Cute lil blurb idea we know alessia is one of the faces of adidas. Alessia getting gifted a pair of her own boots as well as a Lovie sized pair and Lovie wants to wear them all the time and wear her hair up like alessias because she says she’s dressed as mummy
MIRRORED — alessia russo x child!reader
grumpy universe
it was an average wednesday, alessia was carrying you into the arsenal training ground her hands filled with her bag and your bag. you still being half asleep after falling back asleep on the car journey there as alessia made her way through the long corridors and towards the changing room.
not before being stopped by a memeber of staff, "alessia there's a box that's got your new boots in" he smiled as he passed the blonde in the corridor. alessia calling out a thank you as she headed still towards the changing room.
"right lovie are you just going to sit and watch your ipad?" your mummy asked as you hummed pulling your blanket further up to your face. alessia pushing the door to the changing room with her foot as she headed inside, most of the girls being there already and starting to change into their training gear.
alessia placed you down on the bench near her locker as you got yourself comfy, your mummy quickly propping your ipad up and putting something on for you to watch knowing you'd be content until you came around and woke up properly.
alessia sat down and took a breathe, it being the first one she'd properly been able to take this morning after having to rush around after pressing snooze one too many times this morning.
"this yours, less?" alessia turned to where the voice was coming from, it was lotte pointing to a big brown box that was sat next to alessia.
the blonde nodding, "yeah it's new boots for the rest of the season."
"you not gonna open them? looks like they've sent enough for the next season too" lotte joked looking at the size of the box, it definitely not being the smallest box. alessia humming as she too was wondering why the box was so abnormally large. there was only supposed to be three pairs of boots in there.
"they said they were only sending three pairs-" alessia paused as she lifted the box onto her lap, ripping open the seal on the cardboard box, a loud noise echoing the room as she did so.
"oo they aren't they nice" alessia mumbled under her breath as she looked at the boots, a smile creeping on her face. it was always fun getting new kit, the excitement of unboxing them.
"what's in that one?" lotte pointed to the small adidas box which definitely didn't have boots in as it was too small. the blonde shrugged picking them up from inside the large brown box they'd been shipped in.
opening the box, there was a greeting card on top. 'toughness in tiny packages!'
a little quirk of the eyebrow as alessia looked towards lotte who just shrugged urging the blonde to just open the box.
moving the white tissue paper covering the item was a small pair of boots, just like the ones they'd sent alessia but in a size that would fit you.
"oh my god, she's gonna love these" alessia pouted taking in the small boots as she turned them around getting a full feel of the pair of green fusion with the three stripes being a purple colour.
they were almost identical to the ones alessia had just been given to use for the remainder of the season, they had even put your name on the side in small white letters.
a small pout on alessia face as her heart was melting at the cuteness of them, "there class them" lotte complimented as alessia showed her best friend where they'd even put your name on them.
alessia gushed over the small boots along with the other sets of clothes adidas had sent you to wear that matched your mummy. alessia decided to wait until you were in a better mood to show you them. knowing it would get a better reaction than the tired reaction she would get if she showed them to you now.
morning training had finished and the team was ready to go to lunch, you'd been waiting inside. playing with winnie for the morning, you even getting to take the club dog for a walk around the inside of the training ground.
"lovie, c'mere" your mummy called you over as you were laid out on the floor with win, as you watched your ipad. winnie guarding over you protectively.
you perking up at the sound of her voice, pushing yourself off the floor and toward your mum. leaving win to watch your ipad.
you walked over you to your mummy as had a big smile on her face, lifting you up when you got closer. "i've got something to show you"
your eyebrows knitted together, "what is it" you asked curiously. as you began to guess things as your mummy carried you to wherever this thing was that she had to show you.
"no lovie it unfortunately isn't a unicorn but i think it's just as good!" your mummy let out a chuckle at your strange suggestions as you got lost in thought — what was better than a unicorn?
alessia took you back into the locker room where she’d left the packages, placing you to sit on the bench as she grabbed the brown boxes from her locker before handing them to you.
you looked at the box that was now on your lap it easy being nearly the size of you, as you hesitantly looked up towards your mum. one thing you did know is that there definitely wasn’t a unicorn in there..
“open it lovie” your mummy encouraged as you opened the box, discarding the wrapping to one side as you rummaged around before finally lifting up the boot.
a gasp escaping you as you looked at the football boots, a big grin plastered across your face as you jumped up to hug your mummy’s leg. maybe matching boots were cooler than a unicorn.
“mummy there exactly like yours!” your called out holding the boot in the air as if it was a trophy a giggle coming from your mummy’s leg at your excitement.
“i can be like you now!” you continued, as you looked at the two boots as your mummy sat down next to you showing that they had your name on the side, you being in utter awe and for once lost for words, for a short amount of time.
“i wear them now!” you asked as alessia nodded knowing it would put a damper on your mood if she hadn’t let you. “you put my hair like yours too!” you asked pointing to the thick plait that was in your mummy’s pony tail — you wanting the exact same.
your mummy did as you asked plaiting your pony tail that your hair had been scraped back into this morning, alessia putting your little fly aways back in place as you put your boots on. trying your best to lace them but you hadn’t mastered that yet so you left it for your mummy to do.
“all done lovie!” your mummy patted your feet as she finished lacing your boot up, a grin not leaving your face. “gosh it’s like looking in the mirror-“
you were stood looking in the mirror that was built into the wall in the locker room, your mummy stood behind you and if anyone had of walked in it would ah e looked like alessia had duplicated a smaller version of herself.
“should we show the girls?” your mummy asked as you nodded rushing off back to the canteen where most of the girls would be, alessia following suit.
"woah, less is that you?" beth joked as she knelt down to your height as you came in the room just before your mummy, you dressed exactly like her.
"no bethy! it's me!" you squealed correcting beth as she let out a loud laugh. alessia coming through the double doors.
"silly me, i just couldn't tell you apart you look just like your mum!"

lover boy
summary: with a break after doing tons of press, jude only wants to spend his time with one person.
pairing: jude bellingham x reader
the very last shoot jude needed to do before his vacation was his new adidas ad, to promote the collection he did with the brand. being that the euros were finally completed, the boy couldn't be more happy for the upcoming vacation.
"jude, you need to get up," you whispered to him, reaching over him to turn off the alarm.
"i don't want to."
"well you kinda have to. i don't think adidas will be very happy with you," he groaned, flipping his body to lay on his side. jude opens his eyes and held his gaze on you.
"good morning darling."
"good morning m'love. seriously get up before you're late."
"i just wanna be with you. is that so bad?"
"no but in this case yes. you have a ad campaign you need to shoot," you bring your fingers to trace shapes on his arm. he closes his eyes in contentment, quickly soaking in the feeling of your touch.
"you made a commitment baby."
"fine fine, i'm getting up now," he poke's his head up to kiss your cheeks, before finally getting out of bed. "you look so cute snuggled up like that. that's a sight to make a man forget his responsibilities."
"you're such a flirt. go get ready," you couldn't help but to laugh at his dramatics.
"at least take a shower with me."
"can you handle and keep your hands to yourself?"
"i'm not sure yet," jude proceeds to bite his bottom lip, causing you to give him a blank stare.
"wrong answer. go shower, you're wasting time babe," you turn over in bed, hearing jude groan again before he left to finally get ready.
-
"okay, i'm leaving but i'll be back before you even realize i'm gone."
"be safe baby," you lean on your elbow to prop yourself up, puckering your lips for him to leave a kiss. jude gladly does so, leaving a couple pecks.
"i love you sweetheart."
"i love you the most."
"impossible, i love you wayyy more," jude whisper fell on your lips, right as he lays more kisses on your lips.
'you have to go jude."
"just one more kiss," he kisses your lips once more, then pulled away to place one on your forehead as well. you waved at jude with a smile, as he finally left the house.
-
jude wasn't late to the shoot in the end. the man was getting very irritated the more it went on. having to reshoot the scenes. he kept messing up the dialogue. maybe, its because he knew that this was his last commitment before vacation. all he knew was he wanted to be at home, with you in his arms.
"and cut! that's a wrap everyone," with the director clapping, everyone joined in. jude claps with the rest of the team, saying thank you. once he got all his thank you's out, he left immediately. itching to be home already.
-
pulling up to the house, was like a breath of fresh air. he was a free man for the next couple of weeks. jude planned a boys trip to california and miami. he was a bit bummed that you had to stay in spain for work. so he wanted spend as much time as he could with you. just as he was about to walk through the door, his phone starts ringing.
"hello?"
"hey man, the rest of the team is going out tonight before we all go on vacation. you coming?" his teammate and friend, vini jr says. jude pauses, he could either go out or stay inside with you.
"nah, i'm chilling at home today."
"okay, talk to you later."
"alright, bye," he's quick to hang up the phone and walk in your shared home. jude is greeted with the smell of food, specifically pizza.
"baby?" he calls out for you, wondering around looking for you.
"in the kitchen!"
turning the corner, he lays his eyes on you. jude watches you sitting on the counter with a piece of pizza in one hand and your phone in the other. you were wearing his shirt, it stopping on your mid thigh. a sight he quickly grew to love coming home to. you looked up from your phone, meeting his eyes.
"i got hungry but didn't want to cook."
jude chuckles at the way you talk with your mouth slightly full. one of your quirks he's always loved. he closes the short distance between the two of you, inviting himself to stand in your legs. you welcomed him by wrapping your legs loosely around his waist.
"hi."
"hi honey," jude brings a hand to your cheek, swiping his thumb on the apple of your cheek. you place the rest of the pizza in the box, giving him all of your attention.
"how'd it go?"
"don't wanna talk about that right now. just wanna be with you," jude presses his forehead against yours. the stress of the morning finally melting off.
"well, we have a couple days together, before you leave for your trip."
"which means i get you all to myself. thank the heavens."
"you're being dramatic again jude."
"don't care, all i want is you," leaning down to spread kisses in the column of your neck. you giggled and try to move away from his pillowy like kisses. "can't run from me baby, there's not an inch of you that's not gonna be kissed!"

So Boyfriend
summary: alessia is the poster girl for chivalry
warnings: none!
a/n: the minimum expected behaviour in any relationship, if you ask me
word count: 1.6k
-
Alessia’s wearing that black Adidas tracksuit again, the one that should probably have its own spot in the wardrobe by now, considering how often it makes an appearance. You’re not sure what her deal is with that thing. It’s like she’s conducting some kind of long-term experiment to see how many days she can wear it before it becomes a sentient being. But, somehow, it always looks crisp, like it’s just been peeled out of the packaging.
She’s sitting at the kitchen table, legs spread wide like she’s declaring ownership of every square inch of space. The air around her practically vibrates with readiness, like she’s an overzealous butler trapped in the body of a world-class athlete.
You watch her, knowing exactly what’s coming next. She’s eyeing the cupboard, which is already funny because you’re not even hungry, but you know if you so much as glance at the counter, she’ll be up and rifling through shelves like a one-woman search-and-rescue operation. You could have sworn you saw her measuring the exact amount of peanut butter left in the jar last night, like a tactical mission was involved.
If there’s a minute, microscopic part of her brain that suspects you’re craving peanut butter on toast, she’ll know before you do.
And sure enough, Alessia is up before you can even think of saying, “I’ll get it,” moving towards the cupboard like she’s executing a flawless play. She grabs the jar and hands it to you like she’s presenting a hard-won trophy, her eyes bright with that stupid, beautiful grin. You stare at her, trying to remember why you ever thought her overbearing attentiveness was annoying.
You manage a “Thanks,” which comes out more as a croak because, well, what else can you say when you’re so completely outmatched in the whole ‘being a decent human’ department?
Then, like clockwork, she’s clearing the table. It’s your turn, obviously, but Alessia’s got this compulsive need to do things for you, like it’s a moral imperative. You know it’s coming—the way she’ll rinse the plates with one hand while gently nudging you out of the way with her hip, so casual and practiced, like it’s something she’s been doing her whole life. You’re just standing there, one hand holding the peanut butter jar, the other uselessly hovering in the air, like a mime who’s forgotten their routine. The sound of running water and clinking dishes fills the kitchen, and you’re left marveling at how domestic she makes everything feel, how easy it is for her to slip into this role without a second thought.
And here’s the thing: you should be annoyed. It’s your job to do the dishes tonight. You should be doing something about it, like grabbing a towel or, at the very least, half-heartedly protesting. But you’re not. You’re just… watching. You’ve seen this movie a hundred times, but it’s so ridiculous you can’t help but watch again. You’re transfixed by the way she stacks the dishes like they’re precious artifacts, not remnants of your poorly executed attempt at dinner.
When she’s done, she turns around and hands you your phone. It was on the counter, and you weren’t even thinking about it, but of course, she noticed. Of course, she knew exactly when you’d need it. It’s like she’s a mind reader, but only when it comes to the most mundane, everyday things. Like there’s some part of her brain solely dedicated to making sure your phone is fully charged, your favorite snacks are within reach, and that you never run out of clean socks.
You should say something, maybe tease her a little, but you don’t get the chance. Alessia’s already moving on to the next thing—turning off the lights, checking that the stove is off, securing the perimeter. You half expect her to pull out a checklist and start ticking off boxes. Instead, she turns to you, that lopsided grin still plastered on her face, and before you can even think, she’s pulling you in for a kiss.
It’s not just any kiss. It’s slow and soft, the kind that says, Hey, I’ve got all the time in the world, and I’m spending it right here, with you. You melt into it, feeling every ounce of tension you didn’t know you had drain away.
When she finally pulls back, she’s still smiling, and it’s the kind of smile that makes you feel like you’ve just won something. Like maybe you’ve won her, but that can’t be right because it feels more like she’s the one who’s been winning you over, inch by inch, every single day.
Then, because apparently, she hasn’t done enough for one evening, she suddenly suggests, “Let’s go for a walk.” It’s not a question, really. She’s already grabbing a hoodie, even though it’s the middle of summer and the night air is perfectly warm. She throws it over your shoulders, and you know you’re going to sweat through it, but you don’t care.
She makes sure to lock the door behind you, even though you’re only going for a quick loop around the block. Alessia does that—locks up, checks windows, and generally acts like you live in a crime-riddled part of town. Even though you both know the most exciting thing that’s ever happened in your neighborhood is when Mrs. Patterson’s cat got stuck in a tree. And even then, it was a small tree, and the cat was more annoyed than scared.
As you start walking, she naturally takes the side closest to the road, like she’s in some 19th-century novel, guarding your virtue against runaway horse carriages or something equally absurd. You used to roll your eyes at this, but now it just makes you smile, like maybe there’s a small part of you that enjoys being taken care of in this overly dramatic way.
The night is quiet, the kind of quiet that’s comforting rather than eerie. Alessia’s arm slips around your shoulders, her fingers tracing the back of your neck in a way that sends little shivers down your spine. You sigh, and it’s not a sigh of exasperation; it’s the kind of sigh that comes when you’re trying to pretend you’re annoyed but you’re really just a puddle of feelings because she’s doing that thing again—making you feel like you’re the center of the universe.
You keep walking, letting her guide you down familiar streets. She opens the gate for you, then the door to the local café, where the barista already knows your order, thanks to Alessia’s meticulous planning. You’re not sure how, but she’s managed to get everyone on board with this whole ‘make everything perfect for you’ campaign, and honestly, it’s a little terrifying.
You sit down at your usual table, and she insists on ordering for you, even though you’re perfectly capable of speaking for yourself. But there’s something about the way she does it, with that confident ease, like she’s been rehearsing this role her entire life, that makes you just let her.
She returns with your drink, carefully placing it in front of you, making sure it’s exactly the way you like it—extra foam, no sugar, just a hint of cinnamon. You didn’t even know you liked cinnamon until she started ordering it for you.
