A small apartment right on top of a liquor store that’s open 24/7 on a street with flashing neon lights and bars on every corner. A cheap cafè across the street. The constant humming of cars driving by and sirens going off at the most random of hours. A window leading to a fire escape. A black cat, my companion, sitting next to the window. Inside, the carpet is maroon and the walls are red. Multiple layers of shear orange and pink curtains hanging at every window. Black sheets cover the mattress. The covers are dark purple. A Dalmatian dog taking up half the space on the bed; my other companion. A small tv sitting on a dresser across my bed. The bedside table has candles, cigarette packs, a long 20’s styled cigarette holder, an ashtray and candles. Candles everywhere. No alarm clock. Fluffy handcuffs close by. In a corner, a small desk with a computer and printer. Different fur coats hanging in the closet matches up with skimpy dresses and quite a few leather jackets. A leopard print couch with throw pillows matching the purple bed covers and a throw blanket that matches the orange and pink curtains. Dark stained wooden furniture covered in stickers I’ve accumulated. A vanity made of the same wood with a drawer filled with my make-up collection. Various types of alcohol fill them. The walls throughout the place have guitars (electric and acoustic) hanging all over. There are paintings and framed posters everywhere. There’s a radio next to the window and a record player in the living room next to a shelf mixed with books I may or may not read and my vinyl records. Lava lamps of different colors in each room. There are no doors in the doorways that separate the small rooms. I hang colorful beads to hang from the door frame to the floor. I have mismatched lamps with vintage and cultural lampshades of all sorts. I have a black chair in the shape of a high heel, just because I like it. The wall next to this chair has a collage of Polaroid photos of me with my friends and family. Last, but not least, I have a plastic bin to keep all of my dirty needles and a drawer filled with foil, rooters, pipes, lighters, torches, all sorts of useful paraphernalia, and a safe filled with heroin, fentanyl and cocaine. This is where I see myself within the next five years. This type of lifestyle has appealed to me since I was a little girl. The darkness. The underbelly of a city. The neon signs in the night and the sounds of the city that others fear creeping in from my windows. I think this started to appeal to me young because my parents would take me to walk at Belmont Shores in Long Beach, California in the evenings. We’d get dinner and go window shopping there at least twice a month. I don’t think I’d feel more at home than I would in this environment I explained. Kind of that 70’s haunting prostitute vibe. Small, slightly crowded, but homey. I know this lifestyle sounds like the type a lot of people will do almost anything to get out of. But I find it comforting and enchanting.

First off, last week’s chapter was bizarre as we see Urashima, the sumo wrestler that flirted with Okiku, eating at a restaurant with one of the gifters that work for Kaidou, Mouseman. Hashirama is crazy for Okiku so Mouseman gave him advice to instead of conquering her, just snatch her. He liked that idea. Meanwhile, poor sweet O-Tama confronts one of Kaidou’s crew member, Holdem. A strange man who has a live lion as a stomach. Anyway, he demands O-Tama to say her skills on how she was able to tame the baboon, Hihi. He even asked about that ability of hers of making dangos from her cheek. It scared poor O-Tama and pray for Luffy to save her. Finally, Luffy and the others arrived looking for her, but no sign. Okiku tells the guys that the town was once lively, but since bad goons came to take over, they drove everyone away so it’s every man or woman for themselves. At the end, Urashima is in a sumo contest challenging every person who dare to do defeat him. Everyone was cheering for him. He even noticed Okiku thinking that she came to see him, but she really has no interested. One of his goons was able to snatch her, but she was brave enough to defend herself and cut off Urashima’s topknot. Everyone was in major shock to see that. Creating a scene that would catch Holdem and his goons attention to save Tama. Will they get the hint? Will they save her? Don’t miss it this week. It will have a color cover. Next, this past weekend’s episode started off with a big blow. The fight b/w Luffy and Katakuri has begun, and Luffy has met his strong match as he realizes that Katakuri is in a whole another level. Meanwhile, in Totland, Nami and the gang finally got far from the island, but not out of the woods yet. Nami then explains to Brook and Chopper about poor Pedro’s fate which they didn’t take it too well. However, Jinbei tells to mourn later as they must first meet with Sanji so they can get Big Mom to Cacao Isalnd for the cake. At the end, Luffy continues his hardcore battle with Katakuri. Next time, they’re fight is boosting up even more. Will our hero be able to lay a punch? Let’s keep on cheering for him. Now on with the goodies! Next, the tower will tower will have some new goodies at the store. They’ll be selling this passport cover, a bag belt to hold your luggage on top, and a luggage belt. Next, the tower finally released birthday goodies they’ll have of Crocodile and Hancock. If you purchase more than 3000 yen, you’ll be given a free poster of him. They will also sell his birthday button and acrylic key chain. If you visit the tower and make a purchase at the tower, you’ll be given Hancock’s birthday postcard. They café will also have some yummy birthday dishes. For Hancock, they’ll serve her Loveable sprinkle brulee pancake that has some yummy delish creamy brulee, fluffy pancakes, and sweet berry sauce to top it off. For Crocodile, they’ll serve his Ground Death Curry dish served with some rice and spicy curry sauce around it with a shaped hook dry chip on top. If you order either of them, you’ll be given their birthday card. Very scrumptious food! Next, all arcades will be stocking this Colosseum figurine of Sabo in color and gray version. Get your coins ready! Beat the crane. Next, next weekend, another Ichiban Kuji and the theme is Story Age. Prize A will be a figurine of Luffy with small pics of memorable moments. Next, this weekend at Tokyo Sky Tree will be holding a Megahouse exhibit, and they’ll be selling this new figurine Rubik of Luffy and Chopper. It will be released in Sept., but if you attend to this exhibit, you can purchase it early before the official release date. Moving on, its year 6 and all Straw Hat stores will be selling new anniversary goods. To celebrate the anniversary, they’ll be selling limited ed. goods such as this frame board, a blanket, t-shirts in black and white, these colorful acrylic straps, and of course this colorful yet adorable mugi mugi tote bag. Other new items that will be released this week is this jigsaw puzzle of Luffy, Shanks, Zoro, and Ussop, these adorable house slippers of Chopper and Bepo, a wooden strap and large tote bag of the Straw Hats farewell of Alabasta. That’s not all. The stores will be holding a dice campaign. You will roll a dice and whatever number lands on, you’ll be give a free bromide card according to the anniversary number of each theme. I think they’ll let you choose any of the two designs. Loads of neat goodies for the big 6! Last, but not least, the special episode of Skypiea has been broadcasted so I hope everyone got a chance to see it. Namie Amuro was also included in the ending with the Straw Hats.
