elemental powers. The blood of an Axi runs hot, causing them to physically turn red, the circulation also happens during moments of rest which may cause occasional agitation or overheating.
The Sacred Armor of the Axi: A Bastion of Raw Strength Magic
Forging Process
The armor is forged from glinting, strengthened gold, known for its unmatched durability and ability to conduct magical energies. The gold is enchanted during the forging process, heavily infusing it with arcane power.
Each piece of armor is intricately carved with runes and wards. These runes amplify the wearer’s arcane powers, enhancing their ability to channel the Alkanine cells. The wards prvide protection against malignant forces and demonic entities, making the wearer a bulwark on the battlefield.
Axi Inscribed Armor & Fyro-Mail (Fey-mail)
Heavily enchanted and imbued armor, made from glinting pure strengthened gold, carved and forged with runes and wards. Dense Fyro-Mail or Fey-mail is a type of enchanted chainmail that Axi warriors wear beneath their armor. This chainmail is woven with magical threads from the Feywild, allowing it to interface with the wearer’s body. Acting as an extra layer of skin, providing additional protection and creating a more intimate relationship between the warrior and their armor. Fyro-mail also works in tandem with Axi warrior Alkanine gene.
The connection between Fyro-mail or Fey-mail and the armor is deeply ingrained in Axi military culture.
Cultural and Sacred Significance
The Creation of each piece of armor is paired with sacred rituals and blessings. These ceremonies invoke the power of the Feywild and the protection of the Archfey, imbuing the armor with additional strength and magic. Wearing the golden plated armor is a symbol of tremendous honor and responsibility. It signifies the warrior’s dedication to protecting Rubellyn and their mastery of both physical and arcane combat.
Weaponry and Training
Enchanted Weapons
Aximand Axia soldiers wield iconic golden heavy weapons, axes, hammers and greatswords. These weapons are forged from enchanted metals of gold, weave nulling green crested gems and maroon hilts, these weapons are designed to deliver immense magic damage, rending and ripping arcane connections. The green gems encrusted in these weapons not only enhance their power but also disrupt the arcane weave, making them formidable against spellcasters.
Rigorous training
Recruits undergo brutal trials in the ever-changing landscapes of the Feywild, navigating shifting realities, battling monstrous creatures and enduring relentless psychological torment. They master the use of their enchanted suffused weapons and develop the ability to communicate instinctually on the battlefield, ensuring coordinated and effective combat strategies.

The Aelvaren & The Aximand Axia/ Also an update
So sorry for the absence, I've been getting some writing done and wanted to finish enough before posting again. I wanted to flesh out some lineage lore for "Solus Aximand", one of my favorite Tav's from one of my many BG3 playthroughs. It's quite long and I'm not sure if it'll all fit here. If not, then the lore will be released in pieces. Its also original D&D Forgotten Realms stuff I'll expand upon once the foundation is set. Hopefully enough to pique interest for collaboration, for now its just something for fun and maintain the flow of creativity.
With all that said, we're gonna jump right in now... (p.s ~ "You have my humblest thanks.)
Forgotten Realms ~ Rubellyn – Aelvaren High Elves & The Aximand Axia
The Aelvaren are High-Elves who are of a different origin to other High Elves or the Eladrin, whom they have become close and intermingled with after their transition into the Feywild. To other Elves, Aelvaren or those with half Aelvaren blood, exude a familiar yet unfamiliar aura about them, other Elves feeling kinship, feel yet an otherworldly aura when conversing with an Aelvaren.
Aelvaren are rumored to have originated in the far reaches of the Astral Sea, the Aelvaren were formerly a proud, noble race of high elves. This ethereal expanse was their home, but they were driven by a desperate need to escape an eternal damnation that threatened their existence.
In whispered legends, more-so among the Lymenos town populace, is that the Aelvaren were once a part of an ancient and powerful elven civilization that spanned multiple planes. However, due to a cataclysmic event forced them to flee, leading to their journey through the Astral Sea in search of refuge. Some say they angered a powerful deity, while others believe they were cursed by an ancient entity they themselves unconsciously created.
Traversing the Tapestry of Stars
The Aelvaren traveled aboard their spelljammers, vessels of arcane propulsion capable of traversing the Astral Seas’ treacherous expanse. These ships were not just means of transport but sanctuaries crafted from rare astral materials and imbued with powerful enchantments. They provide protection, sustenance and a sense of unity for the Aelvaren.