“You’re ridiculous, you know that?” you finally say, and she just shrugs, that lopsided grin never wavering.
“I just want you to be happy,” she replies, like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. And maybe it is, to her at least.
As you sip your drink, you watch her, watch the way she’s always so effortlessly present, always making sure you’re taken care of, and you realise that this is what it feels like to be loved so completely, so utterly, that it’s almost overwhelming.
It’s the little things she does, the way she’s always three steps ahead, always thinking about what you might need before you even know you need it. It’s the way she’s somehow managed to turn your entire life into a series of moments where you’re constantly cared for, constantly looked after, without ever making you feel smothered.
And maybe you’re starting to like it, more than you ever thought you would. Because being with Alessia is like being in a story where you’re always the main character, and she’s the one making sure the plot unfolds exactly the way it’s supposed to, with all the right twists and turns, and just enough drama to keep things interesting.
As you leave the café, Alessia’s arm finds its way around your shoulders again, guiding you back home, and you let her, because it’s just easier that way. It’s easier to let her do all the little things she does, the things that make you feel so loved and cared for, because deep down, you know you wouldn’t have it any other way.
When you finally get back, she unlocks the door, checks the windows again, and makes sure everything’s in its place. She pulls you in for another kiss, this one a little more urgent, like she’s trying to communicate something she can’t quite put into words. You kiss her back, letting her know you understand, that you get it, and that you’re not going anywhere.
You lie down together, her arm draped over you, and as you drift off to sleep, you realise that maybe this is what it’s all about. Maybe this is what it means to be truly, deeply loved—having someone who’s always there, always ready to do whatever it takes to make sure you’re okay, to make sure you’re happy. And maybe, just maybe, you’re starting to believe that you deserve it.

mine [rafe cameron]
pairing - rafe cameron x reader
summary - when reader goes to hang out with kiara and sarah, rafe gives her no choice as he tags along. he doesn’t trust kiara’s pogue friends around reader, and his protective side gets the best of him.
warnings - protective!rafe, fighting, violence, blood, cursing, talks of death, angst, hurt/comfort, lowkey unpacking rafe’s trauma 😭
﹒⪩⪨﹒ ﹒⪩⪨﹒ ﹒⪩⪨﹒﹒⪩⪨﹒ ﹒⪩⪨﹒ ﹒⪩⪨﹒ ﹒⪩⪨﹒
Tonight was the bonfire. An annual, summer bonfire that the pogues throw every year. Normally, kooks are never invited. But, Sarah and I are the only exceptions as Kiara’s best friends. Sarah has been integrated into their group even more so, now that she’s with John B.
But as for me, they still—even after almost ten years of being Kiara’s friend—hold distain toward me. It only got worse when I started dating the kook prince, Rafe Cameron.
John B, JJ, and Pope always have something to say about me and dating Rafe only added fuel to their fire.
I don’t care though. Kiara and Sarah are my best friends and these boys that make up this stupid kooks vs. pogues rivalry aren’t getting in the way of that.
I was excited for tonight, picking out my outfit as I stepped out of the steaming bathroom in my towel. That was until my boyfriend made an utterly insane suggestion.
“What time are we leaving?” Rafe asks nonchalantly as he steps into the room, flopping down onto my bed, and staring at the ceiling.
I pause, spinning around, holding a top in my hand, “We?” He props himself up on his elbows, furrowing his eyebrows at me.
“Yeah, we. What you think I’d just be unbothered by you hanging out with those pogues? It’s not like I’m going to stop you from going, that’s your choice, and I have no problems with Kiara. I know you’re best friends. It’s her pogue friends I don’t trust. I’m not gonna sit here on my ass while you’re at the bonfire with JJ fucking you with his eyes from across the beach.” He states, like it was plainly obvious.
I sigh, sitting down next to him on the bed. “Babe, I love you, but is it really the best idea for you to go? You hate them. I don’t want to start anything.”
“Oh, I won’t,” he assures. “Trust me, I’ll keep to myself, sitting next to you, drinking a beer, minding my business. As long as JJ doesn’t try anything.” He shrugs.
“What do you mean? JJ won’t do anything what’re you—“
“Every time we’re around Kiara, he’s there. And his eyes are on you. Or he says something rude to you. I don’t like it. Only I get to look at you like that, you’re my girl. If he so much as looks in your direction, I’ll make sure he knows you’re mine, that’s all.” Rafe explains, leaning down to slip his shoes on.
“Okay fine. But please, Rafe. I’m begging, don’t do anything stupid. I don’t want this night to be ruined, I just wanna hang out with my friends.” I say, nervous about how Rafe’s behavior easily gets out of hand, especially around JJ.
Rafe sits up, putting his hand on my thigh, and looking right in my eyes. “I know—I know I can get carried away sometimes. And I’m sorry, I just—I need to protect what’s mine, okay? They already took my sister from me, there’s no shot I’d ever let them take you from me too. I don’t trust they won’t hurt you, okay? I just need to be there. Just in case, okay?”
I press my lips together, “Okay. Just promise me, don’t start anything.”
He pauses, contemplating, “Unless he does?”
I roll my eyes, “Fine unless he does.”
Rafe smiles, satisfied, “Then, yes. I promise.” He places a kiss on my cheek.
I get up and walk back to the closet, throwing a pair of denim shorts on the bed and two tops, “Which top?” I turn around and look at Rafe.
He inspects both of them. One being a white tube top with pink lily flowers on it, the other being a crochet multi-colored tube top.
“Mhmm, the flower one.”
I smile at him, grabbing the outfit and changing. I slip on my adidas sambas and grab my purse. “Ready?” I ask him. He says nothing, just staring at me.
I step closer to him, waving my hand in front of his face. “Helloooo??” He just chuckles, pushing my hand down, his hands landing on my hips, and pulling me closer.
“Do we have to go?”
I smile, brushing my hands over his buzzed hair, “Yes, Rafe. C’mon, let’s go.”
He groans, resting his head on my stomach. He places small kisses along my stomach, “But if we stay here,” his hand slides back toward my ass. “I could entertain you.”
My cheeks turn pink as I almost give in, but shake back to reality. “No, c’mon. I promised Kie.” I pat my hand on his back as I step away. “Let’s go.”
He groans, standing and coming to my side. He grabs my hand and walks out the bedroom with me, “Fine.”
I chuckle and lean up, placing a kiss on his shoulder as we walk down the stairs. He opens the front door for me and we head to my drive away. He opens the door of his truck and buckles me in before rounding to the drivers side. My music automatically connects every time we get into his car and it always makes me smile.
-
Rafe parks the car as we arrive at the beach, and I spot Kiara and all her friends by the shore, sitting around the fire while the beach is packed with everyone from the cut.
Rafe opens my door for me, grabbing my hand as I hop out of his truck. He shuts the door and rests his hands on my shoulders, looking out to the beach, and letting out a long sigh. “Oh, stop. It’ll be fine, okay, just try to have fun. For me?”
He rolls his eyes, playfully. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s just get this over with so I can have you back at Tannyhill tonight all to myself.”
I chuckle, grabbing onto his hand and pulling him down toward the beach. I go to the bonfire, where Kie sits with Sarah.
“Kie!”
She turns around, grinning. She gets up and runs over to me, embracing in a hug. “Oh my god,” she gushes, grabbing onto my shoulders. “It’s been forever.”
Her gaze moves to my right where Rafe stands, rigid and unmoving like some kind of guard dog. “And Rafe,” she grumbles.
“Hello to you too Kie,” He smiles condescendingly.
To try to lessen the tension, I turn to Rafe. “Could you go get me a drink, please?” I widen my eyes at him.
He sighs, nodding before walking off.
“Why is he here?” Sarah asks as I go to sit with her and Kie.
“Trust me, I thought it was a bad idea too, but there was no stopping him.” I shrug. “He won’t start anything, trust me.”
Rafe walks back over to us, handing me my drink. He looks over at Sarah, rolling his eyes. “The pogue princess.”
Sarah scoffs, “Oh shut up.”
Rafe opens his mouth to say something again, but when I shoot him a look, he groans but keeps his words to himself.
As the night goes on, Rafe does exactly as promised. I sit with Kie and Sarah, catching up. While Rafe sits beside me, holding one of my hands in his lap as he fidgets with my rings and bracelets, just counting the seconds till he could take me home.
“Well, y’know John B and I got.. married.”
I whip my head around, “What?! Oh my god?”
She chuckles, “Yeah.. kinda of spur of the moment type thing. Not much thought into it—I’m honestly not sure it’s actually legal either but, yeah.”
“Congra—“ I begin before getting cut off by the one person I was praying would not come over here tonight.
“Y/n, what a surprise.” JJ exclaims, walking over to where we were. “And Cameron. Of course,” he says sarcastically.
I feel Rafe tense next to me, his grip on my hand getting stronger. “Can’t say I’m thrilled to see you either, Maybank.”
“You’re the one on the cut. This is a pogue bonfire. Why the fuck are you even here? And with miss kook princess, over here?” JJ looks over at me, then back at Rafe.
“Rafe,” I warn, looking at him as his jaw clenches and he lets go of my hand.
Rafe stands, facing JJ. “I was willing to leave you alone, as long as you left her alone but clearly, that’s not possible for you.” Rafe pushes at JJ’s chest.
“Stop, Rafe.” Sarah shouts, standing and trying to push JJ away. When her attempts don’t work, she waves over John B.
“Rafe, let’s just go,” I stand, tugging at his hand.
“Yeah,” JJ agrees. “Listen to your bitch and go.”
“What the hell, JJ?” Kie stands, even her agreeing her best friend is being an asshole.
Rafe chuckles, his tongue poking at his cheek as he pulls his hand from my grasp, grabbing onto the collar of his shirt. “The fuck did you just say?”
“I said take your bitch and go.” JJ spits.
Rafe pushes JJ down and he falls onto the sand, Rafe straddling him as he lands punch after punch. “You always gotta start shit,” Rafe says, blood coating his shirt and knuckles.
“JJ he’s not worth it!” John B shouts, finally making his way over. John B attempts to grab Rafe’s shoulders and pull him off but Rafe pushes John B, causing him to stumble back.
“Rafe, what the hell!” Sarah shouts, going to John B’s side.
I go to grab Rafe’s arm, causing him to stop punching JJ, not wanting to accidentally hurt me. When Rafe pauses, JJ takes the chance and flips Rafe over, landing a punch square to his jaw. “Y/n needs to come around without you sometimes. She’s pretty hot for a kook,” JJ chuckles.
At this, Rafe gets his strength and punches JJ in the jaw so hard, JJ falls off of Rafe, landing on his back in the sand. Kiara goes to JJ and I grab Rafe, trying to pull him away as fast as possible. Rafe shakes from my grip one last time and goes to stand over JJ.
“Stop! Let’s just go, c’mon!” I groan, everyone on the beach now circling the bonfire watching this unfold.
“Listen to her Rafe! Get out of here before the cops get here, just leave!” Sarah shouts, her brows furrowed in anger.
“Talk about her again, Maybank. You won’t live to see the next fucking day.” Rafe spits, standing up and walking over to me. He goes to grab my hand but I refuse, walking past him to the truck.
“Y/n!” He shouts, following after me. I lean against the passenger door, waiting for him.
He walks over, slumped over, feeling defeated even though he technically won the fight, he knows he made me upset. He stands in front of me, unlocking the truck with his keys and I turn around, getting in before he could open the door for me, and shutting it without a word.
When he rounds the car and gets in on the drivers side, I turn on the overhead light and grab his jaw, inspecting his face.
His lips is busted open, a bruise already forming around his cheekbone. Blood splattered across his cheek, neck, and shirt. “I’m sorry,” he whispers. “But I couldn’t stand there while he said that shit about you.”
“You could’ve let it go and we could’ve just left. I just wanted a normal night to hang out with Kie and now they just have more reason to hate you. And you’re hurt.” I sigh, my thumb gently brushing along his cheekbone.
“No, I couldn’t have. You can be mad at me forever, I don’t care—I’ll always defend you. Even if that means you hate me. I’ll always protect you.” He replies, putting his keys in the engine and starting the car.
I sigh, and lean back, looking out the window. There’s nothing more I could say. When Rafe had his mind set on something, you couldn’t change it. Especially when it came to protecting the people he loved. He’s a naturally protective and territorial person. Nothing can get through his mind when he’s in that violent state, just wanting to protect the people he loves.
After a very silent ride, we arrive back at Tannyhill. Rafe parks in the driveway, pausing before getting out. “Do you want to be here? I can take you home if you don’t want to be around me, I understand—“
“What?” I ask, turning to face him.
“You’re upset. I went too far. I figured you didn’t want to be with me right now.”
“No, Rafe, no,” I sigh, my hand coming to rest on his thigh. “I’m upset at everything that happened but, I’m not mad at you. I think there might’ve been a better way to handle it, but I’m not mad. Let’s just go inside okay? And talk?”
Rafe nods, stepping out of the car and coming to my side, opening the door. My hand finds his as he helps me out and we make our way to the front door.
Quietly, he opens the door to the very empty, quiet, home. Ever since Ward died, I stay over at Rafe’s almost every night. Rafe said he feels lonely at home. Even though Rose and Wheezie still live there, it’s not the same. And tonight, Rose was away on the mainland and Wheezie was staying over at a friend’s house.
Rafe guides me up the stairs, the stairs I’ve walked up countless times. To the familiar route of his room, but I pull him off into the bathroom next to his room.
“What’re you—“
“Shh,” I shush him, patting the counter, indicating him to sit. He sighs, but follows, sitting on the counter patiently.
I reach into the medicine cabinet, pulling out the first aid kit. I grab a wipe, taking away the excess blood so I can clearly see where he’s hurt. I treat his busted lip, Rafe flinching as I put disinfectant on his lips.
“Is it because of your mom?” I ask softly.
He stiffens, and asks, “What do you mean?”
He knows what I mean.
“The overprotectiveness. Is it because of what happened to your mom?” I question.
He sighs, shrugging. “Sort of, I guess. When I was younger I felt like her death was my fault. Ever since then I’ve always wanted to protect what’s mine, everyone close to me. But, it got so.. intensified when we got together. I never protected anyone as strongly as I do with you.”
I nod, staying silent as I inspect his hands. I didn’t speak because, I had a feeling he wasn’t done. Like he had so much more to say. He’s not very good at expressing his emotions. So when he does, I try to give him all the room to vent.
“Does it bother you? Or scare you? I don’t mean to. I just can’t help it. I could never forgive myself if something happened to you and I wasn’t there to defend you. Just like I couldn’t defend my mom, I guess.”
I press my lips together, grabbing the wrap from the kit. “It doesn’t scare me in the way you think. I just don’t want you to go too far one day and do something you’ll regret. Or hurt yourself beyond repair. That’s what scares me.”
He doesn’t say anything, watching silently as I wrap his bruises knuckles. “I just hate him. All of them. They took everything from me. I won’t let them take you. I hate the way they look at you. The way he looks at you. The things they say.” His jaw clenches just thinking about it.
“They don’t know you. They don’t understand how truly selfless and kind you are. They don’t know shit. I hate the way they talk about you. Some friend Kiara is for not fucking defending you either—“ His voice begins to raise.
“Hey, hey. It’s okay.” I sigh, finishing bandaging his hand. “Look let’s just go to bed, okay? It’s been a long night.” I pat his knee and move from between his legs. He slips off the counter and I gently put my hand in his.
He follows me like a lost puppy to his own bedroom.
His room is the polar opposite of mine and it always makes me smile. When he’s in my room, seeing him curled up on my fluffy pink bed, and me in his cold, plain room in my frilly pink pajamas I keep in his dresser. Rafe goes in his closet and finds some clothes to change into while I change into pajamas from my designated drawer in his room.
