Victor Crowley’s Hatchet Halloween Tales VI will be published on October 30 via American Mythology. The 32-page one-shot comic book features four more stories set in the Hatchet universe during Halloween.
The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg wrote a crossover in which the sitcom family meets Victor Crowley. Other stories are written by G.O. Parsons (Willy's Wonderland), S.A. Check, and James Kuhoric. Puis Calzada, Ev Cantada, and Gerardo Gambone illustrate.
Four cover variants are available: Main Cover by Roy Allan Martinez, Goldberg's Variant by Puis Calzada, Swamp Horror by Buz Hasson, and Old School Halloween by Ken Haeser.
In addition to your standard comic retailers, you can pre-order copies signed by Hatchet creator Adam Green from ArieScope Pictures. They’re $20 each or $50 for all four versions.

"Stream THE LIBERTINES ( @thelibertines ) cover of my song “Jessica” on Moping In Style: A Tribute To Adam Green - OUT NOW! (link in bio) or: https://bfan.link/moping-in-style
I met the Libertines in 2001 when we were touring the UK with The Strokes. They came to our show in Liverpool and gave us a homemade CD of their band. A year later they were signed to Rough Trade Records and we became friends. The way Carl and Pete write songs together is so idiosyncratic and personal, their approach is almost vaudevillian. I think the way that they write is similar to the way that me and Kimya wrote together in The Moldy Peaches, we’d become like one two-headed monster, and let our little inside jokes spill into the songs. That’s probably why we always felt a kinship with The Libertines, I wonder if I’d grown up in London if I’d have been a Libertine myself. Not unlike The Pogues for our generation, The Libertines universe should be sponsored by UNESCO for preserving Britain’s intangible cultural heritage. Note: This joyful clip from years ago is not the same version as is on the Tribute album - It feels like a great moment to share it tho! ❤️"

« If we’re putting out something positive about Democrats, it’s both more interesting and more persuasive to voters if we remember to say, ‘and Republicans stand for the opposite’. It’s so obvious but it really requires intentionality and that ball is often dropped. Those are the two low-hanging fruit things that if we get some attention, let’s not waste our attention by misfiring. »
— Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC), quoted at The Guardian.
It's not enough to tell voters that inflation has fallen and that unemployment is close to historical lows. We need to get the message out that Trump would derail the recovery.
Trump's horribly botched handling of the outbreak of COVID-19 not only cost hundreds of thousands of lives sent the economy into recession in 2020.
That Guardian article by David Smith points out..
The PCCC’s research shows that Democrats can drive a contrast over taxing the wealthy to boost social security. The statement “Billionaires and other wealthy Americans should have to pay social security taxes at the same rate as other Americans” has support from 79% of independent voters. Furthermore, the assertion that “Democrats support increasing taxes on billionaires and support increasing funding for programs like social security” gives the party an 11-percentage point lead. While adding a second sentence – “Republicans are pushing to cut taxes on billionaires and are pushing to cut funding for programs like social security” – doubles the advantage to 22 percentage points.
Don't wait for ads or speeches to describe the gap in Social Security taxes to people who are unaware of it. If filthy rich billionaires paid their fair share we wouldn't be hearing talk about Social Security going bankrupt.
Over Thanksgiving, don't let your blowhard MAGA uncle spew crap about the economy.
The truth is that all US recessions except one since the Korean War began under Republican administrations. That includes the Great Recession started under George W. Bush (it was his second recession).

The Monster Squad Theatrical Trailer
How does a Squad…become a Cult? How does a Cult…become a Classic? When it was released in 1987, The Monster Squad was deemed a failure by critics and was, according to the box office, a film no one cared about. But over the last three decades, word of mouth has turned it into a cultural phenomenon. Wolfman's Got Nards is a howlingly entertaining documentary that explores the power of cult film told through the lens of The Monster Squad, taking an in-depth look into the film's conception, response, cult status and revival. Through interviews with the cast, crew, screenwriters, directors, academics and original reviewers as well as through never-before-seen footage, it turns the lens on an audience of self-proclaimed misfits (including celebrities and filmmakers) who have kept The Monster Squad alive for more than 30 years.
Pre-order Wolfman's Got Nards.