Arrival In the Feywild
Their journey eventually brought them to the enigmatic and mystical plane of the Feywild. Initially confused and scattered, they gradually adapted by forming alliances with Fey beings and learning to navigate this new world.
Rubellyn Gate
The small Archfey council of the Feywild granted the Aelvaren a passage dimension as a haven, on the condition that they defend it. This passage, Rubellyn Gate, became both a fortress and home kingdom. The Aelvaren architecture reflected their high elven heritage combined with Feywild’s organic, magical elements, living trees, luminescent crystals and floating gardens.
The Eladrin, the high elves of the Feywild, are known for their grace, beauty and connection to nature. When the Aelvaren high elves venture from the Astral Sea to the Feywild of Rubellyn, the Eladrin give them a cautious and curious welcome. The Eladrin are intrigued by the Aelaren, high elves from a distant realm, and are curious to learn about their journey and experiences in the Astral Sea. While welcoming, the Eladrin maintain a heedful approach, ensuring the newcomers have honorable intentions and respect for the Feywild’s natural beauty and balance.
Two Aelvaren along with other elder and veteran Aelvaren served as the ambassadors and leaders of the remaining Aelvaren who survived their ventures from the Astral Sea. Two notable individuals being, Illaikus Aximand and Priallia Axia. The Two would begin their service in protecting the Feywild’s veil upon the material plane as well as dealing with malignant forces across the realms of Abeir-Toril.
The Aelvaren share their knowledge of navigating the Astral Sea, recounting tales of their voyages and the wonders they’ve encountered. They demonstrate their mastery of arcane magic, teaching the Eladrin new spells and techniques developed in the Astral Sea. The Eladrin would introduce the Aelvaren to their unique connection to the seasons and how their emotions influence their appearance and abilities. Sharing their deep knowledge of the Feywild’s flora and fauna, teaching the Aelvaren about the magical plants and creatures that inhabit their realm.
Social Dynamics and Banter
Eladrin: “Welcome to Rubellyn, travelers from the stars. May the light of Rubeylln guide your path.”
Aelvaren: “We are honored to be welcomed in a realm with such eternal beauty, you have our humblest thanks.”
Romantic Dynamics
An Aelvaren and Eladrin couple would blend the mysticism of the Astral Sea with the enchantment of the Feywild. Their union symbolizes the harmony between different realms. They would share stories of their respective worlds, exploring the mysteries of both the stars and the seasons together. These intimate exchanges would also reveal subtle history of what caused the Aelvaren to retreat into the stars, leaving their world behind.
Eladrin Partner: “Come, let us dance under the moonlight. Show me the constellations you’ve traveled.”
Aelvaren Partner: “And I shall teach you the songs of the stars, as you teach me the dance of seasons.”
The Archfey council tasks the Aelvaren with protecting the Rubellyn Gate, a crucial responsibility that ensures the safety and balance of the Feywild. The Aelvaren accept this duty with honor, dedicating themselves to the protecting of the Rubellyn gate and the realm. The Aelvaren and Eladrin train together, combining their strengths and learning from each other’s combat techniques and magical abilities. Through collaboration and shared experiences, they build trust and mutual respect, solidifying their alliance.
The Eladrin respect the Aelvaren for their dedication and skill. They form bonds of camaraderie, sharing in the responsibility of protecting their realm.
Eladrin Elder: “Your dedication to our home is commendable. Together, we shall ensure that Rubellyn remains a haven of beauty and balance.”
Illaikus: “It is our honor to stand with you. The stars and seasons shall guide us in our duty.”
The Eladrin are proud to have the Aelvaren as the guardians of the Rubellyn Gate. They support their efforts and provide assistance when needed.
Axenjammers
Their Spelljammers were repurposed into Axenjammers, newly enhanced vessels designed for defense, swift response, deployment and offensive purposes. These ships were engineered to harness the Feywild’s unique magic, making them faster, more resilient and capable of navigating both the Astral Sea and the Feywild. Axenjammers became vital in their defense strategies, patrolling the thin veil between the material plane and the Feywild, ensuring that the Rubellyn Gate remained secure.