I sit on his bed as I wait for him, closing my eyes. I hear his footsteps and look over at him, he’s shirtless, in only some basketball shorts. He flicks off his bedside light and gets under the covers.
I scoot closer, resting my head in the crook of his neck. His hand runs gently, up and down my back, the room falling quiet with just our breathing.
“I’m sorry. I’ll try to be better,” He confesses, causing my heart to shatter into a million pieces.
I sigh, looking up at him. I place a kiss on his jaw, smiling into his neck. “It’s okay. I understand now why you do it. You just need to talk to me, yeah? But maybe just try to not beat people up so terribly.” I chuckle, pointing at his bruises.
“Hey, you should see the other guy,” He jokes, grinning down at me.
I smile softly, pressing a kiss to his lips. “Goodnight.”
Rafe smiles, his fingers brushing through my hair. “Goodnight, pretty girl.”

you had seen the comments underneath your tiktoks, primarily your fit checks. oscar's fans are begging for better tiktok content from oscar, and you have decided today is the day. after tying up your sneakers, oscar grabs his keys, getting ready to leave.
"wait! i forgot something!" you exclaim, opening up your phone to tiktok and setting it up on the credenza. oscar, knowing you, stands off to the side awkwardly as you turn on the camera. what he doesn't expect is for you to pull him into frame as the counter ticks down. you smile bright, and start talking: "oscar and i are about to go on a walk, so why not do a fitcheck?" you giggle, looking at oscar's confused face.
"you wanna go first, baby?" you tease and oscar sighs, then pulls off his hat, looking at the front. "we got, mclaren," he says as he puts the hat back on his head. he points to his shirt and you laugh as he says, "mclaren."
"and the shorts..." he trails off, looking at the plain black shorts for any logo. "lululemon," you whisper, and oscar's eyebrows jump as he realizes. "yes, right. lululemon shorts." he lifts his foot, looking at his sneakers. "um...looks like adidas, might be wrong, but..." he shrugs, giving you a helpless look. you laugh at his raised eyebrows and wide eyes before gesturing to yourself.
"wanna guess my clothes?" oscar's eyebrows raise but he nods, turning his body slightly away from the camera so he can look at your outfit. "the top is...alo right?" his brows furrow slightly, but you see his face brighten up as you nod. "and then the leggings, lululemon." he taps the logo on the back, "noticed that earlier." you flush slightly but nod, before he looks at your shoes. "nike." he grins, nudging his foot against yours, proud.
"good job, baby!" you laugh, kissing his cheek. his rosy cheeks get redder, and he nods. "bye, guys! oscar, wave!" you get closer to the camera, and you laugh as oscar waves awkwardly before turning off the camera.
"such a good sport," you tease, patting as his cheek gently. he rolls his eyes, "never again." you hum, as you post the tiktok.
"sure, baby." you grin, knowing full well he loves you enough to do another one.

a/n: summer break !!! i can finally post more :) i am taking summer courses which sucks tho :(
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
usually, you love a good party. the drinks, the way drunk girls unite while in line for the bathroom. it became one of your favorite things about college.
but it wasn't always this way.
during your first year, you absolutely despised parties. opting out to curl up with a good book or tv show.
it was your second year when you found your love for parties.
your roommates begged you to go to a "beginning of the school year" party. then they dressed you like you were their doll.
3 shots later, you were all ready to go. (you wanted to pregame in fear of getting spiked at the party)
when you saw yourself in the mirror, you could not see the nerdy girl underneath.
short black skirt, tight white corset, boots that gave you at least two inches of height, and smoky makeup up with lashes.
your breast sat pretty, your ass was basically out, and your hair was straightened. straying away from the normal curls.
this was way out of your comfort zone but you liked it. feeling, for once in your life, hot.
of course, once you were actually at the party the confidence you had dissipated. you felt self-conscious, as you stood in the corner of the room.
you watched as people danced with friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, sneaky links. seeing them dance so openly and freely made you feel like an imposter.
you looked down into your red cup full of sprite. it wasn't even halfway finished.
you frowned as you looked back up. scanning the room for your roomates, you saw them having a good time.
sipping drinks and flirting with a group of guys that you've never seen.
that's when a pair of eyes found yours.
your eyes met his dark eyes and you felt your heart flutter.
your eyes dart to the floor in a panic as your cheeks heated up.
you never had gotten attention from boys, especially guys that were as hot as him.
he was tall, a good 5'10, lean, pretty face, dark eyes, jet black hair that looked soft to the touch and full lips that curve up into a cupids bow.
you could only imagine how they would feel.
you pulled yourself out of your thoughts and raced to pull out your phone.
focusing intently on your phone, you pull up your shared groupchat and start to type.
you only got to third word when you saw a body enter your eye sight.
you looked up to see who it is and it's the guy that was staring at you.
your heart was beating out of your chest. you've only ever read about guys this beautiful. but now you were in the presence of one.
you were awestruck like you just saw god.
he was dressed in the most basic fit, a backwards hat, a white tee, black adidias pants with stripes, and a white pair of adidas.
"hey, i've never seen you hear before." he gave you the most gut churning smile.
his long dimples catched your eyes like a moth to a flame.
"yeah, my roommate dragged me here and then disappeared." you bit your bottom lip.
"well, i can keep you company for the time being," he took your empty hand into his, leading you to the kitchen.
"what are we doing?" you question as you see where he is leading you.
"to get a drink." he smiled.
"what's your name?" you asked as he pulls you along.
"i'm na jaemin," he smirked.
that's when you knew you were in deep shit.
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
now, your stood across the room from him just like how it started. glaring at him as if you were a hunter stalking its prey.
you know he feels your gaze. choosing to ignore it instead for some girl. the girl being one of your ex-roommates. the same one that brought you to a party in the first place.
you weren't surprised at this revelation. you knew she was known for being a homewrecker.
even going as far as sleeping with a professor. leading to his divorce with his wife.
so when you found the sext's between your boyfriend and ex-roommate, you didn't even flinch. she's known for this.
but, jaemin doesn't know that you know. all day you've been going around like everything is okay between you two.
just like is started, you plan to end it that way too.
he wants to play, you can play too.
while dressing up, you made sure to put on something that would turn heads.
dressing yourself in a tiny black skirt, red corset, and your favorite black heeled boots.
wearing the most dramatic makeup, a smokey red look with eyeliner that could cut.
nevertheless he doesn't even give you a second look. instead his focus is on the girl in front of him. looking her up and down while smirking.
you feel your face get hot, the anger has you crushing the red cup in your hand. nearing spilling all of you're sprite and vodka.
your hands releases before anything can spill.
instead you take a big gulp, nearly draining your cup.
you continue watching as the alcohol runs down, basking in the feeling of the warm substance reaching your stomach.
the feeling calms you. taking your mind away from the breaking heart in your chest.
you close your eyes and take a deep breath. containing the tears that you've been holding back.
when you open your eyes, you see him flashing his gummy smile at the women in front of him.
you are so over it. you are so ready to go over there and talk your shit.
not only to him, but to her too.
just as you were getting ready to stalk towards them, you feel a pair of hands on your waist.
you yelp as you jump to turn around.
"oh i didn't mean to scare you," your best friend, ryujin apologizes.
"it's okay," you turn back around as you feel your eyes start to water.
she quickly follows your gaze to where your almost ex-boyfriend is flirting with your ex-roommate.
she knows everything. as soon as your found out, she was there. threatening to cut his dick off and shove it down his throat.
at the time that made you laugh, but now it makes you want to cry. you wish she could do it without getting charged, but unfortunately that is frowned upon.
you put your head down to shield the forming tears from your best friend.
"forget about him," she makes her way to your front.
"i am trying," you pull your head up to look her in the eyes.
her hands make their way to your shoulders, shaking you lightly.
when you see her soften smile, you nearly break down.
"we are going to dance." she pulls you into a hug before pulling back and grabbing your wrist.
you hurry to gulp down your drink as she pulls you along.
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
you end up between ryujin and a random guy.
your back is to him as you scan the room to find your cheating boyfriend.
you didn't realize how close you were until he leans over you and whispers into your ear.
"what are you looking at?" he follows your eyes to were you have been looking, "you've been staring over there all night."
you roll your eyes, "my boyfriend is cheating on me with my ex roommate."
you turn around to face him, faced with on of the most beautiful boys you have ever seen.
you thought the same about jaemin, but this guy topped him by a lot.
as tall (maybe taller) than jaemin, wide cat light eyes, that gleam a
you couldn't help but notice how pretty his eyes are. a dark chocolate color that has you buckling at the knees just looking at them.
you immediately freeze, face turning red for the second time tonight.
"i'm sorry for throwing that all on you,"
"no, it's okay. i'm jungwon," he greets you.
that name sounds so familiar but you can't put your finger on it. you crinkle your face as you attempt to recall.
"jungwon... i know that name from somewhere,"
"we had a project together last year. over the pros of solar power." he tilts his head slightly and smiles, his dimple on full display.
his smile caused the butterfiles to unleash from their cage in your chest. you attempt to lock them back up, but instead they make their way down to your cunt.
you slightly rub your thighs together as you feel your underwear dampen.
"oh yeah," you smile back.
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
during the night, you dance with ryujin and jungwon. even going as far as to grind on the both of them.
hoping to get a reaction for your cheating boyfriend but instead getting the attention of his friends. glaring at you like you were in the wrong.
you couldn't care less, flipping them off multiple times as you grind your ass on the two people surrounding you.
as the night goes on you start to forget about jaemin. enjoying your time with jungwon and ryunjin, laughing and dancing to the music.
sometime around 1am, ryujin excuses you and her to go to the bathroom.
while standing in line you catch a glimpse of jaemin leaving his room with your ex-roommate, attempting to hide her behind him.
"where have you been all night?" he questions accusingly, as the girl sneaks past you both.
"i don't know, where have you been all night?" you scolf, crossing your arms.
"looking for you," he rolls his eyes.
"i was so easy to spot, ask your friends," you smirk, "or maybe ask your little fuck buddy," you nearly laugh.
"what?" jaemin squints his eyes are he plays dumb.
"oh you thought you were being sneaky?" you laugh this time, "might want to tell her that, she has been eyeing me the whole night. i think she wants me next. too bad i don't want your sloppy seconds." you wink.
you watch as his face turns a deep red. making you want to laugh even more. as he opens his mouth to respond, you hear the bathroom door open.
it is your turn for the bathroom.
"come on y/n," ryujin pulls you into the bathroom with her before you could finish going off on him.
"thank you," you hug her.
you probably would of pushed him down the flight of stairs next to you guys if she didn't pull you into the bathroom.
"no problem," she smiles at you as she pulls back.
after you both pee, you decide to go to check jaemin's room. sepecting that they were fucking while you were dancing.
you know that is it going to hurt you but you just need to prove it. your noisy personailty getting ahold of you.
when you both exit the bathroom, you top her. stepping off the side so the line can keep going.
"you can go down first," you tell her, "i have something i have to do." you nod to the room jaemin and his mistress came out of.
"okay, call me if you need me," she smiles, "the offer still stands, i can cut it off and stick it down her month instead."
you shake your head with a chuckle.
"i need you out of jail, who else is gonna threaten people for me."
she rolls her eyes, "fine, well text me. i'll be downstairs."
you give her a tiny nod before turning to walk down the dark hall.
when you get closer to jaemin's room, you see jungwon enter it.
you feel your stomach flip.
"why is he in there?" you question.
you conutine to stalk towards the room and with one step at a time, you feel your heart drop.
by the time you open the door, your heart is in your stomach.
the light on jaemin's desk is the only light on in the room. casting a orangish yellow color within the room.
"what are you doing in here?" you ask the boy that is leaning on jaemin's desk. the very same desk that you do homework on. or atleast did.
you shake the thought out of your head.
"waiting for you," jungwon smiles.
"how did you know i was.... you know what nevermind, you can you help?"
"sure, what do you need me to do?"
you look down at your shoes that are killing your feet.
"i'm looking for anything that proves that they were.. having sex." you wince at the heartbreaking thought.
he quickly moves to look around the bed as you rummage through jaemin's drawers.
knowing him, you thought he would hide it somewhere.
just like how he hide his secret side piece.
"like this?"
you turn around in a flash and to see jungwon holding the evidence.
a ripped condom packet.
you feel the tears form.
"fuck." you quickly wipe the few tears that are rolling down your cheeks.
he looks at you with pure eyes. watching as you wipe your tears.
he starts to walk towards you, "y/n, you know that he -"
he stops as you dash to the bathroom, feeling bile rise from your stomach.
you dry heave into the trash, only to find the final conformation that he indeed slept with her.
the condom, lazily tied and tossed for the world to see.
you feel your world crash down around you. you back up to the wall behind you. sliding down it as the tears slide down your face.
"he doesn't deserve you, y/n." jungwon sits down next to you.
"i know, jungwon. but it still hurts," you pull your knees to your chest and put your head on them.
jungwon takes this chance to move in front of you. pulling your head up to look into your eyes.
his brown eyes matching his dark brown hair, both glimmering in the bathroom light.
"can i take your mind off of it?" he wipes your tears.
"how?" you search his eyes for a clue to why he is being so nice to you.
"like this," he leans foward and smashes his lips onto yours.
you kiss back, feeling his warm lips against yours. not in lust but in want, need, yearning.
placing his hands on your cheeks he pulls you into a deeper kiss.
he pushes his tongue lightly against your lips. asking for entrance. you slightly part your lips and he pushes his tongue in.
he tastes like cranberry, probably from the cranberry vodka he was drinking.
you moan at the taste, sending a shock to your now aching cunt.
you took this time to push your tongue into his mouth, exploring it, memorizing, and craving more of it.
you don't even know how long you have been kissing when he pulls back.
you could care less as he rest his forehead on yours.
"fuck, you have no idea how long i've wanted to do that." his dimples reval themselves as he smiles..
"really?" you look down at your shoes.
"yes," brings his pointer fingers to your chin and lifts up your head.
"jungwon?" you question as your eyes flicker from one eye to the other.
"yes gorgeous?"
"can we get off the floor? my heels are hurting my feet." you chuckle.
"oh yeah," he moves quickly to get up.
once he is on his two feet, he holds out his hand to help you up.
thinking that he is just gonna help you up, you take it. but instead you end up around him.
legs circling him and arms incasing his neck.
your faces are inches apart when he utters.
"is this okay?" jungwon asks, pulling his face back a little to watch you answer.
you feel youself blush at the way his breath tickled your lips.
"yes, this is okay." you smile up at him.
he takes this as a okay to walk you out of thr bathroom. sitting you on jaemin's desk, he quickly makes his way to look the door.
"if you want to stop at any time, tell me okay?" he states as he takes big strides towards you.
you nod with a little smile. already feeling a little daze from the way he is talking to you.
"baby, use your words. i need to know that you understand," he reaches you and pulls you to the edge of the desk. pulling you closer to him.
"i understand jungwon," as soon as the words left your mouth, he lunges at your neck. soft lips leaving a trail of soft kissed and love bites.
"atta girl." jungwon praises you.
you feel the ache between your thighs worsen as he speaks.
"if i was your man, i would treat you better." he mutters on your neck.
"jungwon," you moan as he places one hand on your waist and the other on your left tit. pulling roughly on your corset, letting your breasts out of the tight garment.
"you like that? my hands all over you in his bedroom?" jungwon teases.
"mhm, i like it so much," you throw your head back in bliss.
his fingers pinch and squeezes your nipple making you jump and whimper.
"fuck y/n, you're so amazing." he grunts.
you close your thighs around jungwon, core aching in need as he continues talking.
