Media is ever-changing. As this MotoX ad shows us, print is no longer just print.  The question is no longer simply about the print ad, now it is about the interaction. While this is true, an even more interesting thing I have found about the media landscape today is the fact that it is continuously additive, yet rarely subtractive.  In the most basic terms, I think about it in this way: Before anything else, there was spoken word. Information was only transmitted through this very restrictive channel. From that we have moved on to written word and print work. Progressing even further, radio entered the scene. TV became commercially available in the 20's. Computers then made there way into prominence and now we have a seemingly unending supply of new and upcoming mobile technology. With all of this innovation, have we lost the written word? While it may be typed on keys rather than written with an ink-cased feather, it is not dead. Is radio still a faction of the media landscape? Absolutely. Today we are in a season of integration, and I do not foresee that changing anytime soon. Messages must be consistent and complimentary across countless channels. The conversation should not be only about digital or mobile, but about the integration of these avenues.
