Mostly trying to decide how talented I think Miles is given how much the vibe of Sentinel changes over the trilogy to be technically more tech focused. Barrier -> Tech Armor pipeline.

In my mind the advantage of biotic barriers is that you can consciously fine tune how much you're putting into defense and quickly fortify them when needed, while shields and tech armor flatly are what they are.

Kind of like the idea that because tech armor is so volatile you really shouldn't combine it with using biotics to reinforce your shields.

#'why doesn't Kaidan use tech armor'#Miles can't keep up a barrier *and* quickly throw out those warp throw combos so he uses tech armor to shore up that weakness #Kaidan prefers having control over his barriers and having his omni-tool free for other stuff.#His only other biotic talent is reave which obviously doesn't reflect his full skillset #but I like the idea that Kaidan also relies on his omni-tool a bit more for mooks and only brings out the biotics on an as-needed basis #they can leave a lot of the lifting to Liara who can make singularities all day without breaking a sweat #Adepts in my mind are better conditioned + have better implants + better natural inclination towards biotics #so they can also more effectively rely on their biotics and throw them out all day without a sweat. Both control + power #there does seem to be a level of being born with different levels of potential? And I imagine you train based on where you fit #Adepts and Vanguards are biotic powerhouses. Sentinel has just enough to be dangerous. A powerful tool in the arsenal.