"i would make you so happy y/n," jungwon starts, "baby, you would never feel the way he makes you feel,"
he brings his hand down from your tit to your clit. outlining the little bead as you arch into his hand.
you throw you head back, making it easier for him to have access to your neck.
he sucks roughly at your soft spot.
between the feeling of his lips on you and the noises that are filling the room, you could no longer hold back.
"fuck, jungwon." you moan loudly.
"you're so perfect y/n." he groans.
your fingers claw at his clothed back, wanting more.
"can i leave a mark?" he asks against your neck.
you nod as he starts to suck and nip at your skin savagely.
the sensation of his lips against your neck and his fingers circling you clit but not touching, you feel like you were going to combust of need.
"jungwon," you try to move your neck.
but, he doesn't let you move instead he places the hand from you waist on the back of your neck.
"please, please," you grind into his finger, finally getting it to touch your clit.
you roll your eyes in pleassure.
"what do you need baby?" he mumbles against your neck.
"i need you."
he pulls back and brings his hand from your clit to your chin. admirring his work before looking into your eyes.
"are you sure?" his bright brown eyes look at your wereily.
"please, i really want this," you smash your lips onto his.
you feel his arms embrace you before picking you up and making way to jaemin's bed.
you know this is wrong but you couldn't care less. jaemin cheated on you... and you want this.
jungwon lays you on your back on the edge of jaemin's bed.
"god, you're so gorgeous," he pulls back to look at you.
you blush and shy away, turning your head.
he pulls your head back to look at him.
"you don't have to cover up for me," he smiles at you.
"okay," you look into his big brown eyes.
he makes his hands down to your skirt.
"can i leave it on?"
fuck.
"yes," you whine.
he moves to his knees and kisses up your thighs to your underwear.
you gasp as jungwon's teeth latch onto the thin fabic of your underwear. you sit up on your elbows to watch him drag them off of you with his teeth.
you can feel the smooth surface of his teeth as he slowly drags them against your skin.
his hands are on the side of both of your thighs as he looks up at you with dark, lustful eyes.
once your underwear are past your thighs, jungwon finishes pulling them down quickly.
"lay just like that baby." jungwon mumbles as he lightly pushes you back down.
when you're back down, he starts to kiss up your thighs.
his hands return to the side of you as he continues to kiss up your thighs slowly until he makes it to your stomach.
"you're so pretty," he growls onto your stomach.
"jungwon, please." you arch.
he slides his right hand up your thigh to your wet heat.
you shudder at the feeling, feeling the sensation of your pulsating cunt.
the soft tips of his fingers prodding at your entrance.
"please what?" he smirks against your stomach.
"touch me," you moan as he slides his finger in.
"that's all you had to say y/n," he slides back onto his knees.
before you could even think of something to say, his mouth connects with your clit. sucking harshly as you whimper.
"fuck jungwon," he slides another finger into your wet pussy.
fingers pumping into you as he sucks on your numb clit.
"jungwon," you heave as he speads up his pace.
his tongue swirls around your clit as he continues to finger you.
"i am going to cum," you moan, "please keep going, just like that." you run your hands through his hair.
he doesn't stop as you grip his hair tightly.
you start to feel that build up of pleasure that jaemin could never bring to you.
"fuck, i am so so so close,"
jungwon moans against your clit and you break.
arching you back as you chant his name.
he slows down his motions and lifts off of you, quickly coming up to check on you.
"are you okay?" jungwon smiles with his red lips and puffy lips.
"yes, i am more than okay." you smile at him in a daze, "this is the first time in awhile that a guy has made me cum." you blush.
"glad i could help," he smiles again before going down to pick up your underwear.
"what are you doing?" you sit up on your elbows.
"dressing you. i don't want your roommate to worry." he helps you to pull up your underwear.
"she'll be okay," you smile as he stands.
"i want it to be special." he looks down at you.
"what?" you look back up at him.
"I want my first time with you to be special." he explains.
"why?"
"because, this is something i've been dreaming about. i do not want it to be in the same room that you're cheating ex lives in. you deserve so much better." he pulls you up and looks into your eyes.
you blush as you look down at the floor.
"is that okay with you?" jungwon brings his hand to your chin and guides it so that you are looking at him.
his eyes as wide as a full moon. glaring at you with a sparkle that has you wanting to drop to your knees.
"yes," you kiss him, jungwon kissing you back with more passion than you thought a human could ever have.
he pulls back after about a minute, "let's get you home."
you nod as he grabs your hand and leads you to the door.
as soon as you open it, your ex is standing there.
"what the fuck are you doing with my girlfriend?" he nearly screams.
"doing what you couldn't," jungwon smiles innocently, "making her cum."
you chuckle as jungwon pulls you though the party.
eyes are all on you both but you couldn't care less. for the first time in a long time you feel wanted. cherished.
you look around for your bestfriend but don't see her. pulling out your phone you see her text.
i went home, text me (jungwon texted me ;))
"i can drive you home." he says as you both step out into the cold.
"i would love that," you smile up at him from his right side.
"alright," he slings his arm around you and kisses your forehead, "let's go."

shoe shopping is so humiliating they need to put changing rooms in there at least. 3pm on a saturday and i'm there sweating it out, in between pairs of docs so the dogs are fully out, on the hardest bench crafted by human hands in between the two little shelves. always those two little shelves, with the skechers display items lined up collecting dust. i'm rolling around in the mud out there trying to free this pair of timbs from their tissue paper cocoon and next thing i know the 60 year old attendant, gums showing, comes barreling up holding a foot-measuring device that the occult masters were no doubt using for some kind of podiatrist phrenology a hundred years ago, ready to tell me that my long unwieldy pinky toe signifies i won't make it through the winter. and i'm flat on my back, wishing i hadn't put the boots back in the box after seeing the price tag, so i could at least kick up and defend myself. eventually i get to take my leave toting a pair of mediocre adidas, looking like shaggy blonde poodles just raring to hit third place at the district track meet next week. but you leave a piece of yourself behind, y'know, in between those two little display shelves. the saints' eyes aren't seeing you from between those shelves, i can tell you that

commercial
alessia russo x actress!reader (requested)
summary: pairing up with a footballer for a commercial changed your life
based off of the adidas commercial she was featured in before the women's world cup in 2023
you never thought filming a commercial would bring you to london.
being an actress with a hit hbo series and a partnership with adidas kept you busy, traveling constantly between coasts, countries, and continents.
this job felt different. you’d always admired women’s sports, so when your agent called you with the news that adidas wanted you for their new campaign promoting the women's world cup, it felt like an honor.
empowering women, celebrating athletes—it was something you could get behind since its what you cared about. you said yes without a second thought.
now, with a plane ticket in hand, you were ready to make it happen.
the moment you step off the plane at heathrow, london’s summer breeze hits you—crisp, slightly cool, and carrying the scent of rain and freshly brewed coffee. your driver, an older man with a kind smile, helps load your bags, and you’re soon winding your way through the city streets.
as you look out the car window, everything feels vibrant and alive. red double-decker buses whizz by, people spill out of cafes, and there's a constant hum in the air.
despite being a little jet-lagged, you’re excited—more excited than you've been for a job in a long time.
the next morning, you arrive on set for the commercial shoot, and it’s a whirlwind of motion—producers barking orders, cameras being set up, and the smell of fragrancelingering in the air.
a production assistant greets you almost the second you step out of your car, a polite smile on their face, speaking rapidly into their headset.
"y/n, so glad you could make it! we’re just about to start introducing everyone. can i take you to meet the other talents– the footballers i shall say?”
you nod, straightening your posture and reminding yourself to relax.
just another job, just another set. yet the excitement buzzing in the air makes your nerves tingle. the assistant leads you toward the back of the set, where a few women stand, laughing easily with one another.
you recognize them immediately.. lena oberdorf, mary fowler, and alessia russo. you’d seen their photos in the media. never having enough time to watch ninety minutes of football, you still knew how good they were.
lena is first to notice you.
“y/n!! you’re kidding?!!” she says to mary with a friendly smile, sticking her hand out. “nice to meet you.”
you shake her hand, grinning. “nice to meet you too. i’m a big fan of your game.”
“and i am a big fan of yours!!” lena says, seeming genuinely pleased. “looking forward to working with you today. the concept seems fun.”
mary and alessia both chime in their greetings.
there’s a moment of small talk as you chat about the campaign, the concept, and the filming schedule. but as you exchange introductions, your eyes keep drifting back to alessia.
there’s something about her that draws you in—something in the way she carries herself, confident yet laid-back, with a gaze that's intense but kind. and when her eyes meet yours, you swear you see a flash of something else, something that makes your heart skip.
“so, you’re an actress..” alessia says finding small talk, leaning in a little closer. her voice has a certain lilt to it. warm, curious.
“yeah,” you reply, trying to keep your voice steady,
“i’ve been working in television for a while, but this is my second sports commercial.”
“oh, really?” alessia tilts her head, her blonde hair falling to the side as she studies you.
“guess we’re both kind of stepping into each other’s worlds for this one. i’ve never done a commercial myself unless it was for arsenal.”
“well, from what i’ve heard, you’ll be great,” you say, and it’s not just a compliment. you mean it.
you’ve heard from your assistant about alessia playing for the england national team. she must be amazing.
alessia chuckles softly, and you catch the way her eyes sparkle, like she's genuinely enjoying the conversation.
“we’ll see,” she says, that easy confidence still there but with a playful glint.
“just don’t laugh at me if i mess up my lines.”
you shake your head, laughing. “only if you promise not to laugh at me trying to dribble a football.”
“deal,” alessia says, flashing you a grin that makes you wonder just how often she uses that smile to get what she wants.
there’s something magnetic about her, and as much as you try to focus on the task at hand, your mind keeps circling back to her.
soon, it’s time to start filming, and the director calls everyone to their positions. the first scene you're shooting together is a lighthearted setup in a grocery store, meant to highlight how sports are part of everyday life.
you and alessia are supposed to be casually shopping, pretending to pick out items until a boy accidentally passes a football to alessia, who starts dribbling the ball fantastically.
the idea is to show how these footballers are stars both on and off the pitch—effortlessly cool, effortlessly themselves.
you’re on the camera for the attention, the familiarity of many people seeing one of their favorite actresses on screen.
as the cameras roll, you find yourself struggling to stay in character—not because you're nervous, but because you're genuinely awestruck.
alessia makes it all look so easy. she maneuvers the ball around her feet effortlessly, as if it’s a natural extension of her body, and at one point, she jumps up and crosses her legs to move the ball up in a seamless move.
the crew claps and cheers after the director says cut, and you have to remind yourself to look casual, to pretend like this is something you see every day.
"you okay there?" alessia whispers when you find yourself staring for a second too long.
"yeah, totally," you reply, trying to play it off. "just, you know, impressed. you're kind of amazing."
“kind of?” she teases, raising an eyebrow. “i’ll take that, i guess.”
you both laugh, and the rest of the shoot continues with an easy flow.
the chemistry between you translates on camera, and the director nods approvingly after each take.
by the time you wrap for the day, you're already regretting that it has to end so soon.
as everyone’s packing up, alessia walks over to you, her expression a mix of mischief and curiosity.
“hey, i know you’re busy with your job but... do you have any plans while you're here in london?”
“not really,” you say, glancing down as you fidget with your hands.
“i have some interviews coming up in new york soon, but other than that, i’m kind of free.”
“oh,” she says, her voice light but her eyes steady on yours.
“how about we grab dinner tonight? there’s this great italian spot not too far from here—i thought it might be nice to hang out without all of the chaos.”
you don’t even have to think about it. “yeah, i’d like that a lot.”
later that evening, alessia takes you to a cozy restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of london.
it’s intimate, dimly lit, with exposed brick walls and a menu that makes your mouth water the second you open it. the conversation flows easily—surprisingly easily—and you talk about everything from football and acting to travel, family, and your favorite shows outside of the ones you’ve been in.
it feels like you’ve known each other for longer than a day.
“so, you travel a lot for work,” alessia says at one point, sipping on her lemon water.
“ever get tired of it?”
“sometimes,” you admit.
“but it’s also kind of amazing. i mean, many people would do anything for the opportunities that i’ve been given—like getting to meet people like you for example.”
alessia laughs softly, shaking her head. “you’re flattering me.”
“maybe,” you say with a playful smile, “but it’s the truth.”
alessia leans back in her chair, and there’s a look in her eyes you can't quite place—somewhere between admiration and something deeper, something that makes your stomach flip.
“you know, you’re not what i expected,” she says, voice gentle but sincere.
“what do you mean?” you ask, genuinely curious.
“i don’t know, someone... a little more hollywood, i guess?” she shrugs.
“i get it. luckily i’m not from hollywood, i am from new york.” you smile.
“that’s nice to hear.” alessia giggles.
the conversation continues late into the night, and by the time you both walk out into the cool london air, you’re standing a little closer than necessary, arms brushing as you make your way down the street.
she walks you back to your hotel, and when you say goodnight, there’s a moment—a heartbeat of silence—where you both just look at each other, and you feel it.
something more than just a bond that was formed in one night.
“goodnight, y/n,” she says softly, lingering for just a second before turning to leave.
“goodnight, alessia,” you reply, watching her walk away, already replaying the night in your head.
the next few days fly by in a blur of filming and hanging out with alessia whenever you can.
you text constantly, even when you're both too busy. a couple of weeks later you’re in new york city with castmates on your show– and alessia is with arsenal finishing the season.
she sends quick messages between training, silly selfies with her teammates, and voice notes that make you smile every time you listen to them.
it’s not long before you’re both sharing pieces of yourselves you don’t usually let others see.
when alessia heads off to the women's world cup with england, you don’t expect to miss her as much as you do.
you haven’t seen her since that night in london. her messages get shorter, more sporadic as the competition heats up, and while you understand—she’s busy, focused—you can’t help but wish you were there to cheer her on in person.
and then, one day, you get a text from her:
wish you could be here. can't wait to see you soon!
your heart skips a beat, and without thinking, you open your laptop, check your schedule, and find a two-week window.
before you can second-guess yourself, you’re booking a flight to australia.
when you finally arrive in australia, the world cup is in full swing.
the streets are filled with fans, the excitement is in the air, and you find yourself caught up in the energy.
on the day of the final, you’re practically buzzing with nerves and anticipation. you dragged one of your castmates to come with you across the globe, just to see alessia live.
you find your seat, your heart pounding as you look out over the pitch.
when alessia takes the field, you can’t stop grinning. you cheer loudly, the sound almost getting lost in the roar of the crowd, but you know she hears you—somehow, you just know.
the match is intense, every pass and tackle pulling you deeper in. but as the final whistle blows, it’s spain who takes the victory, and the stadium is filled with a mix of cheers and groans.
your heart sinks as you watch alessia’s face fall, the disappointment clear in her expression.
as england’s players walk off the pitch, heads hung low, you feel helpless, wanting nothing more than to comfort her.
you’re not sure if she’s even seen you in the stands, and you hesitate, unsure of what to do.
then, you see leah, one of her teammates that became one of your favorites, give alessia a nudge and nod in your direction.
alessia looks up, scanning the crowd until her eyes land on you. for a moment, she’s still, and then she’s moving—walking quickly toward you, her face a mixture of surprise, relief, and something that looks like hope.
before you know it, she’s right in front of you, and you’re pulling her into your arms, holding her tight as she buries her face in your shoulder.
“i’m so proud of you,” you whisper, your voice barely audible over the noise of the crowd.
“you were amazing.”
she lets out a shaky breath, holding you close. “i didn’t expect to see you here.”
“well, i couldn’t let you play in a world cup final without me,” you say, smiling softly as you pull back just enough to look into her eyes.
“win or lose, i’m here for you.”
alessia’s eyes soften, and for a moment, the weight of the loss seems to lift. she cups your cheek with her hand, her thumb gently brushing against your skin, and you lean into the touch, your heart swelling with something warm and undeniable.
“thank you,” she whispers, her voice filled with emotion. and as the noise of the stadium fades into the background, all that matters is this—being here with her.
“maybe i can stay in london for a while, to make you feel better if thats okay?” you hug her again, holding her knowing that the world cup loss is still in her mind.
“that is more than okay, y/n.”

Bees land on the prettiest flowers (Lia Wälti x reader)
A/N: A Lia fic? You’re just a surprised as I am. Also, 10 points to the first person that can tell what tv show a scene in the fic is from.
After the rush of the summer that was the World Cup and the devastation that came with crashing out the champions league before it even began, you found the air around Adidas' HQ in Germany quite refreshing. It would be your home for the next couple of weeks as you and the rest of the team focus on preparing for the upcoming season.
You had a plan this year, one which you was determined to follow if you stayed healthy. Something that wasn't part of this plan was Lia Walti.
The swiss woman caught your eye the moment she step foot in Colney yet despite the encouragement you got from your team mates and the urge to ask her out, you couldn't, in fact you would go so far as to say you bailed at every opportunity. By the time you were ready it was too late because she started dating Caitlin and you knew you couldn't let your selfishness get in the way of her happiness. It’s why you put Lia in the what if box in your head and sealed it shut. Only now the light started to shine through the box and the reason for that was because Lia and Caitlin had broken up.
It seemed that the higher powers had given you another chance but a lot had changed over the past couple of years. You and your heart wasn't the same and you weren't sure if you were ready to care about someone on a deep level.
A knock on the door brought you out of your daydreaming and as you opened it you saw Lia stood on the other side with a nervous expression on her face.
"Hello you, come in" you step aside allowing enough space for the Swiss to enter.
"Actually I was hoping you'd come out"
You both knew what she meant but the way she phrased it causes you both to burst into laughter. Once you both catch you breath Lia rephrases her sentence.
"Would you like to go for a walk with me?" Lia asks still standing on the threshold.
Her intentions wasn’t clear but you couldn’t turn down one on one time with her. The feelings that you once felt were still there, they were simply buried down deep.
“Sure, let me grab a hoodie and we’ll go”
“There’s no need for a hoodie. I haven’t got one”
That she hadn’t. Lia was dress is a pair of sweatshorts and a tank top. If her attire was anything to go by then it was a nice evening outside.
The weather was perfect. Not too warm but not too hot. The sky was pink but turning into a burnt orange and here you were with one of the most beautiful girls you have ever met. It made you wonder what you did in your past life that allowed to have a moment like this.
You walked past the pool saying hi the players that were watching a movie. Those on the loungers knew better than to tease you so they left you be but made a mental note to ask you about it later.
You knew Lia well almost too well because as you walked you saw her chest rise and fall but it would hitch before it falls, she was hesitating. Another tell of this was the way she opened and closed her mouth unaware that you could see the action out the corner of your eye.
It is when you walked through the perfectly maintained garden area that you decide to confront her about it. You could smell the fresh roses and you got distracted by the bright colours of each flower but it only lasted a second then your attention returns to Lia.
“What going on that head of yours?” You ask as you both stand admiring the lilies.
Lia is about to respond but the buzzing of a bee causes you to freeze. Your heartbeat doubles in pace as you watch the yellow and black insect land on her exposed chest.
“Don’t move. Stand still” you beg her.
“Y/N, what are you doing?”
Lia follows your eyes which are fixed on her chest. There she sees the reason for you concern yet she doesn’t have the same response. This alone lets her swat away the bee with no hesitation.
“No! Don’t do that” the desperation in your voice and the panic in your eyes scares Lia more than the possibility of a bee sting.
“It’s only a bee”
Lia’s actions had clearly agitated the insect and you hear a buzz at a high volume before it flew away.
“Ow” Lia says calmly.
“Are you ok? Can you breathe?” You asked her but it was your shortness of breathe that was an issue.
“It’s only a sting”
“Are you sure?”
Fear consumes you as memories of the past flood your mind. Your chest feels like it’s on fire and you try and fail to bring your breathing back to a steady pace.
Lia can tell immediately that something is very wrong. In hopes of calming you down she takes your hand and holds it over the sting on her chest. She then takes her own hand holds it over your chest. It forms a connection between the two of you.
“I’m ok Y/N. It’s just a bee”
“Don’t say that!” Your concern was replaced with anger because Lia refused to see the severity of the situation “go get checked out by the doctor. Now”
You felt helpless and you knew you were no longer in control of your emotions. You needed to leave even if your heart wanted to stay with Lia.
The Swiss had no option other than to watch you walk away. She wanted to go after you but your words are loud in her head. She knew it was best for her to go see the team doctor.
As she walked back into the facility, Lia tried to make sense of your reaction. Never had she seen you react like that and even though she saw it first hand she could believe it herself.
“Did you enjoy your date?” Beth teases.
“It wasn’t a date. I just wanted some alone time with Y/N” Lia corrects the blonde forward.
“Isn’t that the definition of a date?” Jen adds.
“It doesn’t matter now. She ran off and left me by the flower beds”
This made no sense to anyone at the table especially the two blondes who you play with on the national team with.
“What happened?” Leah asks.
“We went for a walk and ended up in the gardens. I was nervous, she picked up on it and I thought she was going to ask me about it but then there was a bee and she freaked out. I think she was having a panic attack and it only got worse when it stung me”
“You got stung by a bee while Y/N was next to you?” Beth asked. She made eye contact with Leah who nodded her head, the defender would go check on you whilst Beth made sure the Lia was ok.
Leah stood in front of your door taking a couple of seconds to figure out how to handle the situation. She remembers the moment you showed up on her doorstep and went on to tell her that you had just experienced the worst day of your life.
She used her room key given that you were sharing for the trip and the sight she is met with isn’t one she could prepare for. You are laid on your bed in a fetus position. Your eyes are dry but the puffiness in your face told Leah that you had been crying.
“Y/N” she speaks in a hushed tone.
“Lia’s going to die, isn’t she?”
To anyone outside your immediate family that which included a handful of your England team mates, they would have called you dramatic. Leah was one of the select few which understand why your mind went to worse case scenario.
“She’s fine”
“I thought my dad was fine next thing I know I had these two fingers on his neck trying to find a pulse” you hold up middle and index finger.
“Y/N what happened to your dad was devastating. Nobody knew he was allergic”
“And you don’t know that Lia isn’t. I was the reason my dad died and now I’m going to be the reason she dies”
“It’s wasn’t your fault” Leah sit nexts to you on the bed “As for Lia, she is ok. She came back in to us and was going to see the doctor. Something that I’m guessing was your idea”
You nod your head. Your worrying stopped for a mere second knowing that Lia had listened to you and was hopefully getting the help she needed.
“Y/N you like Lia and have done for a while. You told her to go see the doctor but didn’t go with her, why?”
“I didn’t want to see her in pain”
“She isn’t in pain. Come with me and I’ll show you. We don’t have to talk to anyone but you need to see with your own eyes that she is ok”
Reluctantly, you agree and follow Leah through the halls of the HQ. Each step you take feels heavier than the last because in your mind you have seen how this story ends and you don’t want to see it, not again. So you took your time, you pretended to check in every room that you passed even though the blonde beside you knew exactly where the Swiss was.
Turns out Lia was in the exact same position as when Leah left her only now she has a white patch where the bee had stung her and she had some company. Out of the players one stood out to you; Caitlin.
You and Leah stood at the entry way. Just as Leah was about to walk towards the table you pulled her back.
“What? She’s fine, look” Leah tried to pull you towards your team mates despite her prior statement about not talking to anyone.
“She’s fine — with Caitlin” you could see Lia was ok but you couldn’t bring your self to watch her interact with the Aussie even if they were no longer together.
Knowing that Lia wasn’t going to face the same fate as your father lifted the crushing weight off your chest. You walked with no destination in mind. You didn’t want to go back to your room so you settle on a sun lounger by the pool. A staff member asking if you want to play the next movie the team had lined up and you saw no reason not to; a movie by the pool didn’t sound too bad.
Pitch perfect played but whilst your eyes were glued to the project screen, your mind felt like it was a million miles away. That is until you see a shadow cast over the lounger you were sitting on.
“Do you mind if I sit?” Lia asks.
You had chose a double lounger so you didn’t have an excuse not let her.
“Ok” your voice is quiet and although you don’t turn to face her, you do pat the side next to you.
The two of you watch the movie. The only sound to be heard is when you both laugh at the same part.
“Are you really ok?” You ask, still with your eyes on the screen.
“I am. Thank you for making me getting checked out, I wish you would have come with me”
When you turn you see that Lia is already looking in your direction.
“I — I”
“You were mad at me” Lia thinks she is finishing your sentence and but you been mad at her wasn’t the issue.
“I was scared” you take a pause because you know the only way for Lia to understand your reaction is for you to explain why seeing her get stung by a bee worried you so much “My dad was stung by a bee”
“And he was ok” Lia said, always the optimist.
“He went into anaphylactic shock. I didn’t know what to do and by the time I did it was too late. He died in the botanical gardens near my house”
“Y/N I didn’t know. Is that why you panicked? Because you thought the same thing that happened to your dad was going to happen to me?”
You can only nod. The admission itself brings back the worry that you had only just managed to settle.
In a similar way to how she did in the gardens, Lia reaches for your hand and places it over the patch. She pulls it a little so that you weight shift and your head in now resting on her shoulder.
“I’m ok. I went to the doctor, he asked me a couple of questions, cleaned the sting and gave me the all clear”
Silence yet again becomes the third wheel to the movie night you are Lia are accidentally having.
“I don’t want to lose you. It’s already happened once and now I’m just getting you back” you admit.
“Y/N I’m not going anywhere. There’s a reason why I wanted to take a walk with you, why I wanted to spend time with you and only you”
“Because you want us to be friends, like we were before”
“I never wanted us to be friends. Life got in the way and I spent too much time loving the wrong person when I knew she wasn’t the one I wanted to be with”
You knew what she was insinuating, the context wasn’t hard to decrypt.
“Am I that one?” You needed to hear her say it so that you knew this moment wasn’t a dream.
“You are but I know now more than ever that your heart is still healing so we’ll go at your pace”
How do you reply to that without opening an emotional can of worms? After thinking for a few seconds you decide not to say anything at all. Instead you turn deeper into her so that your head is resting on her chest, close enough so that you can hear her heart beat, her healthy heart beat.

a/n: anon(s)! baby fic is here!! apologies for the wait but it’s long and i hope it’s worth it ☺️ honestly this fic feels like total chaos but i kind of love the vibes. not too much to say other than this was fun to write and i think we’re done on svechnikov baby birth fics lol
word count: 6.4k
tw: mentions of labor, brief innuendo, post partum anxiety (not diagnosed in fic)
summary: it’s time for baby svechnikov number four to make their entrance into the world and of course it’s chaos in the best possible way
“Mama!” Alina shrieks for your attention and your heart skips a beat at her volume, mild fight or flight kicking in before you catch sight of her in the doorway and see that she’s fine.
“Christ,” you mutter to yourself, heartbeat returning to normal. The baby gives a violent kick to your kidney and you wince. “Sorry, bub,” you pat the side of your stomach, “that hit of adrenaline couldn’t have been fun.”
Alina shouts for you again and you level her with a stern look, “hey, what did Mama tell you about shouting like that?”
You’re too pregnant to be gentle parenting, but if you don’t remind Alina about her indoor voice, she’ll just run rampant over the next few months while you’re completely distracted with the new baby. She shuffles her feet and pulls at the little ruffles on the sides of her bathing suit.
“No shoutin’ unless someone’s bleeding or really, really sick,” she sighs and when you nod, she perks up with a toothy little grin. “But I had to shout ‘cause Papa says your frone is ready!”
“My frone?” You repeat, brows scrunched together in confusion. You repeat the word a few times under your breath until it clicks. “Oh! My throne?”
Alina nods and does a little wiggle, bouncing on her feet. “Come on, mama! We wanna show you!” She’s definitely still shouting, but your middle daughter has never understood the concept of an inside voice.
You smile at her and laugh, “okay, mama’s coming, Alya. Remember I’m very slow.” You brace one hand at your lower back, the other hand rubbing at the side of your distended belly. As scary as it is, you’re glad that you’re being induced tomorrow - your entire body is sore and your back and hips are killing you from carrying around this giant Svechnikov baby. Your actual due date isn’t for another week, but since baby’s measuring so big, your ob/gyn made the call for a scheduled induction.
“Mama’s like a tuuuurtle,” she grins slyly, skipping back to the yard and leaving you shaking your head.
As soon as you get to the back door, you can feel the mid-August Raleigh heat and humidity, sweat already prickling at your hairline and armpits. You frown, already uncomfortable and not really in the mood to go outside. Leaving the air conditioning is going to be miserable, but the girls were begging you to join them and Andrei outside, so how could you resist. You scrape your hair back into a knot on top of your head, trying to keep as much of it off your neck as possible. Little pieces fall out anyway and curl with the humidity.
You wedge your feet into the pair of Adidas slides at the back door and step carefully over the lip onto the back patio. The heat hits instantly and you frown, cranky. The baby jabs an elbow into your side and you wince - there’s absolutely no room left in your stomach and every time the baby moves, you’re painfully reminded of that. You hadn’t even realized your stomach could stretch this much, but baby number four is testing the limits.
“Maaaaamaaaaa!” Alina and Kira shriek for you in stereo and you wave from the door, reluctant to go outside into the heat.
“Mama’s coming,” you call back, bracing a hand under the curve of your belly and waddling farther out onto the patio. The air feels like soup and you have no idea how Andrei and the girls are so energetic. Before you can make it a handful of feet, Andrei’s at your side, kissing your temple and wrapping an arm around your waist. “Hi,” you murmur.
“Hi,” he smiles down at you, looking a little tired. His face is bright pink too, which you had warned him would happen. “Off to your throne, solnyshka.”
You let him guide you over the grass, avoiding the lawn toys and stray Barbie dolls that litter the ground. You’re perfectly capable of walking on your own, but it’s nice to lean your weight against Andrei’s side and have him help you. “Did you reapply sunscreen?” You ask, knowing the answer. Besides his face, his shoulders, chest, and arms are all tinged pink too.
He wrinkles his face at you. “I think once? I’m fine,” he shrugs and stops in front of your throne.
It’s one of your beach chairs settled in front of the girls’ old baby pool, an umbrella stuck in the grass behind the chair.
You grin at Andrei as the girls sprint up and dance around you.
“Do you love it, Mom?” Evie bounces excitedly on her toes. “That way you can watch us play!”
“I love it!” You cup Evie’s cheek in one hand, ruffling Alina’s hair with the other. “This is the best throne ever, you guys are making me feel so special.”
“Only the best for our koroleva,” Andrei winks at you, hoisting Kira up onto his hip when she starts tugging at the hem of his swim trunks. She grins her little toddler grin at you and then whispers in Andrei’s ear, a chubby little hand splayed on his cheek. He nods seriously and says, “yes, Mama will watch you go down the slide.”
You laugh and lower yourself into the chair, your lower back popping and protesting. A little groan slips past your lips and all four of your watchdogs whip their heads in your direction. The girls have wide eyed looks on their faces and you offer up a comforting smile, “sorry, girls. Mama’s okay, remember it’s hard for me to sit so low.”
A brief bout of Braxton Hicks two weeks earlier had taken you by surprise and your startled yelp and the way you had doubled over from the shock had scared the girls a little, so they’re insanely keyed into any weird noise you make lately.
“Why don’t you get Mama’s drink?” Andrei sets Kira back on her feet and nudges the three of them off with his hands. After they skip off, Andrei helps you swing your legs up and over so your feet kick in the cool water in the baby pool.
You sigh happily, dropping your head back, “oh god, that feels good. It’s hotter than Satan’s ass crack out here.”
The baby kicks, the outline of a little foot visible through the taut skin on your stomach, as if agreeing with you.
Andrei scratches at his jaw, rasping his fingers through a couple of days’ worth of stubble. “It’s not so bad, when you have the girls spraying you with the hose every two minutes,” he laughs a little, squatting down next to you and shaking his head so stray droplets of water fly off of his hair. Your face crinkles up and you swat at him, giggling. He taps at the side of your stomach, hand warm against your skin. “The little one is behaving?”
“In the loosest sense of the word,” you sigh, shifting in the chair, trying to get comfortable. “I’m kind of ready to get my lung capacity back.”
His hands stroke over the swell of your stomach, the baby’s arms and legs following Andrei’s touch. You pluck at the white linen fabric of your dress where it’s stuck to your skin with sweat, regretting the choice of clothing. “Tell me when you want to go inside,” Andrei says. “Girls will be fine if you’re not watching the water war.”
You hum, swishing your feet in the water. “A little vitamin D is probably good for me,” your smirk matches Andrei’s when the double entendre is out in the air. It’s been a minute since you had Andrei inside of you, too uncomfortable for the exertion, and you miss having him that way. The horny days of your second trimester are long in the rearview mirror.
Before he can say anything, the girls come running from the house, ice rattling around in the Stanley that Evie’s got clutched in her arms. You grin at the sight - your oldest leading the charge with her younger sisters following dutifully behind. Evie unceremoniously drops the cup on your lap with a chirpy, “here, Mama! Daddy even added lemon for you.”
“Oh, my favorite,” you reach out to tug on one of Evie’s braided pigtails and she beams at you before dancing away, Alina hot on her heels. Kira presses her little body up against your thigh and looks at you with puppy eyes. “What’s the matter, Kiry?”
“I have?” She asks, pointing at your Stanley.
You nod and hold the cup out for her, straw pointed in her direction. She plants her hands on the metal and chews a little on the straw while she sucks back more water than you expected. Andrei laughs a little when she gulps down the water, releasing the straw with a heavy sigh and then runs off, shrieking for her sisters.
“Adding another one to this chaos is going to be wild,” he comments, leaning back and splashing his hand in the pool water, hitting your shins with little droplets.
“Poor number four is either going to be the loudest to be heard or the quietest with three big sisters talking for them,” you giggle, tracing your fingers over the engraved 37 on the Stanley - the WAG Christmas gift that keeps on giving. You get a particularly painful kick to the ribs and wince, muttering, “maybe that first option.”
“Dadddeeeeeee!” A trio of shrieks echo across the yard, the girls calling for Andrei to rejoin them. He stands up and presses a kiss to the crown of your head.
“Duty calls,” he gives you a little salute and jogs off, leaving you to enjoy the way his ass fills out his bathing suit. It’s a view that never gets old, but even better is watching Andrei chase the girls around and play with them, matching grins on all four of their faces. He chases them through the sprinklers - if those have been on all morning, your water bill is going to be through the roof - and lets them splash him, pretending to get scared. He watches while the two older girls clamber up the side of the small inflatable water slide you’d ordered back in June when it was obvious that the majority of the summer was going to be spent in Raleigh, with the girls running loose in the backyard.
Kira stays at the bottom, in the splash zone, shrieking happily when Evie and Alina zip down the slide and hit her with water.
It’s honestly the best thing you’ve ever bought - the Nečas kids have been over for play dates at least once a week to run wild in the water and you’ve had a ton of the other guys and their families over for barbecues and parties. Now, you’re just glad it’ll keep your girls occupied while you relax.
After you’ve been outside for an hour or so, you call them all back so you and Andrei can reapply sunscreen to the girls’ pink little faces and shoulders. Andrei gets his own healthy dose of sunscreen, even though it’s too late for him to avoid the sunburn on his face, chest, and shoulders. You make a mental note to throw a bottle of aloe into the fridge when you get inside.
“I hate this, Mama!” Alina whines, bouncing from foot to foot while you try to cover her face in Baby Coppertone. “It’s yucky and sticky and I don’t want it!”
“If you don’t let me reapply,” you huff, out of breath from trying to keep her still between your knees and your severely diminished lung capacity, “your skin is going to turn pink and hurt.”
“I want pink skiiiin!” Alina howls, dodging your sunscreen covered hands and running off, her face a little mask of white from the lotion you hadn’t been able to rub in properly. She disappears into the playhouse and you roll your eyes, giving up completely. You’re too exhausted to fight her and tomorrow’s sunburn will be a problem for the babysitting grandparents while you push out the bowling ball baby laying on your bladder.
Behind you, Andrei laughs and teases you, “just like her Mama, that one.”
“Absolutely not,” you grumble, holding out your hands to him so he can pull you to your feet. “I’m literally so quiet and agreeable.”
“Maybe when you’re sleeping,” Andrei scoffs, helping you step out of the pool. His palm finds the side of your stomach like a magnet, fingers spread over the swell protectively. “Otherwise, you’re stubborn like a bull.” He pauses, smirks. “And loud.”
“You’re terrible,” you mutter, waddling as fast as you can to the bathroom. “Bullying the woman who’s carrying your fourth giant baby.”
Andrei’s voice carries through the bathroom door as you shut it behind you, “this is only the second big baby! The other two were normal sized.”
Later, when it’s far past your bedtime and you still can’t sleep with excitement and nerves swirling low in your belly, you whisper into the dark of your bedroom, “Drei? Are you awake?”
It takes a second, but eventually he replies, “depends.”
“On what?” You reply quietly, shifting and bending your leg so you can open up your hip a little and relieve some of the uncomfortableness. Kira curls closer to you, one arm draped over your stomach, the thumb of her other hand wedged firmly in between her lips. She looks even more like a baby while she sleeps, long eyelashes fluttering against the tops of her cheeks, and you start to feel emotion clogging your throat. Her last night of being the family’s baby. You hadn’t had the heart to put her back in her own bed when she came wandering in a few hours ago.
“On what you need from me,” Andrei’s voice is clouded with sleep, but you see and feel him roll onto his side so he’s facing you.
You stick your tongue out at him lightly. “Last night as a family of five,” you murmur. “Any final guesses - fourth girl or first boy?”
“Girl,” Andrei replies on a yawn, reaching his hand out and over Kira to rub at your belly. “Belly looks the same as it did with all three, just bigger.”
He’s not wrong, but, “agreed. But only because I think my nose spread out again like with the girls.”
“You’re just as beautiful as always,” Andrei says.“Your nose looks the same too.”
You’re convinced he’s lying, but there’s no point in arguing now.
“Think we’ll see bub tomorrow or will it be a couple of days?” You yawn, exhausted but wired. You can’t decide if you have to pee or if it’s just the pressure of the baby.
“Tomorrow,” Andrei laughs a little, “if the kid knows what’s good for her.”
You yawn again and Andrei tells you to get some rest, “it’s going to be a busy few days, solnyshka.”
Somehow you manage to fall asleep and then it’s induction day, a hectic morning consisting of four grandparents showing up and three little girls bouncing around asking if their baby is coming yet. You’re overwhelmed by the time Andrei helps you into the passenger seat of the Navigator, kissing you gently.
“Calm, my love,” he murmurs against your lips, rubbing at your stomach. “We know what to do, right?”
You nod, “right.” Wrapping your fingers in the neck of his t-shirt, you tug Andrei back in for another kiss. “Let’s go have a baby!”
Twelve hours later, you’re dripping in sweat, contractions gripping your stomach every thirty seconds with regularity. Andrei’s eaten lunch, dinner, and then a second dinner around 8:30. You, on the other hand, are on your ninth cup of ice chips and are dying for something that will actually fill you up.
You hold out your hand for Andrei’s when another contraction starts and he lets you crunch his fingers together while you breathe through it. “More ice?” He asks, brushing frizzy, damp strands of hair off your forehead.
“No,” you huff, slumping back against the pillows. “I never want to see an ice chip again. The second this kid pops out, I need you to get me a party platter of sushi, I don’t care what time it is.”
Andrei laughs and promises that he’ll get you whatever you want.
After that, it’s a blur. The contractions are nonstop, your ob/gyn between your legs encouraging you to push, and Andrei’s arm braced around your upper back to give you some leverage.
“Okay, I see some hair,” your doctor says. “Big head, but one push and it should be out. Then we’ve got a baby!”
Andrei murmurs encouraging words in your ear that you barely hear over the rush of blood in your head and the guttural scream that forces out of your throat. You scream and cry and there’s pressure and then release as the baby slides out.
You’re allowed to slump back against the pillows, tears streaming down your face while you crane your neck to see the baby, “is the baby healthy? Is she okay?”
“He’s just perfect,” your doctor beams, holding the baby up. “It’s a boy, mom and dad!”
Her words sink in and you start sobbing - a little boy!
Your husband’s big hand is cradled over your head and the baby’s on your chest, bloody and scrunched up and crying. Your own hands automatically come up to cradle him, your lips pressing against the top of his head. “A boy! Oh my god, Drei, a little boy,” you sob to him, laughing into Andrei’s mouth when he kisses you.
“I’m so proud of you,” he says shakily, his cheeks wet. “A son. Solnyshka, thank you. He’s - thank you. Fuck, I love you so much.”
Andrei’s hand comes up to cover yours on the baby’s back and you’re jolted by how warm his hand is compared to yours, you’re shaking and freezing, but all you can focus on is how happy you are.
The baby’s cries taper off and he nuzzles against your chest, your heart melting at how perfect and adorable he is.
“He looks like the girls,” Andrei comments, unable to stop staring. His fingers stroke over the baby’s back, your own trembling with the adrenaline come down.
You laugh. “They all look like you, babe. My genes never stood a chance,” you can’t stop smiling, pressing your lips all over the baby’s head. He’s so warm against your chest.
You’re not sure how long you get to keep the baby on your chest, but the next thing you know, you’re in recovery, dozing while you watch Andrei hold his son. The baby is a big one, like you’d expected, weighing in at a sold nine pounds, eleven ounces. Your entire lower body is still throbbing with pain, but it’s all so worth it to see Andrei with the baby cradled in his arms.
“Four kids and I still can’t believe he’s real,” Andrei chuckles hoarsely, gazing down at the baby with shiny eyes.
“Oh, I can believe it,” you reply dryly, shifting with a wince. “I feel like we should’ve been more prepared with boy names.”
You’d run through the list of the few that you had liked, but none seem right. His middle name will be for Andrei, but the first name is stumping you both.
“We’ll figure it out,” Andrei looks up at you with a grin. “I love you so much, I said that, right?”
“Several times,” you hold out your arms and wiggle your fingers at him. “Give me back my baby, Drei.”
Andrei transfers the baby to you with the ease of a practiced parent, taking a seat on the edge of your bed. You’re both exhausted and it’s so early in the morning the sun isn’t even up yet. You’ll have to pass out soon, but right now you can’t get enough of the infant. He looks so much smaller when he was in Andrei’s arms. You trace over the slope of his nose with the tip of your index finger, seeing so much of the girls and Andrei in his features. “You sure you don’t want to name him after your dad?” You ask, double checking.
“No, no,” Andrei shakes his head. “Geno has that covered. Besides,” his lips twist up in an impish little smile, “Igor’s not my favorite name.”
You know he’s thinking about the Canes’ most recent loss to the Rangers in the second round of the playoffs. The Rangers getting swept in the ECF had been extremely satisfying in your house.
You giggle a little and watch as the baby yawns. He’s been quiet, sleeping on and off, so much more peaceful than his older sisters. “Okay, I get it. You know, my grandfather, his name was Demetrius. A few letter changes…Dimitri?”
Andrei’s knuckle brushes against the soft pudge of the baby’s cheeks and murmurs the name. “Dimitri,” it sounds so different, so much better in his accent, “Dimka.”
He yawns in your arms and it feels like something clicks into place in your chest. You nod at Andrei, “that’s it. That’s his name.”
“Dimitri Andreievich,” Andrei laughs as he says the name. “Big name for a little boy.”
“He’s almost ten pounds,” you scoff. “This is a gift from the Big Boy genes, oh husband of mine.”
He smirks at you, leaning in for a kiss and your poor battered vagina gives a weak throb of pain. It’s too soon for him to be this adorable.
After a solid three hours of sleep, broken up once so you can try feeding Dimitri, you start pestering Andrei for your sushi. It’s nearing eight in the morning on the nineteenth, making it nearly twenty-four hours since you had breakfast with the girls before coming to the hospital.
“What about anything else?” He frowns at you. “Sushi for breakfast is…” He trails off, wrinkling his face in disgust.
With the baby latched to a nipple, you pout at him. “Did I or did I not push your giant child out of my body?” You pause to inhale and then continue, “And! Since it was already this morning before someone thought to feed me, all I’ve eaten in twenty four hours is ice chips and a peanut butter sandwich. I am starving!”
Andrei laughs at you, but before he can answer, gets distracted by his phone vibrating in his pocket. It’s probably Elena, looking for an update since you hadn’t called anyone in the early hours after Dimitri had been born, exhausted and looking to soak in the time as a trio. You turn your attention to the baby while Andrei chats in Russian on the phone. He hangs up and sits down on the edge of the bed, wrapping his hand around your knee. “Mama says the girls are going wild, waiting to hear about their new baby,” he grins toothily. “Can sushi wait? I think maybe I’ll go get the girls to introduce them to their brother.”
“Natives are restless?” You ask, the guilt of being away from the girls, even for a day, even to literally give birth, starting to creep in. Tears well in your eyes and you don’t bother to do anything about it, knowing you’re going to be a weepy mess for the foreseeable future. “How do you feel about meeting the big sisters, D?”
Dimitri lets out a soft little baby squeak and you give Andrei a watery grin. “I think he likes that plan. Bring me my girls.”
In the time that Andrei’s gone, Dimitri naps in his little plastic bassinet and you get helped into the bathroom by your nurse, ready to sit with the girls as long as their attention spans can handle it. You brush your hair back into a neater braid and wash your face clean of sweat. By the time that Andrei texts that he’s parking, you feel a little more human.
You can hear little footsteps running down the hall and you rub a hand over Dimitri’s belly, “get ready for Hurricane Svechnikova, bub.”
“Mama!” Evie bursts through the door first, hair in two pigtails on the top of her head and a bright red tutu around her waist. You beam at the sight of her and open your arms.
“Hi, bunny,” you coo, emotions clogging up your throat. “Come give me a hug!”
She dances over to your side and clambers up on the bed, nearly smacking you in the face with a piece of construction paper and jostling you a little painfully. You wrap her up in a tight hug, inhaling her little-kid scent of markers and Johnson and Johnson shampoo. Over her shoulder, you see Alina skip into the room and you hold open one arm.
“My Alya,” you grin. “Come join Mama.”
She’s in a Canes giveaway t-shirt that you’d cut down so it wasn’t a literal dress on her and you briefly wonder how wild they were being if this is how they ended up dressed. Alina needs a little help getting up on the bed and as Evie is pulling at the back of her shirt, Andrei appears at the door, Kira on his hip and an exasperated frown on his face.
“Didn’t Papa tell you not to run?” He raises an eyebrow at the older girls cuddled against your sides.
“We missed Mama,” Evie replies, pouting. You smooth a hand over her hair and shake your head at Andrei. They don’t need a parenting moment right now. Kira wiggles in his arms and reaches for you until Andrei relents and settles her on your lap in a way that doesn’t cause you pain. None of the girls have even so much as looked at the baby, but you’re not rushing them, knowing it’s a big change for them.
Andrei settles on the little couch while the girls fill you in on all the fun they had with the grandparents yesterday. They make Andrei bring you the bag of pictures they drew for you and the baby and that seems to trigger them. “Oh! Wait, Mama,” Evie perks up and looks around, “where’s the baby?”
You laugh and point at the plastic bassinet, “your little brother is right there. Just waiting to meet you three.”
Like it was rehearsed, all three of them scramble to the side of the bed to get a good look at Dimitri.
“He’s a boy?” Alina asks, squinting down at him.
“We have a brother? Not a sister?” Evie carefully reaches a hand into the bassinet to touch one of Dimitri’s tiny feet. “I thought it was a sister.”
“Baby!” Kira pats the edge of the plastic. “Baby in Mama’s belly?”
You kiss the back of her head. “Yeah, this is the baby that was in Mama’s tummy. His name is Dimitri.”
Andrei comes over to lift Kira and Alina into his arms so they can get a better look at the baby. “It’s different, right, to have a brother?” He asks, looking at you softly. You know he wouldn’t have cared if the baby were a girl, but there’s something about men and their sons, and you’re beyond happy that you were able to give him that.
“He’s not going to do much for a while,” you say. “But when he gets moving, I bet you’re all going to have a lot of fun.”
“Mmm,” Evie hums thoughtfully. “Boys are kinda yucky.”
“I’m a boy!” Andrei gasps, mock offended. “Am I yucky?”
You shoot him a wicked smile over Evie’s head and mouth ‘filthy’ at him, surprised that you even have it in you to flirt with him. Andrei laughs, his eyes sparkling, and you both nearly miss it when Evie chirps, “yeah, ‘cause sometimes you’re smelly after hockey.”
You snort a laugh and then, sensing that he’s missing some kind of party, Dimitri stirs, making little noises and wiggling his arms and legs. The girls watch, fascinated, and you skirt around Evie so you can pick him up. You glance at the clock on the wall and it’s been close to two and a half hours since you fed him, so he’s probably hungry. He starts to fuss more and the girls look a little disgruntled by the noise, so before they start complaining, you pucker up and plant a smacking kiss to Evie’s cheek, making her giggle. “How about Papa brings you guys back home so you can play and don’t have to watch me change any stinky diapers? Then you can come back later with Nana and Pop and Babu and Dedu? You can introduce them all to your new brother,” you grin, adding more excitement and animation to your tone so they’ll get excited too.
“You’re sure?” Andrei asks, even as your two middle kids are fighting in his arms, chattering at each other over who touched who. He’d scooped them off the bed as soon as Alina started poking at Kira to see how close she could get the former baby of the family to the edge of the bed without pushing her off. The noise they’re making is starting to agitate Dimitri and you’re very sure. Andrei himself looks a little frazzled with the girls practically shrieking in his ears.
“Go ahead,” you widen your eyes at him. “We’ll, ah, we’ll do a little more sibling bonding later in the day. D and I aren’t going anywhere.”
Andrei looks conflicted about leaving you, but honestly, Alina and Kira’s fighting is starting to give you a little bit of a headache. Dimitri is fussing more and you don’t want to start feeding him with the girls in the room because that opens up all the “whys” and “what are you doings” that the girls are so prone to these days.
Evie’s tucked against your side, looking down at the baby. She sighs and looks up at Andrei, “he’s so loud. Let’s come back when he’s quiet.”
Andrei’s mouth tips up in a half smile and you manage a weak laugh, reflexively holding out a hand to guide Evie when she half rolls, half climbs off the bed and beelines for the door. She waves over her shoulder and chirps a blithe, “bye Mommy, bye baby brother.”
“I think she’s expecting you to follow her,” you say to Andrei, a little wide eyed at your oldest’s actions. Securing Dimitri in one arm, you wave the other at the door, “go, please! Before she gets kidnapped!”
“Right, yeah,” Andrei nods and bounces the girls in his arms, “say bye to Mama. We’ll see her later, okay?”
Taking a little break from fighting, Alina and Kira wave at you over Andrei’s shoulders, blowing kisses. You wave back and then practically deflate when the door shuts behind Andrei and you’re left alone with the now opening crying Dimitri. You sigh and get him adjusted on your breast, quieting him immediately. You rub tiredly at your eyes, frustrated and exhausted. Maybe you’d underestimated the chaos four kids are going to be.
Once Dimitri is finished eating, you call for a nurse to bring him back to the nursery so you can get some much needed sleep. “I always feel bad sending them to the nursery,” you confess to the nurse, Jenna. “It makes me feel like a bad mom.”
“Sweetheart,” she laughs warmly, “I saw that husband of yours head out of here with your little girls. Sleep as much as you can before going home to that chaos.”
“They’re usually much better behaved,” you say wryly. “New sibling apparently throws off the routine.”
She tucks Dimitri into a swaddle and says, “oh, they get used to it. You two are old pros at this, so I think you know what you’re doing.”
You smile warily at her, a nervous pit in your stomach that you hadn’t felt after any of the girls’ births. You’re not sure why you feel so unsettled now, raising a boy in the early infancy stage isn’t any different than raising daughters. When Jenna takes Dimitri back to the nursery, you slide down on the bed, pulling the blankets up to your chin and getting as comfortable as possible to take a nap. A few tears leak out of the corners of your eyes, dripping down your temples and into your hair and you take a deep breath. It catches in your throat a little and you hiccup, covering your eyes with a cold, shaky palm.
Somehow, you manage to nap on and off, dozing in that weird limbo where you can hear most of what’s happening around you, but time passes faster than you think. After what feels like two minutes, but is actually closer to two hours, you give up on the nap and find your phone in the mess on the bedside table. You busy yourself with responding to texts and scrolling through social media, zoning out to a video of a woman making homemade pop tarts when Andrei appears at the door.
“Delivery,” he announces, your head shooting up at the sound of his voice. In his hand is an obscenely large paper bag with the name of your favorite sushi place stamped on the side. He catches your gaze and shakes it enticingly. “Husband of the year, yes?”
“If there’s spicy tuna in there, I’ll get the trophy engraved now,” you tease, a small, but genuine smile on your face. Andrei kisses the corner of your mouth and sets the bag on the rolling table.
“Two spicy tuna and plenty of miso soup,” he promises, sitting down on the mattress and helping you unpack the plastic containers.
You rub your chopsticks together and ask, “how are the girls? Everything okay at home?”
Andrei’s in different clothes than when he left and he smells like soap and cologne, so you know he at least showered when he got home.
“They’re good, don’t worry about them,” he reassures you, passing over a container of seaweed salad. “Kir was down for a nap when I left and our moms were playing Barbies with the older two.”
You nod, poking at the seaweed with a lazy motion. Andrei’s gaze is steady on your bent head, you can feel his eyes studying you and so you eat a mouthful of the seaweed, chewing slowly. As hungry as you had been earlier, it’s hard to swallow now. Andrei’s knee bumps yours and you look up at him, worried brown eyes on yours.
“What’s going on, solnyshka? Are you okay?” He ducks his head so he can maintain eye contact. One of his hands comes up and cups your cheek. You lean into his touch and shrug.
“I’m okay,” you sigh. “Just…”
Andrei’s quiet while you try and find the words. You’re not even sure what you’re feeling, why you’re so overly emotional.
“I missed the girls,” you say quietly. “But, four kids? It just…this isn’t going to be easy at all, Drei. They all started chattering and Dimitri was crying and I just wanted to cry too.”
“He’s not even a day old,” Andrei says gently. “It’s okay you’re emotional. I’ll tell you a secret,” he laughs under his breath, “I cried in the car when I went to get the girls.”
“Yeah?” You raise an eyebrow, setting your chopsticks down. Andrei’s not usually one to admit to crying.
“Yeah,” he nods. “Probably more because we have a son, but still. I cried.” Andrei winks at you, smiling warmly.
A little laugh slips past your lips and you tug at the end of your braid. “I think I’ll be okay once I get into a routine. But I’m glad the moms are staying until the season starts, we’re going to need all the help we can get.”
Andrei scoffs and moves to sit next to you and wrap his arm around your shoulders so you can burrow against his side. “You’re the rock, koroleva. If anyone can handle me, four kids, and the hockey season, it’s you,” he praises you, mouth pressed against your temple. “Just tell me if you’re overwhelmed, okay? We figure it out as a team.”
You nod against his side, the knot in your chest loosening a bit. Your arm rests on his stomach and Andrei keeps you as close as possible, knowing you need the physical comfort right now. “We’re so done having kids, by the way,” you mutter into his shirt.
Andrei laughs and your whole body vibrates with the sound. He rubs his hand up and down your arm, teasing, “Dimka and I are still outnumbered.”
“Oh, that is not something I care about,” you laugh in response, snaking your hand out to pluck a piece of sushi out of its container. “We’re closed for business down there.” You pause and then continue, knowing Andrei will have a retort. “For baby making business. Other fun activities will be reevaluated at six weeks.”
Your husband gives you a mock little salute, amusement written plainly on his face. He picks up his own piece of sushi with his free hand, popping the piece in his mouth and chewing before he says, quietly and totally sincerely, “you’re the best mom the kids could’ve asked for, you know that, right?”
“You’re going to make me cry again, you big jerk,” you sniffle, pressing a hand to your mouth. “I just finished crying!”
“I’m sorry,” Andrei cuddles you closer. “Eat and rest, because the moms are not going to want to wait too much long to meet the little guy.”
You pull back a little so look up at Andrei’s face and he has a slightly dopey look in his eyes, a little upturn to his lips like he’s trying to fight off a smile. “You want to go get him, don’t you?” You ask, exhaling a little laugh through your nose.
Andrei nods eagerly, unable to hide his excitement. “Yeah,” he admits, “I know we should rest, but I really want to keep holding him.”
“Go get him,” you say, “I kind of want to get a hit of that newborn smell.”
“Weirdo,” Andrei captures your chin in his fingers and tilts your head up to kiss you sweetly.
You grin against his mouth, “your weirdo and mother to your weird children too.”
Andrei’s laugh follows him all the way out the door.

water fights and nutmegs II v.pelova
just something short and soft for our lil viccy p water fights and nutmegs II v.pelova
"i bet you that i can nutmeg more players than you can by the end of training today." your girlfriend challenged with a cocky look in her thick accent that always made you smile, holding her hand out toward you. "not a chance, you only just learnt what nutmeg means!" you teased causing the dutch girl to roll her eyes as you shook her hand none the less.
"rules?" you asked with a raised eyebrow. "no telling anyone it is a challenge and no getting help." the dirty blonde decided and you nodded in agreement with the terms.
the team were all in germany at the adidas headquarters for a preseason camp, and despite the CL loss everyone was enjoying the quality time together in seemingly good spirits.
"lots!" you called out to your friend across the pitch who turned toward you, passing her the ball which conveniently happened to travel in between alessia's legs as you did. "did you just meg me!" the blonde turned and shoved you with a grin of disbelief as you shrugged.
"just in the wrong place at the wrong time russo." you teased shoving her back. "mm i'm sure." she shook her head, slinging an arm around you as jonas called for everyone to huddle up.
spotting your girlfriend meg an unsuspecting beth and viv, quietly impressed they hadn't even noticed her do it, you knew you had to step up your game. "loser." victoria mouthed to you with a grin, holding up four fingers signalling how many she had already done.
the next drill didn't provide you much opportunity to increase your lead, a rousing 3 on 3 round robin of football tennis, which at the very least your team won.
you then managed to subtly meg stina, lia and frida, playing it off as kicking the balls back to the training staff, neither girl tweaking there was anything up.
as training progressed your total tallies grew higher, some of your teammates catching on and shoving you both with a grin, just assuming it was a lighthearted joke and nothing else more.
"how many?" victoria asked as she appeared beside you, crossing her arms over her chest as the two of you surveyed the field, which was now being converted ready for an 11 on 11 as the final activity of the day.
"twelve." you smirked happily, your girfriend humming with a nod as if impressed. "fourteen." her head rolled toward you as the smile was wiped off your face, the midfielder wiggling her eyebrows and stealing a kiss.
"katies worth double. winner takes all?" you challenged, knowing neither of you had been successful in megging the irishwoman yet, in fact you weren't even going to try out of fear of the repercussions if you got caught.
"winner takes all?" your girlfriend frowned a little in confusion, a slight language barrier meaning she didn't quite understand. "like whoever nutmegs katie first, wins the bet." you explained as she ohh'd and nodded. "okay." she agreed eagerly as the whistle blew for training to resume.
"oh liefje?" (darling) you glanced at her as you went to walk off, raising an eyebrow. "fifteen." she teased, kicking a ball in between your legs which you hadn't even noticed she'd had.
"teef!" (bitch) you swore at her in shock as she took off, chasing after her and jumping onto her back as the two of you arrived to the group, messing up her hair and sliding back to the ground, the two of you poking and nudging one another as you were split into teams.
"do you ever keep your hands to yourself?" viv chuckled as she tossed bibs to you both, the three of you all grouped into the same team. "not on a good day." you grinned, the older dutch girl smacking the back of your head playfully for the comment as you joined the rest of your team in a huddle.
the game went well, your team dominated at 4-1 and were praised highly by jonas, still you took on board some feedback about making sure you were looking ahead for link ups before making passes directly forward.
and so riding out the high of one win, your girlfriend decided to very stupidly secure another. katie was busy chatting with steph, the two comparing tactics for how to be better next time as they took a well earned drink, having been on the losing side of the 11 v 11.
you watched with a shake of your head as victoria sealed her fate, far too cocky in her delivery as she tapped the ball through katies legs from behind, though her aim was off and the ball instead knocked against the irishwomans ankle.
"did you just try ta meg me?" the older girl turned around in bewilderment, the grin dropping right away from your girlfriends face as katies turned to stone. "no?" victoria laughed nervously, starting to back up as katie advanced on her.
"come here!" katie sprinted toward her, victoria stumbling over her own feet and smacking into a training dummy as katie easily caught her, wrapping an arm around the younger girl and pouring her entire drink bottle over her head, leaving her soaking wet.
"you wouldn't dare!" katie jeered with a smirk as victoria opened her own water bottle, her arm dropping to her side with a roll of her eyes and a nod, katie laughing at her expense.
so fixated on your girlfriend the irishwoman didn't notice you walk up behind her. "she might not, but i would!" you announced, dumping your own water bottle on the older girls head as it dropped to the ground and you sprinted off.
"oh you're a dead woman!" you heard katie yell after you, your girlfriends laughter echoing through the air as she yelled encouragement for you to run faster.
though it was to minimal use as it was inevitable katie would catch you, tackling you to the ground with a war cry as the two of you rolled around on the pitch for a moment, you desperate to get away and katie determined that not happen as your team mates and friends watched on in amusement.
"cmon mccabe, it was a joke! its a hot day!" you laughed at her soaking wet head as the irishwoman sat on top of you, pinning your hands under her knees. "leah! give me your bottle." both the older girls ignored your protests as leah handed over her water, sending you a smirk and blowing you a kiss before leaving.
"oh come on!" you struggled under her as katie poured the cold water on your face. "anyone else done? she's looking thirsty girls!" katie called out with a grin as several of your other team mates handed her their bottles.
"this is waterboarding! this is illegal!" you yelled out in protest, soaked to the bone as water bottle after water bottle was poured down on you, katie eventually getting up and offering you a hand. "i hate you." you sputtered, kicking her hand away as the older girl laughed.
"good. means you learned your lesson!" and with that she ran off, leaving you laying on the pitch, draping an arm over your face to block out the sun. "come on baby." you peeked up to see the amused face of your girlfriend staring down at you, offering you her hand.
you accepted it with a sigh, allowing her to pull you up to your feet.
"that was very romantic." the girl grinned teasingly, pulling you into a hug as you huffed and rested your chin on her shoulder. "you owe me." you pulled away with a pout, the dutch girl cupping your face and pecking your lips several times, mumbling how much she adored you with each tender act.
"better?" "we're getting there, i think you owe me a few more kisses though."

my masterlist || ask me anything <3
my blurb masterlist is here!
authors note - don’t ask me what this is because my brain has some weird ideas and has the weirdest inspiration.
word count - 1.5k
in which, your husband is ready to go on stage for fifteen out of fifteen nights at the kia forum, and the crew team come up with a way for him to get to the stage unnoticed, but his three year old daughter wants to get involved as-well.
Tonight was one of the shows that your husband had to postpone due to the flu. It was his fifteenth out of fifteen shows at the Kia Forum and this time, he was determined to fulfil all of his fans' dreams of seeing him.
Whether it was the first, second, third or tenth time. He always wanted to make them happy.
You stand backstage in the bustling atmosphere of the Los Angeles venue, excitement coursing through your veins as you hold your three-year-old daughter, Amelia, in your arms.
The tour crew rushes around, ensuring everything is in place for the show. Your husband stands nearby in his eccentric yet stunning outfit - silver trousers, a pink open jacket adorned with silver tassels on the shoulder pads, and a pair of pink Adidas Gazelles on his feet. He looks every bit the rockstar he is, and you can't help but smile proudly.
"Mommy, is Daddy going to sing for the people?" Amelia asks, her big curious eyes fixed on her father.
"Yes, sweetheart," you reply with a soft grin, nuzzling your cheek into her brunette curls. "Daddy is about to go on stage and sing his songs for all the fans."
"Wow!" Amelia gasps in awe.
Her gasp of awe alerted her father, who instantly made his way over to the two of you, he wrapped his arms around your waist, and hugged the two of you close to him, the feeling of his rings cool against your skin.
"Hey, m’loves," Harry greets, planting a gentle kiss on Amelia's forehead. "Are y’excited t’see Daddy perform?"
Amelia nods enthusiastically, hugging her small arms around his neck. "I love you, Daddy!"
"I love you too, princess," Harry nods, his eyes full of adoration as he holds his little girl close.
Your cute family moment is soon interrupted by the backstage door opening up and seeing the familiar bald head of the backstage crew manager, Steve.
He enters the room, looking a bit flustered. "Harry, it's almost time. You need to make your way towards the stage."
You and Amelia follow Harry and the tour crew to where the entrance to the stage is. The area is buzzing with excitement, and you can hear the cheers of the fans beyond the backstage barriers. Harry glances back at you, his eyes slightly apprehensive about the upcoming task of walking outside in the midst of the eager crowd.
Steve, the crew member, approaches with a couple of other guys and a sly grin on his face. "Don't worry, Harry. We've got a plan to get you through the fans incognito."
Harry raises an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh, really? What's the plan?"
"We're going to wheel you in this," Steve tells him , pointing to a large black box labelled 'Soft Goods.' "It's going to be like transporting a precious piece of equipment."
Amelia's eyes widen with curiosity as she looks at the box. "Daddy, are you going to hide in there?"
Harry chuckles and kneels down to her level. "Yes, princess. Daddy's going t’hide in here so that he can sneak past the fans without them noticing."
Amelia giggles, finding the idea amusing. "That's silly, Daddy!"
"It might be silly, but it'll work," you chime in, giving your husband of five years an encouraging smile. "It's a creative way to keep a low profile and ensure you get to the stage safely."
Harry glances at the box and then back at you. "I don't know, it seems a bit risky."
Steve interjects, "Trust me, Harry, it'll be fine. We've done this before, and it's worked like a charm. Besides, it's all part of the fun and excitement."
Harry looks at Amelia, who gives him an excited nod, and he finally relents. "Alright, let's do it."
As the crew prepares to put Harry inside the box, Amelia suddenly squirms in your arms, her little face contorting with determination. "Mommy, put me down! I wanna go with Daddy!"
You lower her down gently, and she runs straight over to her father, her tiny arms reaching out for the box. "Daddy, I wanna go in with you!"
Harry looks down at her, his eyes full of love and understanding. "Oh, sweetheart, I know y’want to be with me, but it's not safe f’y’t’be in there. Y’have t’stay with mommy and watch from outside, okay?"
Amelia's bottom lip quivers, and tears start streaming down her cheeks. "But Daddy, I don't want you to be scared by yourself!"
Harry crouches down to her level, trying to comfort her. "I won't be scared, love. I promise I'll be fine. It's just a little adventure I have t’take t’get t’the stage."
"I don't care! I wanna be with you!" Amelia sobs, her little heart breaking at the thought of being separated from her father.
You step closer, placing a hand on Amelia's back. "Sweetie, it's important for Daddy to do this on his own. But he's going to be back before you know it, and then we can all be together again."
Amelia turns to look at you, her tearful eyes pleading. "Mommy, can't I just go in for a little while?"
"I'm sorry, love, but it's not safe," you reply gently, trying to soothe her.
Harry gives you a reassuring nod before addressing his little mini-me. "Y’know what, princess? Next time I have t’go in the box, y’can come with me, okay? We'll have a secret adventure together."
Amelia's tears begin to subside, and she looks at Harry with hope in her eyes. "Really, Daddy?"
"Really," Harry affirms with a smile, wiping away her tears. "But f’now, y’have t’stay with mommy, alright? She'll take good care of you."
Amelia reluctantly nods, but her little arms are still reaching out for her father. "Okay, Daddy. But hurry back!"
"I will, I promise," Harry assures her, giving her one last hug.
He looks over Amelia's shoulder to where you're standing and gestures for you to come forward. You step closer, and he leans in, giving you a peck on the lips. "I love you," he whispers.
"I love you too," you reply, feeling the warmth of his love even in this brief moment.
You pick Amelia up, but she still tries to reach out for her father. "I don't want you to go, Daddy!"
"I have to, princess," Harry says softly. "But I'll be back soon, and we'll have the best time together."
As Harry crawls inside the box, the crew members gently close the lid, and you can hear Amelia's cries getting louder. Harry's muffled voice calls out from inside, "I love you, Amelia! Be good for mommy!"
Amelia's tears continue to flow as she clings tightly to you, watching the box with a mix of worry and anticipation. "I want Daddy to come back!"
"He will, sweetheart," you reassure her, holding her close. "He'll be back before you know it, and he'll be so happy to see you again."
With the plan in place, the crew members start wheeling the box towards the stage entrance, and you and Amelia follow closely behind. As you step outside, the cheers and excitement from the fans grow even louder.
Amelia tugs at your hand, looking up at you with wide eyes. "Mommy, where's Daddy?"
"He's right in there, sweetheart," you say, pointing to the box. "He's having a little adventure, and we'll see him on the stage very soon."
The crew members skillfully navigate through the crowd, Some fans do glance at the box with curiosity, but the clever disguise seems to work like magic, and nobody questions it further.
"Look, Mommy! It's the stage!" Amelia exclaims, pointing ahead.
You smile as you approach the stage entrance, where Harry will soon emerge. The crew members position the box strategically, right next to the stage lift that your husband and baby daddy will soon be stood on, ready to be elevated onto the stage, and you can feel the anticipation building in the air.
A few moments later, the box is opened, and from where your stood slightly down the hallway, Amelia’s head rested on your shoulder, and stood out of the way so you don’t get in the way of everything that’s going on, the two of you watch as Harry pops out, laughing as he dusts himself off.
"That was quite the ride!"
The crew members congratulate him on a successful journey, and Harry gives them a playful salute. "Thanks, guys. That was surprisingly fun."
Amelia squirms in your arms for the second time in the last ten minutes and instantly rushes towards him, hugging his legs tightly. "Daddy, you made it!"
"I sure did, princess," Harry grins, lifting her into his arms as well as he can given the limited space, pressing a kiss to her curls before lowering her back down.
He walks Amelia back over to you and presses one last kiss to your lips before making his way over to the stage lift, As the crowd roars in anticipation, your husband takes a deep breath, ready to step onto the stage and deliver another unforgettable performance. You stand behind him, holding Amelia's hand, and together, you watch him shine as he brings joy to the thousands of fans cheering his name.

Out of the Blue. (Captain Price X Reader.)
!CW! NSFW, Smut, unprotected p in v sex, friends to lovers, (sorry if I missed any.)
Summary: You and Captain Price are good friends and have sex out of the blue.
Kinda short
You and Captain Price were really good friends, best friends even. You had made friends with him through a few of your other friends and when they didn’t stick around, the both of you always did. Your friendship with him was always platonic. Going to ball games, watching them on tv. Having dinner together. Sometimes you’d go out drinking together. John had never even thought about you in another way other than friends. Of course everyone else thought it was weird that you were such good friends with the age gap you had, but he didn’t care. You seemed to have the same interests and taste in music. He always said you seemed really mature for being in your 20’s which you liked. All in all, he was a good friend and a good person. He took care of you when you needed it, and you were always there for him when he needed it.
When he came home from a bad mission where something had gone wrong, you comforted him. Kept him company, got him anything he needed. Anytime he fell, you were right there to catch him. The other way around as well. You were really good together. He talked about you a lot and got teased for it, of course everyone on base that he talked to always made fun of him about you but he always shrugged them off. Reassuring them that you were just friends, nothing more.
Right?
You don’t know what had gotten into you. Maybe it was just desperation. Maybe you’ve been deprived for too long. But as you scroll through your photos, seeing how handsome John really was. You couldn’t help but feel that familiar ache between your legs. You didn’t understand why you felt this way all of a sudden. You kept scrolling through them, all of the photos you’d taken together, a few of the trips you’d gone on. It was always platonic so what was this?
You sat up, thought about it for a moment. Sure, it could ruin your friendship. Or maybe it could be the start of something new. Something fun.
You drew your phone out and sent him a text.
Want to come over?
Darling, it’s passed midnight. Everything okay?
I’m alright. Just bored.
He laughs at his phone. This was out of the ordinary for you.
Okay. Give me 10.
Excitement flooded through you, he could totally reject you. He could walk away from you, be revolted by your advances. You’re quick to get ready. Just in case.
When he shows up, you’re casually watching tv. You’d left the door unlocked for him and he walks right in as usual.
“Hey.” He smiles. “Hi.” You breathe. He furrows his eyebrows in confusion at your breathlessness. “Is everything okay? You seem off.” You eye him up and down. He’s wearing a tight fitting t-shirt and sweatpants. The adidas you’d talked him into buying looked good on his feet.
You laugh. Looking down. You stand up, throwing the tv remote down. “I can’t lie.. I’ve been..” you swallow hard. You giggle, cheeks feeling warm at the admission. He moves closer to you. “What is it?” He asks. “I want you..” you look up at him, his eyes widening for a second. “Have you been drinking?” He cups your chin, moving your face side to side and watching your eyes. “No, I haven’t been drinking.” You mumble, grasping his hand. You push it down lower, until it’s at your lower stomach. “I want you, John.” You whimper. “Y/N.. I- where is this coming from?” He breathes. He can feel himself growing harder in his sweatpants at your desperation. “M’just horny John, and I want you.” You whimper. He breathes, body feeling warm. “I could go out and find some random person that I don’t trust at all. And I’ll go unsatisfied..” you trail off. “But I figured since I trust you-“
He cups your sex with his hand and you melt right into his touch. Giving up on the sentence you’d just started.
His hands are on you, his best friend who he’s never had these kind of feelings for before.
A moan leaves your lips when he glides his fingertips over your opening. “You really are a horny girl aren’t you?” He breathes. His body feels like it’s on fire. You whimper out. “Lay down on the couch, I’ll take care of you.” He breathes. You nod your head and he pushes you back. “How long has it been hm?” He asks. “Years.” You breathe. He nods. “Me too.” He sighs. He moves himself on top of you, pressing his lips to yours. You moan into him, the way he tastes is addicting.
You open your legs wider and he grinds himself into you. Drawing gentle moans from your lips. You’re wearing shorts but they’re loose enough for him to pull them to the side, and that’s exactly what he does. He pushes his sweatpants down to his mid thigh, you take in a deep breath as he lines himself up with your aching hole. He holds your hands above your head with his other hand and you wait impatiently, whining at the way the tip of his cock feels. He nudges into your entrance and in one thrust, slides right into you. You’re soaking wet and it makes it easier for him to slide right in.
The sighs you both let out are your bodies relaxing completely. He’s big, very big. He grasps your wrist with his hand that’s now free, pinning them down harder as he starts to rut his hips into you. “Oh- fuck.” He breathes, resting his forehead against your chest. “You feel fucking amazing.” He pants. You can smell the scent of his shampoo. A mix of vanilla and tobacco. His hair tickles your chest gently.
You can barely keep it together beneath him. Crying out his name and lifting your hips to meet his.
He’s good, he seems to know exactly what your body wants.
He’s grinding his hips into you, cock pressed right up against your spongy spot. “Ah- John!” You cry. “You okay? Do you want me to stop?” He breathes. You don’t understand why he’s asking that until you feel wetness on your cheeks. “No- please don’t.” You sob. “Why are you upset?” He breathes. “Not upset.. It feels s-so good-“ you tilt your head back. He draws his hips back further, starting to thrust harder into you. “Poor girl.. been deprived for so long.” He breathes. His laugh is taunting. “Haven’t been touched like this before have you? Nobody knows what to do with a girl like you.” He smirks. You look up at him, eyes watery. “I’m going to cum too soon.” You whimper. He smirks. “Here.” He breathes, “we can switch darling.”
“Can I ride you?” You ask. He nods his head. He sits up awkwardly, unsure of how to move. “You okay?” You ask as you slide back down onto him. He nods his head. “Yeah just.. never done this before.” He breathes. You tilt your head, looking at him in confusion. “M’always on top.” He breathes. You smile. “You’ve been missing out.” You breath. You adjust yourself, lifting yourself up and sliding back down onto him, his eyes widening has you smirking. You keep moving your hips against him and he breathes out. “Oh fuck.“ he breathes, clutching the top of the couch hard. His knuckles turning white with his grip. He grits his teeth, hissing out as he reaches for your hips, helping guide you down onto him. His lower stomach is clenching up, and he’s not doing good. He’s getting painfully close to reaching his peak and he doesn’t want to feel pathetic.
“Ah-“ he laughs. “You gotta stop darling.” He breathes. You shake your head. “Yeah- I’ll cum if you don’t.” He pushes his hips forward, moving you slightly. “That’s okay.” You whimper. Resting your hands on his shoulder. “Y/N- I don’t have anything on.” He pants. “Cum inside me.” You whimper. “You’re a bad girl.” He breathes. The muscles in his neck are tensed up, he’s gritting his teeth. He should stop you, push you off of him and cum on your stomach.
But he doesn’t. He starts to fuck you back, gripping your hips and thrusting up into you. “Cum with me.” He’s rough, thrusting right up into your spongy spot. It’s hard to keep moving. His pants are getting louder, more unsteady. Every time your hips meet his moans are getting louder. “Oh- I’m gonna cum!” He gasps, gripping your ass and clutching you hard. He sends you right into your orgasm, you clutch his shirt and cry out. He holds you close up against him, his eyes rolling back into his head as he cums.
He closes his eyes, panting out. You keep still on him, his cock still buried inside of you.
You’re finally coming to the realization of what just happened, your cheeks are burning.
“Suppose we should probably talk about this now ah?” He smiles.
